Drabble. The things that Sasuke doesn't want. (Kindly read and review, good people.)
--------------
First:
Sasuke does not want his parents to be dead. He doesn't want it, but he understands that it has happened. He recognizes that the event has led him to take a series of steps that have brought him to where he is. He accepts this. He respects this. But he does not want it.
Second:
Sasuke does not want his brother to be alive. He does not accept this. He pushes every day to make it untrue.
Third:
Sasuke does not want to be weak. He doesn't know what in his blood makes him desire strength, but even when he forgets his brother, forgets his vengeance, forgets everything—just is—he hates the weakness. He wants to be strong.
Fourth:
Sasuke does not want to be a part of anything. He wants to stand alone, distant, and be. He does not want a team. Or friends. Or life. He wants existence, existence and vengeance and strength. He resents that he must be alive and therefore must be a part of everything.
Fifth:
Sasuke does not want love. He doesn't want her to be a part of him, but she is. She undeniably is. He resents that she has found his heart. He doesn't want her. Sometimes, though, he is happy she is there and unwanted.
Sixth:
Sasuke does not want dreams. He can handle ambition. He cannot accept dreams. He wants them gone. He wants to sleep in blackness and not in nightmares.
Seventh:
Sasuke does not want to care. He thought it would be easy not to, but he surprises himself. He cares. He cares for the lives (he resents) of the friends (he doesn't want). He cares for the dreams he hates, especially the dreams of others. Especially of Naruto. He doesn't know what it is with that kid, but he sure has dreams.
Eighth:
Sasuke does not want to be similar. He denies the similarities between himself and his teacher. He knows they are there.
Ninth:
Sasuke does not want to leave.
Tenth:
Sasuke does not want to not want to leave. He wants to not care about what he leaves behind, he wants to take Sakura out of his heart, he wants to take Naruto and his dreams from his mind, he wants to destroy the similarities between he and Kakashi. He wants to forget them. He wants to exist as an avenger, and leave in search of power, which he will do even though he doesn't want it. (He wants it. He doesn't want it.)
Eleventh:
Sasuke does not want to be made of things he does not want.
Last:
Sasuke does not want the moments in which he thinks that maybe, he wants all of these things after all.
