Adventures of Supergirl 7x18
8th Circle
Kara and Jeremiah traveled the length of the sixth circle. Despite the circles being less in length, Kara felt a heavier burden from her cross. The tortures and imagery of hell were also getting to her. "So, there's this story, alright, a story about a frog...and a mouse," Kara began. "And the mouse wants to cross the stream and asks the frog for help. The frog, being a total asshole, agrees because he wants to drown the mouse. But the mouse is no fool. He's worried he'll fall off that frog's back. So, the frog suggests that they tie themselves together at the foot. When they get to the middle of the stream, the frog dives down to drown the mouse but then a hawk grabs them both and takes them away," Kara said.
"Alright," Jeremiah allowed.
"So...so there," Kara concluded.
There was a long awkward silence. "Don't you want to know what animal represents what?" Kara asked.
"No," Jeremiah shrugged.
"Fuck you, man. If you were still around when I was fifteen, you could have told me that story," Kara said resentfully.
"You still on about that? I gave you a good solid year," Jeremiah told her off.
Looking down, Kara suddenly noticed shades walking about in the chasm. "Holy shit. I didn't even notice these guys," she said startled.
"Head on a swivel," Jeremiah reminded her.
"Fighting...the good fight...Kara?" one shade from below asked.
"Fuck yeah, I am. Wait, who are you?" Kara asked.
The shade was covered in a glittering beautifully colored cloak but he was barely able to move. He was hunched over as if the cloak weighed a ton. Kara then noticed who the shade was. "Master-Jailer?"
"Is that what they still call me?" he wondered. "I was sent here after you killed me for hypocrisy. I know now that everything I did in my life was a perversion of justice. I sinned every time I condemned a sinner. Now, we're all here in this hell."
"We were so much alike. Why couldn't we have worked together?" Kara asked sympathetically.
"I never knew how strong you were. It would have been an honor to be your lieutenant and fight by your side against all of your foes. It's not your fault, Kara. I was in the wrong years before you knew me," Carl said.
Carl then fell to the ground unable to walk and keep up the conversation. The other hypocrites were about to trample him when Kara intervened by dropping into the chasm. "Hey, just go around," Kara ordered the others.
"Worst hypocrite of them all," they muttered at Kara.
"Repent, Kara, before it's too late," Carl warned.
"I'll start now by saving you. Forgive me, Carl," Kara said as she zapped him with her cross. Kara then struggled to get back out of the chasm. Jeremiah reached for her hand and brought her back up.
"You're getting heavier," he warned.
7th Circle
Stark continued to fire on the cabin destroying his own zombies at the same time. The cabin began to blast apart and then collapsed. John and Alex took cover behind the cabin wall still standing. "Why are you even doing this for me?" Alex questioned. "Don't you think I should be damned?"
"If you're damned, I'm damned, too," John pointed out. "Do you really believe you deserve to be a fucking tree with Harpies tearing your limbs off and a deranged demon shooting your body full of holes?"
Alex gave him an uncertain look. "Alex, look around you. You won't be a tree and then fall into a blissful sleep for all eternity. You will be tortured endlessly and forced to remember all of your sins. No one deserves that," John told her.
Alex looked around and saw trees cry out as they were blasted apart by Stark's pistol blasts. "They're suffering because of me."
"No, it's because of me," John said obviously.
Alex then turned her pistol to John's head. "Fuck me," John realized.
8th Circle
Kara and Jeremiah made their way to the seventh circle and found shades, snakes, and other odd creatures. Kara instantly recognized Pamela Ferrer aka Menagerie, a thief. She became bit by a snake and then slowly her body began to morph. She cried out in pain and horror as her lower extremities were crushed into a snake tail. Likewise, her arms and shoulders were crushed into her sides, her skin erupted in scales, and her skull pushed out into that of a snake. The snake that had bit her then became Pamela with the same painful experience making it impossible to know which one was the original. As soon as their transformations were complete, they reversed themselves.
