5 Years Later-Metropolis

After Supergirl's reign of terror, the Earth had been scorched. The oceans, the ice caps, and most of the freshwater had been vaporized, most of the Earth was now a dry desert, the cities were in ruins, the sky was perpetually orange from dust and pollutants, complex life was extinct, and lava plumes were present everywhere from strategic cracks in the crust. All that remained of the Justice League were the random heroes of Batman, Deathstroke, Brainiac 5, Mera, and Kid Flash.

Pushed to his limits, Batman did his patrols with a rifle. He took cover behind ruined cars with skeletons inside them. "Clear," he said to the others.

"How much further?" Wally asked wearing an armored version of his uniform.

"Quit your bitching," Batman scolded him. "It's right over there," he pointed out.

"Well, we need to hurry. We can't be out in the open for much longer," Brainiac 5 said wisely. "She'll come for us."

"Let her come. Let the bitch come," Mera said in a thick English accent.

"I know that wasn't supposed to sound sexual, but...," Batman pointed out.

"I'll stab this through her heart for what she did to Arthur. I want to make her pay," she clarified referring to her trident.

"Mera...shut the fuck up. You totally betrayed and humiliated Arthur in every way possible," Batman scowled.

"Oh yeah? Who have you ever loved?" Mera shot back.

The five of them heard a chuckle in the background. Batman turned around to see Joker in a SWAT uniform holding a rifle out in the open like he didn't give a damn. "How the fuck did he get ahead of us?" Batman wondered.

"Au contraire, my little fish stick. He knows exactly what it means to lose someone he loves. You know, like, uh...a father, a mother," Joker antagonized. His lips were covered in blood, his face unnaturally pale, his eyes were sunken in, and his green hair was long and wild. He looked like a total zombie.

"Be careful what you say next," Batman warned him.

"Like an adopted son," Joker twisted the knife. "Isn't that right, Batman? Tell me, how many have to die in your arms before you become numb to death?"

"That's not very careful," Batman said as he advanced on him.

"How many dead eyes can you look into before you die inside, yourself?" Joker asked.

"I've been dead inside a long time but even I have a limit. I will kill your ass if you don't shut the fuck up," Batman warned him.

"You're not going to kill me, Bruce. After all, we live in a society. No, you won't kill me. I'm your best friend. Besides, who else is going to give you a reach-around?" Joker reminded him.

"You raise a good point," Batman admitted.

"Anyway, you need me to undo your fuck-up," Joker said to him.

"Maybe I prefer it this way," Batman said argumentatively.

The other four waited around awkwardly as Batman and Joker continued to shit-talk each other. "Sure hope this is worth it," Deathstroke muttered.

"I often wonder, how many alternative timelines have you destroyed because you don't have the balls to die yourself?" Joker continued. "So, as usual, I'll be the bigger man. A truce, Bruce," he laughed at his own wit as he revealed a Joker card. "So long as you have this card, a truce. All you have to do is tear this card apart and I'll be more than willing to discuss with you what I did to your boy-wonder."

Batman gave him a hateful look. "I see the boy was dear to you. Know that he suffered greatly at the hands of his host. Who would have thought one so small could endure so much pain. And he did...Bruce. He did," Joker smiled.

"You talk about people dying in my arms. When you're bleeding and dying with your last breath, you're going to beg me for death and I won't give it to you," Batman promised and then took his card.

"I'm shaking," Joker mocked as he dramatically shook his hand in front of him.

"I'm done playing around. I will fucking kill you," Batman threatened.

Joker stared at him slightly alarmed and then relaxed. "You're good. You almost had me," he laughed.

"There's nothing you can say that can provoke me. You are the wind against a mountain. You have no power over me," Batman told him.

"Steve Jobs owned a PC," Joker pointed out.

"What the fuck did you say? I will fucking kill you, you piece-of-shit!" Batman raged completely losing his cool as he grabbed him by his SWAT vest.

