Now into his third year on Kamino and life hadn't changed that much, the constant training for all the soldiers had become the norm in his life. Lucas had taken part in a series of assignments in the Citadel which he had completed successfully and graduated from a cadet into a soldier, Lucas couldn't be happier. All the excruciating pain, blood, sweat and anger that made up his daily life over the last two years had finally come to fruition.

A few weeks after Lucas had graduated and the intensity of his training and busy schedule had lessened, giving him the time to recuperate. Now though he was given other responsibilities to take up some of this new freedom, he was to inspect the training of the clone soldiers, however he wouldn't actually be taking part in their training being more of an observer and highlighting mistakes and areas the cadets need to fix and improve.

Lucas continued studying the languages he had decided to learn last year. He had finished learning both of the Mandalorian languages by the end of the second month; it was a language he weirdly had found quite instinctive and had come as a big surprise but accepted nonetheless as another advantage in his ever growing arsenal of skills. The next language he had chosen to learn was Twi'leki next, which he was finding more challenging than he had expected as it also included something called Lekku gestures which he had managed to find out was a way Twi'leks communicated without actually saying anything.

Learning the Pantoran language was perhaps the hardest of them all as the people of Pantoran actually spoke in a variety of different languages which is probably the reason they made their official language the Galactic Basic Standard instead. Lucas had decided to study the highest spoken variant of the Pantoran language feeling it's probably the safest option.

The Togruti language was quite unique as it consisted of trills and long vowel sounds similar to Togruta which were modified with the subtle tremors of the Togruta's head tails also known as Lekku. Togruta was another language that made gestures with their Lekku but differed to Twi'leks which took him some time to navigate his around the two differences and gave him a lot of headaches so Lucas took breaks from learning the language in the ARC firing range where he continued to improve his accuracy and firing rate.

The Mirialan language had so far been the easiest of the three and he had managed to learn the language before he had finished both the languages of the Twi'leks and Togruta. Whilst the language the Zabrak's known as Zabraki he found very difficult and for a very long time he couldn't make any sense of them and had often considered abandoning the project but persevered and had managed to learn some of the language and a vague understanding however very little and admittedly not something to be too proud in. He had also wanted to learn the language Nautila but found it practically impossible as the language had to be spoken underwater and use pheromones so he abandoned it.

Lucas had decided to study the Cathar language Catharese instead of Nautila. The Cathar's language made him feel and sound like an idiot and weird as the language utilises growls, which looked ridiculous from a human and made him look insane to those who don't know the language so Lucas decided to only speak Catharese when absolutely necessary.

Lucas admittedly spent a lot of time in the firing range as the ARCs had a friendly competition going on amongst each other which also included the clone officers from the clone Commander ARC training program. Lucas practiced so much because he wanted to be as good as possible and have the right to be regarded as one of the best soldiers in the clone army. Last time Lucas checked he found himself in sixth place behind Rex, Fordo, Cody, Colt and Bly. Lucas had spent two more days before he had managed to demote Bly to sixth place, taking the clone Marshal Commander's position.

The now 18 year old spent nearly two months pushing his limits and with great difficulty had managed to displace both Colt and Cody. Lucas still wanted to be better but knew it was going to be an immensely difficult challenge to best even one of the two ARC Captains, however Lucas wasn't the type to accept defeat.

Spending time inspecting the clones in both their training rooms and practice assignments in the Citadel, Lucas found it to be quite boring but also knew that it was a necessity and made sense for elite soldiers to oversee the rank and file in the hope of making them into the best soldiers they can be. Lucas found it disappointing how each cadet squad battled in the same style, they lacked both creativity and unorthodox the two things Lucas liked to wield the most on the battlefield.

As usual, Lucas, despite now being free from most of the training, had continued to work on his fitness and physical capabilities as he knew that the more physically capable he was, the greater the chance of successfully completing missions and the greater chance of his survival. Through his own intense and strenuous training regime Lucas had developed a highly muscular and conditioned physique. He now has a great amount of stamina, endurance, durability, strength, speed and agility.

Lucas always liked to test himself regularly to see how far he could get through a training simulation by himself before it would be necessary for him to need reinforcements to complete the mission. Lucas mainly wanted to do this as preparation in the chance that the team he was fighting alongside died and he was left alone to fight until reinforcements arrived. It went quite well until as predictably he was overwhelmed and needed reinforcements, although through practice he had managed to survive slightly longer each time.

Unfortunately Lucas' place in their competition at the firing range was demoted as Cody took his place in third position, Lucas however considered that accuracy in the firing range is greatly different to fighting on the battlefield.
