Hello everyone, Warmachine375 here and once again I have returned with Chapter 4 of "Megas 00". I appreciate the reviews and support of this crossover story and now we're here for the Battle of Lagrange 3 with some certain unexpected surprises and monkey wrenches that would take both sides: the Ptolemy crew and A-Laws/Ribbon's Innovators respectively quite off guard.

Chapter 4
At Lagrange 3
Upon arriving closer to the raging battlefield with Gundam Megas, Louise Halevy, or rather her codename Sayla Mass, views through the visual screen of her cockpit that showed her the Ptolemaios II and the three Gundams trying to fight off the waves of A-Laws mobile suits attacking them in every direction around them. Among the Gundams, she sees the Seravee trying to wrestle with its enemy that appeared to be a brand new model that stood out from the rest of the A-Laws forces but the latter is seemingly overpowering Tieria's Gundam despite its great strength of its own right.
And then, she witnessed the Seravee knee the enemy on the torso before pulling a Judo flip on the latter, sending it flying and crashing into an asteroid before firing his shoulder mounted cannons at his opponent who quickly recovered and dodge the blasts with ease.
I knew Master Tieria would apply it!, the blonde woman happily thought with vindication that her mentor really did took up some wrestling tricks even though he finds them really unorthodox during her Gundam Meister training under him.
"Warning! Warning! Enemy compressed particle build up! Enemy compressed particle build up!", Red Haro warned.
Receiving a visual screen from her robot companion's warning, the female Meister noticed another A-Laws new model charging up a GN cannon rifle and it is aiming right for the Ptolemy 2 unaware of the danger. Deciding to act immediately, she ordered as her helmet's visor manifested a visual targeting scope similar with that of the Union's for her to aim. "Haro, prepare the GN Large Beam Cannon and charge it up!"
"Roger! Roger!", Red Haro complied with her request as Gundam Megas draws power from the GN Tau Drive connected with its thermonuclear fusion reactors and compress the blue particles into the barrel of the GN Large Beam Cannon whose form was based from the schematics of Virtue's GN Bazooka itself, glowing brightly blue.
Locking on to her target, Sayla Mass narrowed her eyes, held breath steady and steeled herself before pulling the trigger of her mobile suit cockpit controls. Let's see how you like it to be on the receiving end, A-Laws!
"Targeted and firing!", she shouted and a massive blast is unleashed from her Gundam-Type mobile suit's main weapon.
Meanwhile, Revive Revival aimed his weapon with his cockpit's targeting system while the feet of his GNZ-003 Gadessa are deeply entrenched on the asteroid so that it won't be sent flying by the immense recoil to snipe his target from a far away distance in order to catch his enemies unaware. "Charging complete. Targeting Ptolemaios. GN Mega Launcher ready... And Fire!", he shouted with a smirk.
His weapon fired a large orange particle blast upon the mothership of Celestial Being and pierced its GN Field, hitting the starboard side and severely damaging it which leaves a huge hole behind. He can already see the looks on his enemies' faces when they are at his mercy.
Revive loved his Gadessa and its firepower so much and believed that there is nothing in the world can stand a chance against it. Not even that Twin Drive Gundam can stop me now!, he boasted.
Suddenly, the lavender haired Innovator is alarmed when his Gadessa's E-Sensors warned him of an incoming attack from the right side of his direction and turned around to see a massive blue particle blast that made his own attack look small in comparison. "What the hell?! Where did it come fr-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!", he screamed painfully as his Gadesss instantly melted and exploded around him in a blue flash before his eyes, incinerating him.
Too little, too late to fly and get out of the way on time even with a Core Fighter that has already been destroyed, Revive Revival has been unceremoniously struck down by Gundam Megas' particle beam attack and got vaporized into utter oblivion along with his Gadessa and several large asteroids in its path of massive destruction.
Karma is a bitch and Bitches love cannons.
"No!", Bring Stabity yelled out in shock and grief upon witnessing the swift demise of his fellow Innovator before his very eyes at the hands of a new Gundam showing up unexpectedly, knowing that his leader Ribbons would be very displeased from it.
This has gotten the attention of everyone on the battlefield, even when they continue to exchange fire at each other, where they saw the massive blue particle beam and its aftermath. They see a new Gundam-looking mobile suit that is bigger than the four Gundams themselves, which it would be taller than it looked when it transforms in battle, and it is in a fighter mode almost like that of a Flag.
