Narrator: Throughout this story, the Road Rovers, the Mobians, and their allies have fought many battles together. Throughout this story, our heroes have dealt with many foes, made new friends, faced many challenges, and have had lots of close calls. But through courage, determination, and their own ingenuity, they managed to prevail time and time again. Their struggle against their foes has been a long and exhausting war. But everything that has a beginning has an ending. And now we are down to the 50th and final chapter of this epic saga of good versus evil. Akito, Connor, Shadow, Sonic, Blaze, and David, are all locked in a desperate battle against the malicious sorceress Jaakuna, an all-powerful being who has existed for 10,000 years and has brought death, destruction, and terror to the entire cosmos. For 10,000 years, her reign of terror has flourished and thrived, and nobody has been able to stop her. But at this very moment, our heroes are fighting desperately not just for the fight of their lives, but to decide the fate of all life across the universe. In the midst of their battle, they have had a taste of Jaakuna's power. And they have had some close calls. Sonic and Shadow, with the help of Connor and the power of the Super Emeralds, fused to form Shadic, the combined form of Sonic and Shadow. Unfortunately, even with all their combined power, Jaakuna proved herself to be a far more formidable and dangerous foe than all the villains our heroes have faced thus far. Our heroes are losing this battle, and this is the most desperate moment. Will our heroes find a way to win this final battle and defeat Jaakuna once and for all? Or will this be their last stand? And worst of all, will this be the end of the universe as we know it? Stay tuned to find the answers as the final battle reaches its climax.
[Our focus is on Jaakuna, who has the upperhand. The heroes are at her mercy]
Jaakuna: Hah hah hah hah hah hah!
Akito: (painful groans)
Connor: (painful groans)
Jaakuna: Do you feel the agony, my puny insects?
David: Screw you, bitch!
Jaakuna: My, my... Such language... Oh well. I guess I'm just gonna have to inflict some punishment on you!
Jaakuna shocks David.
David: GAAAGGGHHH!
Blaze: Leave him alone!
[Blaze attacks Jaakuna with a pyrokinetic blast]
Jaakuna: So you wish to go first then little kitty?
Blaze: What?! No effect?!
Jaakuna: Of course, your fire is like a warm wind.
Jaakuna shocks Blaze.
Blaze: GAAAAGGGHHH!
Jaakuna: The harder you struggle the more your anger and fear feeds me!
Connor: STOP IT!
Connor breaks free of Jaakuna's hold, and puts up resistance.
Jaakuna: You just don't know when to quit, do you?
Connor charges up his fist and tries to punch Jaakuna in the face. But she teleports just in time before he could land the blow. She appears in back of him, and flicks him away with one finger.
Connor: GAH!
Connor goes flying into an asteroid. Jaakuna appears before him, and picks him up by his scruff. Then she repeatedly punches him in the gut. Connor vomits his own blood.
Jaakuna: Is that the best you can do?
Shadic's Voice: No! THIS IS!
Shadic punches Jaakuna in the face, causing her to release Connor. Shadic grabs Connor in his hands.
Shadic: You okay?
Connor: I'll… I'll live… Watch out!
[Jaakuna appears behind Shadic]
Shadic: Huh?!
[Jaakuna backhands Shadic, and he and Connor go flying through the void. Jaakuna then teleports above them, and creates an energy whip from her own aura.]
Jaakuna: FALL BEFORE ME!
[Jaakuna whips Shadic and Connor, and they both get zapped]
Shadic and Connor: (screams)
Jaakuna: Hah hah hah!
[Jaakuna whips again, and the whip wraps around Shadic's arm. She shocks him]
Shadic: GAAAGGGGHHH!
Connor: LEAVE HIM ALONE!
[Connor gathers his strength and summons a barrage of fire balls hurling down on Jaakuna. They explode upon impact. But as the explosions subside, she emerges unharmed]
Jaakuna: That tickled.
Connor: What?!
Shadic: There's just no way to beat her! We throw everything we have at her and she just keeps coming!
Jaakuna: Right you are, rodent! Nobody can stop me! And you merely delayed the inevitable!
[Jaakuna summons her ultimate attack, and barrages Shadic and Connor with powerful bolts of red lightning]
Shadic and Connor: (agonized screams)
[Shadic and Connor are both stunned and bruised. Jaakuna once again gets them in her grip along with the others]
Shadic and Connor: URGH!
Jaakuna: (evil laughter) You've all provided good sport for me! But your deaths are now at hand! Once I've finished with you, the whole universe shall be destroyed! HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH!
Akito: No… It… Can't end like this…
Connor: Father… Please forgive us…
[Meanwhile, back with the other heroes who were onboard the Blue Typhoon]
Vadi and Vida: (gasp) Oh no…
Fenrir: What is it?
Vadi: The others… They're in trouble…
[Everybody is alarmed]
Hunter: Vadi, Vida. What are their chances? Do you think they can win?
