Narrator: Last time on Sonic Rovers, The Neo-MAS had located and attacked Road Rover HQ with the inadvertent help of Roger, who unknowingly had a tracking device placed on him this whole time. The Road Rovers arrived back to their base of operations, which to their complete shock and horror, was trashed and in ruins. And to make matters worse, they are greeted by their new enemies; the Neo-MAS, who have taken Shepherd and Hubert hostage, demanding the heroes to turn in the chaos emeralds and the remaining shards of the Black Star Emerald, or else they will execute their hostages in cold blood. Left with no other options, the heroes devise a plan to fool their enemies with false imitations of the chaos emeralds and shards. But unfortunately, this plan ultimately backfires on them. As they meet with the villains in the country of Brazil, the villains hand over Shepherd and Hubert, who were both badly beaten by Geist. Worse yet, they instantly recognize the fake emeralds and shards, and decide to end the lives of our heroes. Now the Road Rovers and their allies are caught in a desperate struggle for survival against this new enemy. Can they survive? Let's find out.
[The Rovers and Neo-MAS clash]
Drago: This aught to be fun!
Blitz: I'll shred you to ribbons!
[Mauler engages Exile]
Mauler: Prepare to be put to sleep, husky!
Exile: Nyet! I'm not ready to rest just yet!
Mauler: I beg to differ!
[They grab each other's hands and try to force each other down]
Exile: You are much stronger than you look.
Mauler: Speak for yourself!
[As those two were trying overpower each other Hunter and Huntress were dealing with Sokudo and Soduko]
Soduko: So, you must be Hunter. The leader of the Road Rovers.
Sokudo: And his sister Huntress.
Hunter: A cheetah...
Huntress: The fastest animal on the planet. Or at least used to be.
Soduko: You're speed isn't natural. Ours is.
Sokudo: But now that we're mutated, we're officially the fastest animals on Earth.
Soduko: And for mocking us, you'll die!
[The two cheetahs rush at the two retrievers at alarming speed]
Hunter: Evasive maneuvers!
[Hunter and Huntress were barely able to evade them]
Huntress: So fast...
[They race through the forest in a game of cat and mouse]
Soduko: You think we can't get around?
Sokudo: Stupid dogs!
Hunter: You know what they say? Actions speak louder than words!
Huntress: And that's what we're about!
[Hunter and Huntress race in a random pattern to confuse the two cheetahs]
Sokudo: Is that the best you got?
[The cheetahs are able to keep up with the two golden retrievers despite their best efforts to outmaneuver them]
Huntress: No way!
Sokudo: You can't elude us that easily!
Soduko: So do you want to fight or continue running like the cowards you are?
Hunter: This coming from thugs who push people weaker than them around but can't handle someone stronger? That's cowardice.
Sokudo: Enough talk! Defend yourselves, dogs! YAAAHHH!
[The cheetah attacks Hunter]
Huntress: Hunter!
Soduko: Worry about yourself!
[Soduko tackles Huntress to the ground, who then pushes him off with her foot. The cheetah flips and lands on his feet]
Huntress: Hope you fight better than you can run!
Soduko: *cracks knuckles* Care to test your luck?
Huntress: Luck doesn't exist on the battlefield.
[Huntress and Soduko engage. Meanwhile with Sonic and his group]
Shadow: We've got company.
Sonic: Yeah. I can feel a foul wind blowing.
Connor: But it feels similar to you and Linun, Aurs.
Aurs: Then it can only be one Aisurnadian.
Linun: Senus.
Sonic: Wait... Who?!
Linun: An Aisurnadian, but completely evil.
Senus's Voice: How perceptive...
Shadow: Hmm?! (stands ready)
[Suddenly Purasu, Minasu, Senus, and the Atmos Gang appear]
Sonic: Let me guess, your posse?
Senus: Try your superiors.
Sonic: Yeah right! Superiors my behind!
Aurs: Don't get careless! Those artificial creatures are tougher than they look.
Senus: That is right, my friend. You wretched rodents may be strong enough to take on legions of regular soldiers. But let's see how well you fair off against the Atmos Gang.
Shadow: Wow, what an intimidating name...
Strato: Arrogant fool! You'll eat those words!
Shadow: Just try it amalgamation!