Kara then saw a man painfully transform into a hat and a hat transform into a human. In both cases, Kara had killed them a few years back without giving them the chance to repent. Other thieves in the circle also went through the gruesome transformation with snakes swarming the ditch. "Kara, go away. Don't see me like this," Pamela said to her as she began to transform once more.
Snakes attempted to interrupt their meeting. Kara slashed up the snakes as they approached forcing them back. To give Pamela some relief, Kara slashes every snake that was around her. "That won't make it better," she moaned and then caught on fire. Kara backed away startled as she burned to ashes and then suddenly reappeared. Her body was no longer her own, being stolen by the snakes on the ground in a total mockery.
"I'm sorry," Kara said to her. "I absolve you," she said softly zapping her into the cross. She then quickly zapped Hat as well. The snakes swarmed her position as if to protest her action. Kara backed away and was then pulled back up by Jeremiah.
1st Circle
Mon briefed the Super-Friends on the situation with Alex and where he was the last time he saw Kara and Jeremiah. "We have to distract hell to give Kara and Jeremiah a chance," James reasoned.
"I'm ready to fight again," Mon said eagerly.
"We will have an army this time," Lena said. "The only issue is getting past the Wall of Dis at the sixth circle."
"The demon of the sixth circle was not defeated. He's very dangerous and ruthless," Kelly said referring to Ulquiorra.
"What's the alternative? Sit on our asses while Kara and Jeremiah fight Lucifer?" Winn asked incredulously.
"We have no choice. We must take the fight to them," Nia said resolved. "I just wish I could know the future."
"We have to have faith," James said seriously.
"All hands in," Lena requested. James, Nia, Winn, Kelly, and Mon joined with Lena.
The limbo army assembled was in the hundreds of thousands, the largest army put to the field. They wore armor, helmets, and shields from various cultures and time periods. They were spearmen, swordsmen, archers, and catapult men. With the demons out of commission, the army was unmolested as it was forming up. Not needing food, water, or other supplies, the army was ready to move. Although immortal, they could suffer horrible injuries from the enemy.
As if daring them to invade, the hurricane storm below limbo moved just slightly to give them free access to the third circle. "Looks like they know what we plan to do," James figured as the storm moved away from the cliffs.
"We have lost the element of surprise. We must move quickly before our opponent can mobilize," Mon said seriously.
With the Super-Friends in the front, the limbo army proceeded towards the Wall of Dis.
7th Circle
Alex brought John towards Stark at gunpoint. The Harpies, zombies, and wolves backed off as she approached Stark. "How do you think this is going to go? Tell me," John scoffed at her.
"John Constantine...the boss, himself, has special plans for you," Stark smirked. "His weapons, throw them aside," Stark ordered Alex. She proceeded to throw his shotgun and pistol aside.
"His cross," Stark ordered. Alex handed the cross over to him. "What kind of souls could you be looking to absolve? I'm going to send them right back to where they belong."
"Go ahead," John goaded him.
Stark gave John a curious look and then pointed the cross to the open field where the cabin had been. "I...condemn," he said to the cross. Immediately, all the Insane warriors that Mon had absolved reappeared.
"The fuck?" Stark wondered as he saw an army of Insane shades in front of him. He immediately raised his two pistols and deal with them as they charged him. John suddenly took out his Spear of Destiny from his coat and stabbed Stark in the back with it. Stark gasped out in pain and then fell to the ground dumbfounded. Alex threw John his shotgun. Immediately, he pointed the shotgun at Stark's face and blasted him with fire. As the flesh was burned away, only his skull remained. John then blasted his skull to pieces.
"Nice work," John complimented Alex. "There must still be good in you after all."
"Absolve us...now," Rhea ordered John.
John looked over the Insane army apprehensively. He never approved of Mon absolving his Insane kin, but they did assist him to defeat Stark. Mon had given him this cross with the intent he would keep the souls in the cross safe. "Fine," John relented and then zapped them all back into the cross.
