Hello there and what's up guys? Warmachine375 here and I have made a Gundam 00 x Megas XLR crossover fic called "Megas 00". I miss watching Megas XLR and wished it got a Season 3 someday like Samurai Jack did with its Season 5 that finishes the entire show. Chapter 1

Nearby the outskirts Lunar Base, Earth, The Future - 3037

The Earth Coalition is on its last legs.

Commander Kiva Andru bitterly knew this as she flew her CMDR-KA mobile suit through the floating debris of destroyed Earth Coalition mechs and ships along with the corpses of the crews too as well to evade a squad of Glorft enemies pursuing her through space. After all, she was responsible of stealing their Avatar prototype from them, coming at a great cost of her comrades' lives when they pulled it off.

Prior to the Glorft invasion, Earth was a crown jewel of the galaxy where it was a seat of a prosperous coalition of humanity and several other races of sentient life that banded together as friends, equals and lived together in peace, unity and coexistence since 3012. Surface was covered with hive spires, housing millions. Factories were built deep underground, leaving cities and endless oceans and wilderness on the Earth's surface in pristine condition. And before then, it was once known as the Earth Sphere Federation that had unified most of the countries on the planet into one nation before moving forward into space to explore and befriend new worlds with the aid of the Celestial Being.

However, details behind it were currently scarce due to the near complete loss of records and history of Earth's deep and rich past thanks to the Glorft destroying everything during the war. Unfortunately, the Earth Coalition prioritizes survival and resistance, and rebuilding the Earth Coalition as secondary due to the state of the war against the Glorft, which looks unlikely in their current state after their devastating loss at the Battle of the Last Stand in 3035.

Now, all what's left of the Earth Coalition forces are one battle cruiser, Lunar Captain Richard McGonagle, and a handful of sleeker advanced drone mechs which were once mass produced, currently controlled by the last of Artificial Intelligences calling itself Haro. Kiva didn't ask too much questions about Haro and its origins, as long as it does its duty to protect the human and alien personnel of the Earth Coalition.

Too many mobile suit pilots' lives were lost and there was not enough time to train new pilots before throwing them to the meat grinder, which would have done more harm than good to the morale in the Earth Coalition. Not to mention, the GN technology was forever lost during the Glorft invasion and the Earth Coalition was unable to recover any vestiges of it.

Damn the Glorft... Xhosa, Winston, Li Tiu, your sacrifices won't be in vain!. Kiva thought in a somber manner after brushing off her hair post-battle with the Glorft squadron that she swiftly took out with relative manner.

In her mobile suit, the Lunar Captain contacted her with a look of distress as Kiva saw the headquarters of the Lunar Base fall apart around him. "Commander! The Glorft found our base! The defenses are failing! We are being overrun!"

"Understood! I'm on my way!", Kiva responded urgently before contacting her forces. "All wings form on me and defend the base! If the Glorft capture M.E.G.A.S., any hope Earth has its freedom is lost."

"Roger! Roger! Defend the base! Defend the base!", the EC Drones chirped eagerly as they flew next to her, evading enemy blasts at full speed.

It is still unsettling to hear them sound like cute children filled with lots of energy., the red-headed Commander frowned at the child-like voices of the drones before focusing on defending the Lunar Base from the assault from Warmaster Gorrath and his massive fleet who are determined to recapture their Avatar prototype no matter what.

On the Lunar Base

Despite Kiva rallying the EC Drones and taking out several Glorft mechs in several exchanges of fire, it was a futile effort when Gorrath unleashed the U.M.D. or the Ultimate Mech Destroyer for short to the surface of the Moon. The EC Drones fired everything from their arm wrist cannons at the U.M.D. but the large machine did not suffer any damage. It was like throwing tiny pebbles at a colossus who won't budge or notice anything at all.

The massive Glorft war mech began to fire its weapons into the drones, destroying them in droves.

"We can't fight that! Fall back to the hanger!", Kiva said with an unnerved manner before she ordered her forces to retreat from their overrun position as she directed her CMDR-KA to the main entrance of the base, where M.E.G.A.S. lies inside, their last hope.

Approaching the heavily Earth Coalition-modified Avatar prototype mech, having been renamed as the "Mechanized Earth Guard Attack System" with a new white and blue colors that of the Earth Coalition and a head believed to be reminiscent of a Gundam whose eye visor shine red, Kiva tapped into the holographic terminal of her mobile suit's head cockpit to remotely activate the large war machine for take-off.

Gundam. Angels of graceful destruction and salvation in Earth's ancient past and folk legend. Piloted by men and women of legend. Each of them are a one-man army in their own right and among them is Setsuna, Kiva's hero and inspiration when she was a child with no family.

Now M.E.G.A.S. is remodeled in an image of a Gundam, it will save Earth from the Glorft and change the future!, she reminisced before Lunar Captain Richard contacted her.

"Commander! What are you doing?!", he demands an explanation.

"My job! Taking M.E.G.A.S. into the past!", Kiva revealed, pushing aside the holographic screen of Richard to add in the coordinates to the time travel device.