While the GN Large Beam Cannon is cooling off from the intense release, Louise deployed several missile launchers and cannons from the forearms and shoulders of Megas with Red Haro's help. Then, she fired all of them with a war cry that she adopted from her uncle Coop back when she spent fun time playing video games with him in happier times of the past.
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Several powerful blue particle beams and GN missiles were fired from Megas and bombarded the entire asteroid area, outright obliterating asteroids and A-Laws troops unlucky to be caught within their path. One of the three Baikal-class ships got hit and detonated in a fiery blaze of glory, killing the entire crew and personnel of the Federation's autonomous peacekeeping force.
"So they have finally decided to deploy Megas at our time of need? I am very grateful.", Tieria Erde muttered with awe and relief that reinforcement has arrived in the form of his pupil. He didn't expect their newest addition to Celestial Being could contain so much firepower at its disposal after it was under development by Ian and Coop.
And Good Lord, the lungs on Louise Halevy., he added with a sweatdrop after hearing her battle scream.
Then the purple haired man resumed battle when the insolent Patrick Colasour and his comrades decided to try their luck against him head on, which he is more than willing to show that he will make them regret it.
Holding back his sneeze even though that he was sure that there was no dust inside his helmet and cockpit, Lyle Dylandy, who is recently the new Lockon Stratos, asked from Orange Haro. "What was that? And where did that noise come from?", he wondered after hearing a woman's war cry.
"Gundam Megas! Gundam Megas! We have reinforcements! We have reinforcements!", the adorable mechanical ball enthusiastically replied with a flap of its wings on Cherudim's terminal after receiving the transponder signal. Orange Haro even showed him visual of the new Gundam entering the fray.
The twin brother of the deceased Neil Dylandy accepted before resuming combat with the A-Laws who are now focused on the new enemy but some had left themselves exposed to his sniping range which he is more than happy to exploit that in his advantage, "That's reassuring! Thanks! Now it's time for Celestial Being to strike back!"
"Roger! Roger!", Orange Haro chirped in agreement.
On the other hand, Setsuna F Seiei managed to free himself from the plasma field that was set up by Patrick Colasour earlier and the 00 Gundam emerged above from it almost unscathed. "What the? Is that a Gundam? In a Flag fighter form... Who could be the pilot?... And that loud screaming, it sounded familiar...", he wondered with surprise and curiosity upon seeing a new ally appearing to aid the Ptolemy crew before he was interrupted by an angry Bring Stabity.
Discarding his stoic self and looking visibly pissed off from Revive's death, Bring yelled as he is no longer holding back and going all out. "It doesn't matter if you brought in a new Gundam to turn the tide, Celestial Being! My machine is still far superior than your 00 and you will die!"
Now the Krugis young man grits his teeth in annoyance, and will have to focus on trying to beat the Innovator and stay alive.
At the bridge of the Baikal-class command ship
"Colonel Mannequin, we lost Captain Revival! Oh my God...", the older A-Laws bridge officer with glasses reported with a shocked look on his face.
It can't be... The scale of such particle blast is almost like that of the Alvatore... And what the Devil was that noise?!, thought Kati Mannequin, the tactical forecaster for the A-Laws with a look of mild panic after seeing it with her own eyes. She remembered how the deceased UN Ambassador Alejandro Corner's mobile armor had easily decimated everything in its way after joining up with the UN Forces in an attempt to finally wipe out Celestial Being 4 years ago.
Considering that Alejandro was the traitor of the paramilitary organization who gave the UN Forces the means of fighting back on even terms, Kati considered it a relief that he was on their side and they won't be on the receiving end of the Alvatore if they made him their enemy. Even though Alejandro had rubbed her the wrong way when she and Colonel Sergei met up with him to coordinate and plan for the final offensive against Celestial Being.
Alejandro seemed so smug and overconfident in the strength of his mobile armor and look where that got him.
A dead man with nothing left to be buried among the wreckage of Alvatore that was left behind in space.
Calming herself down, she ordered. "Get me visual, Ensign Vincent! I want to know who's behind that attack!"
"Yes, ma'am!", he complied with a nod.
Receiving a clear screen of the interloper from her competent subordinates, she sees a giant Flag-type Gundam in its fighter form entering the battlefield at full speed and opening fire on her forces with GN missiles and particle beam barrage while noting of its blue GN particles it emitted that stood out from the other Gundams. Interesting. Either Celestial Being had resorted to using GN Tau Drives or they somehow create a new True GN Drive of their own when they were busy hiding and rebuilding their strength for 4 years..., she thought.
