Narrator: Last time, our heroes had finally made it to the ARK, only to be greeted by the mastermind herself, Jaakuna. She urges them to come after her and to her accept her proposed challenge. On their way to the first trial, they are ambushed by Roger Clones, so Fenrir and the lesser mutants decide to take them on while the others headed out. Despite some difficulty Fenrir and his group managed to triumph. Soon our heroes met up with Jaakuna again to present their first trial; confronting the Neo-MAS and Parvo's gang. The Rovers and the Original MAS decide to step up. And with the timer counting down, our heroes must hurry and stop Jaakuna before it's too late.
[The heroes clash with the villains in a fierce battle, trading all kinds of attacks onto each other in an attempt to subdue or kill each other. It was an all out battle royal between good and evil. And this time there was no turning back from it. Mauler and Exile grab each other's arms]
Mauler: This time I'll tear you apart!
Exile: Not gonna happen!
[Mauler and Exile both growl and snarl at each other as they strain to pin each other down. Mauler knees Exile to the gut, and gains the upperhand. He puts further pressure on Exile's hands. But then Exile retaliates by flipping to the opposite side and straining Mauler's hands]
Mauler: GAH!
Exile: You may be strong. But strength alone is not enough to win battles!
[Exile elbows Mauler, and wails on him. Mauler kicks Exile back]
Mauler: You're quite formidable.
Exile: So are you.
Mauler: That's good though. It'd be too dull if killing you were too easy.
Exile: And you think I will die by your hands?
Mauler: Only one way to find out, mutt!
[Mauler and Exile lunge at each other. Meanwhile, our focus now shifts to the Rovers facing off against Parvo and his Cat Clan]
Parvo: Kill them all! Leave no one standing!
Whiskers: As you wish! (hisses)
Sayuri: Consider these dogs dead.
[Parvo and his goons charge]
Villains: (screams)
Hunter: Let's roll, Rovers!
[The Road Rovers clash with Parvo and the Cat Clan. Hunter tackles Parvo, while Colleen engages Whiskers, Blitz takes on Snowball, and Boomer takes on Midnight]
Roger: Guess we got the jungle cats.
Jinsei: Don't worry, we'll be gentle.
Boomer: Well don't expect us to go easy on you!
Aeron: Good.
Colleen: HIYAAAHHH! Arnold Schwarzenegger!
[Maiyo and Marise dodge her attacks]
Maiyo: Hah! Too slow!
Marise: And loud.
[Marise delivers a blow to Colleen's gut with a punch, and Maiyo kicks her in the back]
Blitz: Nien!
Marise: Shame your outside the barrier Blitzy.
Maiyo: This could've been you.
Blitz: Damn you!
[Roger and Boomer faced off against Akumenji]
Akumenji: So who wants to go first?
Boomer: How about me?!
Akumenji: Fine by me, the outcome will still be the same.
Boomer: Then let's go!
[Akumenji starts doing some flips as she comes towards Boomer]
Roger: Boomer! Watch out!
[Akumenji got close and used her legs to throw Boomer into Roger]
Akumenji: (chuckles) Is that all you got?
Huntress: Then try me!
[Akumenji turns her attention towards Huntress]
Akumenji: You want some of this?
Huntress: Bring it!
[Akumenji starts slashing at Huntress who dodges the attacks]
Akumenji: Not bad!
Huntress: And I'm just getting started.
[Huntress runs around in circles around Akumenji in a quick succession, creating a vortex]
Akumenji: I don't think so!
[Akumenji uses her claws to slice through the wind]
Huntress: What?!
Akumenji: (chuckles) Take this!
[She launches a barrage of air slashes at Huntress who had to resort to dodging]
Huntress: Yikes!
Akumenji: You can't dodge forever!
[More slashes keep coming at her]
Huntress: (thinking) {They're coming down on me like rain! One careless move and I'm done for!}
[Huntress starts dodging as she rushes toward Akumenji]
Akumenji: Huh?!
Huntress: Hah!
[Huntress decks Akumenji right across her face]
WHAM!
Akumenji: URGH!
Huntress: Now it's your turn!
Akumenji: Damn you!
[Huntress knocks Akumenji unconsious with an elbow to the face. She makes a large crater on the ground]
Huntress: (pants)
Boomer: You go, girl!
Roger: Right on!
Aeron: Akumenji!
[Hunter punches Aeron in the face]
Hunter: Focus on us!
[Colleen knees her in the gut]
Colleen: Hiya! JET LI!
Aeron: (vomits on the ground) You'll pay for that...
Hunter: Unlikely!
Colleen: Unless you want some more!
[Suddenly, Whiskers and Snowball appear behind Hunter and Colleen and grab them]
Hunter: Hey! What the?!