The Lunar Captain protested with a look of concern and alarm, "Negative! The Time Flux is untested! We don't even know your modifications to the Glorft technology have stabilized! If anything goes wrong, you can be trapped in a timeless temporal rift forever!"

Kiva remembered that the Time Flux device apparently came from Veda, the most powerful supercomputer from the era of Gundams in the Earth Coalition before it was ultimately destroyed by the Glorft during the war. Its loss was devastating to the Earth Coalition. However, the Haro AI and its units were sent by Veda to the Earth Coalition before it was destroyed, running without the need for Veda. However, others were wary to use Haro, seeing that it was the last of the GN tech and they are not easy to replace.

The redhead woman reassured her superior, "We don't have a choice, Captain! M.E.G.A.S. would have made all the difference at the Battle of the Last Stand!"

"In theory", Richard interjected, believing that her gamble may not work and could backfire badly.

Undeterred, Kiva stated with conviction, "I know that with M.E.G.A.S., I can turn the tide and change the outcome of the war we lost! I have to take it back there now!"

Seeing that there was no stopping her and desperate times that calls for desperate measures, the Lunar Captain sigh but then look at her with determination, "We will keep them occupied as long as we can!"

With that, Kiva activated the Time Flux that is a combination of Glorft and EC technology, which fired a large blue energy beam past the Glorft forces, a large portal opening up. Just as the Glorft breaks through the heavy hanger door, she sets the M.E.G.A.S. on auto-pilot before lifting off and charging towards the portal, providing cover fire and escort it.

Seeing the overwhelming forces she faced, she spoke to the captain, "Captain! It's too hot in here! I'll try transfer into M.E.G.A.S. and route to the temporal warp."

The captain acknowledged that, nodding in response. "Copy that, Commander!"

Of course, when I modified it extensively, I set its biometrics system in the Black Box Internal Security Grid to allow only me to pilot M.E.G.A.S. through my DNA. I made that decision as a security measure to prevent the Glorft from reclaiming it or any unsavory characters attempting to steal it for themselves., thought the commander as she flew out of the overrun Lunar Base, protecting the M.E.G.A.S. and beginning the transfer in the middle of a warzone.

Unfortunately, it caught the attention of Warmaster Gorrath the leader of the Glorft, who noticed it and he was not pleased, seeing his stolen Avatar mech being heavily changed by his enemies. Kiva overheard Gorrath's attention towards her and M.E.G.A.S. and fly straight to the portal, proceeding with the transfer immediately. In his furious anger, he set his Glorft warship Karajor at full speed to intercept and reclaim the M.E.G.A.S. despite the protest of his Glorft Commander who showed concern at the consequences of going into the portal.

Realizing their intentions, the Lunar Captain quickly called out, "They're trying to cut them off! Any remaining Drones! Form on Commander Andru and provide cover while she transfers to M.E.G.A.S.!"

Despite being in the middle of heated battle, the EC Drones chirped together in response. "Roger! Roger! Protect the Commander! Protect the Commander!"

As the CMDR-KA prepares its docking transfer sequence to M.E.G.A.S., five EC Drones flew in formation around the mechs to protect Kiva with 2 of them shielding while the other three went on the offenses, energy blasts firing. Unfortunately for Kiva and the drones, the Karajor's main batteries completely destroyed 2 of the said drones with active shields, forcing the 3 offensive Drones to take their place and maximize full power of its shields.

"Come on, come on!", Kiva pleaded for the docking tube to connect with the head of M.E.G.A.S. and she lets out a breath when it worked.

Leaving her CMDR-KA behind, the redhead woman attempted to launch herself to her new mobile suit, ready to use it and carry out her plan to avert the Glorft victory in the Battle of the Last Stand. Sadly, plans do not survive first contact as the Glorft missiles struck not just the head of M.E.G.A.S. but also the back of Kiva's mobile suit.

Forcefully sent flying back into her cockpit, Kiva reconnects herself with the CMDR-KA, suffering a backlash from the damages it suffered from the back, electrocuting her. Coughing up blood, the Commander sees her intended destination in time randomly change, much to her dismay. The three surviving EC Drones flew to help, with one using its shield to cover Kiva and the M.E.G.A.S. while the latter two attempt emergency repairs.

"Oh no...", Her last words were weak upon seeing the randomized years of the time traveling device as she fell unconscious and she, her Drones along with Gorrath and his Glorft battleship are fully pulled inside the time warp portal.

At Krung Thep, The Past - 2310

Within the isolated space colony controlled by Celestial Being which serves as its major mobile suit development lab and factory, Commander Chall Acustica gazed upon the headless mobile suit that is undergoing some repairs and modifications with look of suspicion and wonder. It was brought in by Ian Vashti when he and his group of Celestial Being engineers encountered the one designated as M.E.G.A.S. that crash landed on a large asteroid. They claim that it came out from a portal which vanished afterward.

Upon close scanning and inspection with his wife Linda Vashti, Ian discovered that the mysterious mobile suit possessed an unknown hybrid type of advanced technology that they have never seen before and are currently studying to understand and possibly replicate it with the GN technology. That also included a heavily damaged device called the Time Flux.

