Walking down the streets the recently puppyified Molly McGee was still taking in how weird the world was now her species had changed, the first thing she noticed was that she felt extremely warm, it was her fur, it felt like she was wearing a coat all over her body, in a way it felt like she was still wearing clothes.

She instantly tried to think of something else, that was too awkward to think about.

The fact that her worldview was now blue and yellow. It made things a little odd to look at, also she couldn't see as far as before, however, her view of the world was a lot wider.

As Molly walked to the park she said hello to everyone she passed, which was a little bit more awkward because now being a dog everyone just heard a bark, most people just looked at her oddly, a few children laughed at her, and one guy was so distracted her walked into a parking meter.

Eventually, she made her way to Brighton memorial dog park.

The park was surprisingly large, with tons of room to run around and have fun in, all around her were people having fun with dogs, walking them, playing catch, and cleaning up their pet's droppings, in the middle, there was a large statue of a golden retriever with his owner.

Molly took this all in and smiled, (achieved by pulling back her lips.)

"Ahhh Brighton park a place where I can hang out with my doggy brethren."

Looking around the park there were dozens of dogs roaming around the place many with their owners, a few just running around with each other, Molly couldn't decide which to choose first.

Things started to get a little awkward when she heard something from behind her, Molly turned around to see a Chihuahua standing behind her sniffing.

"What the heck!" said Molly offended, "What are you doing?"

"Getting your sent." replied the Chihuahua, "Did you curry last night?"

Molly blushed this was too uncomfortable for her, and That was when she remembered her current dogified state.

"Oh, Yeah, Um sorry but I don't want people to smell me there."

The Chihuahua looked at her and shrugged (Of the dog version of the shrug.)

"Okay, Whatever weirdo." with that he walked off.

Molly watched him leave, "Okay Molly you just need to make sure nobody- GET BACK BUDDY." she said to an English bulldog walking up behind her.

"Sorry." replied the Bulldog.

"Okay, Molly let's keep it cool, just go for a run,"

With that Molly started to run around the park, it was weird running with four legs but she managed, eventually two other dogs followed her a Golden retriever and a black Lab, in time she stopped running the other two dogs started to circle her.

"Good run," she said slightly out of breath, "who are you guys?"

"I'm Terry," said the Retriever he then pointed his head at the Lab "and this is Charn, You?"

"Oh, I'm Molly Mc…Just Molly."

"Nice to meet you, Molly," said Charn.

"You guys come here often?"

"All the time, there's mine and Charn owners," said Terry motioning with his head to two people picking something brown off the ground with plastic bags in their hands. "they're picking up the mess we just made."

"Oh," said Molly weirded out by the fact that they were casual about their business, "That's nice."

"Yeah humans are great for that, Where's yours?"

Molly froze, "Umm, there at home."

Terry and Charn's looks changed, "You mean your owners aren't here?" asked Terry.

"No," said Molly confused.

"Terry." whispered Charn, "She's got no collar."

Terry gulped, Molly got the feeling something was wrong.

"Yeah I noticed," he then paused, looking bashful, "Molly are you stray?"

Moly was quiet for a second, "Um no? Why?"

Terry looked at her in disbelief, "Okay, so I don't have a problem with strays being here but well our owners won't like us hanging out with you, they don't like that, Said the Retriever nicely.

"Heck if they see us with you, they're going to call the dog catcher," said Charn.

"Molly's eyes widened a little, "Oh."

"Yeah, we'll go now, Be careful Molly, You seem nice but you know."

Molly felt slightly hurt by that, but nodded "Okay, Bye."

The two dogs ran, Molly felt a little down about this but hey, she was still cute maybe she could find some other dogs to hang out with, she still had six hours.

As she walked around the park she noticed how many dogs actually did have collars, She regretted not thinking this plan over, well whatever things would be fine, she just needed to find someone else to hand out.

All of a sudden she smelt something extraordinary, a scent so intoxicating it distracted her from everything else.

She followed the smell as far as she could until she found the source,

It was a burger, that had fallen to the floor, it was covered in fliest and probably had been out in the sun too long.