[Sonic's team engages the Atmos Gang]
Senus: Find the girl.
Purasu: Yes sir.
Minasu: Consider her terminated.
[Purasu and Minasu descend to carry out their orders]
Senus: And now to deal with my old friends.
[Senus powers up, and his body glows with a teal and purple aura]
Linun: Here he comes.
Senus: HAAAAHHHH!
[Senus fires a barrage of energy blasts at them]
Linun: Watch out!
Sonic: YIKES!
[They all dodge frantically as the blasts are fired, with resultant explosions occurring]
Aurs: And he's just holding back.
Sonic: As if we needed to know that!
Senus: It wouldn't matter, now hand over the REAL emeralds and I'll sure your ends will be swift.
Shadow: FAT CHANCE! CHAOS SPEAR!
[The energy spears come at Senus but he effortlessly deflects them]
Senus: Defiance is futile. Don't make this harder than necessary.
Shadow: Huh?!
Aurs: We told you, he's very powerful. Apart from Aruma, he's the most powerful Aisurnadian to exist.
Senus: That's right! I'm not the typical weaklings you have faced in the past! Now, feel my WRATH!
Senus launches a blast into the air, which breaks up into multiple blasts which come down like rain.
Sonic: OH CRAAAAAP!
Shadow: Looks like I got no other choice!
[Shadow removes his inhibitor rings and taps into his fullest powers. Inside the Blue Typhoons docking bay, Akito was with Taurus, Tatsu, Topaz, Omega, Vadi, Vida, Kyoko, Ichiro, and the other children and she felt the huge serge of Chaos Energy]
Akito: What is that strong surge of chaos energy?
Maria: That's Shadow tapping into his full power.
Hope: He only does that if the opponent is powerful.
Maria: Then that means...
Topaz: We're dealing with a far more powerful adversary than any we've encountered thus far.
Akito: Still not as horrific as Jaakuna's.
Maria: What will we do?
Purasu's Voice: Oh we got some suggestions.
Hope: (gasps)
Akito: That voice...
[The children look in back of them to see Purasu and Minasu behind them]
Tatsu: Not these two again!
Taurus: Don't you bozos got anything better to do?
Minasu: Cease your chattering celestial spirit. We've got no business with none of you insects. We've come for the purple haired brat.
[The group looks to Akito]
Akito: What do you want with me?
Purasu: Glad you asked.
Minasu: It's quite simple.
Purasu and Minasu: We want you DEAD!
[They come charging at her]
Topaz: Akito!
[Taurus and Tatsu intercept the twins]
Taurus: You'll have to get by us first! (moos)
Minasu: That'll be easy.
Tatsu: Don't underestimate us!
[Taurus and Tatsu do their signature special attacks on Purasu and Minasu]
Purasu: Pathetic!
Minasu: Let's teach them a lesson!
[Purasu and Minasu teleport just before Taurus and Tatsu's attacks could hit them. They appear in back of them and deck them with a punch, sending them flying back]
Akito: Taurus, Tatsu!
Purasu: Weak...
Minasu: Now for our real target.
[Purasu and Minasu walk towards Akito menacingly then suddenly Vadi and Vida stood before them]
Vida: Not so fast!
Vadi: We won't let you!
Purasu: Out of the way!
Minasu: Unless you want to die with her!
Vadi: You'll find that we're not as easy to swat away.
Vadi: *taunts with come here gesture* Let's tango.
Purasu: Fine. Throw your lives away. Won't matter anyway.
[Vadi and Vida engage with Purasu and Minasu, trading punches, kicks, and special attacks onto each other in a quick succession around the room]
Akito: Everybody get back!
Topaz: What about you?
Akito: Don't worry about me! Just do as I say!
Topaz: Okay! Omega, back me up!
Omega: Affirmative. Securing perimeter.
[Back with the battle]
Purasu: These two are much stronger than the celestial spirits.
Minasu: Which will making killing them much more fun.
Vida: Pretty cocky, aren't you?
Vadi: Can you back up your words?!
[Vadi delivers a punch to Purasu's face]
Purasu: That almost hurt. My turn!
[Purasu retaliates with a punch of his own sending Vadi flying into the wall]
Vadi: OOFF!
Purasu: Hah!
Minasu: *to Vida* You're next, lady.
Vida: Try me!