The bespectacled woman declared to her forces through her communications channel. "To nearby units, Celestial Being has launched a new Gundam-Type model against us! Intercept and eliminate it!"
"Roger!", the A-Laws mobile suit teams complied in response as they begin to divert and charge towards their new foe while the others continue their attack on Celestial Being.
Well played Kujo. You always have had that one last remaining trick on your sleeve when I thought that I had you cornered back in the old days. But still, don't think that it will be enough while I still have more cards to play!, the colonel complimented her fellow tactical forecaster-now-enemy. Then she decided that it is time to call up for reinforcements that were on standby just in case and thinking up a new strategy to try take down the new Gundam despite it possessing more firepower than all four Gundams and their mothership combined.
And if there's anything she learned from the defeat of the Alvatore despite possessing greater size over any mobile suits and overwhelming firepower that made all GN-powered ships look inadequate at its disposal, there is an old saying:
The bigger they are, the harder they fall.
At the bridge of Ptolemy 2
On the other hand at the the bridge of the Ptolemy 2, Sumeragi Lee Noriega felt a chill down her back for some reason before brushing it off and gazed upon the visual of a giant Gundam in fighter form that of the Flag and checked on its IFF that she received a the transponder beacon to be from Krung Thep as GNMA-00012XLR Megas from her captain's seat.
"What is that?! Megas? I didn't know we have a fifth Gundam!", the brunette woman wondered with a befuddled look on her face.
Not that she was ungrateful but she was surprised to see a new model and its attack that wiped out the enemy right after it blasted through the Ptolemy 2's GN Field and starboard. After reeling from such attack, Sumeragi had to send both Feldt Grace and Saji Crossroad to check at Hangar 3 and see if Ian is alright or not which he may require medical attention, leaving Marie Parfacy to temporarily take over the pink-haired woman's place as the combat controller for now.
It reminded her too much of the giant golden mobile armor's massive beam attack 4 years ago and it took the life of Dr. Moreno during Operation Fallen Angels. Did Celestial Being salvage the Alvatore's remains at some point while I was gone?, she thought.
"Hell, it's about time! Commander Chall had finally released the Megas!", Lasse Aeon said with a smile of relief, obviously knowing who is the pilot of their new addition to the Ptolemy crew.
"Wait what?! Can somebody give me the context here?!", the tactical forecaster for Celestial Being questioned with her eyes wide open with shock as she clearly felt that she has been out of the loop.
How much did I miss for the past 4 years while I was drinking?!, she lamented.
Brushing away her tears aside while hoping for her parents' safety, Mileina answered. "Yup, it's a long story Captain Sumeragi, but to make it short, Dad found the abandoned mobile suit 2 years ago and had it modified into a Gundam with help of Mom and their friends at Krung Thep. And not only that, I know who's piloting Megas out there!"
"I see. Well, you can tell me more about Megas and its pilot later after we win this battle.", Sumeragi decided before noticing the lavender haired woman looking like she is having a splitting headache but held on to the Ptolemy 2's helm controls to keep the ship steady in the middle of the battle against A-Laws as best as she can. "... Uh... Are you alright Anew?", she asked in concern.
Anew Returner gritted her teeth as she tried to shake off this painful feeling from her head as if she had lost her other half for some reason she couldn't tell why. "... I'm fine, Captain. Just feeling a migraine."
Lasse reassured while in the middle of firing Ptolemy 2's weapon systems at the attackers from multiple directions around them, "I don't blame you. It must be your first time to be in the battlefield when you're recruited into Celestial Being. Don't worry, we'll pull through."
"Thanks, Lasse.", Anew smiled gratefully as she tries to shake that off and focus on piloting the mothership, to keep it on one piece.
Migraine, my ass! She has Quantum Brainwaves!, Soma Peries called out within Marie Parfacy who is surprised to hear her alternate persona and her suspicious tone after looking at Anew with concern. She can clearly see the soldier herself on the reflection of her standard Ptolemy crew spacesuit's helmet.
How did you know she has them? Do you think she could be a Super Soldier like us and Allelujah and Hallelujah?, Marie mentally asked her while returning to focus on her temporary combat controller post in Feldt's place.