8th Circle
Kara and Jeremiah made their way to the 8th circle where they found false counselors to kings, popes, and modern-day leaders. They were perpetually in flames where their whole bodies burned. The shades there danced in the flames unable to escape it. The flames roared so intensely it was impossible to see who they were, totally hidden from sight.
Within short order, they came to the 9th circle for the sowers of discord. There, shades were compelled to walk around a circle where a demon would eventually slash them to pieces with a long sword however he pleased according to their sins. The shades would then have the choice of remaining in agonizing pieces on the ground or becoming whole again and walking the circle once more for another slashing. Kara saw shades with heads and limbs hacked off. Even with mortal injuries, the shades continued to walk the circle until they were whole and slashed up again. Some would carry their heads in their arms while they went on their way. Then, there were shades that had their guts sliced open, spines exposed, or gaping holes in their necks. It was like being on a Medieval battlefield with mutilated bodies all over the place.
Kara recognized Maxwell Lord walking around with his head in his arms. "Max?" Kara asked horrified. "
"I'm not surprised to see you here," he said scornfully. "Are you so powerful to avoid the demon's blade?"
"I'm still alive," Kara said softly.
"You here to scoff at me and give me an 'I told you so'?" Max asked bitterly.
"No," Kara shook her head.
"Never could I imagine God's wrath and cruelty towards sinners. I never meant to be a sower of discord. I just wanted to do the right thing," Max said tearfully.
"I know you did," Kara said sympathetically.
"You had to do what you had to do to keep your sister safe. I just wished...I could have known of this," Max said.
"In 1984, I saved your grandfather out of guilt for killing you...but I know now it wasn't sufficient," Kara said shaking her head.
"Nothing is sufficient when eternity is involved," Max replied.
"You're right. I absolve you," Kara said zapping him. Kara then saw other shades familiar to her. "Oh, God," she said as she saw Astra and Non approaching the demon's blade.
5th Circle
The limbo army made haste towards the Walls of Dis. As they traveled across the fields, they found the areas completely abandoned as if hell had pulled back all of its shades behind its own walls. With no resistance so far, the limbo army discovered that even the Styx River was empty of shades. As before, Winn parted the river so the limbo army could cross and continued its advance. Once on the other side, the limbo army parked itself between the Styx River the Walls of Dis. The Super-Friends then approached the wall and found the hole in the side already repaired.
"May the Lord of the Black Land come forth! May justice be done upon him!" Mon shouted towards the gate.
8th Circle
Kara watched horrified as Non came forth towards the demon. He gave a look of defiance just before he was slashed to pieces. On the ground, his body parts squirmed in pain and attempted to come back together again. Astra then came forth with a weeping expression and bowed her head as she accepted her fate. The demon came down to slice her when Kara blocked him with her own sword.
"By what reason do you stop my blade?" the demon asked pissed off.
"Kara," Astra said amazed.
Kara disarmed the demon and then slashed him to pieces. "You cannot stop our punishment. It is what we deserve for sowing discord and division. I led an insurrection against my own planet and then attempted to seize Earth. I created division within my own family, sister against sister, aunt against niece," Astra said.
"I know you did," Kara said sorrowfully. "I should have shown you my true power instead of baiting you into fighting me. I should have listened to your warnings. I should have negotiated a truce, a compromise. Instead, I let them torture you. I let you get killed by my sister's blade. And even while you were dying on the ground, I still mocked you. I put all of my hate against my mother onto you and it wasn't fair to you."
"Your sin does not forgive mine, little one," Astra said sadly.
"So long as I know you're in hell because of me, my own faith is weakened. I cannot fathom being in heavenly bliss knowing what is happening to you here," Kara said shaking her head. "Are all the Kryptonians from Fort Rozz here?"
"Yes," Astra nodded.
