Narrator: On the last episode, Drago Wolf, who had previously been defeated, was reformed by Jaakuna into a hideous mutated monstrosity with power far exceeding his previous form. But due to his massive ego and stupidity, Drago was easily defeated by the heroes. Drago begs Jaakuna for another chance. But Jaakuna, having had enough of Drago's failures, banishes him for good. And now that all the other villains including Geist and Drago have been dealt with, Jaakuna is now the only one left standing. The heroes all join in the fight. However, Jaakuna proves herself to be far too powerful and formidable for most of the heroes to handle. And after being pushed back with little effort, Jaakuna sets her eyes on only the most powerful heroes to challenge her. She chooses Akito, Connor, Sonic, and Shadow to challenge her. And so the final battle commences. And each of the heroes give it their all. But so far, even their most powerful attacks do little damage to the evil sorceress. Jaakuna demonstrates a tiny sample of her power, which overwhelms the four heroes. They have some close calls. But thanks to Akito and Connor's abilities and durability, they show Jaakuna that they don't go down so easily. Unfortunately, things take a turn for the worse, as Jaakuna's minions, Purasu and Minasu, sacrifice their lives to restore the Black Star Emerald and sent it to her. And now the situation has become more desperate and dire. The universe grows darker by the moment, and the fate of all life across the cosmos hangs in the balance.
Jaakuna My precious emerald. Oh, how I've waited for this day.
Sonic: What's she doing?
David: Who cares? We got to stop her!
[The heroes all charge at Jaakuna]
Jaakuna: Fools...
[Jaakuna powers up her aura. The force is so great that it pushes everybody back]
Shadow: Damn it... How are we going to stand a chance against her?
Akito: We need a different plan.
Connor: Okay. So what's the plan, Aki?
Akito: Sonic and the others can distract her while they get the emeralds.
Sonic: Sounds like a plan! Let's do it!
Shadow: Show no mercy!
Jaakuna: Hmm?
[Sonic and Shadow start dashing around her]
Jaakuna: Seriously? This game again?
Blaze: With a twist.
[Blaze sets the twister on fire]
Jaakuna: What?!
Akito: Now's our chance, Connor!
Connor: HYAAAHHH!
[They rush to gather the emeralds]
Akito: Hurry!
Connor: I am, I am!
Jaakuna: Fools! You can't stop me! No one can stop me!
David: That's what you think!
[Everyone formed a circle and held out the emeralds as they restored their power]
Jaakuna: They're returning power to the emeralds. But how? They were drained!
Sonic: There's more than one way to use them, witch!
Jaakuna: You...
Sonic: Let us show you what positive energy can do!
[The Mobians assume their super forms]
Shadow: HAAAAHHH!
Sonic: HAAAAAHHHH!
Blaze & David: HAAAAAHHHH!
Sonic: Alright, everybody! Let's do this!
Jaakuna: Bring it on!
[They all dart off at her faster than the speed of light. And then they all swarm all over her like fire flies in the sky. They deliver heavy blows to her, harder than any asteroid out in the universe. Jaakuna tries to swipe at them with her claws. But she misses. They deliver more blows to her as they run into her and make impact.]
BAM! POW! SMASH! CRASH! BOOM! CRASH! BASH!
Sonic: I think we're dealing some damage!
Shadow: Then let's keep it up!
[The heroes continue to assault Jaakuna as they deliver more devastating blows while moving faster than the speed of light. But Jaakuna becomes annoyed]
Jaakuna: The flies begin to annoy the beast...
[Jaakuna freezes time, and everybody holds perfectly still like a screen shot being paused. Then, she takes advantage of this and wails on everybody with a powerful aura blast. The blast pushes everybody away]
Shadow: (shakes head) What the hell?!
Sonic: How did she do that?
Jaakuna: Don't think I'm so easy to overcome... I'm done playing games now...
Akito: This wasn't a game to begin with, Jaakuna!
Jaakuna: Quite right. And now your journey ends HERE!
[Jaakuna powers up, and summons a shower of dark energy plasma blasts which rain down on the heroes]
Connor: LOOK OUT!
[Connor brings up a barrier shield which wards off some of the blasts. Sonic dodges the blasts as fast as he could. And Akito shields herself and her friends with her own barrier]
Jaakuna: Hah hah hah! You can't hold out forever!
