Chapter 2: The Begin of Ragnarok and The Fate of the Multiverse! The Demonic One-Eyed Pirate Hunter Swordsman vs the Strongest Royal Golden Guard of Osoyk! Part 2
Joe and Zoro have a serious stare down, the tension was getting high and suffocating. The alien warrior and pirate swordsman were ready to exchange blows with the intent to kill, Joe was done playing with this human and Zoro wasn't going to lose to someone that thought he was easy to defeat.
Joe didn't waste any time making the first move, moving faster than anyone could blink, he in front of the swordsman in only moments and swung his spear right at his neck, Zoro blocked but the force behind his swing was more powerful than he thought and sent skidding across the arena. Zoro unleash a few air slashes right at Joe but he deflect them with a single swing, Joe rush forward and drivers a barrage of thrust right at him causing Zoro to deflect and block them all, Joe pick up the speed the pirate swordsman was still able to keep up for the most but so it reach the point it was a huge blur and Zoro was slowly pushed back and soon even a few of the deadly strikes hit him, cutting his right arm, left leg, right side of his torso and a nick on his left cheek but the pirate swordsman wasn't going to give up just yet and put more power into his sword swings it got even more difficult when Joe added his second spear that moved at the same speed and Zoro find himself getting cut up and push back and no matter how fast he block Joe's is able to surpass that and nearly kill him, Joe delivers a truly powerful thrust with both spear that would killed him if he didn't block with both swords and coated his legs in Armament Haki the force of the strike sent him skidding across the arena and into the wall.
Zoro let out a groan and before he even get a chance to even catch his breath, Joe us in front of him and delivers a powerful downward swing that was intended to split his skull and body in half but Zoro block the strike and his feet sunk deep into the ground from the force of the blow, just when the pirate swordsman thought it was over, he felt a sharp pain and saw that Joe had stab him right in the abdomen, the royal guard used the first strike as a diversion to free attack him. He spat out body and flexed his muscle to the max and infused it with his Haki to keep it from going any deeper.
"Your pretty tough, I'll be honest with you lasted longer than I thought you would." Joe told him in a calm and impressed tone. "But this fight is over for you but don't be too upset, you're only human after all." He said, lifting up the spear that stabbed Zoro.
Zoro grunted in pain as his blood dripped down the spear he could feel the blade slowly sinking deeper into his abdomen. Humanity started to dread the worse as they wanted sight before them.
On the balcony of Humanity
"Oh no! Big Sis, Zoro is in a situation! Are we going to lose so soon!?" Geir shouted, panicking.
"Be calm, Geir." Brunhild told her but a cold sweat was forming on her forehead.
"Have faith in Zoro, Sisters." Hrist told them. "Remember this is the man that swore he would never lose again and survive all of my personal hellish training." She stated.
"Mr. Hrist is right, we must have faith in Zoro!" A voice shouted from behind them, it was Rengoku the Flame Hashira.
"Ah your Rengoku!" Geir said surprised.
"Coming to watch the fight to learn just how deadly your enemy is?" Brunhild asked him.
"I came to support a comrade!" Rengoku said with his classic smile. "Even though Zoro is in a tight situation I believe in his strength and will!" He shouted proudly.
"Hot Head is right, after enduring all that training and non-stop fighting I doubt Pirate Boy will fall so quickly." Yoruichi the Flash Goddess said, agreeing with Rengoku.
"I agree with Young Rengoku, Young Zoro is strong and will find a way out of this." All Might the Symbol of Peace said with a smile.
"Sure hope so, it would look bad if we lost the first round after all that training." Deadshot the One-Shot Kill Assassin said, observing the fight closely.
"He better win so I can get my turn in the ring next!" Mereoleona the Flaming Lioness said with a savage bloodthirsty smile.
"I have to agree with ya, I'm itching to fight a strong opponent real soon." Ohma Tokita the Ashura said with an excited smirk.
"This is only the beginning of this fight, I'm sure Zoro will find a way out of this." Kiua Liang, the Leader of the Lin Kui said calmly.
"Hopefully soon, if he takes too long then he'll be in big trouble." Laxus Dreyar the Lightning Dragon Slayer said in an even tone.
"We still need to have faith in him, he's a strong and experienced fighter." Captain Marvel the Living Supernova said firmly.
"Good Grief, that guy sure is a hand-full." Jotaro Kujo, the Time-Stopping Delinquent said, keeping his eyes on the fight.
"That swordsman better hurry up or he'll lose and get killed." Garou the Human Monster Hunter said calmly.
"I'm sure he'll win, I hope at least." Yang Xiao Lang the Yellow Brawler said, hoping Zoro gets out of this.
All the fighters for Humanity were here to support their comrade and get a closer and clear look at the type of foe they'll be up against and each one of them were wearing the same robe that Zoro had.
