So, this is a shorter story that I am posting so that I can work on this other Klance fic I am working on. I just want the other to be perfect because I really love the idea.
Takes place right between 2-6 and 2-7 (The Ark of Taujeer and Space Mall).
Chapter 1
"I'm so bored." Lance groaned. The team was all siting in the lounge. Pidge and Hunk were working on something. Keith was sharpening his mysterious knife. Shiro was doing push ups. The Alteans were working on something in the ship. Lance was just sitting there. "Then do something productive." Keith told him. "Boring." Lance rolled his eyes.
The princess and Coran walked in. "We could do some more team bonding exercises." Allura suggested. "Like a date?" Lance questioned. Everyone groaned and Allura rolled her eyes. "I was thinking more along the lines of a game. There is this old Altean game where someone asks a question and everyone else has to answer. But if you are caught lying you had to be hung upside down by your ankles for an hour." All the humans looked at her slightly mortified.
Then Pidge had a brilliant idea and smirked. "Or we could play truth or dare." Allura and Coran tilted their heads confused while Keith and Hunk protested. "It's not a bad idea." Shiro said stopping what he was doing. Keith looked at him like he was crazy. This seemed to make Hunk calm down though.
"Nope. I'm out." Keith started walking out the door. "Scared?" Lance teased. Keith stopped and turned around. "You wish." He went and sat back down, determined to prove to this dumbass that he wasn't scared. But he had a bad feeling in his gut for what the others were going to pull. Everyone sat on the couches.
"How do you play?" Allura asked. "One person asks another if they want a truth or a dare. Truth you are asked a question. Dare you are given a task to complete." Allura smiled. "But how will we know if the others are telling the truth?" Coran asked. "Well, normally you just have to go based on trust, but..." Pidge ran to her room and came back with little bracelets. "When someone lies, their heart rate increases. If you put these on I can monitor if you tell the truth or not." Everyone took a bracelet and put it on. Pidge pulled up a screen. Let the game begin.