Sonic: (while dodging the blasts) Whoa! Yipe! That's smarts!
[One of the blasts hits Blaze]
Blaze: AAAGGGHHH!
Everybody (except Jaakuna): BLAZE!
[She falls on her back]
Jaakuna: Hah hah hah hah hah hah!
David: Damn you!
[Akito and Connor race over to Blaze]
Connor: Blaze, are you okay?!
Blaze: (weak) I... I think so...
Akito: Let me heal your injuries.
Blaze: I'll be okay... You're going to need all the strength you have to defeat Jaakuna...
Connor: But they need your help too.
Blaze: But you have the best chance of stopping her... Please, take my power...
[Just as they were about to David soon join Blaze's side]
David: Come on Blaze, you can't give up now! We need your help, your soul is an eternal flame!
Akito: Let me heal you.
Jaakuna: I don't think so!
[Jaakuna summons a barrage of lightning]
CRACKLE! BOOM!
Akito: Look out!
[Akito grabs Blaze, and everybody scatters in all directions as the lightning comes down]
Connor: Oh come on!
Akito: She's relentless!
Connor: No kidding!
Jaakuna: (laughs maniacally)
[Jaakuna then summons acid rain which pours down on everybody. Some of the acid drops on Sonic's shoulder]
Sonic: Hey! OW! Wha... What's this?!
Shadow: Its acid! Don't let it touch you! OW!
Akito: That might be hard!
Connor: It might not be!
Blaze: H... How?
[Connor creates a barrier to shield them from the acid]
Sonic: Nice going, pal!
Jaakuna: That won't save you!
Connor: You think so? Take this! COSMIC WIND SLASH!
[Connor surrounds him arm in a teal aura before lashing it at Jaakuna, making a successful strike]
Jaakuna: What?!
[Jaakuna takes considerable damage from Connor's Cosmic Wind Slash]
Akito: My turn!
[Akito charges her aura up as well]
Jaakuna: Now what?!
Akito: REIGN OF THE HEAVENS!
[Akito fires a frenzy of holy light beams at Jaakuna that rain down like arrows. Some of them hit Jaakuna, causing considerable Damage]
Jaakuna: (screams)
Akito: Take that you witch!
Jaakuna: (cackles) Yes, this is what I've been looking for!
Akita: Okay, this is starting to get weird.
Connor: What's even happening?
Sonic: I don't want to know...
[Jaakuna's aura explodes once more]
Connor: I think she has been simply absorbing our energy...
Jaakuna: That's right, puny insects. And now I shall use your own energy against you! Like… THIS!
Shadow: The hell?!
Sonic: LOOK OOOUUUT!
Jaakuna: HAVE A TASTE OF YOUR OWN MEDICINE!
[Jaakuna blasts out a gigantic blast of energy from the palms of both hands]
Akito: Everyone, get behind me and Connor!
[They all get behind Akito and Connor]
Connor: You got a plan Aki?
Akito: Sorta.
Sonic: What do you mean sorta?! (notices the blast) IN COMING!
Akito and Connor: DIVINE BARRIER!
[Akito and Connor summon a barrier shield many times more powerful than the usual. And as the blast wave hits, it pushes them back]
Shadow: How long will this hold?
Sonic: Don't know. But I don't think it will last long...
Shadow: Then we'll have to make time.
Akito: (groaning) We've... Got to... Win...
Connor: Hang in there, Akito!
Akito: (groaning) I'm... Trying...
Jaakuna: How cute. And how utterly futile! HAAAHHHH!
Shadow: It's now or never, Sonic. We got to use Chaos Control.
Sonic: Right! Let's go!
Jaakuna: What are they up to now?
Sonic: You'll find out real soon! Here goes!
Akito: Go for it, guys!
Sonic & Shadow: CHAOS CONTROL!
Jaakuna: GAAHHH!
[The colors around the two hedgehogs invert]
Shadow: We got 30 seconds let's make it count!
Sonic: Then let's make it count! COME ON!
[The two hedgehogs charge at Jaakuna relentlessly assault her with various attacks]
BASH! BASH! BASH! BASH! BASH! BASH! BASH! BASH! BASH!