Soma responded with a stern look from the reflection, It happened on a split second right when that massive blue particle beam outright destroy the A-Laws new model and then Anew felt a "migraine" after that. As for her and that now deceased pilot being Super Soldiers like us, it's not possible. The Super Human Institute was destroyed by your boyfriend and his psychopathic half along with everyone else inside there 4 years ago.
And if the Federation had created more Super Soldiers to augment their military strength, Colonel Sergei would have found out and I would have already sensed them with Quantum Brainwaves among the ranks of the A-Laws by now. Not to mention, there would have been more Smultron variants manufactured specifically for them to pilot too as well, Marie., she finished.
I see your point, Soma but... if Anew isn't a Super Soldier, then what is she really?, Marie wondered as she glanced at the helmswoman of Ptolemy 2 who managed to eventually recompose herself and focus on driving the ship.
At the Living Room of Celestial Being Mothership
To say that Ribbons Almark being in a state of Absolutely Livid is an understatement.
The leader of the Innovators did not expect that Celestial Being to have built a 5th Gundam and released it on the battlefield against the A-Laws and his two Innovators, who serve as its Licensed Officers with their new GNZ models, which caught them off guard just when the demise of Celestial Being has reached its close and inevitable conclusion. With Revive Revival dead, his twin Anew Returner, who serves as my spy and sleeper agent within that wretched organization, cannot be reactivated to free her from her false persona! It takes an Innovator, who has been grown in the pod with their twin sibling of the same DNA together, to do that! Not only that, my dormant control over Anew has been completely severed by that blue particle output after feeling the aftershock of Revive's demise! How could that happen?!, he thought with barely contained anger.
While Ribbons could technically bring back Revive Revival in a new body with help of Veda by his side so long the copy of his data is available as he's more useful to him as his warrior and valuable pawn, the latter's Quantum Brainwaves would be now too different for Anew to feel and receive them. Unable to trigger her true self and remember her purpose as a being superior over lowly humans at all.
He added with irritation and small regret that he has connection with most of his Innovators which turns out to be a two-way street, And now I have a splitting headache of all things!
"Wang Liu Mei, did you know about this?", the green haired man demanded as he turned around to see even she didn't see it coming too as well with her mouth having a bit of a jaw drop upon watching the screen of the giant mobile suit in fighter form destroying A-Laws forces like it was nothing.
Composing herself in front of the Innovator whom she allied herself with, the rich Chinese socialite woman replied with a look of unease as she was out of the loop, "I didn't. I only saw Celestial Being developing the new Gundams especially the 00 when I visited Lagrange 3 to see the fruits of their rebirth. They must have created it at some point but didn't tell me about it."
Noting from her body language that Liu Mei was really telling the truth, Ribbons accepted her explanation for now as he narrowed his eyes on the GN Tau Drive of the new player on visual screen. "I see. This new Gundam must be Celestial Being's real secret weapon instead of the 00 all along. And knowing that creating a true GN Drive without taking a long trip to Jupiter would be impossible, they must have used the pseudo solar reactors.", he speculated.
Ali-al Saachez hmphed with a look of interest and amusement as he watches the new Gundam in action against the forces of A-Laws and how it emitted blue particles which is a complete contrast with his Arche Gundam's red particles. "I gotta say those Celestial Whatchamacallits are quite resourceful. They must have salvaged what's left of those GN-Xs back at the Operation Fallen Angels and reverse engineered their power sources for themselves which I bet that created the blue particles out of it."
"And that they also have gotten those fake GN Drives from the Alvatore after Setsuna F Seiei killed Alejandro Corner and allowed our esteemed leader here take the reigns in his place. Even taking control over the Corner and Harvey families and subvert them to our side too as well.", Regene Regetta chimed in with a cheeky smirk which he can tell that Ribbon is looking annoyed of being reminded of the foolish man whom he played like a jester until at his last moments.
Then the two Innovators and the Krugis mercenary overheard Wang Liu Mei's incredulous comment and see what she meant upon watching the visual of the battle.
"Did... did that new Gundam just use some wrestling moves on the A-Laws?"
On the Battle of Lagrange 3
After scoring her first kill on the A-Laws new model and unleashed a huge indiscriminate barrage of GN missiles and blue particle beams that wiped out nearly everything in her path, Sayla Mass continue attacking several squads of Aheads and GN-XIIIs with Gundam Megas, dispatching them. In response, the A-Laws members returned fire to intercept the missiles while evading them at the same time. Although few more got hit and detonated in blue explosions, killing the pilots.