Vadi: I fear… That their chances are very slim… I'm afraid… We're going to lose this war against Jaakuna…
Prowl: *worried* Akito… No…
Spot: We should have been there for them!
Chomper: Yeah. But what can we do?
Typhoon: Isn't there anything we can do for them?
Vida: No Typhoon. I'm afraid not…
Serena: No! We've come so far! We can't give up now!
Sally: If we give up now, all our sacrifices will be in vain! And everything we worked so hard to achieve will be for nothing!
Lupe: She's right! There has to be a way! One way or another there just has to be a way!
[Suddenly, they hear a voice]
Voice: And there is…
[Everybody looks to where the voice was. Shag freaks out and jumps into Blitz's arms]
Shag: (yelps fearfully)
Blitz: (girly scream) It's a ghost!
Roger: It's okay, guys. I don't think it's here to harm us. I can feel it… She has no malice at all…
Rex: Then… Who… Who is that?!
Colleen: Shh! Quiet, you guys!
Fenrir: Speak, apparition… Why have you come here to our side?
Ghost: Fear not. For I am the ghost of Akito's grandmother.
Fenrir: Madam Aruma?
Madam Aruma: Yes. It's me.
Typhoon: Wha… What are you doing here?
Madam Aruma: I have come to aid you in your time of need.
Joe: Please, help us, Madam! Our friends need your help!
Sally: The universe is dying and Jaakuna is winning!
Colleen: We can't let her win! Or she will destroy all of creation!
Roger: Please. Will you help us?
Madam Aruma: I hear thou cries of desperation. And so, I shall assist you as best as I can. Now listen to me. All of you. This is not a battle we can win on our own. One person alone cannot stand a chance against Jaakuna.
Spot: Heh! You're telling us, mam! None of us could even touch her!
Prowl: Shhh! Quiet, Spot!
Madam Aruma: As you all know, Jaakuna is far more powerful and dangerous than any other enemy you have faced thus far. And raw strength and power alone isn't enough to defeat her. To win this battle, you must all unite as one.
Bruce: Ummm… Unite as one? Sorry but… I don't quite understand what you mean…
Duke: She means we all have to work together if we hope to stand up to her.
Bruce: Oh…
Madam Aruma: Correct. And the key to stopping Jaakuna lies within each and every one of you.
Hunter: Every one of us?
Greta: Are you serious?
Madam Aruma: Yes. All of you have a power inside of you that is forged from your very spirits. The power known as Chi which few ever learn to master to its full capacity. This power radiates from each and every one of you. And in order to win against Jaakuna, you must have benevolence, courage, wisdom, truth, justice, loyalty, and also love; the force more powerful than hate.
Boomer: Ummm… That's great and all but… How do we help our friends?
Madam Aruma: Each and every one of you have these traits imbedded into your very spirits. And your virtues' strength only grows stronger with each battle you endure.
Muzzle: So then… Each and every one of us has varying levels of chi?
Madam Aruma: Exactly. So you must accumulate the power that is within you all, and transfer it into Akito, Connor, Shadic, David, and Blaze. Now quickly, time is of the essence. Everyone join hands.
[The Road Rovers, the MAS, the Mobians, and all their allies join hands]
Madam Aruma: Now everyone close your eyes and concentrate. Concentrate hard.
Hunter: Alright everyone you know what to do.
[They all do as Aruma instructed. All of a sudden, their bodies begin to glow with a bright blue aura. The energy radiates from them like a forest fire]
Hunter: Alright everyone, here goes...
Sulea: Hang in there sis...
Sonia and Manic: Hang on, Sonic...
Madam Aruma: Now, heroes... Let your chi flow into your friends!
[Everyone does so, with multicolored streams of energy flowing skyward. Meanwhile, with the others, Shadic is seen struggling in the grip of Jaakuna's attack]
Jaakuna: Now... to end this little game.
[Suddenely, Jaakuna is struck by two attacks, which explode and stun her, as she had let her guard down. Shadic is unbound, but is flashing in and out of Hyper form as he falls]
Shadic: Damn it, not now...
[The accumulated chi swirls around Jaakuna]
Jaakuna: What?! What is this?! *The chi then strikes Shadic, Connor, Akito, Blaze, and David* Impossible, how can this be happening?!
Connor: Wha… What is this light?
Blaze: And where did it coming from?
Shadic: From them.
Akito: You mean...
Shadic: Yes, our friends and family.
Connor: So... That means... It's energy!
Blaze: Even far apart we're still fighting together.
Connor: Dad... Guys... Thank you...
[Suddenly, they hear the voices of their friends]
Exile's Voice: Connor! Don't give up on us now, son!
Connor: I won't Dad, I promise.
Prowl's Voice: Be brave! We're all counting on you!
Joe's Voice: Do your best! Take our power, mates!
Tsunami: Tamondazo, Akito-kun! Ganbare! (We're counting on you, Akito! Do your best!)