[After 30 seconds had passed Chaos Control had worn off and Jaakuna was covered in scratches and bruises]
Sonic: Hah hah! How do you like THAT, Jaakuna?!
Akito: You did it!
Connor: Yeah!
[Jaakuna stood up]
Jaakuna: That actually hurt, guess it's time to kick it up a notch.
Sonic: W... What?!
Shadow: Oh no...
[Jaakuna raises her hand up and a black beam of energy shot down from her feet and engulfed her entire body]
CRACKLE! CHOOM!
[Everybody covers themselves as the aura becomes intense]
Sonic: Awe man! I don't like the looks of this!
Connor: What's going on?!
Akito: She's using the emerald to access the rest of her power!
Shadow: Wait... She's... Transforming?!
Sonic: Looks like it...
[As the aura begins to settle a little, the heroes all look to see Jaakuna standing before them. But she was now transformed. Her skin is now lavender and her whole body appeared to be covered with scales. Her lips were now dark blue her hair is white as snow and slick back. Her eyes were red with yellow irises. She has now what appears to be wings coming from her forearms and from her back four long spider legs with sharp ends]
Jaakuna: Behold my new and improved form!
Akito: And I thought she looked freaky before.
Sonic: Now I've seen everything. This really takes the cake.
Jaakuna: I may not win any beauty contests. But I'm sure to give you a run for your money. You kids ready for round 3?
Akito: Ready and waiting!
Jaakuna: Well then... SO BE IT!
[Jaakuna throws a barrage of fire balls which then break up into multiple fire balls]
Shadow: WHAT?!
Connor: There's too many of them!
Blaze: Then let's fight fire with fire! Flaming Claw!
[Blaze's hands go up in flames and she starts slicing through the fireballs and absorbing them]
Connor: REKKA KEN! (FIRE FIST!)
[Connor starts punching out the fireballs Blaze didn't get, obliterating them with a single blow]
Shadow: You have to do better than that if you want to defeat us!
Jaakuna: Then how's THIS?
[Jaakuna uses her magic cast a gigantic black shadow on the ground where our heroes stand. Then strange hands made from her own aura come out of the shadows and grab at the heroes. Sonic tries to avoid it. But the hands stretch out and grab him as well]
Sonic: Hey, let go!
Shadow: (grunts) What the?!
Connor: (struggles) They have... Such a tight grip!
Jaakuna: That's the least of your worries.
Akito: Huh?!
David: Why does that make me uneasy?
Jaakuna: Not only are you helpless, but those hands will drain the life out of you!
Connor: W... What?!
Sonic: (struggling) No! NOOO!
[The hands begin to drag them under. Jaakuna laughs]
Akito: No, I refuse to die this way! CHAOS FLASH!
[Akito's body glows brighter than the sun, and obliterates the shadow and the hands restraining her. Her aura causes then sets the others free. But half of their life force has been drained]
Shadow: So Weak... (falls on his knees)
Sonic: Can't... Keep... Going...
Jaakuna: Surely this isn't all you got.
Akito: *collapses* You... You haven't won yet... We will never give up!
Jaakuna: Such foolish pride. It will do nothing to save you now!
Connor: (groans) (thinking) {Concentrate... Focus...}
[Connor starts centering his Aisuranda life force]
Jaakuna: Huh?
Connor: (thinking) Okay... Now...
[Connor starts glowing brightly illuminating his allies]
Shadow: Huh?
Sonic: What's this?
Akito: I don't know... But I feel... Revitalized!
[They all look towards Connor]
David: Connor, are you doing this?
Connor: Yes. But that's not important now. Come on! We must stand up to her!
David: How? Every time we wear her down she hits back harder!
Sonic: Then there is only way left.
Shadow: Yes. Sonic, you and I have to go Hyper.
Sonic: Then let's do it!
David: But you need the Super Emeralds and without the Master Emerald that can't happen.
Shadow: We have to at least try or we're dead!
Jaakuna: Oh? I'm interested. Please, show me this Hyper form you so graciously boast about.
Sonic: You'll get your demonstration soon enough! Come on, Shadow! It's now or never!
Shadow: Right!
[The two hedgehogs revert to their normal forms. Back with the heroes, Knuckles felt the Chaos Emeralds]
Knuckles: What is going on?
