As Sunny looks at the stallion on top of the lighthouse. Sunny was angry and yelled, "Who are you!!!" The stallion looked at her with a smug on his face. "My name is Gladius orphee!!" As behind him and massive airship floated in the air, and three stallions had crystals on their hooves. "Come on boss!!" Gladius wasted no time jumping on the airship.
Gladius looked at the henchmen "GET US TO MANEHATTAN NOW!!" He said to his face with an aggressively demanding tone. "Yes, boss right away!" He quivers in fear and started to turn the airship in a different direction.
Hitch is in disbelief that this is happening all at once. As Sunny panics, she points at the ponies. "Oh no! They're taking the crystals we have to get them back!" Pipp came in to reconsider. "Wait!! We can't fly without our magic." Izzy popped up out of nowhere "Or levitate stuff!" But Hitch had no time to talk so he ran towards the airship, Zipp saw him and went for him without thinking so she ran to him to help.
"Wait!! Hitch!" She said trying to get his attention but Hitch wasn't listening he ran full speed and notice a rope loose from the ship, ran towards it jumped, and grabbed it in time.
Hitch is getting close to the deck of the ship Zipp is seeing this and she's getting worried, she looked at Pipp. "Pipp and you Izzy can you guys take care of sparky for me please." Pipp and Izzy looked at her back. "Yes of course." Zipp nodded at them and ran fast as she can to help Hitch.
Hitch is mere inches away from the deck, but the henchmen notice him in time."Hey, boss look we got a Stowaway." Gladius looked down at hitch when he was closer to the deck. When he finally made it, hitch looked at him one and one "Give the crystals back!!"
Gladius stepped on Hitches hoof, hitch grunted in pain feeling the full force, he looked eyes and said in a dark voice. "If you follow us don't expect me to be so merciful next time." He cut the rope next to him then Hitch starts to free-fall from the sky. Hitch can feel the wind breeze hitting him, as his life flashes before his eyes.
"HITCH!!" Zipp opens her wings to go rescue him, she can't fly due to magic but she can glide. "Wait!! Zipp!" Sunny said but too late Zipp didn't care she had to save him, with determination she flew but a pink aura was illuminating her giving her the will to fly.
She flew down with quick speed as she saved him just in time for him to not sleep with the fish. Hitch was surprised that he didn't get hurt or die from that, he looked behind him and see Zipp carrying him.
Also, she's flying and glowing at the same time, Sunny is mesmerized that she's flying without magic but she's also glowing pink. As they both landed Hitch came up to her and asked "How are you flying? It's impossible to fly without magic?!" Zipp looked back at him and was stunned at herself glowing."I don't know how but I feel something inside me and I don't know what is." She looked at herself even more before her pink aura disappeared.
Gladius saw what just happen and he recognize that pink aura before. He had seen it way back when friendship was magic when Canterlot was around. the henchmen looked at him and wondered what's the next move. "Umm boss uhh what now?" Gladius looked at him. "Set a course to Manehatten." The henchmen nod at him as they went in the direction where Manehatten is at.
Sunny, Zipp, and Hitch witnessed them escape. Sunny is in disbelief that the crystals are gone. She sat down and notice her rainbow highlights disappearing. She realizes that the powers of the alicorn are gone, without the unity crystals the magic is no more. "What do we do now," Sunny said as she looks down in sadness.
Pipp and Izzy showed up with Sparky but she ran to where everypony was at. "Next time Hitch and Zipp make sure that you don't leave sparky alone like that." Izzy was out of breath "And please don't give him a lot of energy that's my job!" Hitch rushed to sparky, "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry sparky I completely forgot about you I promise it won't happen again."
Bzz Bzz Bzz*Zipp took out her phone "Mom?!" Zipp said, " Zipp I need you to come back to Zephyr Heights and bring your friends with you immediately, the magic here at Zephyr is gone."Zipp is seeing the Zephyr Heights news on her phone seeing every pegasus falling without their magic to carry them. Zipp saw this and showed it to the others. "guys look!" Hitch and Sunny looked at her phone and saw the Pegasi not flying anymore. Sunny placed a hoof on her mouth in shock "Oh no!"
The mane 5 and sparky got back to the Maretime Bay and every pony asked what was going on. But Sunny is scared to tell everypony, Dalia came over and the rest of the ponies of Equestria "Sunny what happened." Sunny looked at the ponies before her. "The magic it's... it's gone." Looking at every pony with sorrow.
Zephyr Heights
Inside the kingdom of the Pegasus "What do you mean the Magic's is gone Zephyrina?!" Zipp raised an eyebrow, queen Haven the mother of Zipp and Pipp reminded the talk they had about her name. "oh sorry Zipp, I'm still used to saying your full name." Zipp nodded in agreement "It's ok mom no big deal." The Queen looked at Sunny. "Sunny what should we do." Sunny looked down "I don't know who or why would somepony take the crystals? Not to mention there's a lot of ponies who want to know why." Sunny began telling her story of how they took the crystals and destroyed the Brighthouse.
Queen haven heard the news of a pony that can conjure crystal-like powers, but that was a long time ago why now. Zipp notices the look of worry and uncertainty on her face.
"Mom are you ok?" Zipp said which made her stop her train of thought, her mom looked at her with a smile." Oh sorry, Zipp something just lost my train of thought. "Zipp nodded and looked at Sunny "So Sunny what's the plan? "Sunny looked at her confused." There is no plan Zipp!" Sunny said out loud in frustration. "We can't even have something to fly with." A little laugh came off from the queen herself. "Oh, Sunny haven't you forgotten."