Sulea, Taki, & Noki: You can do it, Aki!
Boomer: Destroy that evil witch, guys! You can win!
Roger: Do it for the sake of the universe!
Tozoku: Stand up to her and show her what you're made of!
Drakon: Give her hell!
Sally: Fight until the end!
Hunter: Put this power to good use, guys!
Everybody: YOU CAN DO IT!
[And then, as if by a flash of blinding light, the chi that was spiraling around Akito, Connor, Shadic, Blaze, and David, circles around them and goes straight into them, granting them with all the power and strength they need to fight Jaakuna. As the chi flows inside of them, their bodies begin to glow with different colored auras. Akito was now glowing with a golden aura, Connor was glowing with a purple aura, Shadic with a mix of blue and orange, Blaze with red aura, and David with a green one]
Connor: WHOA! I feel full of energy!
Shadic: Same here! I feel a million times stronger now!
Jaakuna: I do not believe what I see! So, the other do-gooders gave their power to you... BUT WILL IT BE ENOUGH TO SAVE YOU?!
Shadic: It's more than enough, because this time we're fighting together!
[Shadic resumes a fighting stance as Jaakuna powers up with the energy she absorbed from Shadic earliers. But Shadic's aura was much more intense, enough to stop Jaakuna's aura more than a quarter of the distance from each other]
Jaakuna: What?!
Shadic: You can't push us around anymore! Let's see how tough you are now!
[Shadic lets out his first burst of power, which completely blows away Jaakuna's aura as they come charging at her. She attempts to blast them but all of her attacks do not hinder or hurt Shadic as they charge at her]
Jaakuna: Do your worst, I don't fear death!
[Shadic tackles Jaakuna, and they engage in a one on one fist fight]
Shadic: Tell me Jaakuna, what did the universe do to you to make you this way?
Jaakuna: Why do you care? I'm a monster, so do your job and vanquish me or this universe and everyone in it will perish.
Shadic: If you insist!
Akito: This madness ends now! (powers up aura)
Connor: Let's do it! (powers up aura)
Blaze: For our futures.
David: For our loved ones!
[Blaze and David all power up. The five heroes all stand with power far exceeding what they had before. With the accumulated power from their friends and family, they proceed to wail on Jaakuna faster than the blink of an eye, and hitting much harder than even the strongest being that lived]
POW! BAM! SMASH! CRASH! POW! WHAM! BAM!
Jaakuna: AAAAAGGGGHHHH!
Blaze: Let's give it to her! GALACTIC FIRE BIRD!
David: VOLCANIC VELOCITY!
Akito: DIVINE COSMOS!
Connor: CELESTIAL BUSTER!
Shadic: HYPER WIND FLASH!
[They all release their attacks simultaneously. And their attacks inflict heavy damage to Jaakuna]
Jaakuna: (screams)
David: Did we get her?!
Blaze: I don't know! The light is too bright! (covers face slightly)
[The light dies down and Jaakuna was there covered in scratches and blood]
Jaakuna: I didn't think you lot would do this much damage, but I admit, you actually managed to surprised me.
Akito: Oh yeah?! Well you just had a taste of what we can do!
Connor: Yeah! You want some more?!
Jaakuna: But tell me, heroes... Just how much longer can you keep these forms?
[The five of went silent]
Shadic: (thinking) {How did she know?}
Jaakuna: I thought as much. But I do admire how far you all have gotten, not many people have even come this close. And as a reward for getting here, I think I should share my past with you. You may not believe this, but I do not really want to destroy anything.
Connor: And why should we believe in that story?!
Akito: Exactly! And what was the purpose for putting us through hell?!
Shadic: You were trying to motivate us to destroy you, is that?
Jaakuna: That's right.
David: But why?!
Jaakuna: Simple, I want to finally die.
Blaze: So you're not psychotic, you're nihilistic.
Jaakuna: Not really, just suicidal.
Shadic: You sure went to lot of trouble just to end your life.
Jaakuna: I had to. My life force is bound to the emerald. 10,000 years ago I was once just a simple star sorceress.
Akito: So what caused you to change like this?
Jaakuna: My curiosity got the better of me when I tried creating an emerald that would rival maybe even surpass the Chaos Emeralds, which became the Star Emerald but in my ignorance I drained numerous stars that made up several constellations in Mobius' star system, including the Mobius Strip.
David: You wiped our home planet's most sacred constellation?!
Jaakuna: And as punishment, I was banished from my home and in the process I was bonded with Black Star Emerald so I would forever be reminded of my crimes.
Blaze: So you were given eternal life.
Jaakuna: At first, I didn't mind it but after a few centuries I started to feel alone, I tried to find a way to undo the spell and after decades had past I found my answer, my emerald had to be destroyed. But the power needed would be something close enough to the Big Bang, so for the past several millennium I spent obtaining more star energy to gain that power, then I came across the planet Aisuranda.
Connor: What?! Tha… That's my mom's home planet!