They managed to land some hits Megas with their beam blasters but due to GN Tau Drive attached to its fusion reactor's mass particle enhancement on the hybrid metal alloys of Lunar Titanium and Tritanium, it was able to withstand most of the attacks thrown at the Gundam-Type and remain unharmed. It's like throwing pebbles at an unstoppable juggernaut that is stronger and faster than it looks.
Flying right past them with unbelievable amount of speed for a large mech in fighter form, the Gundam-Type mobile suit is attacked from behind by the A-Laws but the sheer amount of blue GN particles produced from the back extensions deflected the orange GN particle beams away. Turning around, the female Meister charge at her enemies and fired the GN Vulcans of Megas to inflict more destruction.
Fearful that their new enemy will use the same attack that wiped out Licensed Officer Revive at any time without warning, Captain Barack Zinin in his Ahead ordered while trying to damage the incoming Megas with his weapon, "We can't let that Gundam-Type power up its main weapon and fire it again like it did before! Take it down!"
Piloting the GNX-704T/SP Ahead Smultron that was modified for him to control it better after the "death" of the Super Soldier No. 1 Soma Peries since he doesn't even have Quantum Brainwaves to begin with, Lieutenant Andrei Smirnov complied, "Roger!"
He and his comrades in their Aheads and GN-XIIIs charged forward at Megas with their GN beam sabers together at full speed to pierce it from every direction, only for their large enemy to seamlessly transform in mid-air or rather mid-space and placed its GN Large Beam Cannon on its back. It's like the Graham Special!, Andrei thought in surprise.
Then the Gundam-Type used the momentum to double kick the A-Laws mechs within range and smashed all of them like paper with its feet, causing huge explosions from their immediate destruction. Backflipping her Megas in a graceful maneuver, Sayla grabbed the special-looking Ahead and punted it hard with a superkick into the asteroid above them.
Andrei's remaining squadmates barely survived such devastating melee blow with some of their mobile suits' arms, legs and even a head is torn off and floating as space debris. On the other hand, the Smultron suffered damage to the point it needed immediate repairs if it didn't return to the A-Laws ship while Andrei suffering a bleeding concussion from the violent impact and floated away from the broken asteroid driftlessly.
"... Damn you, Gundam!", the estranged son of Sergei cursed with blood on his mouth, vowing revenge on the enemy pilot as he slowly flew away and withdraw in order to preserve his life.
"No! Grrr! You'll pay for that, Gundam!", Captain Zinin yelled after witnessing the one-sided massacre of his men and fired his weapon at the Gundam-Type enemy that got its attention towards him.
Charging at her outmatched opponents as the orange beams repeatedly bounced off from Megas' particle-enhanced hybrid metal armor, the blonde woman called out to them. "Not so fun now to be on the receiving end huh, A-Laws? Good! That's how everyone felt when you trampled on their lives and snuffed them out like a bunch of arrogant self-righteous butchers you are!"
Raising up her Megas' arms to make subsequent punching moves, Sayla yelled in a straightforward manner. "Rocket Punch!"
Two large metallic fists were launched from the forearms of her Gundam-Type with two high powered rocket boosters, and they are remote-controlled weaponry with the help of Red Haro as they fly at great speed towards Barack and his troops.
"An-all range attack?!", Petty Officer Ren in his GN-XIII shouted with a look of incredulousness.
"You got to be kidding me!", Warrant Officer Winchester in his Ahead panicked.
"Scatter and evade!", Captain Zinnin ordered which they dodge the rocket fists of Megas and are about to continue their assault.
But to their shock and dismay, the detached fists quickly turned themselves around and struck the A-Laws mobile suits from behind one by one, killing the pilots. The older man barely dodged in time with his Ahead losing its left arm holding the GN blaster rifle. He is the only one left standing as he watched the rocket hands return to the Gundam-Type's wrists.
However, with his Ahead suffering extensive damage and about to explode sooner or later, the A-Laws captain sneered at the Megas before him and brandished a beam saber for a suicidal charge. "You know you don't stand a chance! The A-Laws will soon prevail and wipe you out from the face of the Earth, Celestial Being!", he declared.
Just when he is close to directly stab at the 80 foot tall mobile suit as his final moment of defiance, Megas uppercuts his Ahead and sending it flying. It broke away the face plate and parts of the armored chassis, while severely injuring Barack with blood on his mouth and helmet's visor fully cracked and destroyed.