Joker merely laughed gleefully. "Where are we going?" Deathstroke interrupted.

"Somewhere she wouldn't suspect," Batman said as he regained his composure.

"At least you're making new friends," Deathstroke said referring to Joker.

"Could be temporary," Batman said darkly.

"She's found us," Brainiac 5 said helpfully.

Supergirl landed in front of them with glowing red eyes. All of them readied their weapons for the fight of their lives except Joker who knew they were all fucked. Joker exploded in a fountain of blood as he was hit with heat vision beams. Brainiac 5, Deathstroke, and Batman fired on her in vain. The bullets merely bounced off her. Mera went for a strike with Arthur's trident. Kara disarmed her of the trident and held her off the ground by her neck. Deathstroke swung his sword on Kara only for it to shatter. Kara swatted Deathstroke to the ground destroying his rib cage from the blow. Kara broke Mera's neck and then dropped her. Out of ammunition, Brainiac 5 fired plasma cannons from both arms against Kara to no effect. Kara punched him through the chest destroying his torso. Wally punched Kara dozens of times a second to no effect. Kara merely pushed him to the ground. Batman swung his spent rifle on Kara's face breaking it. Kara lightly pushed Batman into a rock knocking him out.

Kara ignored Batman as she focused on Wally. As she did, her expression became contorted as if she was resisting her mind-control. "Run," Kara said softly and then regained her composure.

Wally gave her a wide-eyed look and then ran off into the distance. Kara took to the air and flew after him leaving Batman behind.

Not long afterward, Batman exited his bunker and used his binoculars to spot his convoy. In front of him was the omega symbol carved into the ground. The convoy eventually arrived in a small settlement made up of shipping containers. Batman cautiously approached the convoy with his rifle. "Did you get it?" he asked the convoy commander.

"Yeah, we got it," he assured him.

Batman entered the back of the truck and saw a glowing green case. Looking inside the box, he found it to be two green lightbulbs powered by a battery. "The fuck?" he wondered.

The convoy commander double-crossed Batman pulling out a pistol. "I'm sorry."

Soldiers allied with Supergirl cast off their cloaks revealing sleek Nazi-looking uniforms and helmets. The soldiers fired on Batman's allies killing them all with machine gunfire. "No!" Batman shouted as he shot the convoy commander and began kicking ass on Supergirl's soldiers. What proceeded was Batman beating the shit out of Supergirl's soldiers with everything at his disposal. He beat them over the head with spent rifles, shot them, and punched them down. He then used their own rifles to kill several of them. Finally, Batman was subdued as more soldiers arrived.

Batman awoke between two prisoners. It was then that Batman realized he was a Christ figure. Supergirl landed on the scene and immediately her men bowed before her like she was a goddess. Supergirl incinerated the two prisoners next to Batman with her heat vision. "Really, guys, couldn't even say a word in protest?" he scolded.

Supergirl took off Batman's cowl revealing Bruce with perfect hair and teeth despite the apocalypse. Supergirl dropped the cowl as if disgusted by it. "She was my world and you took her from me," Kara said referring to Alex.

"I didn't make her jump," Bruce excused.

"It was your plan," Kara said angrily. She touched Bruce's chest and pressed in causing Bruce to cry out in pain. "This will not be over quick," Kara promised as she tortured him to death. Kara then noticed a vibration on the planet. She gave the dead Batman a surprised look. "My trap was your trap," she realized.

Wally sped around the world at maximum speed and surpassed the speed of light breaking the speed force. Kara's glare turned to a smile for a quick second as Wally went back into the past.

Present Day-DEO Fortress

Kara, Mon, and Brainiac 5 hung out at the DEO Fortress in front of the computer screen. Kara was lazily sitting in her chair as the other two stood behind her. "We should strike Darkseid now. I'm tired of waiting," Mon said impatiently.

"His empire continues to expand in the galaxy," Brainiac 5 agreed.