Jaakuna: That's right, your mother's people were able to shatter my emerald when I dragged the fight to Earth 20 years ago, with the help of that sorceress Aruma and werewolf Fenrir.
Akito: What do my grandmother and Fenrir have to do with this?
Jaakuna: As I said, they and Connor's mother were the ones that shattered my emerald.
David: So... That means...
Jaakuna: Yes. They are partially responsible for this. Because as a consequence of their actions, the shards scattered across the Earth. Thus beginning our hunt for them from the very start.
Akito: I can forgive them because it was an accident, and while I feel sorry for you, your actions regardless of your intentions will not be forgiven!
Jaakuna: I don't want forgiveness, I want to be set free from this curse!
Connor: Surely there's another way!
Jaakuna: Not for me! Now, if you still have what it takes, face me or all will perish along with me, one way or another, my curse will be lifted! BIG BANG DESECRATION!
[Jaakuna teleports above the ARK and Earth then surrounds herself with an orb of black with shades of blue, red, violet, and purple pulsing through]
Everybody: HUH?!
Blaze: What's she doing now?!
Shadic: Can't you feel that intense energy? She's planning on going nuclear!
David: No! If we don't stop her, it's all over! Everything and everyone will be obliterated!
Connor: That's NOT going to happen!
Akito: Not now, and not in a million years!
Shadic: Come on! Let's give everything we got!
[As Jaakuna prepares to go nova, Akito, Connor, Shadic, Blaze, and David all power up their chi along with the accumulated energy that absorbed from their friends. Their power levels skyrocket so tremendously beyond their limits. And as they do, their aura takes the shape of colorful spheres that surround them. And then, just as Jaakuna was about to detonate herself, the five heroes scatter around her, and neutralize her powers]
Akito: Time to end this, Jaakuna! NOW, EVERYBODY! LET HER HAVE IT!
[On Akito's command, she and the rest of the heroes circle around Jaakuna like glowing fireflies. They move faster than the speed of light. So much that when Jaakuna tries to swat them, she misses with every single swipe. As they circle around her, Jaakuna's strength and accuracy begin to lose their edge. And then, Akito plows right through Jaakuna's chest, and out through her back. Then, Connor has a go, and plows through Jaakuna's body in the same manner. Then Shadic plows through her, and then Blaze has a go, and then David]
Jaakuna: (thinking) {So this how it ends...}
[The heroes then continue to plow through Jaakuna's body with their powered up bodies. Using the positive powers of benevolence, justice, courage, wisdom, truth, loyalty, and love, the heroes manage to completely deplete Jaakuna's emerald. And soon, after taking enough damage, Jaakuna's body begins to incinerate in blue and green flames. As this happens, her emerald shatters and turns to dust. But before completely disintegrating from existence, she looks at Shadic with a faint smile]
Shadic: You're free now. Rest in peace.
Jaakuna: (dying) At least my last few moments were not a total waste... Thank you...
[And with that, electricity spews out of her injuries along with the blue and green flames. Jaakuna's body explodes in a flash of light, and her energy and life force is obliterated completely from existence. Everybody shields themselves as the light envelops them. They are pushed back]
Everybody: GAAAHHHH!
[Soon, the light settles, and the explosion is no more. Jaakuna was finally gone. All that's left of her now is what appears to be tiny specks of light floating around in space like cherry blossoms in the autumn. Shadic then separates and is reverted back into his two components, Sonic and Shadow]
Sonic: Whoa...
David: Jaakuna... She... She's gone...
Connor: I can't feel her life force anywhere... She's dead.
Akito: Wow... I can't believe it... We... We did it! We've won!
Shadow: Huh? Everyone look!
[Everyone looked at what Shadow was seeing and saw that all the stars that vanished began reappearing]
David: Huh? Hey, what's happening?
Blaze: All the stars that the black emerald absorbed are coming back.
Sonic: So this what Jaakuna wanted. To return the stars back to where they belong.
Connor: My God... Its... Its so beautiful...
[Suddenly, the ghost of Madam Aruma manifests before the eyes of the heroes]
Akito: Grandma!
Madam Aruma: Akito, Connor, Shadow, Sonic, Blaze, David. I'm so very proud of you all. Especially you, Akito. Together with your courage and determination, you have overcome impossible odds, and the universe is safe.
Connor: The universe is alive again!
Akito: There's peace, happiness and hope once more!
Madam Aruma: And it took all your combined strength to defeat Jaakuna. But most importantly, you all worked together as one. True power lies within the support of true friends.
Sonic: Yeah! We were awesome!
Shadow: (clears voice) Yeah... Though let's not forget, Sonic, we had some help from the others.
Sonic: I knew that...
Shadow: Sure you did...
Akito: So what now, grandma?
Madam Aruma: Now its time for you all to return home.
[Akito begins to cry]
Madam Aruma: What's wrong, child?
Akito: Oh grandma. Please don't leave me again. I already lost you once. Must you go now?