"I am Kara Zor-El. Come to me now. I command you," Kara said in Kryptonian. Shades gathered around in the chasm, some of which were horribly disfigured from the demon. "I'm sorry that killing you was my first resort...when it should have been my last. I absolve you all," Kara said and then zapped them all with her cross. Astra gave Kara a beautiful smile before she disappeared into Kara's cross. The pieces of Non came back together and also disappeared into Kara's cross.
Immediately, Kara felt an awful weight on her. She panted with effort as her cross became significantly more heavy for her. Suddenly, Kara lost all control of her body. She took her sword blade and placed it to her neck. A black-skinned demon then approached. He was tall, muscular, bald, and wearing a white suit. This was Zommari, the demon of this circle. Kara struggled against his control but it was no use. Zommari had imprinted onto her head and now she was his.
6th Circle
The Walls of Dis finally opened after a long wait. Ulquiorra came out and calmly walked towards the Super-Friends and the limbo army alone. "My master, Lucifer the Great, bids thee welcome," Ulquiorra said with false sincerity. There was a long awkward pause between both sides.
"Is there any in this rout who has the authority to treat with me?" Ulquiorra asked insultingly.
"We don't come to treat with Lucifer, faithless and accursed," Lena replied. "Tell your master this. The armies of hell must disband. He is to depart these lands, never to return."
"Oh, Lena. I have a token I was bidden to show thee," Ulquiorra said and then opened a pouch. He threw Kara's head at Lena for her to take. Lena stared at the lifeless head completely stunned with it in her arms.
"No," Winn shook his head in disbelief.
"Silence," Lena said to everyone.
"No way," James shook his head.
"Shut up everyone," Lena said about to have a nervous breakdown.
"The Kryptonian was dear to thee, I see. Know that she suffered greatly at the hands of her host. Who would have thought one so beautiful could endure so much pain? And she did, Lena. She did," Ulquiorra taunted.
Mon casually walked up to Ulquiorra. "And who is this? The heir of the Jin-Saiyan? It takes more to be a king than a Roman blade," Ulquiorra mocked. Mon quickly beheaded him with his ax.
"I do not believe it. I will not," Mon declared to the others.
Demon serpent dragons then flew over the Wall of Dis as a million-strong Hell's army marched forward from all of the circles. "We must retreat," Lena said stunned upon seeing the size of the army.
"Yeah, I think you're right," Mon agreed.
The limbo army pulled back in an orderly retreat back to the city. The Super-Friends followed with them even as the dragons harassed them by tearing up dozens of soldiers at once. Lena fired arrows at the dragons forcing them back. Ulquiorra's body picked up his head and put it back on his shoulders. He halted Hell's army as the limbo army made their escape across the River Styx.
"I will give them true despair," Ulquiorra pledged.
7th Circle
The forest suddenly became alive as every tree became uprooted and began walking towards limbo. Harpies also took off towards limbo abandoning their usual position. John and Alex stared as trees were compelled to assemble with the rest of Hell's army. In quick order, the forest was no more.
"What is happening?" Alex asked.
"Nothing good," John figured.
Alex then felt her feet take root in the ground. "John, it's begun," she said fearfully. John merely stared as Alex's toes and feet became like roots and dug deep into the ground so she would never be able to walk again. Her legs became dark and started to resemble bark. At the same time, Alex's fingers stiffened and could no longer move.
"I'm staying with you," John assured her as she continued to transform.
8th Circle
Zommari turned his attention to Jeremiah as he approached. "I take it you consider yourself a Christian. I am Zommari, the demon of this circle. Is this woman special to you? Yes, I understand now, daughter," Zommari said as he read Jeremiah's mind. "I know your name but I'd like to have you tell me all the same."
"Suffice to say, I am your enemy," Jeremiah denied.
"Do you intend to attack? Know this, if you intend to save your daughter, don't bother. It's no use. You won't succeed," Zommari told him.