Queen Haven went down to the Abandoned transport station with the mane 5. "We still have this." She gestured at the Hot Air Ballon, "You can use it to fly your way to your destination or give chase to those who are responsible for this tragedy." Zipp went closer to inspect it "Umm mom it can only hold two ponies and there is no way for all of us to fit in it." Sunny looked down. "Now what are we going to do?"
Hitch saw that his friends are in despair. He's never seen Sunny in such pain, so the best or worst idea came out of his brain. "How about me and Zipp go find the crystals." They all looked at him "WHAT?!" Hitch wince at them saying that at the same time. "Hitch What are you saying." Hitch went straight to the point, "You heard what Zipp said there are only two ponies that can fit on that air balloon. So Zipp and I should go together to get the crystals back." Pipp perches her head up just hearing that idea from him."No Hitch, we can't let you or Zipp go by yourselves." She said in an extremely serious matter.
"We don't have a clue of who or why he took the crystals, not to mention where they're going." Hitch had to relax Sunny. "Look Sunny we can do this trust me." Queen haven stands right next to Sunny "Sunny is right Hitch you can't go and Zipp can't go either.
She needs to stay here and finally train to be a proper queen one day."Zipp is her turn to feel lost. "But mom we can do this please." Queen Haven when up to her " listen, Zipp, your job is to become queen one day you can't always be a detective forever." She couldn't believe her mother doesn't support her, Zipps mind wants her to cry or fly away but she can't.
Hitch is furious at Queen Haven for not supporting her, but thinking that she can't be a detective. So Hitch can do what Hitch is best at doing is supporting his friend. " yes she can." Hitch said Haven, looked at him." I beg your pardon?" Hitch went straight to the point." Zipp can be a detective, she can choose to be one. I've known Zipp for a while now and she's an amazing Pegasus I've ever met, she's good at solving anything that I can't solve myself." Hitch then said, "Let us go and I promise that I will protect Zipp with my life, she's got my back and She's got mine."
Haven is shocked by what Hitch said, never in her entire life that somepony would defend her like that. As she looks at Hitch she can see the determination on his face and she looks at her daughter Zipp's face to see a pleasing look. She sighed " Hitch trailblazers." She said taking a deep breath " Do you have your word on protecting my daughter." Hitch looked up at her." Yes ma'am you have my word." Hitch stands tall and proud. "I will protect her with my life."
Sunny is stunned to see that the Queen is fine with this. "WHAT?! Your Highness, you can't do this." Haven looked back at Sunny " Sunny you are an alicorn your duties are here to help maintain peace." Sunny looked at her " but..." Haven went up to her. " We will discuss this later." She smiled at her and put a hoof on her shoulder. Sunny nodded " Pipp you're going to help me as well, I need you to start understanding when comes to the royal to-do list." Pipp looked at her mom with 'what expression "Can I at least live stream?" She said, "Yes you may for now." She looks at Hitch and Zipp " You guys better pack up we are counting on you."
Zipp went to her room to pack the supplies and gadgets that Izzy made her, as she finishes packing up. she heads to the door, but the door opened and it was Pipp who wanted to check on her." sooo.." Pipp walked in "Are you worried ." She ask, Zipp looked at Pipp and a picture of her mother and sister. "I am a little bit." She looks at her sister "I know Zephyr Heights is in good hooves and mom has you." She said with a smile, Pipp smiled back and she wants to try something when coming From Hitch. "So how does it feel going with Hitch." She said with a smirk.
Zipp raises an eyebrow."Umm yeah, I think it's cool going with him." She smiled at the thought that she was going with Hitch, but the way Pipp said that made her suspicious.
"Pipp is there something that I should know that's making you suspicious?" Pipp put her hoof up on her mouth "Oh, am I? Is it obvious?" Zipp nodded and noticed something behind Pipp's wings. "Pipp what are you hiding?" Pipp step back a bit and smiled. "You know I'm your sister right and sisters are supposed to tell each other everything." she takes out her diary "Well I didn't know that my sister had a crush on our friend." She said sheepishly.
Zipp's eyes popped seeing her diary. "So I found out that you have a crush on Hitch trailblazer." She said which got her angry and blushed. "You read my dairy?!" Pipp nods her head." look Zipp it's not a big deal! Besides your secret is safe with me and Sunny knows too." Zipp then let go and said "Yeah but it's not ok for you to touch my things and my privacy." she grabbed her diary. "I still haven't told Hitch about my feeling yet so I want to make It right for me to tell." Zipp said, "But I trust you both." Pipp nodded and hugged her sister. "Good luck sis and be safe," Pipp said with a smile. "I will."
Hitch and Zipp are now ready for their adventure to come, as they said their goodbyes to their friends and family. "Be careful Hitch who knows what danger lurks out there." Sunny gave Hitch and Zipp a hug including Izzy which she can be strong like the time she broke some pony's back. "Oh, Hitch here's this." Izzy gave a gadget of some kind to Hitch." What is it?" He asked "It's a unique gadget that I made for you only. If press you this button it will help but you can only use it once." She said.
Hitch thanked Izzy for the gadget and as they got on board the hot air balloon as they lift waving at their friends. They look at the sky and knew their adventure is about to begin.