Parvo: You forgot about us, mutts!
Colleen: Parvo, you sneaky bastard...
Hunter: Typical, can't fight yourself so you send your troops to do it for you.
Midnight: Shut up!
[Midnight punches Hunter in the gut several times. And then lands a few to his face]
Hunter: You can't silence the truth.
Parvo: True. But that won't stop me from silencing YOU!
Ace's Voice: I don't think so!
[Suddenly, Parvo is bombarded with a barrage of punches and kicks. And then a final strike hits him and knocks him on his back]
Parvo: Who did that?!
Ace: Guess who!
Parvo: Oh, it's the Invisible Mutt.
Ace: Invisibility is not all I got.
Groomer: Well show yourself, coward!
Ace: That's rich coming from the likes of you.
Groomer: Why you... Shut up!
Ace: Look behind you!
Groomer: Huh?
[Suddenly, Parvo and Groomer are hit by two powerful fists]
Ace: Howse that?!
Parvo: I'll... Kill... You...
Ace: (stomps on Parvo's head) Unlikely.
[Our focus is now on the two MAS groups]
Joe: HAAAHHH!
Mauler: (snarls)
Sheng: (snarls)
Purlinn: (roars)
[Sheng and Purlinn engage]
Sheng: Think you can handle me, big boy?
Purlinn: We shall see!
Sheng: Then come at me silver back!
[Sheng slashes his claws wildly. But Purlinn dodges and as Sheng lunges for him, he punches the tiger in the gut]
Purlinn: And I was told you were fast.
Sheng: (coughs) Don't underestimate me... TAKE THIS!
[Sheng foot sweeps Purlinn, tripping the brute. He hits the floor]
Purlinn: I'll make a rug out of you.
Sheng: (resumes stance) You sure talk big.
Purlinn: Then let my fists speak for me!
[Purlinn starts swinging at Sheng but the tiger dodges but Tian intervenes]
Tian: SEI!
Tian decks Sheng in the air with a flying kick. He lands on his back.
Sheng: (growls)
Tian: Hello, Sheng. Remember me?
Sheng: I wish I didn't.
Tian: How cold. Is that anyway to treat your cousin.
Sheng: We are not related! (assumes pose)
Tian: Keep telling yourself that, cuz. (assumes pose)
[Sheng and Tian enage each other. Purlinn tries to intervene, but Drakon stops him]
Drakon: I don't think so, monkey boy!
Purlinn: (growls) I'll tear you apart!
[Drakon and Purlinn engage]
Drakon: Step off!
Purlinn: Drop dead! *Drakon tail whips Purllnn* (grunts)
[Drakon body slams Purlinn]
Drakon: That all you got?
Purlinn: Why you wretched...
[Our focus is now on Joe, Tozoku, Kaibutsu, and Lockjaw]
Lockjaw: Gonna rip you up good traitors.
Joe: (kicks one leg three times and assumes pose) I don't think so, mate!
Tozoku: Don't underestimate me, fish face. (assumes stance)
Kaibutsu: Prepare to die!
[Tozoku vanishes. But then his voice is heard]
Tozoku: Kagetouzan! (Shadow Blade Slash)
[He throws a barrage of shurikens]
Kaibutsu: Iron skin!
[Kaibutsu hardens his body]
TING TING TING TING TING TING!
Joe: Crikey!
Kaibutsu: Mudada! (useless!)
Tozoku: Then try this!
[Tozoku appears behind Kaibutsu. He grabs him by his waste, jumps up high, and slams him head first onto the ground. His head goes into the ground, and Tozoku backflips. He lands on his feet]
Kaibutsu: (grunts)
[Kaibutsu tries to pull his head out]
Lockjaw: (roars)
[Lockjaw charges Joe, who reacts by delivering a powerful kick to his gut, knocking him back into a wall]
Joe: You know, charging directly at me only leaves you open to attack. And all your size does is slow you down.
Lockjaw: I don't take advice from deserters!
Joe: Oh well... (shrugs)
Lockjaw: (snarls)
[Suddenly, a voice is heard]
Female Voice: Hey, handsome...
[Joe turns around to see its Enya, who kicks him in the gut]
Enya: Why don't you try picking on someone your own size, pouch boy.
Joe: So you wanna fight, lady? Fine, but don't expect me to hold back.
Enya: Let's tango!
[Joe and Enya engage, she blocked or dodged every punch kick the kangaroo sent her way]
Joe: (thinking) {Crikey! This girl's good!}
Enya: This all you got? Guess being with that brat has made you weak.
Joe: I'll show you weak!
[Joe hops up then slams down sending a shockwave at Enya]
Enya: Oh hoh hoh...
Joe: Want some more?