Jeremiah went for an attack with his sword only for Zommari to speed behind him. Jeremiah twirled around and clashed with Zommari's sword. "As I expected, Christian, your speed and reaction times are outstanding. Your fighting instincts are also superb. However, as developed as they are, they're only at a human level. Of all the demons, I am the fastest. So fast, in fact, that I can create after-image clones of myself. Yes, you may think of it as playing with magic. Magic is a skill that astounds the observers so don't think yourself a simpleton if you're amazed by what you see," Zommari said respectfully.
"I don't need to rely on magic," Jeremiah replied and then slashed Zommari across his torso. He then quickly slashed several clones of Zommari trying to reach the correct one. The real Zommari then snuck up behind Jeremiah.
"So long, unnamed Christian. Your defeat was caused by the arrogant act of not stating your name," Zommari scolded but then realized Jeremiah was also gone. "What the fuck?"
"Do not fret, demon. Your arrogance will not be your undoing although you will taste defeat. The reason is simply a difference in power," Jeremiah said boldly.
"What a funny thing to say. I'm arrogant? Now, what makes you say that? You are an enemy but also a Christian. The fact of the matter is that I consider you to be my equal and I have conducted myself in that manner. I am not an arrogant being. You are very rude. It explains things, that your arrogance is part of the nature of your being. Very well then. I shall crush your pride along with your body," Zommari said.
Zommari then went into a squat and transformed himself. His lower extremities inflated into a large bulb and his chest and neck became armored. His body was now full of eyes, fifty of them. "Your left leg now belongs to me."
Jeremiah looked down and noticed his left leg was now marked. "All things are subject to control in this life. Subordinates are under the control of their superiors. The masses are under the control of their kings," Zommari explained.
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a daughter, but that woman can also claim herself, and only then does that woman start to play her own game. However one is played or by whom, their soul is in their keeping alone. Even those who presume to play you be kings or men of power when you stand before God, you cannot say 'But I was told by others to do thus or that virtue was not convenient at the time.' This will not suffice," Jeremiah replied.
"Well said, Christian," Zommari said impressed. "But why do you think to say this to me?"
"I said it for her," Jeremiah said referring to Kara still paralyzed in place.
Zommari then forced Kara to engage Jeremiah with her sword. Jeremiah easily disarmed Kara of her sword and took her to the ground even without being able to move his left leg. Zommari then targeted Jeremiah's left arm.
"Under the circumstances, you only have your right arm and your right leg. Your handicap must now be realized even for you," Zommari taunted.
"The difference in our power is as wide as heaven and hell. Even without my left arm and left leg, we are far from equal," Jeremiah replied.
"As you may have noted, I have used only two eyes to control your two limbs and one eye to control your daughter's head. I have a total of fifty eyes on my body. That's fifty joints I can control at once to turn you into a pretzel if I so desire. So, who is the arrogant one now?" Zommari asked.
Jeremiah simply allowed his sword to hit the ground. Immediately, flames roared around him. An army of skeletons emerged from the ground all on fire. Their bones were black in appearance. "Fifty? I've killed far more and now their corpses belong to me."
"What the fuck is this?" Zommari wondered and then activated all his eyes at once. It wasn't enough as the army descended upon him and started to stab out his eyes. Kara and Jeremiah regained their limbs as the eyes were punctured and covered. "Lucifer! Help me!" Zommari cried out as he was being sliced up. "What makes you think you're so special, human? What gives you the right to look down on us. We were made of fire while you were made of dirt."
Jeremiah made no reply and simply slashed across his torso with his red-hot blade. Zommari then turned to ash on the spot. Jeremiah cooled down his blade and dissolved his skeleton army. Kara struggled to get back to her feet. "That was pretty badass," she complimented.
"I know. Let's continue," Jeremiah told her.