The reaction from members of Celestial Being towards the reveal that it possessed a time travel device was an understatement.

This sounds more like a fantastical science fiction novel like that of H.G. Welles or Back to the Future. Time travel? Preposterous. Even if it was proven to be true and not a theoretical, why would someone from the future send this powerful mobile suit here to the past? For what purpose exactly?, the former 2nd Generation Gundam Meister thought as she watched a new head of Gundam Astraea being placed on top of this M.E.G.A.S.'s neck and the engineers and Haros are welding them together on every angle.

She made the right call to order the Time Flux to be taken to the Krung Thep's vault and sealed away along with ordering those who are involved with this M.E.G.A.S. to keep it classified. The device was too damaged to be used anyway and all the time, effort and resources Celestial Being had are dedicated to develop the new generation of Gundams and CBS-74 Ptolemaios 2. Even if they did somehow fixed it, traveling back in time is risky with time paradoxes and multiverse theories, and it was very tempting to go back and undo what happened back at Operation Fallen Angels.

All they have to do is keep moving forward and make a better future for the sake of fulfilling Aeolia Schenburg's plan.

"Commander Chall! Penny for thoughts?", Ian asked, casually approaching her.

Humming, she replied, "I'd say that our mystery mobile suit from the future is more than meets the eye. It's a good thing we found it before the A-Laws did. It'd be terrifying to imagine if Megas fell under their control and they would have used it to cause massive destruction and death. Especially after we found out the contents of its arsenal that we had some of the most dangerous ones removed for safety reasons."

The chief engineer of Celestial Being commented, "I agree. Speaking of Megas, we have added the cockpit on the torso of the mobile suit along with a Haro terminal. I can tell that the previous head that got blown off was probably a former cockpit there. To be honest, that was a very bad design flaw, obviously leaving the pilot vulnerable when the enemy aims for the head. It unnerves me to imagine what happened to the unlucky pilot of Megas when the head exploded."

"Since it came from the future apparently, the unfortunate pilot must have died in an attempt to time travel before Megas was sent here when that happened. We will never know what was his or her mission to come here in our timeline in the first place.", Chall remarked in speculation.

A grimacing Ian commented, "True. Not to mention that Megas got a biometric system of its own within the black box after Lasse tried piloting it to no avail. Since its future pilot is dead, we would have to find which one of us in Celestial Being shares the DNA with him or her in order to bypass it and pilot the Megas. If not, we might have to find someone on Earth who does. So long that guy is not part of A-Laws or the ESF Army."

While she may have vowed to never set foot on a Gundam ever again for the rest of her life, the Celestial Being commander stated, "Regardless, we shall make good use of this mobile suit. It may not be GN Drive-powered like the new Gundams we are developing but it will be our secret weapon against the A-Laws. It never hurts to have an extra firepower especially with Megas here. Until then, I am sure that we will find the one who can pilot it."

"You're right. I will inform Tieria about our new addition when he gets back to Krung Thep. No doubt that he would be very interested.", Ian nodded before going back to work on the M.E.G.A.S.'s modifications while Chall continues her observation silently.

Meanwhile, Feldt Grace had glanced at the M.E.G.A.S. surrounded by engineers and Haros behind the glass windows while passing by with Orange Haro held in her arms. "Haro, what is that?", she asked with curiosity.

"An abandoned mobile suit! An abandoned mobile suit! Now a new Gundam! A new Gundam!", the Orange Haro chirped as it shared info with its fellow Haros in the Krung Thep.

"I see. Aunt Chall must have deemed it useful for Celestial Being when we are ready to show ourselves to the world once again. It looks bigger and more powerful. Although it doesn't seem to have a GN Drive of its own.", the pink-haired young woman noted of the new Gundam taller than the four new Gundams.

Orange Haro stated as it flapped its ears, "It's a special case! A special case!"

"Okay then, I will ask Aunt Chall about the details with that new Gundam later. Let's continue searching for Setsuna and bring him home back to us. He is out there somewhere.", she said with a look of determination.

With that, Feldt Grace and Orange Haro have left the room as the eyes of M.E.G.A.S.'s new Gundam head shines green.

Author's Notes: Looks like Chapter 1 of "Megas 00 is finished" and I hope you like it. It is a shame that there is little information regarding the Earth Coalition, showing how dark the future is before it transitioned to Kiva being forced to stick around with Coop and Jamie in the Megas in the first episode of the show. On the other hand, Celestial Being in the middle of rebuilding themselves have gotten their hands on M.E.G.A.S. and decided to keep it around as a reserve until it's time to call upon it for their war against A-Laws.

As for M.E.G.A.S. ending up in the middle of the Gundam 00 timeskip where Celestial Being is in hiding and developing new Gundams at the time, at least it didn't get dumped on 1930 where it remained on the junkyards of New Jersey until Coop found it and made it his own on 2004 in the canon. On the bright side, the damaged Time Flux is not destroyed and currently kept in storage.

There would be some removal of certain weapons from the Celestial Being-modified Megas since the canon Megas was the ultimate homage/parody to everything in the Super Robot genre.