Madam Aruma: (smiles) Now, now. Don't worry, my grandchild. I may be dead now. But while my body has died and become one with the Earth, my spirit is now free. I will always be with you in spirit. And I will be watching you from beyond the stars where all good souls go. Now come. Its time to go back to the others.
David: Yeah, we got to go be congratulated in person.
[Madam Aruma leads the others back to the Blue Typhoon. Meanwhile, back at the said ship, the other heroes are now witnessing the display of colorful light specks floating around in space]
Fluffy: Hey! What's that out there?
Boomer: Looks like... Some sort of...
Roger: Pixie dust?
Sally: Could this be a sign?
Lupe: A sign that...
Vida: The battle is over...
Joe: Whoa! Really?!
Roger: Who won?
Vadi: I believe the answer is right above us. (points in one direction)
[Everybody looks to see Akito, Connor, Shadow, Sonic, Blaze, and David being guided by the spirit of Madam Aruma back to the heroes]
Amy: Sonic!
Rouge: Shadow!
Exile: Son!
Silver: Blaze!
Akito: Whew...
[Exile races over to Connor and hugs him. And then Fenrir races over to Akito and hugs her warmly]
Exile: (tearful) Oh Connor! My son! I was so worried!
Connor: (comforting) It's okay, dad! I'm here!
Fenrir: Oh Akito... Thank God...
Akito: (returning the hugs) Finally, its over...
Joe: Way to go, Aki! You did it!
Rex: Oh hallelujah! Thank the heavens!
Colleen: Congratulations, Aki!
Tsunami: Sa! Yattaze! (Yeah! You did it!)
Akito: I didn't do it alone though. I had help from my friends. And I owe it to all of you.
Connor: Yeah. We all did it together. Thank you all.
[Vadi and Vida start walking away with Geist and Drago in tow]
David: You're leaving already?
Vida: Yes. Our job here is done now.
Vadi: We are forever grateful four help.
Friendly Voice: You two are so serious.
[Everyone looks and sees a german shepard wearing a leotard in two shades of red with yellow accents and a blue gem on his pecs, around his neck was a long flowing bright red collare cape, red and gold gloves, a thick black belt with an equally big golden yellow buckle, and long red boots with gold kneepads, attachments and soles]
Fenrir: Tate?
Tate: Hey Fenrir. (gasps) Aki!
Akito: Sensei!
Everybody: Sensei?!
Hunter: Whoa! That German Shepard is your teacher? I would not have predicted this!
Colleen: Well to be fair, your predictions are usually off... You're not psychic after all...
Hunter: True...
Akito: What are you doing here, Sensei? I haven't seen you in... Forever!
Tate: I was sent to come get these two, thought it was a good enough excuse to see you Aki. You sure have grown in the last few years.
Akito: Its so good to see you again!
[Akito and Tate share a warm compassionate hug]
Sulea: (clears voice) I hate to break up the reunion. But... What about them? (points to Geist, Drago, Parvo, Sleuth, and the rest of the villains)
Vida: Geist and Drago have committed severe crimes and must be contained within our zone, the others while they are dangerous their crimes pale in comparison to these two.
Vadi: You can deal with them however you wish.
Tate: Very well. Geist and Drago are in your custody. But all the same, they are all guilty of judicious crimes. And therefore they shall all be punished.
Eva: Wait! Its not fair! We didn't know Jaakuna wanted to destroy the universe!
Stilette: We still deserve another chance!
Huntress: Yeah, yeah. Tell it to the judge.
Purlinn: Human laws are meaningless, they won't keep us contained.
Ace: Whatever Tarzan.
Drago: (crying and sobbing) Oh the injustice... The humiliation...
Lupe: Be a man!
Drago: (crying and sobbing) I don't wanna be a man!
Sleuth: (rolls eyes)
Geist: (annoyed) Shut up, Drago!
Hershey: Drago, you have shamed us all. And now you will finally get what you deserve. You brought this on yourself.
Vida: Well, this is where we say farewell, friends.
Vadi: Maybe fate will bring us together again someday. But we cannot be sure on that.
Vida: All the same, we congratulate you all on your efforts and for defeating the great evil.
David: Hey, we owe a lot to you guys. We couldn't have done it without you.
Vida: You owe us no thanks. But its appreciated nevertheless.
Vida and Vadi: Farewell.
[Vadi and Vida create a dimensional portal and leave with their prisoners. The portal then closes as they enter inside
David: Do you think we'll see them again?
Shadow: Who knows? (shrugs)
Sonia: At least we don't have to worry about them for a while.
Manic: Well, guess that takes care of that.
Knuckles: Yes but... What about the MAS? (points thumb at the MAS)
Sonic: Good question. What "about" them?
[The MAS all bashfully place their hands in back of them and smile nervously]
Colleen: Well, they did work for Parvo at one time... But...