Normally Molly would have walked away from it, however in her new canine state it looked really good, she was drooling over it, she opened her jaws and then closed them.

"No, I will not give in to that, I will not just eat" she paused and looked at the burger, it looked so good to a dog, she fought harder, "No, I won't, I will never, I will not."

She did.

Five minutes later Molly felt nothing but shame.

She continued to walk around the park until she heard the noise of laughter coming closer, she turned to see a group of four young children all around five years old running up to her, they had blonde hair and green eyes, they looked like they were all siblings, Molly smiled maybe they where coming to pet her, this could possibly be good.

The moment the first of the children went to her things went wrong, a young boy started to stroke her really hard it was incredibly uncomfortable. then another started to pull her fur. Another patted her head too hard and another was pulling her tail.

Molly was in pain and just wanted to be let out of this crowd of giggling children, she barked, again and again, to try and get them to leave her alone,

"HEY LEAVE ME ALONE," she barked.

On the plus side the children backed away from her, on the other hand, her barking must have sounded a lot more terrifying than she meant it to, they were crying looking extremely upset.

"Mean doggie." said one of the children

Molly was terrified, "No I'm sorry I didn't mean to, I just…"

An angry woman was walking up to Molly extremely annoyed, she was wearing crocks, jeans, a white shirt, and a short asymmetrical haircut, Molly instantly thought Karen

"Who's dog is this, they just barked rudely at my kids."

"Your kids were hurting me lady it's not my fault that… You can't understand me I'm wasting my time aren't I," said Molly realizing how pointless her task was.

The Karen backed away instantly "It's now barking at me. Someone do something."

All of a sudden a man in a gray uniform holding a net in his hands jumped out of nowhere, He had gray skin, a thin mustache, and was hiding a bald spot underneath his cap. "Don't worry as an official dog catcher of the city I'll catch this beast."

The Karen looked at the man, "Um…do we even have dog catchers anymore, I mean I figured that an Animal Control Officer would come and help me, Someone who seems capable of taking care of this creature" she said showing a surprising amount of intelligence for the stereotypical Karen.

The dog catcher stood there embarrassed, "Really bad budget cuts," he then changed into a heroic stance, "But I must do my duty," he boomed.

Molly sighed "Of course," she barked before running away, with the dog catcher following her.

As the two ran through the par Molly was slowly coming to the conclusion that being a dog was not fun, she had been gone for almost an hour now and she was being chased by this mad man.

There was one way out of this.

"Scratch, she barked, "Scratch."

Nothing came, either he couldn't hear her or the fact that she was now a dog meant she technically wasn't saying his name when she barked.

"Ugh, seriously?" Molly kept running the dog catcher's net was close to her, in a matter of moments, she'd be captured and up in some sort of pound.

She briefly thought of the cartoons she watched, they always looked like dismal places, sure she had volunteered in nicer places but she was still worried it could be pretty bad.

All of a sudden she heard the noise of barking and two gods running towards her, it was Terry and Charn.

"Molly keep running we'll distract him," said Terry who ran at the dog catcher, he collided with the tall man's legs.

the dog catcher fell over with an oof, and the net landed on the floor.

"Thanks but what about-"

"We'll be told we're bad dogs, if they get you it'll be far worse, just go," said Charn who picked up the dropped net and ran off with it, the dog catcher started to chase her while Terry chased him barking.

Molly nodded and ran off, "Thanks, I owe you guys."

She ran out of the park and kept running, eventually, she found an alleyway to hide down.

She stopped and took her breath, "Okay so maybe this has been a total disaster but hey, let's be honest we've been through worse," Molly said, "Besides it can't get worse.

"Molly McGee what have you done." Said a familiar voice from behind her.

Molly realized who it was instantly, It was Libby.

She turned around expecting to see a tall lanky girl behind her.

Instead, she saw a bloodhound gazing at her annoyed, at the blood feet was a familiar water bottle.

The former human put one and one together.

"Libby?"

"Yes" replied the bloodhound annoyed.

Molly gulped things were getting more awkward, "Opps."

She then smiled, "I'm sorry but can I just say your adorable.

Libby glared harder.