"We can have Karina take care of it," Kara said dismissively. "Whether or not we defeat Darkseid, it doesn't change the future."

Electrical discharges sparked all around them as Wally appeared on Kara's computer screen. "Barney, listen to me now. It's Alex. She's the key. You were always right about Supergirl! Fear her!" Wally said to him.

"I'm right here, asshole," Kara said peeved.

"Take this!" Wally said as he slowly pushed himself through the computer screen to give Brainiac 5 a flash drive. Wally then lost momentum and disappeared into the void.

"Well, that was weird," Mon remarked.

Brainiac 5 casually connected a finger cable into the fash drive to read its contents. After a second, he eyed Kara and Mon. "We need to talk."

Apokalips

Mon and Kara instantly arrived on a hill overlooking the capital city of Apokalips. In front of them were several giant furnaces leading to the mantle and high-tech city of factories all dedicated to manufacturing death. There were no living quarters as every slave of Darkseid worked tirelessly without end. The sky was full of smoke from the furnaces and industrial pollution. Patrols of Parademons flew about in the distance.

Mon was dressed in his Insane armor. He would win or lose, live or die as an Insane prince. "Dear, let's get their attention," Kara said to him. Mon aimed his hand at one of the furnaces and blasted a hole that went straight through the planet. Immediately, Apokalips was on alert.

Standing in front of his city, Darkseid held a perpetually pissed-off face. "She is on our world, my master, my pain, my god," Desaad informed Darkseid. "The Kryptonian is here."

"I will go to her and kick her ass. My ax will split her skin. I will pull her spine out of her still-breathing body. What's left of her will hang in chains in the weeping room. This, I pledge to you, my lord," Kaibak said ambitiously.

"For Darkseid," Desaad added.

"For Darkseid," Kalibak agreed.

"You believe it will be your ax that will destroy the Kryptonian, Kalibak?" Darkseid asked skeptically.

"I have shed the blood of the old gods and the new," Kalibak said confidently.

"Supergirl is not a god. Her mortal death means nothing to me. What I want is her soul. Release every slave from the camps. The slave that kills Supergirl will be spared further servitude," Darkseid ordered.

"No slave could kill the Kryptonian," Kalibak doubted.

"But they will try. They will die trying, Kalibak," Desaad said cruelly.

"Wow...that's actually kind of fucked up," Kalibak said taken aback.

"You, Kalibak, will lead my armies," Darkseid ordered.

"Tell me, my lord, is this war about capturing Supergirl, destroying her, or revenge against her allies?" Kalibak asked.

"Yes," Darkseid replied.

"For him, for Darkseid," Desaad said.

"Okay, I think you can stop," Kalibak said to Desaad.

Kara eyed the city with her X-ray vision. "There's too much lead in the air. We're going to have to find Darkseid the old-fashion way."

"Fine by me," Mon said as he went Super Insane in a flash of golden light.

An army of slaves with chains still attached to their bodies headed their way. "Do your thing," Kara allowed looking away.

Mon blasted the army of slaves incinerating them as they came towards them. The slave district was blasted apart from the beams. "Is the lack of sunlight affecting you?" Mon asked casually as he blasted away individual buildings.

"No, I have plenty of reserves," Kara replied.

Kalibak suddenly landed in front of them with his ax. "Kryptonian bitch!" he shouted.

"I'll take care of him. Take as much time as you need to power up," Kara said to Mon.

Kalibak swung his ax down upon Kara's shoulder. "For Darkseid!" The ax stopped unable to pierce her suit or skin. "Not impressed," Kara said and then blew frost breath on the ax shattering it.