Roger: But that part of their lives is over now. I mean... I know we've had our differences with them in the past but come on! They've been helping us all this time! They have proven their loyalty and their value! Isn't that saying something on their part?
Boomer: Not to mention, Joe and Tozoku helped me escape from Dr. Psycho. So we owe them a great deal of gratitude.
Prowl: Just knowing we're forgiven is gratitude enough.
Hunter: And your actions alone are absolute proof of your change of heart, Prowl. We're all very proud of you guys.
[The MAS all blush]
Hunter: Especially you guys. (looks at the Canomutants)
Fluffy: (blushes) Awe... It was nothing! Really!
Spot: (blushes) Yeah... I mean... This is proof that we're not monsters after all. Right?
Snuggles: (blushes) Oui, Oui.
Rex: (blushes) We are honored...
Tozoku: Yes... But... What now for us?
Boomer: What do you mean?
Tozoku: We have proven ourselves. But... Will this change humanity's perception of us?
Jasper: And we have no home to return to... Will the world see us as heroes? Or as evil monsters still?
Raptor: He has a point...
Fenrir, Drakon, and Akito look at each other.
Drakon: What do you guys think?
Fenrir: Well, they're still quite young. And having been slaves of Parvo and Geist, they must all be very weary and unsure of themsleves.
Akito: Poor guys... They must be lost...
Prowl: Where should we go? Who will accept us for who and what we are?
Hunter: You guys are welcome to join us. We could use more recruits.
Blitz: Even if they're... Well... You know... Not dogs?
Boomer: What does that matter? They're our friends now. That's all that matters.
Prowl: We appreciate your kindness, Hunter. But I'm afraid we must decline.
Hunter: Then... Were will you guys go then?
Prowl: Honestly, I don't know.
Akito: (clears voice). May I have your attention?
[Everybody looks towards Akito]
Fenrir: Alright Aki, you can speak.
Akito: I think I have a solution. Prowl, Sheng, Vlad, Joe, Tozoku, Raptor, Jasper, how would you like to join my family? I will make sure to feed you three meals a day, give you plenty of exercise, a shower a day, and I will treat you all with the love and respect you deserve.
Fenrir: And this will be a good chance for you all to find a higher purpose for yourselves. And you get to benefit others as well. Think about it.
Drakon: This offer won't come again. So choose wisely.
Akito: The offer extends to you as well, Drakon.
Drakon: (surprised) Wait… It does?
Akito: (nods) Mmmhmm. And the same goes for the canomutants, ursamutants, and Typhoon and Serena as well. So, how about it? Its a nice offer, isn't it?
Typhoon: As long as you don't hold us accountable for your parents being dead.
Akito: Of course not, Typhoon...
[Akito runs over to Typhoon, and hugs him warmly. Typhoon returns the hugs]
Serena: Mind if I join in?
Akito: Sure.
[Serena joins in the hug]
Fenrir: Well, gentlemen? Have you made up your minds?
Prowl: Yes. I have. And I will accept Akito's offer.
Joe: Me too.
Vladimir: Me also. Akito is good girl. She very nice to me.
Sheng: You can count me in.
Tozoku: I'm in too.
Raptor: Same here!
Sheng: Me too!
Rex: And me!
Chomper: And me!
Bruce: And me!
[Everybody talks simultaneously that their chatter becomes incoherent]
Fenrir: QUIET! *Everybody gasps and remains silent* Okay, there's too many poeple talking. So I'll make this easy. For those of you who accept Akito's offer, raise your hands. *Everybody raises one hand* Good. Now, for those of you who don't accept her offer, raise your hands. *Nobody raises their hand* Good. Then its settled. And with that, we all welcome you into the family.
Everybody: AWWWWWWEEEEEE!
Boomer: This is so touching it makes me want to cry... (sobs)
Shag: (cries and whimpers) (takes out handkerchief and blows his nose with it)
Roger: (tearful) One... Big... Happy... Family... (smiles)
Hunter: You know something? This calls for a celebration!
[Everybody cheers]
Everybody: HIP HIP HOORAY! HIP HIP HOORAY!
[But then Shadow breaks it up]
Shadow: (clears voice) Sorry to break up the celebration. But... We'd best be getting home now.
Sally: Unfortunately, Shadow is right. We've all endured a LONG and exhausting war with Jaakuna and those creeps. And well... For as much as I hate to say this, its time for us all to part ways. But first we need to return you Earthlings back to your world.
Silver: Make no mistake though, its been an honor serving with you all. You all helped us out a lot. And we owe you.
Sonic: Besides, we Mobians have our own world to protect. Same as you Eartlings have yours.
Tate: Wow, you all got a lot on your shoulders.
Silver: (gasps) Oh! I forgot!
F. Maria: What is it, Silver?
Silver: We have to return to our own time now!
F. Marcos: Awe Man! How long as it been since we left?
Silver: That's not important right now, Marcos. The thing is we've overstayed our welcome. And now its time to go back to the future!
