Narrator: Last time, Sonic and Shadow, who were under the influences of the Chaos Emeralds negative energy, had slaughtered most of the Atmos Gang, headed by Senus. And as they continued their rampage, they brought chaos and destruction to the land and to anybody in their way. They turned their attention to the remaining survivors of the Atmos Gang, Senus and Meso. Meanwhile, the MAS dealt with Sleuth Doggy Dog, Sleet, and Dingo with surprisingly little effort. But then they were faced with their successors, Parvo, Groomer, and the Felomutants. But Tozoku the Raccoon dealt with Parvo easily by planting a bomb on his cybernetic arm, which blew him up into a fiery blaze, gravely injuring him in the process. But Parvo and his minions were saved by Shokku and Joruto, the android assistants of Dr. Malice. After that was over, the MAS arrive to the scene to find that their allies, the Road Rovers, were struggling with the Neo-MAS. And so a fierce fight ensued between the two factions. And the MAS managed to deal with their successors rather easily. But the Neo-MAS are saved by Taffi, and they escape. Meanwhile, Meso and Senus take a beating from Dark Sonic and Chaos Shadow, who proceed to take pleasure in torturing their victims. But then they are awakened form their unholy state and return to their senses by Maria, Hope, Sonia, and Manic. But just then, Dr. Psycho and Dr. Malice arrive to the scene and escape with the beaten up Senus and Meso. The Mobians then agree to regroup with the Rovers and the MAS. Meanwhile, Jaakuna has finally managed to get her hands on all of the Emeralds, and now she is only a step away from her ultimate goal. But now she and her followers make preparations to take control of the ARK, where they will restore power to the Black Star Emerald. Stilette volunteers to take part in this diabolical plan, and Jaakuna grants Drago and the others with Artificial Star Emeralds which grant them with great destructive power. What will happen next? Will Jaakuna and her minions be successful to claim the ARK for themselves? Will they succeed? And what about Sonic and Shadow? Has the negative energy truly been eliminated from their souls and bodies? Or is it still inside of them but in a dormant state? Let's find out.
[Inside a ship of Malice's making, Jaakuna was placing the shards in a container with her fragment and Chaos and Sol Emeralds into individual capsules]
Jaakuna: Are we ready for launch?
Malice: Just about, loading up the last of the troops.
Jaakuna: Good.
Eva: These Roger clones better be useful this time.
Psycho: They certainly will, my dear. I have increased their overall strength, speed, stamina, and power level. They're not the same weak clones as before. These clones are actually quite formidable.
Eva: Let's have their actions back that up.
Psycho: Very well. Do I have a volunteer?
[Purlinn pushes Orenji out]
Orenji: Ugh! Hey!
Malice: Perfect. RC No. 108, demonstrate your power.
[Without saying a word, the clone attacks Orenji]
Orenji: Wait a MINUTE!
[The clone teleports behind Orenji, and knocks him into the air. Then he proceeds to hit him multiple times with his knees, and then knocks him into the ceiling with a double kick]
Mauler: Serves him right.
Orenji: (in pain) You... You jerk...
[Orenji falls from the ceiling and lands on his stomach.]
Stilette: My, that was impressive.
Damon: It wasn't that good.
Eva: As if anyone asked you.
Malice: Just like your father...always hard to impress.
Damon: Humph... (crosses arms)
Psycho: I think these clones are ready to begin their mission, Empress... (cleans hands)
Jaakuna: Good, now let's go. We haven't a moment to waste.
Psycho: Yes, empress...
[Meanwhile, back with our heroes]
Vida: It's hard to believe that so much has unfolded in one day.
Vadi: My thoughts exactly.
Drakon: Well at least we got fewer enemies to deal with.
Fenrir: I wouldn't count them out so easily. Their numbers may be few. But we still have Jaakuna to deal with. And she will be a far more dangerous foe than any we've faced thus far.
Drakon: I know that but it might be easier without her two lackeys and those four unnatural hybrids around.
Prowl: Nevertheless, we can't let our guard down. I fear the worst is yet to come.
Vida: He's right, now that she has all the shards and the emeralds who knows how long we have to stop her...
Akito: Time is against us, no doubt. But we can't give up hope. We are strong together.
Vadi: That's right. Calling it quits is not an option.
Hunter: (smiles) You know, your level of confidence is admirable.
Vida: Thanks, most would've considered this foolishness and stupidity.
Colleen: Right. But how is that going to get us through this?