Kara floated up to Kalibak's height and kicked him into a ruined building. Frustrated, Kalibak slammed the ground and got back to his feet. Kara fired heat vision blasting a hole through his shoulder. The beam went straight into the Apokalips city causing massive explosions and fires along the entire path. Kalibak charged Kara and tried to punch at her. Kara easily avoided the punch and then hit Kalibak to the ground. As Kalibak got back to his feet, Kara smacked him around in the air with three hard-hitting punches. The last punch slammed Kalibak into a building. Kara punched him through the building where he hit the ground hard. Kara slammed her boots into his gut as she came down and punched him repeatedly. She then blasted his eyes with her heat vision blinding him.

"I don't need to see you to kill you, bitch," Kalibak said painfully.

Kara continued to punch at him breaking ribs and scrambling organs. Kalibak coughed up blood as he received the beating of his life. "Help me!" Kalibak cried out to the Parademons circling them. The Parademons ignored his cries only following the strong. Kara continued to beat on Kalibak like he was a punching bag and then saw a flash of light as Mon reached Super Insane 4.

Omega beams danced around the city until they hit Kalibak incinerating him to ash. Kara backed away just in time and saw Darkseid, Desaad, and Granny Goodness eying her from above.

Kara entered the palace and confronted Darkseid as he sat on his throne. In front of the throne was a bridge with a fire roaring on either side of it. With few exceptions, Darkseid was either sitting on his throne or standing as he watched his city. "You seek my power, Kara Zor-El. Are you capable of wielding such power...," Darkseid asked her.

"Yeah, I...," Kara began.

"The power to take away a people's confusion and replace it with obedience?" Darkseid asked rhetorically.

"Sure...," Kara said.

"To give a people one clear purpose, to die for your will?" Darkseid interrupted.

There was a long awkward pause. "Oh, you're finished? Yeah, I can handle that," Kara said confidently.

"I sense a great pain in you, an anger," Darkseid said of her.

"Nope, I'm good," Kara denied.

"You have a deep hole in your heart, a want that was never met. Are you trying to fill the hole in your heart by coming here?" Darkseid asked.

"What are you, my therapist?" Kara mocked.

"There are some holes that only an army of Parademons can fill," Darkseid said knowingly.

"I assure you, all of my holes have been filled," Kara said. "Wait...that came out wrong."

"If you want my throne, you must prove yourself to me. You must defeat Granny Goodness," Darkseid told her.

Granny shook her head as she tapped her scepter. "Too easy," Kara said confidently. Granny rushed her with her scepter. Kara didn't even bother to dodge but a hit to the cheek actually made Kara bleed. "First blood," Granny smiled.

"Shit," Kara realized and backed away.

Kara fired on Granny with heat vision but the beam was deflected off her armor. Granny swung her scepter in wide swipes as Kara avoided it. Granny slammed her scepter on Kara a few times and then tossed her into the fire. "Kryptonian scum," she spat.

Kara rose from the fire and used her knife hand to slice the scepter in half. She then punched Granny off the bridge and into the fire where she was incinerated. Desaad backed away fearfully as Kara advanced on him next. Omega beams suddenly incinerated Desaad for his cowardice. "Tell me, Kryptonian. Why do you wear those colors?"

"I know it's a little archaic but...," Kara said.

"Is it because it reminds you of your destroyed world? A world that pretended to embody tolerance and fairness? The world you despise for exiling you? A people you refuse to return to? Is it because these are their colors there? Is that why you wear them?" Darkseid taunted.

"Actually, I choose to wear them...," Kara began.

"You choose? You think you are free? You are only free because I allow you to be. You have never been free. You have always been my slave," Darkseid interrupted.

"Let's agree to...," Kara disagreed.

"You have many you care about, friends, and a lover. Your feelings betray them...especially for your sister. So...you have a twin sister? Your feelings have betrayed her, too. You were wise to hide her from me but now your failure is complete. If you won't join my Furries then perhaps she will," Darkseid said referring to Karina.

Kara suddenly punched Darkseid off his throne and through the building where he landed in one of the furnaces. "Stop interrupting me, God damn," Kara said peeved.