Blaze: Yeah, our timelines needs us.
F. Maria: Very well. But before we go, let us say goodbye to our family.
Silver: Very well. But make it quick. I'm opening the time portal now.
Maria and Marcos turn to their parents and thier siblings. Maria hugs Lupe, and Marcos hugs Lobo.
Lupe: (tearful) I'm so very proud of you two. You both have proven yourselves to be true warriors.
Lobo: (tearful) Yeah. We couldn't have been more proud of our son and daughter. At least now we know what you'll both grow up to be strong and independent.
F. Marcos: Of course, dad. So as long as you take care of us in the here and now. If you know what I mean.
Lobo: Oh I do, son. I do.
F. Maria: Yes. But what's also important is that we succeeded in our mission.
F. Marcos: Our mission to ensure your survival. So hopefully now, things will be different for us in the future.
Lupe: I wouldn't worry about that if I were you. Now that we survived, you will see us again in the future.
F. Maria: Yes. Though you will be 15 years older in our time.
[The time portal opens]
Silver: Marcos! Maria! The time portal is open!
Blaze: Come on! We have to go now! We can't stay!
F. Marcos: Take care, mom and dad. See you in the future.
Lobo: We'll be waiting for you until then.
F. Maria: (turns to the other wolves) And guys, thanks for everything.
Diablo: Don't mention it. Be safe, you two.
[And with that, Marcos and Maria accompany Silver and Blaze. And the four of them race their way into the time portal back to their own time. The portal closes. And they disappear from sight]
Tate: (thinking) {Living paradoxes, I'll have to keep an eye out for them in case time erasers come for them}
Drakon: Is something on your mind?
Tate: No, not really.
Sally: Well it's time to get you all back to Earth, then we'll be taking the ARK back to Mobius.
Shadow: And the same can be said for the GUN base.
Sonic: Then let's do it.
[And so they set the Blue Typhoon's coordinates for Earth. Before long, they arrive back home]
Huntress: Hunter! Look!
Hunter: We're almost home.
Blitz: Ja! It reminds you just how beautiful the Earth looks from afar.
Boomer: Me personally, I'm just anxious to get home! I'm exhausted.
[Guntiver places one hand on Boomer's shoulder]
Guntiver: You won't have to wait any longer, my friend. The journey is over. Besides, we're all pretty exhausted by this point.
Blitz: Ja. As soon as we get back to HQ, the first thing I'll do is draw myself a hot shower.
Exile: Me too, comrade. Me too. (pats Blitz on the back)
[And so, the Mobians leave their Earther friends on the shore of Miami Beach. And there, they give their final goodbyes to each other]
Hunter: Thank you. All of you. You've been a great help to the Road Rovers.
Sonic: I could say the same about you, pal. We couldn't have stopped Jaakuna without your help.
Roger: Yeah. And at least now we won't have to worry about Parvo, or Geist, or any of those creeps for a while.
Sally: Same goes for Drago.
Tails: Wait, what about Eggman?
Sonic: Oh... Well... We'll discuss that another time.
Connor: Say... We'll we ever see you again?
Sally: I don't know, sadly... None of us can really be sure what the future holds for us all. But who knows? Maybe someday we'll cross paths again.
Lupe: Until then, you must protect your Earth, as we Mobians must protect our Mobius.
Guntiver: We shall remember you guys for your courage and determination. Stay strong.
Tsnami: Hai. Likewise, Guntiver-Sama.
[Tsunami and Guntiver bow at each other]
Tsunami and Guntiver: Hai.
[Sonic shakes hands with Hunter, and then he shakes hands with Akito and Connor]
Sonic: Well, we'd better get going now. See ya around, dudes.
Sally: We'll miss you dearly.
Akito: And we will miss you too. Won't we, guys?
[Akito turns around to see Shag, Roger, Boomer, and the MAS crying]
Shag: (tearful mutters)
[Shag cries on Blitz.]
Blitz: Hey! Hey!
Roger: (tearful) We wish them a safe trip back home.
Rex: (tearful) Yeah... I hope they will visit us.
[Boomer hugs Roger]
Colleen: (places one hand over Rex's shoulder) Don't worry, Rex. I'm sure we'll see them again.
Shadow: Farewell, Earthlings.
Akito: Farewell, Mobians.
[The Mobians all head back to the Blue Typhoon as the Earth heroes all wave goodbye to them]
Rouge: I contacted the Commander Towers, he said he has sent Clarissa, Ichiro, and Kyoko back to Road Rovers HQ, so once we open the wormhole back to Mobius he'll follow after.
Shadow: Understood. Sonic, we better get ready to go use Chaos Control.
Sonic: Copy that, Shadow. Let's go!
[They all return to the Ark and arrived at the core]
Shadow: Ready?
Sonic: Let's kick it!
Sonic & Shadow: CHAOS CONTROL!
[The ARK gets covered in ab right light than goes through a wormhole and not soon after GUN base soon follows. Back on the beach, the Earthings were watching as the wormhole vanishes]
Tate: There they go.