Hunter: It's a strength that we all share in common. Its called positive thinking.
Exile: Da. Think about it, comrades. We've come this far. And we have defeated lots of bad guys together. To give up half way is to accept defeat. And we can't stop now.
Knuckles: He's right, backing out now is not an option. We either face that monster or die trying.
Blitz: But how will we defeat her?
Spot: Yeah! Jaakuna is like the devil himself! Or herself in this case.
Tsunami: The key is not to give into fear. If you show fear, death will come rushing for you. If you do not show fear, you still have a fighting chance.
Vadi: Exactly. Now we're gonna need a fool proof plan.
Rex: How? What's the plan?
Vida: We use what they used on us, divide and conquer but we use the right people to counter them.
Boomer: I'm all for it then. Its risky. But its a risk worth taking.
Sonic: Right on, Boomer. Now you're speaking my language.
Sally: We will fight to the bitter end if we must.
F. Maria: But... There's one problem...
Sally: What is it?
F. Maria: Sonic and Shadow only just now awoke from their evil state. But somehow... I don't think the evil has completely disappeared...
Sonic: We can worry about that later.
Tails: No, Sonic, she's right. What if the evil is still manifesting itself within you guys? You guys are still a potential danger to us and to everybody around you. We have to do something about it before it's too late.
Shadow: That was the negativity of the emeralds, we're fine.
Calina: Better safe than sorry.
Sonic: Look, I told you, we'll be fine!
Calina: How can you be certain it won't happen again?
Shadow: It's not like it was on purpose! Besides they would've killed you all.
Sally: But guys! This is serious!
F. Marcos: And besides, I don't know who was closer to killing us, them or you.
Sonic: You really think we would've done that?!
F. Marcos: Whoa! Chill out, will you!
Tails: Please, calm yourself! We didn't mean it THAT way!
Shadow: Then what are you saying?
Tails: Guys, we're saying that it could still be in you. It may have subsided for now. But it could resurface again. We're only trying to help.
Sonic: We told you we're fine.
Calina: Let me be the judge of that.
[Calina uses her soul search to detect any negative chaos energy]
Sonic: So, what do you see?
Calina: Nothing. Not even a small trace.
Shadow: There. Satisfied now?
Hope: Shadow, don't be hostile. We're all just worried.
Shadow: Sorry.
Amy: So what should we do?
Sally: For now, wait.
Roger: But isn't that dangerous?
Jasper: I'm afraid so. Until the enemy makes their move, we have no other choice. So we'll just have to go with Sally's advice.
Amy: I agree.
[In a separate room, Marcos is seen sharpening and polishing the blade of his sword]
Shira: You really know how to take care of that blade.
F. Marcos: Yeah. This is a very special sword, made from the strongest metal on Mobius. It can cut through even concrete with a single slash. It took some hard training and dedication to master swordsmanship. But now I'm an expert on it.
Shira: Whoever made it must have been a incredible swordsmith.
F. Marcos: According to my father, this sword was made by a wolf named Fredrick. He was originally a knight of the Wolfpack nation. But as he was getting on in his age, he tutored me in swordsmanship, and created a special sword just for me. Which is the beauty you're looking at here. (holds the blade heroically)
Shira: Impressive craftsmanship, I'll say.
Guntiver: That's great and all. But I'm afraid we're going to need more than a sword to win this war.
F. Marcos: Hmm?!
Ripley: He's right. We need to figure how to destroy the Black Star Emerald and soon.
F. Marcos: Humph... (slides sword back into scabbard)
[Back with Jaakuna and her group they were flying toward the ARK]
Malice: Now to transmit the clearance code.
Psycho: (smiles) By all means...
[She does so]
ARK Computer: Access approved.
Psycho: Yes... Yes...
Jaakuna: How long till we board this space station?
Malice: Not very long... In fact, we should be arriving there within the next half hour.
Jaakuna: Good. Make sure everyone's ready.
[Jaakuna looks behind her to see her followers ready with anticipation]
Malice: As you can see, they are anxious.
Drago: You bet we are, missy! Oh I can't wait to pay them back! Especially that brat son of Lupe for messing up my beautiful face!
Enya: Hope you don't mind if I go first though...
Eva: I'm gonna be sick...
Mauler: I want to personally pay back those traitors. For deserting us and for all the past humiliations.
Purlinn: And we will, if these artificial emeralds are as powerful, we'll be able to do just that.