Mon instantly appeared at her side as a Super Insane 4. "Even at this level, I can't defeat him," he admitted.

Kara eyed him wondering what he planned to do. "I'm going to need a little time to change this. Don't kill him," Mon requested.

"Should he manage to turn me again, you know what to do," Kara told him.

Mon nodded and then backed away from the battlefield. He raised his hands as he gathered spiritual energy from the Apokalips slaves and the people of New Genesis nearby. A furious Darkseid took to the skies and went straight for Kara. The two clashed at the fists and engaged in hand-to-hand combat at a quick speed. Darkseid fired his omega beams at Kara missing her. The beams hit the city, destroying a city block and killing thousands of slaves.

"I see that you do not value life in a fight," Darkseid taunted.

"I'm not that kind of hero," Kara smirked.

"Very well then," Darkseid smirked.

Darkseid engaged Kara once more and got the better of the fight slamming Kara into the city. Kara made several illusion clones to confuse Darkseid and then punched him hard into a tower. Kara kept up the illusion clones to stall Darkseid as he furiously punched at all of them. Finally, he fired omega beams through all the illusion clones including the real Kara. Darkseid took to the air and fired omega beams down on Kara. She met his beam with her own and quickly overpowered him. Darkseid suddenly appeared behind her and bitch-slapped Kara into the city creating a massive dust cloud.

Kara sighed as she wiped away her bloody lip. Going Prime, she went back into the air and clashed with Darkseid at the fist. Kara backhanded Darkseid to the ground and then flew straight at him. Darkseid blocked her as she came down. The two struggled against each other until Kara blew Darkseid up into the air. She took hold of Darkseid's boot and slammed him to the ground creating a crater. Darkseid fired up at her creating a pillar of energy that went into space. Darkseid and Kara took to the air circling each other. They both fired at the same time with their beams meeting in the middle. Finally, the entire city was annihilated in a nuclear blast between them.

"You are quite different from long ago. I would have made you the captain of my Furries but I now realize I must cut you from my life," Darkseid told her.

"Even if you did manage to brainwash me into your cult, I would still be uncooperative," Kara said knowingly.

"I don't expect a dumb blond like you to appreciate my goals. Once the anti-life equation is mine, I will end war forever. I will control the rate of reproduction and death for all species in the universe. True power is not killing. If I slaughtered half of all life in the universe, within a generation or two, the population would recover to its previous level. No, true power is controlling life and death simultaneously," Darkseid said to her.

"God will sort it out," Kara told him.

"God? I am god," Darkseid replied.

Kara continued to stall the battle out as she avoided all of Darkseid's punches. After a few dozen missed punches, Darkseid was seriously pissed off. "Stop mocking me!" he shouted at her. Kara blocked his kick and then went on her own assault punching Darkseid several times to the torso and head. Darkseid eventually matched her speed and the two clashed repeatedly at the fist and foot.

"It's like she's not even trying," Mon said enviously as he continued to hold up his hands. Life energy flowed from the nearby New Genesis to power his spirit bomb that was now acting as a second sun in the sky.

Kara deflected an omega beam and kept her distance from Darkseid as she gave Mon more time. A frustrated Darkseid slammed his fist into the ground creating a mini-earthquake. Darkseid and Kara clashed several times in the air creating shock waves with each blow. "You're mine," Darkseid said confidently as he slammed his fist into the ground.

Kara looked down on Darkseid condescendingly as she stood on a hill above him. "How are you able to dodge my attacks?" he demanded of her. Darkseid's attacks continued to miss Kara's superior speed. "Why are my punches always missing you?" he asked frustrated. "Enough of this!" he said as he slammed his fist into a building. The building then collapsed from the force of the hit.

"Perhaps you should transform to your next form before I make an even bigger fool of you," Kara mocked.

"So be it," Darkseid growled.

"This is fucking maddening," Mon shook his head dismayed as Darkseid's power began to rise.