Minasu: HYAH!
[Minasu throws attack after attack that Vida either blocks or dodges]
Vida: *thinking while dodging or blocking* Damn! These guys are tough! Defeating them may not be so easy!
Minasu: HA!
[Minasu leg sweeps Vida then throws her into Vadi]
Vida and Vadi: UGH!
Purasu: And there goes the last interruption.
Minasu: Unless those other pests decide to play savior. Let's just kill them all.
Topaz: Get back! I'm warning you! (points gun)
Purasu: (laughs) Lady, you think I'm intimidated because you point that puny weapon at me?
Minasu: Shooting us is no different from splashing water. No real damage.
[Purasu and Minasu began blasting at everyone]
Maria, Topaz, and Hope: (screams)
Omega: Directive 2; protect civilians.
Purasu and Minasu: (cackles insanely)
Topaz: Omega! Wait!
[Omega ignores Topaz, and charges at Purasu and Minasu]
Akito: No!
Omega: Obliterate.
Purasu: Comply!
Minasu: Execute!
Akito: STOP IT!
[Akito a powerful magical blast at Purasu and Minasu]
Purasu and Minasu: (screams)
Topaz, Hope, and Maria: (gasp)
Purasu: Ugh... Hey!
Minasu: Where did that power come form?!
Akito: What's the matter? You must not be used to opponents who can fight back!
Purasu: So you got us off guard.
Minasu: But you can't hope to beat us.
Akito: Oh can't I? (assumes a stance) Bring it on!
Purasu: Fine. If you want to die, we'll gladly show you the way.
Minasu: We'll make sure your death is slow and painful.
[Akito engages Purasu and Minasu]
Taurus: What a girl.
Tatsu: She's too young, Taurus.
Taurus: Oh... Sorry... *smiles*
Sulea: (sighs)
[Back with the fight between Akito and the evil twins]
Akito: (panting)
Purasu: (grunts)
Minasu: (grunts)
[The three of them trade punches and kicks in a quick succession. Akito manages to land in a few blows onto Purasu and Minasu. But then the twins retaliate with a punch to the face and a kick to the side, knocking her into a wall. But Akito springs to her feet and resumes the fight]]
Akito: (grunts)
[Akito uses her magic aura to power up her body, and delivers crushing blows to Purasu and Minasu]
BAM! POW! SMACK! BASH!
[Purasu and Minasu go flying back into a wall]
Purasu: (groans) Little brat...
Minasu: You're supposed to stay down when we hit you...
Akito: Well sorry to disappoint you! But it takes more than a couple of cheap shots to keep me down!
[She prepares her strongest attack]
Akito: (grunts and powers up) GAAAAHHHH!
Purasu: No, we can't let it end like this!
Minasu: She won't get the best of us!
[They stand up and combine their powers as Akito charges for them with her fists clutched and powered up]
Akito: HAAAHHH!
Purasu and Minasu: You're ours!
[They fire a dark blast of energy at Akito]
Akito: AAAGGGHHH!
[Akito is knocked back after being zapped by the blast of dark energy]
Taki and Noki: Aki!
Sulea: Sister!
Purasu: She put up a good fight. I'll give her that.
Minasu: But nobody gets the best of us.
Sulea: You bastards!
[Sulea claps her hands together then slams them on the floor, then long metal projectiles came at Purasu and Minasu]
Purasu: Hah!
Minasu; Pesky brat!
[Purasu and Minasu deflect the projectiles back at Sulea]
Sulea: (gasps)
The projectiles nearly make impact, blowing Sulea away. Now covered in bruises and scratches, she barely manages to look up at Purasu and Minasu starring her down menacingly.
Purasu: What? Did you think you stood a chance?
Minasu: You're fate was seal the moment we arrived!
[Minasu attempts to deliver the finishing blow by throwing another projectile. Suddenly Fenrir came in front of Sulea before the projectiles did and took the hit]
Fenrir: AAARRRGH!
Akito: MASTER!
Purasu: Well, well, well! Look who decided to drop by!
Minasu: The fleabag!
[Fenrir is seen on the ground bleeding out of his wounds. He groans in agony as he clings to his biggest injury]
Fenrir: (painful groans)
Akito: Master!
Purasu: Let's make them suffer. Starting with the mutt.