1st Circle
The army of limbo quickly retreated back to their fortified cities. Reinforcements from around the broad circle of limbo were called in. Ulquiorra led Hell's army on a steady march to limbo to punish them for siding with the Super-Friends. The citizens of limbo quickly fortified the castles and mansions in the cities. The serpent dragons harassed the city and tore at the guard towers. The limbo archers fired on the serpent dragons to keep them at bay. Giant cross-bows fired at the serpent dragons hitting one of them. The dragon's side was torn open with guts spilling out and then crashed down into the pit.
The Hell's army climbed up the cliffs bottlenecking their numbers. The limbo archers fired a rain of arrows and catapults launched fireballs at them as they came up the cliffs. Ulquiorra rose from the cliffs and eyed the limbo army. The arrows merely bounced off of him. In his hands, he powered up a green arrow of his own and fired it at the walls of limbo creating a large hole. Creating another large arrow, he fired at the limbo army creating a large explosion that incinerated tens of thousands instantly.
"We have to preoccupy him," Kelly stressed to the others.
The Super-Friends rushed to engage Ulquiorra. As they came closer, Ulquiorra raised the ground to create a plateau around them. Hell's army went around the plateau and proceeded to engage the limbo army with far greater numbers. The limbo army fired arrows and catapult firebombs non-stop at Hell's army creating mass casualties. Hell's army was made up of shades from all the circles not trained nor organized in any fashion. The professionally-led limbo army kept them back for a time.
Ulquiorra ignored the Super-Friends and powered up another arrow. Mon engaged him just as he fired off the arrow. The arrow missed the limbo army but created a blast equivalent to a nuke going off. The explosion blinded the battlefield and created a windstorm. Mon sliced off Ulquiorra's arm to prevent him from creating another arrow. Ulquiorra swatted Mon away and quickly regenerated the arm.
"Provide support-by-fire while the rest of us take turns with this guy," Winn said to Lena.
Mon came back at Ulquiorra with his ax. Ulquiorra formed a staff to block Mon and throw him off. After Mon had several turns with Ulquiorra, Winn engaged with his lance. With each Super-Friend taking their turn, Lena looked for an opening and occasionally fired on him. Even with Ulquiorra regenerating from every wound, the Super-Friends were keeping him occupied.
8th Circle
In the tenth and final circle, Kara and Jeremiah encountered falsifiers and fraudsters. There, he saw shades in a state of disease from gangrene, leprosy, and itching so intense that shades would tear into their flesh. The stench of decaying flesh was also beyond comprehension. Kara identified Mercy and Otis Graves among the crowd and felt pity for them.
"Had I not failed Lex, you would not be here," Kara said to them both. "I absolve you," she said zapping them both. Kara panted fatigued from the weight of her cross. "That's the last ones," she promised Jeremiah.
"I'll hold you to that," he said disapprovingly.
In front of them now were giants acting as guardians for the ninth circle of hell. Although chained to the ground, they were close enough to each other to block their path. As they attempted to do so, Jeremiah made his sword red hat and sliced at each one of them. Immediately, they began to burn and turn to ash. "I'm sorry. You're badass. I shouldn't have come. I'm just a liability," Kara said to Jeremiah.
"Kara, I need you more than ever," Jeremiah assured her.
"Well, okay then," Kara said nervously.
Jeremiah's red-hot sword suddenly lost its power as they entered a cold forest. The trees were made of pure razor-sharp ice crystals blocking their way to the center. Jeremiah and Kara used their swords to slice up the trees and break them apart as they made their way. Past the frozen forest, they found shades frozen in ice up to their waists. These shades shivered uncontrollably and their teeth chattered. Some of them were spaced apart while others were very close to one another. These were the shades who had betrayed kin, guests, country, and God.
"You betrayed your aunt. You're going to be fucked like the rest of us," one shade accused.
Kara proceeded to kick the shade in the face. "Why would you do that?" the shade complained.
"I'm sorry. I didn't see you there," Kara mocked.
"Bitch," the shade spat.