"I don't know nothing! High Mega Cannon!", Sayla retorted and unleashed a forehead cannon mounted in the center of Megas' modified Astraea head at the damaged Ahead to completely finish it off with extreme prejudice.
The concentrated blue particle blast from the Gundam-Type had completely vaporized Barack Zinin and his mobile suit in an explosion. Caroline, my love... I'm coming home..., he thought in his last moments about his wife who was unjustly murdered by Katharon's act of terrorism before embracing oblivion seconds later.
After dispatching the last A-Laws officer, the niece of David Halevy continued on her way to intercept more of Celestial Being's enemies and relieve the pressure on the Ptolemaios 2.
Meanwhile at the Hanger 3 of Ptolemy 2
When Feldt Grace and Saji Crossroad reached the hanger, they found the hallway leading up to it where it was charred and blackened slightly and the door didn't work. The two of them shoved the door open and when they entered the room with the Blue Haro floating behind them, it was a mess. There was a massive hole where the blast had hit and the metal in the room was melted and warped.
Feldt gasped in shock as she saw Ian's body floating in the middle of the room. The two moved towards him, trying to check on his condition and saw he suffered small bleeding wounds on his right side of his body but thankfully there were no obvious breaches in his suit such as his helmet, but they had no way to tell the full extent of his damage at this moment.
When they reached him, Saji said to him desperately and hoping he is alive. "Mr. Ian, are you alright?"
Hearing his voice, Ian opened his eyes painfully, looking at the Japanese man and the pink-haired girl, and grunted with shallow breath, "... I finished all of the adjustments to the 0 Raiser..."
"The 0 Raiser?" Feldt asked before she and Saji looked over to see it looked completely undamaged and intact from the enemy's large GN beam attack, which surprised both of them.
Ian looked at both of them even when his eyes are closing and breathing steady and shallow before losing consciousness, "... One of you take it to the 00. We will all die if it isn't delivered...to Setsuna..."
Carrying the chief engineer's unconscious body, Saji looked at Feldt, and stated in a serious tone. "You take it. I'll get Ian to the medical bay."
Feldt looked at him in surprise, "What? But I'm-"
The boyfriend of Louise Halevy looked her right in the eyes, "I owe Mr. Ian for helping find something to do on this ship. Even though I screwed up badly after what I did to Katharon's people. So, you will have to do it."
Feldt's thoughts were a rush. On one hand, she belonged on the bridge and had done that her entire life career which she is content on her role as her surrogate aunt point out the importance of being a support personnel in Celestial Being. On the other hand, her departed parents' path as pilots called out to her including even Megas despite transferring her biometrics to Louise who is already chosen to be its Gundam Meister.
What do I do?, she contemplated.
Saji could see her hesitating, knowing that they didn't have time for hesitation, "Setsuna needs this machine. I don't know if we can win if he doesn't get it. We will probably die if we can't win now."
Hearing a reminder of the stakes brought it all into perspective for her. The crew needs this. Setsuna needs this. The daughter of Ruido and Marlene looked at Saji still a bit conflicted but convinced, her voice stuttering slightly, "I-I don't know how to pilot."
Not like when Louise had the training to pilot Megas as a new Gundam Meister..., she added, unaware her friend is out there in battle.
"I will help! I will help!", Blue Haro called out, floating happily and seemingly oblivious to the destruction around it.
"Take it. You will need it more than I do.", the Japanese man said which Feldt nodded at his words and grabbed the Haro unit. She knew in a pinch the machines could act as pilots, though they couldn't match the skills of a human one.
The memory of her friend Louise came to her mind from two years ago, "I'm sure you'll find a chance to be a pilot one day. You won't know it till it hits you!"
Steeling her nerves, she floated towards the 0 Raiser's cockpit before looking over at Saji, who was beginning to take Ian out of the hanger and gave her a thumbs up. As she entered the cockpit, she put Blue Haro in the round slot and watched at the displays turned on as the 0 Raiser powered up.
Internally, the combat controller reassured herself. You can do this. My parents were pilots and I can follow in their footsteps. I can handle this. Forgive me Aunt Chall but there's no other choice. It's either this or we don't survive. While she tried to calm down, she could still feel her hands shaking from her nervousness. She opened up communications with the bridge of Ptolemy 2, "This is Feldt. I'm taking the 0 Raiser to the 00."
Sumeragi looked at her in shock, "Why are you-"
Feldt explained, "Ian told us one of us needed to get this to Setsuna and Saji is taking him to the medical bay. Blue Haro is here to help me."