Minasu: My thoughts exactly.
Purasu: (evil snickers)
[Minasu charges up a dark energy blast and aims it at Fenrir]
Minasu: Time to put this dog to sleep, permanently... Say goodnight...
Akito: GET AWAY FROM HIM!
[Akito unleashed an incredible surge of energy, she was engulfed in a colorful aura, her hair began flair wildly]
Purasu and Minasu: WHAT THE HELL?!
[She appears before them with a color sphere of energy]
Akito: BEGONNNNNEEEEEEE!
[She fires a huge wave of colorful energy that engulfs both Purasu and Minasu]
Purasu and Minasu: NOOO! IMPOSSIBLE! AAAGGGGHHHH!
[They begin to dissolve and within no time there was nothing left of them]
Akito: (panting)
[Akito fell to the floor losing consciousness and reverted back to normal. The girls race to Akito's side to check on her]
Topaz: Akito!
Hope: Are you alright?!
Akito: Y... Yeah... But... Using that attack... Took a lot out of me...
Topaz: You pushed yourself too much, Akito.
Clarissa: Just relax for now. We'll take care of you.
Akito: (gasp) Master! Oh God, Master!
Clarissa: Don't worry. Your sister is with him.
[They saw Sulea drawing a pentagram in a circle with Fenrir's blood]
Sulea: Here goes nothing.
[She sticks five of her created projectiles into the pentagrams five ends and then Fenrir is covered in a green light]
Topaz: What's happening?
Clarissa: I...I don't know.
[When the light faded away, all of Fenrir's wounds were completely healed, he then sits up right, and looks at Sulea]
Fenrir: (groans) Thank you. I owe you my life.
Sulea: It's the least I can do.
[Sulea comforts Fenrir, and Fenrir holds her hand. Akito and the others come to Fenrir's side]
Akito: Master! Are you okay?
Fenrir: Yes. Now I am. Don't worry, Akito.
Akito: Oh Master! (hugs Fenrir)
Clarissa: Thank heavens.
Akito: I'm sorry they hurt you.
Fenrir: Don't be, Aki. You destroyed them. And now they're one less problem we need to worry about.
Tatsu: I'm sure their demise won't go unnoticed.
Taurus: What makes you say that? Those jerks were completely obliterated! There's nothing left of them!
Unfamiliar Voice: Yes, and Jaakuna will make sure to pay you back.
Taurus: (gasps and grabs axe) Who said that?!
[Everyone looks and spots Shokku and Joruto physically hacking a helpless Omega]
Akito: Omega!
Tatsu: (holds Akito back) No! Don't go near him!
Fenrir: Who are you?!
Shokku: Oh. Forgive us for not introducing ourselves. My name is Shokku.
Joruto: And I'm Joruto. We are Dr. Malice's personal assistants.
Topaz: What are you doing to Omega?
Shokku: Obtaining important data.
Joruto: And we've already obtained it. Thanks to this wonderful robot of yours.
Hope: Data on what?!
Shokku: Oh you'll see.
Akito: Wait!
Omega actives his rocket pack, and flies away.
Shokku: Don't worry, we'll meet again soon!
Joruto: But until then, sayonara!
[The androids left as quickly as they arrived]
Akito: Bastards...
Fenrir: We can deal with them later... Right now we have to warn the others.
Mutt: Uh guys, we got another problem.
Clarissa: What is it?
Mutt: They took the emeralds!
Everybody: (shocked and horrified) WHAT?!
Mutt: It must've happened during the fight.
Fenrir: In other words, this was all a diversion...
Mutt: I hope Sonic and the others are doing better.
[Meanwhile, back with Sonic and the gang, they were still caught in a desperate struggle with Senus]
Senus: Give up. You foolish creatures can't beat my creations.
Sonic: Don't count us out just yet!
Shadow: We can still fight!
Senus: Not for long.
Sonic: (confident) What do you mean?
Senus: Atmos Gang, time to get serious.
Atmos Gang: As you command, Lord Senus.
Knuckles: Come on!
Atmos Gang: Heh heh heh...
They teleport and appear in a circle around the heroes that could still fast]
Tails: They're fast...
Sonic: Not THAT fast!
Astheno: Arrogant hedgehog.
Strato: You'll eat those words.