On the balcony of the Galactic Empire
Prince Imukat was now getting intrigue, not a lot of fighters were able to land and direct hit on Joe let alone make him bleed and this human was able to do it.
"Well ain't this something, this human is something else. He's pretty strong for an ape." Prince Imukat said, getting intrigued.
"Indeed your Majesty." Mekao said, agreeing. "It seems like Brunhild taught this human a few galactic techniques."
"I can see that, I wonder how this human will handle Joe when he starts showing his true might." Prince Imukat said, smiling.
"The moment Joe uses his true power it is over for that human, no matter how strong an ape is it can never beat a tiger." A male voice said, it was an alien that looked like a blue tiger man with orange eyes and blonde hair and was wearing a tight red tank top along with some black pants and matching boots, this was Shunkan Görles.
"Indeed, his power isn't even that terrifying but his swordplay is decent enough considering he was able to make Joe bleed." A female voice said, it was an alien girl that had gray skin, pink hair, yellow eyes, and was wearing a green and teal scaly outfit with dark gray armor, she looked human-like but her skin was that of a reptile, this was Momogarus.
"Hmmm, I am surprised by the fact that the humans chose a pirate to represent them, though they'd show us the best of humanity instead of those that thrive in the dark. Even so this scum will fall like the rest of Joe's enemies." A female voice said, it was a light blue skin with long blonde and dark blue hair, blue eyes, and some black lipstick, she was wearing a black full bodysuit with red sleeves and silver armor, one her shoulder was light pink space worm, this was Lady Vermoki Amoki.
"This human seems simple-minded and if he thinks that this is the limit of Joe's power he is sadly mistaken plus his level of power is nothing to feel threatened by." A male voice said not impressed, it was a green skinned alien with glowing red eyes and a body that looked like it was made of energy, his body was large and bulky, he was wearing a black and white armor suit along with a scanner on his head, this was Agemo WA.
"It is amusing to watch this human struggle and think just because he made Joe bleed he stands a chance." A male voice said, it was an alien that had pale blue skin, black and yellow eyes, long ebony black hair, his body was lean and toned, he was wearing a black mouth cover along with a green and golden outfit with a black cape and matching gloves, this was Saluvia Amilotxe.
"Heh, Joe, you really wanted to go first to have a fun challenge. Personally I would have gone for a beautiful headshot myself if I had gone." A male voice said, it was a snake alien that had dark green scaly skin, yellow reptile eyes, a set of fangs and black hair. He was wearing a green and black outfit with camouflage detail on it, he had scope like goggles and a high-tech sniper on his back, this was Mǎngsoge. "I have no idea why they're using such basic weapons."
"Joe is upset from taking a direct hit from this human and based on the emotions he gives off he plans on making this human suffer for that." A female voice said, it was the same alien mantis girl from before, this is Samagomol.
"This Swordsman is not a dude, but a man, a handsome muscular man. It's like a pirate made a baby with an angel." A male voice said in complete awe, it was alien that red skin with blue and white eyes, he had a muscle tone body and wore a black and gray sleeves shirt and matching pants that had red detail and sask around his waist, black stealth like shoes, and a red and black ninja mask.
"Seems earth has some soldiers. He doesn't even seem like a soldier but given the fact he's a pirate it's understandable." A male voice said, sounding a bit robotic, it was a huge and bulky alien suit of high-tech heavy duty armor that was red, gold and silver, this was Metakkyū.
"Hmmm, this makes me wanna go fight my opponent soon, but I must see if I can actually get a good fight." A wise male voice said, it was an alien with pale red skin with clear eyes, white hair and a long white beard. His body was covered in battle scars, he wore purple pants and a purple open vest and was barefoot, this was Ustijūhc Chuán.
"Impressive, this human is definitely stronger than most swordsmen, I give him a solid six." A deep male voice said amused, this alien had chalk white skin with blood red eyes and long black and gray hair in a ponytail, he wore a black shirt along with baggy black pants with a white belt, white socks and gray sandals, a white cape that had the Galactic symbol for God, a few pieces of armor on his legs, arms, shoulders, and chest, this was Ryuya-no-Mikoto. "What do you think, Griskuim?" He asked.
"Hmmm." Griskuim said, he was a tall and muscular gray skin alien, with pure black eyes and a stone face frown, and wore a simple black bodysuit and white boots.
"Well ain't this interesting, all 12 Champions of the Galactic Empire here before me. Come to get a closer look at the fight?" Prince Imukat asked, smiling.
"You could say that your Majesty, guess we want to see just how strong Humanity's champions were." Ryuya-no-Mikoto answered.