"Indeed! Indeed!", Blue Haro chirped with the flapping of its wings.
The captain of Ptolemy 2 thought for a second and then responded, "Tieria and Lockon will cover you. Make sure you get to the 00 safely." Feldt could hear the slight fear in her voice at potentially losing another crew member. Before communications closed, Sumeragi said one last thing, "Good luck and come back to us alive."
"I will.", Feldt muttered before declaring. "0-Raiser, Feldt Grace, launching!"
Activating the 0 Raiser, the pink-haired woman blasted out of the hanger, heading towards the 00 Gundam into the heat of the battle, already feeling the protection of the Ptolemy 2 being stripped away from her. She felt like that she was entering an unknown world to her but she knew what needed to be done and even the odds against Celestial Being's enemies.
And as Feldt flew past the A-Laws forces, being covered by Lyle and Tieria in their Cherudim and Seravee Gundams, the shaking of her hands reduced somewhat, though her nerves were still a bit frayed. Getting visual of 00 Gundam struggling against the new A-Laws model that dominated it previously, she accelerated the 0-Raiser's speed towards them.
"Hold on, Setsuna! I'm coming!", she said.
"Hold the line! Hold the line!", Blue Haro cheered.
On the other side of Lagrange 3
As the battle rages on, Captain Descartes Shaman is leading his three squad of Aheads and GN-XIIIs followed by two Laohu cruisers and three more Baikal-class ship while piloting his own custom Ahead, the GNX-803OG Ogre. After receiving a call of reinforcements from Colonel Kati Mannequin, they are on route to aid their allies and keep up the pressure on Celestial Being still besieged by her forces in response of their enemy having backup of their own.
"Captain! Are you seeing this? Some kind of portal is opening!", Ensign Franklin in his GN-XIII called out when he noticed something.
Portal? Are you kidding me? What do you think is this? Star Trek?, the white haired man rolled his eyes before taking visual of his Ahead to see that his subordinate is right. There was a portal opening and four figures emerged from it before it was closed behind them. They look like white and blue-colored mobile suits that looked vaguely familiar with the GN-Xs of the UN Forces from 4 years ago since Operation Fallen Angels.
Although the other three looked way bigger, bulkier and stronger variants capable of brute strength and firepower while the fourth one looked small, lean and feminine albeit severely damaged and in the arms of its comrade. Not only that, their red eyes looked oddly cute except the last whose face is almost like that of a Gundam in a way.
"What the hell are they?", Lieutenant Hilda wondered upon seeing through her Ahead's visual.
Ensign Jack in his GN-XIII shrugged in a joking manner, "They could be aliens since Franklin said there was a portal they came out from."
"Quiet!", the A-Laws captain ordered before tuning in on the newcomers' conversation for him and his comrades to overhear and know of their intentions.
For them to hear childlike voices from the three giant mechs was quite unsettling in their honest opinion. And since no human pilot really talks like that, they can tell that the machines are controlled by Artificial Intelligence.
"Where are we? Where are we?", the Drone asked as it looked around and scan for anything it can find.
The second Drone replied while holding the slender-shaped mech on its arms, "Lagrange 3! Lagrange 3!"
"Transponder beacon detected! Transponder beacon detected! Source Identified: Celestial Being! Source Identified: Celestial Being!", the third Drone excitedly told its comrades before raising its large hand to point to the direction where the battle is ongoing. "Follow it! Follow it!"
"Roger! Roger! M.E.G.A.S. found! M.E.G.A.S. found!", the two Drones chirped in agreement.
Having heard enough and now knew the identity of the 5th Gundam that had been causing chaos on Kati's task force unit at Lagrange 3, Descartes Shaman ordered. "All units, they must be additional reinforcements from Celestial Being after the Gundam-Type Megas! New models with A.I. most likely! Wipe them out before they come to aid their comrades!"
"Yes sir!" His forces complied and they raised their GN Lances and blasters to open fire on the newcomers with the Baikal-class ships and two Laohu cruisers that were modified and outfitted with laser weaponry and GN missiles following suit.
And it caught them their full attention.
Protecting its comrades with an encompassing blue energy shield while holding unconscious Kiva's CMDR-KA in its arms, the Earth Coalition Drone shouted with its chirping tone as their eyes glow red. "Hostiles detected! Hostiles detected! Eliminate them! Eliminate them!"