Darkseid's eyes glowed red as his body became taller, more muscular, and shed his armor. He was now three times taller and appeared as a giant above Kara. In this form, his power was 2x from before. "Impressed with what you see?" he asked her.

"Is that all you got?" Kara asked unimpressed.

Darkseid suddenly punched Kara to the face tilting it to the side. "His speed has increased as much as his power. Incredible," Mon said of Darkseid. Kara actually had a bloody lip from the punch. "You done fucked up," she said annoyed.

Kara punched Darkseid hard to the gut stunning him and then an uppercut to the chin dropping him. Darkseid fell to a knee devastated by the hits. "How can this be?" Kara casually walked towards Darkseid without fear. "I'll treat you to show some respect," Darkseid glared as he gave her a hard kick. Kara blocked the kick and then gave him a kick of her own. Darkseid tumbled about on the ground for a good while.

"I will not be humiliated by a mere girl. This has gone far enough," Darkseid said angrily. "This is impossible. I am a god. It is impossible for a mere Kryptonian child to defeat me. I am the ultimate fighter in the universe. I have no equal."

Darkseid took to the sky and fired his omega beams at her at full power. Kara got in a fighting stance and went Prime briefly as she countered his omega beams with her own heat vision. The two beams met in the middle and then Kara quickly overpowered Darkseid. When the light faded, Darkseid had lost the lower half of both legs and his left arm. Darkseid grunted in pain and was humiliated from being countered.

Kara merely smirked and waited for Darkseid to evolve to his next form. "I could have kicked your ass at any moment, but I want you to suffer."

"You wretched child. How dare you!" Darkseid shouted as he transformed a second time. Kara watched bored as Darkseid became smaller, his head bulged to look more like a serpent, and a tail sprung out. His back was lined with spikes. Once he was done, he looked the same as a Xenomorph with red eyes. His power level was now 5x from his original form. "Really?" Kara rolled her eyes.

In this new form, Darkseid fired on Kara with non-stop omega beams. The beams rained down on Kara zapped the rocks and dirt around her to nothing. Kara went Prime causing the beams to bounce off her. Darkseid then flew towards her and tried to get a hit on her. Kara dodged his attacks easily enough and then kicked him to the jaw. Darkside whipped his spiky tail at her in response. Kara cut it clean off with her knife hand and then kicked Darkseid to the ground.

"Give me your final form. I'm bored with you. You're boring me," Kara taunted.

"Very well, Kryptonian," Darkseid spat as he transformed once more.

This time, he shrank down to a slender humanoid the size of Kara. He was now 8x the power level of his base form. "Look upon perfection," Darkseid said confidently.

Kara punched Darkseid off the ground, grabbed his more slender body, and then slammed her knee into his back. Kara then slammed him down to the ground creating a dust cloud. Darkseid rose from the ground and fired omega beams without stopping at Kara. The beams merely bounced off her. "This is bullshit," Darkseid sneered unable to comprehend her power.

The two fought in the air with punches and kicks with neither having the advantage. Darkseid fired his omega beams missing each time. "Stop moving, bitch," Darkseid gritted his teeth. Kara then indulged him allowing him to score a direct hit on her forehead. Darkseid gave a look of disgust and incredulity as Kara remained unharmed.

"Well, so you know, I am only at one percent of my true power," Darkseid told her.

"Oh really?" Kara mocked. "Show me."

Darkseid powered up as he bulked his muscles up while still keeping his short form. By the time he was done, his muscles appeared to overwhelm his frame. The whole planet shook from his power-up and it was at this moment, Kara became slightly concerned. Darkseid was now 800x his base form. In an instant, Kara went to Prime 2 creating an aura the size of a moon before concentrating her power within herself. At Prime 2, Kara was now 625x her base form, more than enough to compete with Darkseid one-on-one.