"I see, well I advise you to watch closely. These are warriors hand picked by Brunhild and knowing her, she must have taught them a few new tricks." Prince Imukat told them.
"Brunhild…" Lady Vermoki Amoki said with a sneer.
Meanwhile back in the arena, Zoro was in great pain as he blood dripped to the ground. Joe aimed his other spear right at his head, he saw him suffer enough and was going to end him now, he thrust forward but Zoro blocked with one of his swords.
"Damn it, I need to get free. If I don't I'll be killed, I can't lose, I can't die like this… I made a promise!" Zoro thought, remembering his promise to Luffy.
Zoro felt Joe put more power into his other spear and that caused the pirate swordsman to tighten his grip on his other sword and swing it against the spear that was holding him up but the material was tough. Zoro had no choice but to let go of his swords and grab the spear with both hands and put all his power into throwing himself off the spear, he took his sword out of his mouth and spitting out a bit of blood and clenched the wound on his abdomen and keep his muscle flexed to keep the blood was spilling out, he made sure to keep his distance from Joe.
"Breathe, just breathe in and out." Zoro thought, trying to calm his breathing.
Zoro breathed in an out and soon his wound stop bleeding and to keep it seal out, he rip off a piece of his robe and wrap it around his wound and made sure it was tight, he turn to face Joe once more, the Golden Guard just smile at him and Zoro saw that he had both his others swords, Sandai Kitetsu and Enma floating right behind him making the swordsman "tch" at this.
"Are these yours? Quite a shame really, these swords have great detail and were treated with great care. You really need to treat your things with more care and not let go so carelessly, never know what could happen to them." Joe said, taunting Zoro.
Zoro glares at him and tightened the grip on Wado Ichimonji, he doesn't say a word and merely lunge forward and goes to cut him at full force but Joe block with his spear, Zoro doesn't stop and continue to unleash deadly sword slashes it didn't fazed Joe as he was able to keep up with ease and knocked Zoro back with swing then decided to play around with him a bit. Joe used sent Zoro's own swords right at him causing the swordsman to block and fight against his own swords, he kept blocking and knocking them back they weren't letting up, Joe look at him in a mocking way as he made the swordsman struggle against his own weapon and the moment Zoro tries to grab one of them Joe pull them back. Zoro charge right at him but Joe makes another Plasma Bolt and throw it at him but the pirate hunter dodge it and swing his sword right at him neck but the golden guard block with Zoro's swords and tries to cut him in half but Zoro back away using Instant Reaction but he wasn't fast enough get cut across the chest creating a X mark, he gritted his teeth, Joe goes on the offensive by swinging and thrusting his spears at Zoro and also use Zoro's swords as well, the pirate swordsman was getting push back and with one sword he wasn't able to block all the attacks, he was getting cut all over his body, his right arm, his left legs, the right side of his torso, the right side of his waist, his right shoulder, and his left forearm even when Zoro using the breathing technique he learn from Rengoku it only stop the breathing, Joe hit him with Swirl Death Thrust in which he spun his spear at high speed and thrust that speed of sound and aim for his heart but Zoro used all his might to parry it and dodge at the same time but his right side of his torso was grazed causing blood to spill, making Zoro grit his teeth in pain at this point Joe was growing bored and begin to channel his power and unleash lightning from his body and coated himself in it and attack with Judgment of the Golden Guard, giving Zoro a nasty shock and sending back.
"Dammit, that one hurt a lot." Zoro thought, trying to stand on his feet. "This guy is strong and isn't giving me the chance to fight back." He thought, gripping his sword.
Joe unleashes a blast of lightning right at him, Zoro move as fast as he could to avoid making more nasty shock likes from before, Zoro counter with a air slash but Joe take it out with another blast of lightning and lands a direct him, giving Zoro a killer shock and temporarily stunning him.
"Time to end you, it was real fun but it's over Swordsman." Joe said, lunging forward with his spear ready to pierce right through him.
Zoro felt his mind going back to his time fighting and training with the other human fighters.
Flashback
Zoro and Rengoku were in an intense sparring match, the Flame Hashira and Pirate Swordsman were swinging both shirtless and swinging their blades with such fury and speed which was almost a blur as sparks flash off. Zoro was using two swords while Rengoku used one and as they fight grew more intense, Zoro hit Rengoku with a strong right swing that sent him back and knocked his sword out of his hand.
"That point, Rengoku." Zoro told him, he put his swords away and held him up.
"Hahaha, you really are strong Zoro." Rengoku said, a smile on his face.
"You're pretty tough yourself, you're getting stronger the more you do the physical training I told you I did." Zoro said, wiping sweat away.
"It is very difficult but I can feel myself getting stronger the more I train." Regoku said, observing the muscle that was growing more toned on his body. "How is your use of the Breathe going?" He asked.