"Roger! Roger! Protect the Commander! Protect the Commander!", the other two Drones chirped together with their eyes glowing red too and brandished their arm wrist cannons to return fire at the enemy mechs attacking them unprovoked.
The two offensive EC Drones' blue laser blasts were able to shoot down several of Captain Shaman's troops before they fly off with rocket thrusters on their backs to engage the mechs in combat. On the other hand, some of the A-Laws mobile suits were able to dodge or use their GN Field defense rods to block the laser attacks in front of them.
And then they come face to face with the two Drones punching, blasting and tearing their comrades' machines apart piece by piece.
"This is insane! They don't have GN Drives and yet they're able to keep up with u-AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!", Petty Officer Simon yelled before his Ahead exploded by the Drone #2's haymaker punch.
However, the said Drone got attacked by the five ships of the A-Laws' cannons firing particle and laser beams, forcing it to deploy the blue shield around itself. But it was not enough and it broke, forcing the Drone to evade the attack and retaliated with its arm wrist cannon blasts. It managed to destroy one Laohu cruiser and one Baikal-class ship at the same time, killing their respective crews.
"Don't panic! They may not have GN Drives but we still hold the advantage over them! Just like Katharon!" Descartes rallied before brandished his custom Ahead Ogre's twin scimitars and charged at Drone #1. The Drone noticed him and fired its arm wrist cannons, which the white-haired man skillfully evade the blasts before blitzing through it and cutting his enemy's arm.
The maimed Drone is undeterred and continued blasting at his back with its remaining arm wrist cannon, damaging his mobile suit that took out the left shoulder and right leg in retaliation. But it left itself wide open with Shaman's men giving it a taste of its own medicine. Soon, the fight was quickly turning against the Earth Coalition members as they are outnumbered and outgunned.
But they are not doing to die and leave their commander alone in this timeline they have landed on. Not until they found the missing M.E.G.A.S. and its time drive to return back to the future.
"There's too many of them! There's too many of them!", the Drone stated after it lost its left arm to the beam saber slash by the ogre horned-themed Ahead's scimitars.
The second Drone agreed as it suffered head damage from the particle beam blast, "Fly to the beacon's location! Fly to the beacon's location!"
"Roger! Roger!", the third Drone nodded as its blue energy shields are starting to break from the particle beam barrage from two ships.
Disengaging the superior enemy, the three EC Drones immediately left the area with Kiva's mobile suit they carry and head to where the missing M.E.G.A.S. is located through the transponder beacon signal at full speed of their rocket thrusters. The A-Laws troops gave pursuit with the two Baikal-class ships and the last remaining Laohu cruiser following along.
Within the damaged head cockpit of CMDR-KA whose systems remained inactive after being critically hit by Glorft battery fire, the unconscious redhead woman's body begins to slightly twitch.
Author's Note: Alright then, Chapter 4 of "Megas 00" is done and I hope you like it. Megas has entered the battlefield by blasting away Revive Revival which would give Celestial Being's enemies quite a headache for that. More specifically, Ribbons Almark himself when he and his cronies witnessing the entire battle slowly that is shifting now on Celestial Being's favor.
Oh the irony of Louise killing Barack Zinin and making an enemy out of Andrei Smirnov considering their canon relationship as fellow A-Laws members. Then again Barack didn't hold a high opinion on Louise to begin with but it's somewhat justified considering he sees her condition as a liability in his squad, and that he's still more sympathetic compared to Andrei who projects his ideal to Louise just to satisfy his own selfish need when he had a crush on her.
Not to worry though, the Battle of Lagrange 3 still continues on with 00 Raiser Gundam will have its moment to debut and shine on the next chapter with Feldt piloting the 0-Raiser instead of Saji. As for Kiva's mech and the Earth Coalition Drones from the future, they really somewhat roughly resemble the GN-Xs from the later half of Gundam 00 Season 1 and it's quite easy to connect them. Don't worry, I have plans for them in this story.
By the way, Coop's war cry in Megas XLR show was really "WAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!" which explains about the meme of Coop being an Ork from Warhammer 40k where he adds anything that he can find cool and unorthodox into canon Megas so long he believes that they will work and always did. Like fixing the damaged photon stabilizer with a duct tape or refueling Megas' gasoline tanks with greasy oil of his fatty cheeseburgers he kept in his pockets for example. And that he has lots of Dakka at his disposal.
Oh and, Descartes Shaman is from A Wakening of the Trailblazer and here he wasn't fully awakened as a True Innovator yet.