Kaibutsu: They're in for a world of hell...
Tian: As will the people on this space station.
Jaakuna: Be patient, gentlemen. All in good time. Now...
Stilette: Miss, Geist is getting restless.
Geist: Kill them all... Kill them all... Kill them all... Kill them all... KILL THEM ALL!
Jaakuna: Talk about a one track mind.
Malice: I'd say he's just eager to pay them back. But we'll pay them all back.
Jaakuna: His single minded obsession is wearing away at whatever sanity he has left.
Parvo: Oh well, we're almost there...
Jaakuna: Good.
[Meanwhile, back with the heroes. Joe was seen in the rec room practicing his fists and feet on a punching bag. He gives it a few whacks with a left and a right. Then he gives it a few smacks with his tail]
Joe: HAAAHHH!
[Joe delivers a thousand punches and a thousand kicks to the punching bag, and obliterates it with a super roundhouse kick]
Akito: Nicely done.
Joe: Thanks, mate! (bows)
Vlad: My turn!
[Vlad obliterates a punching bag with a single punch. The sand inside of it spreads everywhere]
Prowl: We need stronger punching bags.
Drakon: I concur.
Knuckles: Say, you have some strong fists, Jack.
Joe: Joe, mate. The name's Joe.
Knuckles: Oh sorry.
Joe: So then, you must be... Knuckles, right?
Knuckles: That's right. We didn't get the chance to properly greet each other.
Joe: So what's your story, mate?
Knuckles: Born and raised on a floating island protecting a giant emerald.
Joe: Crikey.
Knuckles: Yeah, it's a big responsibility.
Joe: So, is that all you do, mate? I mean... Don't you have a hobby of sorts? Not trying to sound critical or anything.
Knuckles: Of course I got a hobby! I'm a treasure hunter!
Akito: Whoa! Calm yourself there!
Knuckles: Sorry but I don't appreciate someone questioning my lifestyle, especially when they don't understand why I live it!
Joe: Well sheesh, I'm sorry if I upset you...
Knuckles: All is forgiven...
Tails: Knuckles... I think you overreacted...
Knuckles: Guess so.
[Knuckles walks away. And as he leaves the room, Joe contemplates]
Joe: What's buggin' him?
Rouge: Might be the stress talking.
Tails: Don't take it too personal, Joe. Knuckles always had anger issues.
Sonia: Ain't that the truth?
Manic: Hey, you're dating him.
Sonia: Don't remind me.
Joe: Well, be that as it may, I bear him no ill will. I'm sure he has a complicated history.
Amy: You have no idea.
[Suddenly, the alarm goes off]
Tails: What's that?!
Fenrir: I don't know. But I smell trouble...
Ace: Finally some action.
Akito: We'd better see what the emergency is!
[They head to the bridge and saw Commander Towers on the screen]
Sonic: I don't like this.
Sally: All present and accounted for, Abraham. What's the urgency?
Abraham: We got a problem. The ARK is being taking over.
Sally: By who?
Abraham: See for yourselves.
[Abraham presses on a key, and the monitor brings up the image]
Silver: No...
F. Marcos: You gotta be kidding me...
Rouge: Bastards...
[In the monitors, Geist is seen slaughtering the guards]
Topaz: Oh my God...
[In the halls of the corridors, Geist hacks and slashes his way through the guards. The walls and floors have blood splattered all over them]
Clarissa: Those monsters...
Shadow: That's why they attacked Omega...
Boomer: We must stop them! They'll kill us all!
Abraham: Agreed, but first Topaz I want you to take civilians, especially Maria and Hope to our base.
Topaz: Roger that! You people, come with me!
Chris: But what about the others?
Sonic: We'll be fine, Chris. Don't worry about us.
Shadow: We'll handle those losers. And we'll put them in their place. (cracks knuckles)
[Back on the ARK, Jaakuna was making her way to the core with Sleuth, Drago, Sleet, and Dingo following]
Jaakuna: This Professor Gerald must have been quite a genius to get this whole station for his research.
Drago: Sure seems that way. But I bet he didn't count on us infiltrating it. His security sucks.
Sleuth: Professor Gerald's dead, you idiot. Remember he got executed on Prison Island?
Drago: (sarcastic) Ooh, that's VERY original, Sleuth!
Sleuth: And you are? I've seen lot of dolts with the same narcissistic attitude as you and they've actually made it work unlike you.
Drago: Is that the best you got?