To her surprise, Darkseid's punches started to hurt. She still had the better of the fight as they crashed through buildings, tore through the planet's crust, and wrestled inside plumes of lava. Kara slammed Darkseid to the ground creating a crater and placed him in a headlock to keep him from moving. He fired omega beams that danced around them and hit Kara in the back.

"Bitch move," Kara said as she cracked his shoulders and neck. She then looked up and saw that Mon was done with his spirit bomb. He entered the white orb of pure positive energy and absorbed the energy into himself for this one fight.

Mon gritted his teeth as his body absorbed the energy he had collected from New Genesis and surrounding systems. Darkseid then noticed what Mon was doing and tried to stop him with an omega beam. Kara placed her hands on his eyes creating a feedback loop that burned out his eyes. Kara then beat his ass with several powerful punches that cracked his skin. With Darkseid greatly weakened, Kara watched in wonder as Mon reached a new form.

The red fur on his arms, back, and stomach glowed white, his black hair became white as well, and his eyes turned green. For this moment, he had achieved Super Insane 5. The spirit bomb dissipated it was absorbed into Mon's body and aura. Mon then instantly appeared at Kara's side. "You look sexy with your polar bear fur," she said lustfully.

"I knew you would like it," Mon smiled. "Thank you for keeping him alive for me to take care of."

"Of course," Kara said giving him a kiss.

"You were just fucking with me? Darkseid is not one to be played with," he raged as he got back to his feet.

Mon gave the wounded and weakened Darkseid a total beat down with punches and kicks while utilizing his instant transmission. Darkseid couldn't even land a punch on him as he was being whacked around. "Emak, Emak, Ah!" Mon shouted as he blasted off a large part of Darkseid's off.

"Fool, do you think I am this shell? I do not use omega beams as a weapon. I am omega!" Darkseid told them.

"If he blows himself up, it will consume New Genesis and who knows how many other systems," Kara said slightly alarmed.

"I have an idea," Mon said.

"Don't die," Kara ordered.

"Trust me," Mon smiled.

Darkseid began to glow red as the red energy inside him started to leak out. Without his hard skin, he was pure uncontrolled energy. Mon touched Darkseid on the shoulder and disappeared.

Mon took Darkseid to a massive black hole and then grabbed him tightly. The both of them went beyond the event horizon into a pure dark void. "Let go of me, your dirty Insane," Darkseid shouted at him.

Mon kept his grip on him and then felt gravity increasing on him. "Your instant transmission tick won't work here, Insane. You will be stretched out and torn apart," Darkseid told him.

"Is that so?" Mon smirked. "Did you think I would bring you here without trying it out first?"

"You're truly Insane," Darkseid realized.

"Super Insane," Mon corrected and then disappeared.

Darkseid's hard skin was stretched out as if it were liquid and then the energy within himself expanded outward. The Black Hole absorbed the energy discharge and what was left of Darkseid fell onto the singularity where it would never escape.

Mon instantly appeared at Kara's side and powered down to his base form. "I've done it," he said amazed.

"Well, the black hole actually did it," Kara corrected.

"Don't...ruin my moment," Mon smiled. "I've avenged my people."

"Your mother would have been proud," Kara said sincerely.

"What do I do now?" Mon wondered.

"You still have me to fight with and there are so many other gods in this universe that need to get their asses kicked," Kara assured him.

Millions of Parademons took flight no longer having a master and went out into the universe to reign havoc. Kara and Mon eyed the swarms of Parademons with some concern. "Well...shit," Kara realized.

"We should leave," Mon suggested.

"Yeah, I think you're right," Kara agreed.

The two disappeared and went back to Earth.

Author's Notes: Justice League Snyder Cut had enough new footage to create an entirely different narrative with Invincible, Godzilla V Kong, and Avengers Infinity War thrown in. The plot twist from the Season 6 finale is that Kara had switched places with Karina to stay with Alex. This is referenced by Saturn Girl's final remark before going back.