Calina: Sonic and Shadow must need your help. The Master Emerald's essence flows in you, you must help them go hyper.
Knuckles: I'll try. *clears his head and closes his eyes* The servers are... The Seven Chaos...Chaos is power... Power enriched by the heart... The controller is the one who unifies the chaos. *opens his eyes* (thinking) {Emeralds assume your super form!}
[Back with Sonic and Shadow the Chaos Emeralds start glowing and increase in size]
Shadow: Do you feel it?
Sonic: I sure do. Let's go Hyper!
[Sonic and Shadow used the Super Emeralds and changed to their hyper form, their fur turned clear white and were surrounded with an aura that was changing color]
Jaakuna: So your fur goes white and you shine like rainbows. Not impressed.
Sonic: Just watch. HYPER FLASH!
[Sonic vanishes with a flash of light and in an instant Jaakuna was getting viciously assaulted]
Jaakuna: UGH! URGH! AUGH! OOFF!
Akito: Wow... He's moving so fast...
Connor: And he hit so hard...
David: With that strength, they could obliterate Earth's moon...
Shadow: Better not miss out. Chaos Flash!
[Jaakuna continues to endure more punishment from Sonic and Shadow in their Hyper forms]
POW! BAM! SMASH! CRASH! BOOM! SMACK!
Jaakuna: (painful grunts)
Akito: Keep it up, guys!
Connor: You're winning!
Sonic: Let's give it to her, Shadow! A left and a right!
Shadow: And from below! CHAOS SPEAR!
[Shadow attacks Jaakuna with a barrage of super charged Chaos Spears which impale her and explode on contact. Sonic turns himself into a buzzsaw, and repeatedly slices through her]
Jaakuna: AUGHHH!
Sonic: And now the grand finale!
[Hyper Sonic rams Jaakuna while she is stunned, sending her into the ground]
Jaakuna: (groans)
Sonic: Hah! In your face, Jaakuna!
Shadow: Not so tough now, are you?
Jaakuna: (cackles)
Sonic: Huh?
[Jaakuna blasts Hyper Sonic into Hyper Shadow, sending them both back. Jaakuna raised her emerald upward and it starts glowing]
Jaakuna: Not bad, hedgehogs. I'll amit you almost had me there, but now I play my ace in the hole.
Shadow: What?!
[Jaakuna slams the emerald into her chest, it starts sparking wildly and then proceeds to power up in a column of violet and magenta light]
(split screen)
Everybody: WHAT THE HELL?!
[The light died down and Jaakuna now had an indigo scaly body with the emerald embedded in her chest, her hair was sticking up, her lips were blood red, her eyes were black with yellow irses and coming out her back were huge were demonic wings]
Connor: (horrified) Oh my God...
David: (horrified) Oh crap... We're in trouble now...
Sonic: No, we're not giving up! We'll keep fighting until our last breath!
Jaakuna: Hah hah hah! Then enjoy the few moments of life you have left! For this will be your final day!
Shadow: We're not dying here, lady! Not to you!
Jaakuna: Enough talk! DIE!
[Jaakuna casts a spell that causes the scenery around them to blacken. And everybody becomes dizzy and disoriented. They begin to see thing]
Akito: What is this?
Connor: Dizzy...
David: Dis... Disoriented...
Blaze: Nauseous...
Jaakuna: (chuckles)
[Jaakuna strengthens the effect. And our heroes begin to hallucinate]
Shadow: Whose there?!
Voice: Shadow... Shadow...
Shadow: Maria?
Maria: Yes. It's me.
Shadow: Maria!
[Shadow runs towards what appears to be Maria. But as he comes within close range, she transforms into Black Doom]
Black Doom: My son...
Shadow: What the hell?!
[Black Doom grabs Shadow in his massive arms and laughs maniacally. All while Shadow struggles to break free. Meanwhile, back with Akito]
Akito: (disoriented) Mom... Dad...
Voice: Akito! Akito! Is that my daughter?
Akito: Mom? Is that you? Where are you? I'm scared!
Mother: Don't be scared, my baby. Daddy and I are right here.
[Akito looks to her left to see her mother and father before her]
Akito: Mom… Dad… But how? You… You're both dead…
Mother: No, my dear. We're just fine.
Father: We've missed you so much, my daughter.
Mother: We've been looking for you for such a long time.