Sleuth: Actually no. I've seen a lot of universal punching bags but none of them have your luck, you've gotten hit in the face so many times I'm surprised you don't have false teeth.
Drago: Says the douche bag who just got owned by a kangaroo!
Sleuth: This coming from the asshole who let himself become a lab rat, what was more humiliating, acting like a pup or a monkey?
Drago: Look who's talking, dickhead. You go on and on talking down to me like you're Mr. Macho Dog. Like you run the show. Well I have news for you, you can make all the petty insults you want. But in the end, you're just as big of a loser and a punching bag as I am. In other words, YOU AIN'T WORTH CRAP, SLEUTH!
Sleuth: And what makes you worth more?! I lead a team which YOU were apart of, so if I'm not worth crap, you're practically nothing!
Jaakuna: Alright, break it up you two! Not even Stilette and Eva bicker this much with each other.
Sleuth: But he started it!
Drago: No you did!
Jaakuna: SILENCE! We have better things to do right now then listening to the two of you squabble like children! Now, let's get down to business...
[Jaakuna, Sleuth, and Drago walk their way down the halls, until finally, they reach a door]
Slee: Hmmm... Looks like this is it. But it says authorized personnel only.
Jaakuna: Too bad. We're not going to wait until morning.
[Jaakuna blasts the door open with a blast from her hand]
BOOM!
Dingo: Crikey.
Jaakuna: Open sesame.
Sleet: I don't get it, why didn't Joruto and Shokku get the access codes to the core?
Sleuth: Guess the commander wanted to keep the core from being reached in situations like this.
Jaakuna: A good attempt, but ultimately futile. Now then, go round up everyone, I need to set up the ritual.
Drago: Yes, milady!
[The four canines gather everyone to the core]
Jaakuna: It won't be long now... (cleans hands)
[Very soon the villains]
Senus: You wanted to see us?
Jaakuna: Yes, I wanted to discuss the diversion tactic. I'm sure you're all aware that our invasion hasn't gone unnoticed.
Senus: Yes, milady.
Jaakuna: Then let's go over the diversion. I assessed the situation and have come up with the best way to stall them. Neo MAS you will handle the original MAS.
Mauler: With pleasure. (bows slightly)
Purlinnn: Consider them executed.
Jaakuna: Good. Now go!
[The Neo MAS head to their designated area]
Jaakuna: Now, as for the rest of you. You know what to do.
Senus: Yes, Jaakuna.
[Senus and Meso disappear]
Jaakuna: Just a little longer and my goal will be within reach...
[Jaakuna gathers the Black Emerald Shards and the Chaos and Sol Emeralds. Back at the Typhoon everyone was saying farewell to the humans]
Clarissa: Please come back safely Rovers.
Hunter: Don't worry Clarissa, with my super luck we'll return home.
[Clarissa hugs Hunter warmly]
Ace: What no love for us?
Clarissa: Hold your horses.
[Clarissa hugs Ace, then Boomer, then Colleen, then Huntress, then Exile, then Tsunami]
Tsunami: Arigato, Clarissa.
Clarissa: Doitashimashte, Samurai.
Blitz: Hey! What about me?
Clarissa: Be patient, macho dog. You're next.
[Clarissa hugs Blitz]
Huntress: Happy now?
Blitz: (tearful) Yes...
Clarissa: Alright whose next?
Shag: (whimpers)
[Shag smothers her]
Clarissa: Awe. Don't worry, Shag. You get some love too.
[Clarissa hugs Shag, who cuddles her warmly]
Muzzle: Don't hog her.
Huntress: Yeah. We need some love too you know.
Clarissa: Oh yes. Of course.
[Shag releases Clarissa, who then hugs Huntress, and then Muzzle]
Roger: Looks like I'm last.
Clarissa: Sorry, Roger.
[Clarissa hugs Roger, and kisses him on the cheek]
Connor: (giggles)
Roger: Hey! (feels cheeks)
Clarissa: That was specially meant for you. (winks)
Spot: What about us?
Duke: There's no time. It's time for the civilians to board.
Mikhail: Da. Hurry, everybody.
Spot: Darn...
Fluffy: No fair...
Clarissa: Don't worry. I wish all of you the best of luck. And guys, you made the right choice when you turned on Parvo and Geist.
Sheng: (smiles) Thank you, Clarissa...
Jasper: Many would consider our mutiny very stupid, but Akito has shown us, being smart isn't the same as being wise.