Enya: Yes. I want more. Come on, baby. (does come here gesture)
Joe: Be careful what you wish for!
[Meanwhile with Vlad, Jasper, and Raptor they were dealing with Soduko, Sokudo, and Eva]
Vlad: (roars and charges)
[Vlad slams his arms down sending waves of ice at them]
Sokudo: Heads up!
[The cheetahs easily evade it]
Eva: I'm fired up now!
[Eva punches the incoming ice, causing it to melt]
Raptor: What the?!
Jasper: Vlad freeze the water!
Vlad: Oh! Right!
[Vlad uses his cryokinesis and freezes all the water around them, covering the floor in thin ice. Sokudo and Soduko begin to slip]
Sokudo and Soduko: WhoawhoawhoawhoaWHOA!
Jasper: It's go time! Ready Raptor!
Raptor: Let's do this!
[Jasper and Raptor started skating toward the cheetahs ready to attack]
Soduko and Sokudo: NOOOO!
[Jasper bunny kicks Sokudo while Raptor assaults Soduko with a series of punch combos]
BAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAM!
Raptor: Take that you mangy furballs!
Jasper: Ahem?!
Raptor: (chuckles) Present company accepted...
Jasper: I thought so.
POW!
Joe: Ugh... You're tough, girl. I'll give you that.
Enya: And you're pretty sturdy yourself, marsupial.
Joe: You know, I ain't got nothing personal against ladies. But you're hardly lady like.
Enya: I can live with that.
[Enya assumes a pose, and charges up her dark ki]
Joe: Awe wankers.
[Enya teleports behind Joe]
Joe: The hell?
[Enya gives Joe a knee to the chin. He gets knocked back]
Enya: What's wrong, baby?
Joe: I think it's high time I stopped playing nice.
Enya: Oh? What you gonna do about it, pouchy?
Joe: You'll see. HAAAHHH!
[Joe powers up his ki, and an orange and yellow aura glows all around him]
Enya: Oooh.
Joe: Now, let's rock, mate!
[Joe tail whips Enya]
WHIPASH!
Enya: Aah!
Joe: Come on! That can't be all ya got!
Enya: You will suffer!
[As the two continue fighting, and trade attacks with each other. They both land blows onto each other. But Joe gains the upperhand.]
Joe: One! (punch) Two! (punch) Three strikes! (somersault kick) You're out!
[She went flying toward Eva who dodged]
Eva: Try me then.
[Tozoku blocks her]
Tozoku: No, tango with me, witch.
Eva: Fine, you can burn first.
[Eva's fist get consumed by flames]
Tozoku: Ikuzou! (poses and powers up)
Eva: I'll reduce you to ashes.
Tozoku: Ninpo Senpuu! (Ninja Whirlwind!)
Eva: Burning pillar!
[The two attacks collide. Cancelling each other]
Tozoku: Not bad...
Eva: I know other flames.
[Eva creates a blue flame in her right hand and in her left a green fire]
Tozoku: Impressive.
Eva: You think that's impressive? Wait til you see what they can do!
[Eva throws the blue fire at Tozoku who barely manages to doge it, but the end of his scarf got frozen solid]
Tozoku: Na... Nani?!
Eva: See? My blue fire works like liquid nitrogen, will freeze anything within seconds. And now it's time I showed you what green flame can do.
[Eva throws the green at Tozoku who dodges and when it hit a machine it started to dissolve]
Tozoku: Shimatta!
Eva: I got other flames too, such as this!
[Eva launches a pink fire and when it hit the ground, it created an explosion]
Joe: Toz!
Eva: Hah hah hah! Got you!
Tozoku's voice: Don't be so overconfident...
Eva: Grrr! Where are you?
[Tozoku appears behind Eva]
Tozoku: Koko da. (Right here.)
Eva: What?!
[Tozoku strikes a pressure point on Eva's body that paralyzes her]
Eva: AGH. Wha... What did you do to me?! I... I can't move!
Tozoku: Now... Feel the sting of total paralysis.
Eva: Damn rodent!
Tozoku: Correction, raccoons are not rodents. They're predators...
[Tozoku knocks out Eva with a chop to her neck]
Eva: (grunts)
[She drops unconscious]
Tozoku: Sweet dreams.
[Back with Prowl he had overpowered Purlinn]
Prowl: Give up Purlinn, it's over!
Purlinn: No! I won't rest until all humans are dead!
Sheng: You want humans eradicated? Then you're no different than that lunatic Geist!
Purlinn: Says the hypocrite!
Sheng: Shut up!
[Sheng foot sweeps Purlinn. And as he gets up, Sheng elbows him in the face, knocking him back]
Purlinn: You can't deny your bloodlust, tiger. Once a killer, always a killer.