Father: Come, Akito. Let's go home now.
[Akito began to trust what she was seeing. And so she got off her knees and ran to what appeared to be her parents. But then, just as Akito was nearing them, her parents transformed into Dr. Psycho and Dr. Malice]
Psycho and Malice: (evil laughter) SURPRISE!
Akito: HUH?! YOU?!
[Psycho and Malice both grab at Akito]
Malice: (laughing) Foolish little girl! You fell for it!
Psycho: (laughing) Come with us, daughter! You must be tired and exhausted!
Akito: Let me go! You're not my parents! Let go of me!
Psycho: Remember the day your parents were murdered!
Malice: Remember the pain that was inflicted on you that day! All because of Typhoon and Serena!
[Akito begins to see flashbacks to her past. She sees horrible images of the day her parents were murdered by Typhoon and Serena by the orders of Dr. Psycho and Malice. To this, Akito begins to break out in tears]
Akito: *in tears* No! NO! NOOOOO!
[Akito struggles to break free but to no avail. Meanwhile, back with Sonic]
Sonic: *dizzy* Akito? Shadow? What's… What's going on?
Voice: Sonic! Sonic! Help me! SONIC!
Sonic: Tails? Where are you, little buddy?!
Tails: I'm right here!
[Sonic looks to where Tails' voice was, and saw Tails being held prisoner by Eggman and Walter Ixis Naugus]
Sonic: Eggman?! Naugus?!
Eggman: Yes, Sonic! He's right here! Come and save your two-tailed friend if you can!
Naugus: He's waiting for you, blue boy! Come and get him!
Sonic: You… You monsters! You let him go!
Eggman: *sarcastic* So, hit a nerve, did we?
Naugus: If that upsets you so much, then why don't you come and teach us a lesson?
Sonic: I WILL THEN!
[Sonic races towards the villains to rescue his friends. But then, Eggman, Naugus, and Tails all transform into monsters]
Monsters: (growling and snarling)
Sonic: HUH?! WHA…WHA…WHA… WHAT?!
[One of the monsters grabs Sonic with its tentacles]
Sonic: LET GO OF MEEEE!
[As Sonic struggles with his own nightmare, our focus is now on Connor]
Connor: Mom… Dad… Please don't leave me…
[Suddenly, Connor hears a sinister chuckle echoing through the darkness]
Voice: Heh heh heh heh heh…
Connor: (gasp) *thinking* {I know that voice… Could that be…}
[Suddenly, Geist appears out of the shadows]
Geist: Surprise!
Connor: Geist! You again?!
Geist: Surprised to see me? Remember this face, little boy! I am the monster who killed your mother!
[Connor sees a flash back of Geist slitting his mother's throat with his combat knife, followed by her body dropping lifelessly on the ground before him]
Connor: You…
Geist: Yes. That memory shall be imbedded into your subconscious for the rest of your life! You can't hide from the pain! It's all around you! Now suffer! And watch as I bring chaos and terror to the entire world!
Connor: No! I hate you! I won't let you hurt anyone else! I HATE YOU!
[As the heroes are driven mad by their hallucinations, Jaakuna begins to absorb the hatred and the fear emitted from
Jaakuna: How disappointing. Surely this can't be all you got! Perhaps I should put you all out of your misery.
[Jaakuna prepares a giant energy bomb. Meanwhile, back with the others. They were feeling the immense power surge emanating from Jaakuna. So much that the Blue Typhoon begins to shake]
Joe: WHOA!
Taurus: What in the holy cosmos was that?!
Vadi: Its… It's …
Spot: Come on! Out with it!
Fluffy: Yeah! Spill the beans already!
Vadi: It's … Jaakuna…
Exile: What about Jaakuna? What's going on?
Vadi: She's winning...
[Everbody is horrified]
Everybody: (shocked) WHAT?!
Hunter: But how?! How is that possible?!
Vida: It seems your friends have fallen victim to one of her most dangerous techniques; the Nightmare Illusion Feeder.
Huntress: Nightmare Illusion Feeder?!
Roger: What's that?!
Vida: It's a technique in which she searches deep into your soul and forces you to see your darkest fears. And as the rage and fear emanates from you, your energy starts to fade away. And in the process death becomes eminent.