Joe: (takes Clarissa's hand) Be safe, Clarissa. We wish you and the others a safe trip.
Clarrisa: Thanks, Joe. (strokes his ear)
Akito: And don't you worry. This will be over before you know it.
Clarissa: I hope so, Akito.
Lupe: Hey, Clarissa, could you take our kids with you?
F. Marcos: Say what?! I don't need a baby sitter!
F. Maria: She meant our past selves, moron.
F. Marcos: Oh... Eh, nevermind... (scratches head)
F. Maria: I can't believe we're related.
Lupe: Can you?
Clarissa: Yes, Lupe. I'll take good care of them.
Topaz: What about Aki and her sister and cousins?
Akito: We're staying.
Ichiro: What?! Why?
Sulea: Cause we have a score to settle with Psycho and Geist.
Connor: That's right. Our heroes will need all the help they can get. And if Jaakuna is truly as powerful as they say, then she will be formidable and dangerous. So we're staying behind.
Taki: Besides, me and Noki are not going to let our cousins handle the burden of losing our family alone.
Akito: We're all in this together. And we will stand by our heroes' side and fight until the end. We must stop Jaakuna no matter the cost.
Aurs: Such strong dedication.
Linun: Or determination.
Taurus: Or both.
Tatsu: Definitely both.
Hunter: Very well, Akito. You win. (shakes Akito's hand)
Akito: Thanks, Hunter.
Marcos: Mama, do we really have to go?
Lupe: Yes, son. You and your sister have gotten yourselves into enough trouble as it is. And we have to make sure the two of you are safe.
Marcos: Awe mom...
Lobo: Now, now. No arguments, champ. This is for your own protection.
Maria: Come on, little brother. It's time to go.
Marcos: (grumbles)
Clarissa: Come along now, kids.
Mikhail: Okay. The passengers are all set. Are we missing anybody?
Chris: I think that's everyone.
Duke: Good.
Topaz: Then let's not waste time.
Sally: NICOLE, order the central computer to launch all passenger ships.
NICOLE: Understood. Commencing procedure.
[NICOLE sends a message to the central computer within the Blue Typhoon, and the computer commences the launch sequence. The ships all launch from the hangars and out into space]
Shadow: Take care of them, Commander.
Abraham: Don't worry, they'll be in safe hands. Towers out.
[The monitor on the screen switches off]
Boomer: At least they're safe. That's the good news.
Shadow: Then that will make retaking the ARK much easier, since they won't be in danger.
Guntiver: Yeah. That's a relief.
Roger: As for the bad news?
Shadow: We won't know what to expect.
[Suddenly, a voice on the monitors is heard]
Voice: I'll tell you what to expect!
[Parvo's face appears on the monitor]
Hunter: Parvo!
Sonic: Whoa! What happened to him?
Tozoku: That would be my work.
Parvo: Exactly! I've been disfigured. And it's all thanks to you!
Roger: Well no offense, Parvo! But your face wasn't so pretty to begin with!
Parvo: Not only did I recieve a makeover. But I have been granted with great power courtesy of Empress Jaakuna. And now I finally have the means to destroy you all!
Hunter: Parvo, we always knew you were scum. But we never thought you'd allow yourself to become someone's pet cat!
Huntress: More like a slave.
Parvo: You dare talk down to me?! Well, that will be the last insult you EVER make! This time you'll die! Prepare to meet your doom, Road Rovers! And your allies will soon be joining you! Just so you know, we've taken over the ARK! And now we're a step closer to our ultimate goal!
Shadow: Oh we know, and it won't matter cause we're taking it back one way or another!
Parvo: If your actions are as big as your mouth, then let's see how you stand up against all of us combined!
Shadow: We'll see whose more bark than bite soon enough!
[Parvo's image on the monitor signs off]
Rouge: Hopefully they don't figure out how to use the cannon.
Omega: Attempt impossible. Cannon requires a certain code that only the Commander knows.
Sally: What a relief.
Shadow: Yeah. But don't celebrate just yet. We're not out of the woods yet.
Blaze: He's right. With or without the cannon we still got a fight on our hand.
Sonic: We can handle it. We've gotten this far, no sense stopping now. Now let's get to the ARK! Sally, you take the wheel.
Sally: You got it, Sonic!
[Sally sits in the piloting seat and steers the Blue Typhoon toward the docking bay of the ARK. Can they be able to stop Jaakuna and her colleagues or has their luck run out? Find out next time]