Sheng: Liar!
Purlinn: It's no lie! Think back to your oldest memories! You know I'm right.
[Sheng flash backs to when he killed a few hikers prior to his mutation, and when he killed several canomutants during his training]
Sheng: That's not me anymore! I regret taking those lives.
Purlinn: Oh do you?
Sheng: Yes. I'm a changed tiger.
Prowl: And we all have changed.
Joe: Yeah! We're no pawns to some low down blokes!
Purlinn: (turns around to see Prowl and Joe)You!
[The gorilla charges at Prowl, who counters him with a punch to the gut, followed by a powerful double kick from Joe]
Joe: Take a seat!
Purlinn: I don't understand. Why are you fighting against us, against Psycho? He gave you power and this is how you repay him?
Vlad: Just because he gave us power doesn't mean we owe him anything. He used us just like he's using you.
Purlinn: IS that purple haired brat any different? All humanity knows is deception and betrayal, how can you expect them to accept you when they can't even accept each other?
[Everybody pauses. And suddenly, they are grabbed from behind by the other Neo-MAS members]
Tozoku: Akito has shown even humans can be opened minded.
Mauler: Don't be delusional! Humans can't even make peace with themselves.
Lockjaw: Why stick your necks out for them when they'll just turn against you on a whim?
Raptor: Like the people you work with are any better. They couldn't be honest if their life depended on it.
Mauler: Kick their asses!
Tian: Gladly.
[The Neo-MAS proceed to mercilessly wail on the MAS as they are restrained]
POW!
Prowl: UGH!
WHAM!
Joe: URGH!
SMACK!
Sheng: UGH!
BAM!
Vlad: OOHH!
Mauler: (chuckles) Painful, huh? But that's only a tiny sample of the punishment we shall bestow upon you.
Tozoku: Don't count us out yet!
[Tozoku teleports out of Sokudo's grip. And then he reappears on top of Lockjaw's head]
Lockjaw: Get off!
[Lockjaw tries to grab Tozoku, who immediately eludes his advantage, and throws a smoke bomb down on the ground. The smoke spreads throughout the area]
Tian: (coughs)
Prowl: Now, everybody!
[The MAS use this chance to take down the Neo-MAS]
Prowl: HAH!
Sheng: GROWL!
Vlad: ROAR!
Joe: TORYAH!
BAM! POW! SLASH! GASH! WHAM! SMACK! CRASH!
[The Neo-MAS are knocked unconscious. And as the smoke settles, the MAS are seen standing victorious over their adversaries]
Joe: Whew... Guess that takes care of that...
Sheng: Thanks, Tozoku.
Drakon: Let's destroy those knock off emeralds.
Tozoku: Right. Let's get to it.
[They grab the emeralds and put them in a pile]
Drakon: Alright Vlad, smash them.
Vlad: Gotcha, comrade. (groans and growls)
Hunter's Voice: Hey wait!
Vlad: Huh? (turns around)
[They see the Rovers show up with Parvo's artificial emeralds]
Boomer: Good to see you guys doing alright.
Roger: Yeah. Hope you don't mind if we drop in.
Joe: Not at all mate.
Jasper: And you can add those rocks you got into the pile.
Hunter: Then by all means, let's do so.
[The Rovers add the emeralds they gathered into the pile]
Muzzle: Let me help you, Vlad.
Vlad: Ready?
Muzzle: Ready.
Ace: Let's back up.
[Everyone backs up and the powerhouses charge up energy into their fist]
Muzzle: 1...
Vlad: 2...
Both: 3!
[They punch the emeralds completely obliterating them]
CRACKLE! CRUNCH!
Exile: Nicely done, comrades.
[Vlad and Muzzle dust off their hands]
Muzzle: Whew. That was easy enough.
Tsunami: Yeah, way too easy.
Joe: What do you mean? At least we got rid of the emeralds!
Drakon: Use your head. Jaakuna's stalling us.
Everybody: What?!
Drakon: Think about it. The emeralds wouldn't be that easy to destroy, would they?
Boomer: He's right. Even though they were fake they were still fragile.
Roger: Awe man... So you're saying we went through all that for nothing?
Huntress: It would seem that way, but we don't have any alternatives.
Raptor: So what else can we do?
Drakon: For now we need to regroup with the others if we can.
Prowl: Right. I just hope the others are okay.
Joe: We just have to have faith, mate.
Hunter: Come on, let's hit it the road!
[The Road Rovers and the MAS all proceed together in hopes of finding their allies. But this has been but a small victory in our heroes' path, for another battle is about to begin elsewhere. And what about the others? What challenge will they face down the road? Time is running out. And the fate of the universe hangs in he balance. Find out what happens next time on Sonic Rovers]