Rex: *scared* Oh no…
Fenrir: Is there anything we can do?
Vadi: No… I'm afraid not… The situation has grown darker by the moment…
Prowl: But there has to be something we can do! There just has to!
Vida: We're sorry. But there isn't. All we can do is hope and pray that your friends will not lose this battle.
Joe: *praying* Akito… Connor… Good luck, my friends… May God be with you…
Amy: *praying* Oh Sonic… Shadow… Please don't give up… We're all counting on you… Don't give up…
[Meanwhile, back with the battle against Jaakuna]
Akito: No... I can't...
Connor: You'll pay, Geist!
Shadow: You used me, you monster... I hate you... I HATE YOU!
Sonic: Tails... No... NOOOO!
Jaakuna: Guess I overestimated you lot, I was really hoping you could finally liberate me.
Akito: (panicked whimpers)
[Suddenly, Akito hears a voice]
Voice: Don't ever give up, my grandchild.
Akito: Huh?
[Time appears to stop. And as the scenery around her blackens, the ghost of Akito's grandmother appears before her]
Akito: Grandma!
Madam Aruma: Akito, remember what I have tought you. Doing one's best is all anybody can do.
Akito: Grandma... I'm trying. But I'm afraid our best isn't enough.
Madam Aruma: If that is what you believe, then it shall be so. But you can control your own destiny by not giving into despair. And remember, you are not alone in this battle. And your friends are here for you.
Akito: Grandma, what must I do?
Madam Aruma: The secret to winning this battle lies within each of you. You must give it all you got. To succeed, you must keep trying. And the secret lies in not giving up.
[And with that, Aruma's ghost disappears, and Akito wakes up back to reality. And then, Sonic, Shadow, Connor, David, and Blaze hear Aruma's voice as well]
Aruma's Voice: What you see before you isn't real. It is merely a hallucination caused by Jaakuna's dark power. You must resist it. And don't ever give up.
Sonic: *snaps out of it* Right... Hey, Shadow?
Shadow: I'm... I'm okay.
Sonic: Good. Because its time for some drastic measures!
Shadow: This will teach her to mess with us! But first we're going to need a boost of energy.
Connor: Here! Absorb my energy!
[Connor emanates some of his energy into Shadow and Sonic]
Sonic: Much better! Now, let's do it, Shadow!
Shadow: Right!
[Sonic and Shadow both power up their aura]
Sonic and Shadow: (close their eyes) Haaaahhhh... (open eyes) CHAOS FUSION!
[Everyone shields themselves from the blinding light incineration Jaakuna's energy bomb. And as the light settles, they all see that Sonic and Shadow have fused into a new entity]
Jaakuna: Who are you? What happened to the hedgehogs?
New Hedgehog: *Sonic and Shadow's voice* Sonic and Shadow? They are here, fused into me, I am Shadic, the Ultimate Hero!
Jaakuna: Someone's sure confident.
Shadic: Now, Jaakuna. Let's rock! You and me!
Jaakuna: So be it. Together, separate in the end it's all the same.
Shadic: We'll see about that. HYPER CHAOS FLASH!
[Shadic powers up, shaking the very fabric of the local universe with his newfound hyper power. Soon the assualt began and Jaakuna found herself in a corner]
Jaakuna: AGH!
Shadic: Have a taste of THIS! Chaos Comet Charge!
[Shadic surrounds himself in a shround of energy and spin dashes straight into Jaakuna]
Jaakuna: GGAHH!
Shadic: HAAAHHH!
[The force of the impact creates a great explosion so intense, everyone else is blow back]
Akito, Connor, Blaze, and David: AAAHHHH!
[The ground starts to crackle and lift, followed by a flashing multicolored explosion to blow it all away. When all settles down, we see Jaakuna is heavily damaged]
Jaakuna: (growls) Such power, how is it possible? .
Shadic: How's that, Jaakuna? Hot enough for ya?!
Jaakuna: You...
Shadic: Have you had enough? Or are you thirsty for more?
[Shadic does a come at me gesture. Jaakuna snarls, and retaliates by driving her fist into the ground, which causes the asteroid they're fighting on to crumble to pieces. They are now fighting out in the voidp
Jaakuna: You haven't beaten me yet! Not even close!