Joe: Yeah. Like a comet flying through space.
Hunter: Well guys. At least its finally over.
Huntress: Wait... Where's dad?
Roger: And where's Mikhail?
[Everybody looks to their right to see Duke and Mikhail walking away]
Hunter: Hey! Wait! Where are you going?
Duke: Oh to where the wind takes us I suppose. We have nothing else to do anymore.
Blitz: But why?
Ace: Yeah! Why not stay with us as Rovers?
Mikail: And wear the new team uniforms? I don't know.
Hunter: But... But... You have been away from home for so long. Don't you miss us?
Duke: Heh heh heh. You youngsters hardly need us to babysit you anymore.
Mikhail: Da, you're all grown up now. Besides, our time has passed. We retired long ago. And its unlikely our services will be needed again.
Hunter: So what are you going to do with your lives?
[Duke places one hand on Hunter's shoulder]
Duke: Hunter, my son. You have done a fine job leading your own team. And this is your mission; to carry on our legacy. And Blitz, I know your father would be very proud of you right now.
Blitz: My father? Oh, I know he's proud.
Prowl: I concur. Blitz may have been different in the past. But he has changed. Just as we all have changed.
Sheng: It took a great deal of effort for all of us to see the light. But thanks to Akito, we finally did.
Prowl: And Blitz, we congratulate you for standing up to your brother.
Blitz: Thank you, Prowl.
Duke: Well, its all been settled. Come, Mikhail. Let's go.
Hunter: Are you sure you don't want to stay with us? You could be very valuable to the team.
Duke: Oh. I couldn't have been more sure. But, I guess it doesn't hurt to give one last parting hug. Come here, son.
[Duke hugs Hunter and Huntress warmly. And Exile and Connor hug Mikhail. And after that, Duke and Mikhail left the group. And as they walk away, Hunter, Huntress, Exile, and Connor wipe the tears from their faces]
Tsunami: Saiyonara, tomodachi-sama... (Farewell, friends)
Tozoku: Saiyonara (Farwell). (salutes to them)
[As Duke and Mikhail disappear from sight, Colleen approaches Hunter and the others with concern]
Colleen: Are you guys alright?
Hunter: (sniffs) Yeah. I just had some sand in my eye.
Exile: Da. We be okie dokie. Besides, at least I have my son Connor. (picks up Connor and places him over his shoulder)
Fenrir: At least we're all together again to enjoy this victory. With Jaakuna gone, we can all breathe a sigh of relief.
Prowl: But on the other hand, we've gained a lot of experiences from this war we fought together.
Greta: Yep. We're all a little wiser now.
Joe: So then... What do we do now, Aki?
Akito: Why don't we just... Stay here for a little while? And watch the sunset and the waves?
Sulea: Great idea. It will do all us some good to enjoy the last few moments of this day.
[The Road Rovers and the MAS all gaze at the beauty of the sun as it sets down in the horizon. And what a beautiful sight it was to behold for them all.]
Fluffy: Wow... Just look at the sun!
Spot: Yeah... Its so beautiful...
Akito: I never thought I'd live to see another beautiful sunset...
Fenrir: And before this day is over, we shall rejoice in it. This will be a day long remembered.
[As the group continues to gaze and marvel at the sunset, something comes to Roger's mind. He taps Hunter on the shoulder]
Roger: Ummm... Hunter... (taps shoulder)
Hunter: Huh? What's up, Roger?
Roger: Aren't you forgetting something?
Hunter: What do you mean?
Roger: You know? The whole... To the power of the pack thing?
Hunter: Oh! Right! (chuckles) Gather up everybody! To the Power of the Pack!
[The Road Rovers all do their victory howl, and Fenrir and the canomutants join in on thier howl. As the camera zooms out, we see that everybody is doing it along with them. The camera freezes in place. Then, the screen fades to black. But before the end, Shepherd is seen watching them]
Shepherd: You're good, good dogs...
Clarissa: They sure are, I'm so proud.
Kyoko: And as are we of Tsunami.
Ichiro: Hai, if father were still here, he be just as proud if not more.
Narrator: And so ends the final chapter of this saga. After a long hard struggle, the Road Rovers and their allies have succeeded in finally defeating Jaakuna, and saving the entire universe from total destruction. Finally, at long last, peace and happiness has been restored to the entire cosmos. This war was long. But through the heroes' courage, determination, and teamwork, they were able to overcome impossible odds. The Road Rovers and the MAS are now close friends and allies, and Akito has now taken the MAS under her care to help them find their place in the world. The heroes all returned home to celebrate their victory over the great evil that has been vanquished from existence. But the age old conflict between good and evil is ongoing. And as long as there is evil in the world, the might to fight for right will be needed. But now that the war against Jaakuna has finally reached its conclusion, our heroes can now enjoy life as they march forward to a new age of peace and harmony.