[Astheno and Strato move faster than the blink of an eye and knock Sonic into a tree]
BAM!
Sonic: UGH!
Amy: Oh no, Sonic!
Sonic: (dizzy) Giant chili dogs... Two giant chili dogs...
Tropo: What a joke.
Thermo: Looks like Jaakuna overestimated these insects.
Astheno: Not much of a challenge. They're much weaker than she gave them credit for.
Strato: And here we thought this would be fun.
Meso: This was a waste of time.
Knuckles: Don't count us out just yet, smart asses!
[Knuckles comes at Meso with a barrage of punches, all which Meso effortlessly blocks]
Meso: Pathetic.
Knuckles: (angry) YOU DARE?! (tries harder)
Meso grabs Knuckles' fist, and crushes it.
Knuckles: (painful grunts)
Meso: Your punches hurt as much as a drop of rain...
[Meso backhands Knuckles, and sends him flying into Sonic]
Sonia: Knuckles!
Astheno: You! *points to Shadow* How would you like to endure some punishment?
Shadow: You'll find that I'm not some ragdoll and just to warn you, compared to my friends, I am not as merciful in combat.
Meso: Is that so? Then quit stalling and show me your so-called awesome power.
Shadow: Fine, you asked for it.
[Meso and Shadow clash]
Rouge: Get him, Shadow!
Sonia: You can do it!
Shadow: CHAOS *warps in front of Meso* BLAST!
[They both were engulfed by pure red energy when it died down Shadow was exhausted but Meso was hardly scrapped]
Meso: Heh heh heh... Useless...
Shadow: What?!
Manic: But that's impossible!
Meso: What? Is that all you've got? Because if it is, then you're really quite pathetic.
Senus: Finish them off.
[Unexcitingly Maria and the others came out to see what was going on]
Maria: Oh my God!
Topaz: Who are they?
Chris: I don't think we want to know.
Meso: You won't live long enough to figure it out. Gang, commence the Storm.
Atmos Gang: Right!
Chris: What? What are they...?
Topaz: I don't want to find out. Quick, back in the ship.
Senus: Get them, my visions of perfection!
Meso: As you wish, my lord.
[The Atmos Gang raise their dominate hand and begin firing numerous streams of energy which come down toward the heroes]
Everybody: AAAHHH!
[They all attempt to dodge but only a few of them were either too agile or too fast to take the full blast]
Sonic: Sonia! Manic!
Shadow: Maria! Hope!
[When the dust settled it revealed that Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Knuckles, Tanya, Tekuno, Zeke, Blaze, Rouge, Amy, Sally, Silver, Marcos, his sister, their future counterparts, David, Hershey, Reynard Jr, Guntiver, Akito, Sulea, Taki, Noki, Taurus, Tatsu, Ichiro, and Kyoko were still standing while everyone else was greatly injured]
Sally: (gasps)
Tails: My God...!
Hershey: How horrible.
[Sonic and Shadow were stunned with anger and shock]
Senus: Looks like these worms are more sturdy than they appear. No matter, one more storm should end their meaningless lives.
F. Marcos: Bastard! (draws sword)
Guntiver: We won't let you, you monster!
[Sonic and Shadow snapped with anger]
Sonic: You ruthless...
Shadow: Heartless...
Sonic and Shadow: FIENDS!
[They were both engulfed in dark energy, nearby the androids who were watching noticing a dark glow emitting from the Chaos Emeralds]
Shokku: What's going on?!
Joruto: This is... The dark... ENERGY!
[Sonic and Shadow assumed their negative forms; Dark Sonic and Chaos Shadow horrifying their friends and surprising Senus and the Atmos Gang]
Senus: W-w-what is this?!
Sally: Sonic?!
Rouge: Shadow?!
[Dark Sonic and Chaos Shadow open their eyes with a menacing glare]
Sonic and Shadow: Not quite.
Sally and Tails: (fearful gasps)
[Things have gone from bad to worse for not only our heroes, but also for the entire cosmos. Sonic and Shadow have given in to the negative power of the Chaos Emeralds, planning to unleash their wrath on their intended targets. And now nobody is safe. What will happen next? Will our heroes be able to stop Dark Sonic and Chaos Shadow from causing even more harm to an already dying universe? Or is this the end of all life as we know it? Find out next time]