[Jaakuna releases a blast wave with a single swipe of her hand, pushing back Shadic. But Shadic blocks it and cancels it out]
Shadic: HAH! Try something else!
[Jaakuna races at Shadic, and the two of them engage in a fierce fist fight. They trade attacks with each other faster than the blink of an eye]
Akito: Wow...
Connor: Such speed...
Blaze: I can hardly keep up...
[The two forces both engage, with their trade of attacks being so strong, it even breaks the surrounding debris. They both seem to be going at with perfectly even power, with no clear advantage on either side]
Jaakuna: Impressive...
Shadic: Thanks!
[The exchange of attacks continues until a certain set of blows forces the two forces apart. They stare each other down from their locations]
Jaakuna: (pants)
Shadic: (light huffs)
Connor: Should we help?
David: We should save our energy for now in case they need it. They seem fine for now.
Akito: Agreed. Let's see how this transpires first.
[Jaakuna summons two spinning energy blades, and hurls them at Shadic. But Shadic is strong enough to simply grab the attack and hurl it back at Jaakuna. But Jaakuna stops them, and absorbs them]
Jaakuna: Most impressive. I see you have went far beyond your limits.
Shadic: (chuckles):I can say the same about you. I'm actually having fun fighting you!
Jaakuna: Good. I'm glad you're having fun. Make the best of it while you can.
Shadic: I intend to.
[Jaakuna charges and the two engage in another fist fight. But this time, Jaakuna gains the upper hand, and delivers a combination of crushing blows to Shadic. She finishes her onslaught by smacking him into a nearby asteroid with her coupled fists. Shadic slowly gets up, and wipes the blood off his face]
Jaakuna: Here! DARK SPEAR!
[Jaakuna forms an energy spear with her hands, and throws it to Shadic, who dodges just in time, and it impales the asteroid, obliterating it completely]
Shadic: Whoa!
Jaakuna: Take… THIS! Galactic Genocide!
[Jaakuna's body glows with a red aura. And then all of a sudden, the scenery around them turns purple. And then everybody is barraged by a series of powerful red thunderbolts that shock and strike them down. The attack drains half their life force]
Everybody: AAAHHHHH!
[As soon as the attack subsides, everybody is seen bruised and in bad shape]
Everybody: (painful groans)
Jaakuna: Now, time to end this!
[Jaakuna's palms glow as she charges her next attack]
David: Huh?
Blaze: What's she doing?!
Connor: Oh no...
[Two slow trails of dark energy head towards Shadic's direction, surrounding him]
Shadic: Huh? What's this?
Jaakuna: You'll see.
[Jaakuna clutches her fists, causing the wisps of energy to bind Shadic tightly]
Shadic: URGH!
[Even more wisps of energy branch of and around them like blood vessels]
Blaze: Huh?
Connor: What the?!
Akito: Watch out!
[Shadic is only encased further as the wisps proceed to suck the energy out of them. They struggle to break free but to no avail]
David: (painful groans) What's going on?!
Blaze: (painful groans) I don't know… But… She's zapping our strength…
Akito: I… Can't… Move…
Jaakuna: Hah hah hah! Not only are you helpless, but very soon, you will all be dead! Within moments, your power and your life force will be completely drained and added to my own!
Shadic: (weak) No… It… Can't… End.. Like this! You… You won't win!
Jaakuna: Oh but that's the beautiful part of it! I already HAVE won!
Akito: No! I… Won't… Give up!
Jaakuna: The game is over! And you're the losers! Now accept your fate!
Connor: Dad… My friends… Forgive us… We failed…
Narrator: Is this it? Is this truly the end? Has Jaakuna finally won? Has evil finally claimed victory over good? And worst of all, have all our heroes' efforts been in vain even after everything they have been through together? From the looks of things, it seems that this could very well be our heroes' last stand. The universe is about to be destroyed, and our only hope for defeating the great evil that threatens it is being snuffed out like a candle in the darkness. Things are looking dark, bleak, and hopeless for the future. And Jaakuna is now only moments away from her ultimate goal. But fear not, for there may yet be hope. But the question is; how will Akito and the others prevail this time? How will they be able to defeat Jaakuna once and for all now that she is winning? There's only one way to find out, and that is to stay tuned for the 50th and final chapter of Sonic Rovers.