"What's your name, bitch?" Kara demanded.
"No, fuck you," the shade refused.
"That wasn't a request," Kara said and then began to pull on the shade's frozen hair to get an answer out of her.
"I don't care if you rip my scalp off, bitch," the shade resisted.
"Fuck it," Kara said giving up. She then noticed the shade in question was Faora and several criminal Kryptonians she had killed. They had escaped the Phantom Zone after the Battle of Metropolis years later only to be killed by a teenage Kara years ago. She had never given them a chance to repent. She gleefully killed them all even as they tried to negotiate a truce with her.
"I have to," Kara said to Jeremiah.
"Do what you have to do," he allowed.
Kara frowned and then zapped the criminal Kryptonians from the ice. As they continued, Kara found two shades closed to each other trying to bite into the back of each others' heads. Kara identified them as Zod and Jor-El. "No way," Kara doubted. She turned to Zod and took a squat next to his face. "I know why you're here, asshole. But why are you here?" she asked Jor-El.
"I betrayed my planet, my race, by sending Kal-El to Earth. I disagreed with the Council's conclusions and I sent the planet's codex to Earth. For my treason, I have been sent here. Now, I take my vengeance upon this man who tried to kill my son," Jor-El said.
"I call bullshit. No fucking way," Kara doubted.
"It's true. He's a fucking traitor to our race," Zod accused.
"Even if that were true, you should be in the Kryptonian district where you died," Kara refuted.
"My spirit came with the key that was in Kal-El's possession. Then, this asshole deleted my programming sending me to this district," Jor-El said pissed off.
Kara began to doubt this was bullshit as it seemed more plausible now. "I don't believe this is just," Kara said. "It can't be."
"You weren't there when the planet was destroyed," Jeremiah allowed.
"No, I can't believe it. I won't allow this!" Kara said. "I absolve you," she said and then zapped Jor-El. Due to Zod being in close proximity, he was also zapped at the same time. "Well...shit. I didn't mean to do that," Kara admitted.
The two continued onward with frost on their breath. Kara was slowed down considerably from the weight of her cross. The shades in this inner circle were frozen and in contorted positions. Walking further still, the shades got deeper and deeper into the ice until even their mouths were under. The tears of these shades had frozen blinding them. As the cold wind picked up, the two finally came upon a throne in the middle of it all. Jeremiah put his compass away. They had found their destination, the throne of Lucifer. The throne was frozen and held up in the air by three frozen shades, two on the side, and one in the back. In front of the throne were frozen stairs. In the throne, itself, was him, Lucifer.
1st Circle
Ulquiorra threw Mon, James, and Winn off of him while deflecting Lena's arrows. Nia went for an attack with her whip sword only for Ulquiorra to take her by the throat. "No man can kill me," he told her.
"Fuck you, dude," Nia spat completely fed up with his bullshit.
Kelly then stabbed Ulquiorra to the heel forcing him to stumble. Kelly went for another stab to end him. Upon stabbing him a second time, nothing happened. "You were expecting something?" Ulquiorra mocked as he got back up.
"Yeah, I kind of was," Kelly frowned.
Nia wrapped her whip sword around Ulquiorra's staff to keep him still while Mon slammed his staff with his ax. James then came down with his shield to attack from above. The hit made no impact on Ulquiorra. "Did you really think you could crush me?" Ulquiorra mocked. Mon continued his assault only for Ulquiorra to cut off his right hand. Ulquiorra then slashed Nia to the back dropping her.
Winn went for an attack with his lance outstretched. Ulquiorra dodged the attack easily and slashed him to the midsection dropping him. Lena fired on Ulquiorra only for him to dodge the arrow and have Kelly hit instead. In quick succession, Ulquiorra sliced up the Super-Friends with his staff and then went back to focusing on the battle. "It's time this loophole, this theological hypothesis was put to rest," Ulquiorra said of the limbo army and cities.