"It's a bit tricky but I think I'm getting the hang of it although I don't think I'll be able to use that Flame Breathing you use." Zoro told him, practicing his breathing.
"I see well I'm sure whatever Breath you use or if you're unable to use it I'm sure the training of it will prove a handful in your fight." Rengoku told him, believing in the swordsman.
"Enough talking! You two come at him with all you got, that means strike with the intent to kill or I'll crush you both!" Hrist shouting at the two, having her own sword out. "If you two hope to stand a chance then fight me with everything you got and use what you've learned from me if you hope to even survive!"
Zoro and Rengoku drew their swords once more and charged right at Hrist and fought against her with all they got, with Zoro using all three swords and Rengoku suing his Flame Breathing the two put everything they got in their fight but the Valkyrie knocked them back and by the end they were covered in blood and heavy bruises but they were still standing. Hrist sent Rengoku flying away and fight against Zoro one-on-one in a intense fight of strength and Zoro used his breathing technique to last longer use his all to fight but Hrist smash him into the ground with the blunt end of her blade, he gritted his teeth and slowly get back up and as Hrist was about to do again Rengoku came right at her and fight her with all his physical might, Zoro get to his feet and breathes in and out until he felt something off and closed his eye work with the strange sensation, he inhaled and exhaled as he pull all two of his swords away and held Wado Ichimonji with both hands, he inhale and exhale a misty like breath and reopen his eye and strike!
Hrist had Rengoku pin to the ground and was about to knock him out when the Valkyrie sensed something coming her away. It was all a blur to right once more he was standing the next thing he knew was in front of Hrist and saw a cut on her right shoulder even when she blocked, she was stunned with awe.
End of Flashback
Zoro took a deep breath and exhaled and gripped Wado Ichimonji, and saw Joe closed in he felt something was off with Zoro, the swordsman released a misty breath from his mouth and the look in his eye was serious.
"One Sword Style; Demonic Breathing: Savage Gale of Fujin!" Zoro said, a misty white aura around his sword.
Zoro created a large green tornado infused with Haki that knocked away his two swords and Joe's spear right out of his hands and sent him flying back, cutting him up multiple times. Joe had guarded against it with all four arms to protect himself, more of his blood dripped down as his arms were covered in small cuts and the gauntlet on them were destroyed, his armor was covered in cuts as well, this surprised everyone.
Zoro exhaled and took a knee, panting as the sheer power of the attack took a lot out of him but it was very effective, he had did it he really did it, he used Breathe even if it was different than the usual one and by no means it was perfect but it worked.
On the balcony of Humanity
"HAHAHAHAHA! HE DID IT! HE REALLY FUCKING DID IT!" Hrist was laughing with the biggest shit-eating grin on her face.
"He did it, Zoro was really able to use it." Rengoku said in awe.
"I-I'm confused, what just happened!?" Geir shouted, unable to understand what happened.
"Zoro just uses an odd version of the Breathing Technique that Demon Slayer uses." Brunhild told her. "Isn't that right, Hrist?" She asked her sister.
"You bet your ass he did! He sent that smug ass prick of a royal guard flying!" Hrist said, still laughing.
"I always knew Zoro could do it but it's unusual from more Breath I've seen, even Young Tanjiro's." Rengoku said, a proud smile on his face.
"That's because it is an incomplete use of Breathe, due to the very nature and strength Zoro's body is unable to use it completely so he infused it with his Haki." Brunhild told him. "Though due to the overwhelming power of it a lot of Zoro's stamina has dropped."
"Even so, does Zoro still have a chance against Joe with it?" Geir asked her.
"We have to watch and see, Geir." Brunhild told her.
Back in the arena, Zoro was catching his breath and felt drained after his Demonic Breathing, he never thought using a breathing technique in such a way would take so much out of him. Zoro picks himself up and remove his jacket and shirt and reveal his bare muscular chest, he was about to retrieve his other swords but Joe's spear came right at him, so reacting fast he grabs it to stab it from piercing his heart and was push back by the sheer force, this distracted him for a moment and that left him open for his last sword, Wado Ichimonji to be pull out his hand, Zoro quickly grabs the spear with both hands and use all his strength to keep it away from his chest, he bulk up his bicep and throw it to the sky, Zoro was panting and now had no swords. Joe had a serious face and it was revealed that his waist and torso were cut and bleeding out at the moment he grabs his other spear and uses his lightning to superheat the blade and cauterize the wounds, he grit his teeth and suck in air from the pain but he endured it.
"That one actual hurt, if I hadn't stopped the bleeding that would have been trouble for me." Joe told him. "You're pretty dangerous with a sword but let's see how long you last without any swords, against the force of a thousand weapons." He said, a furious smile on his face.
At this point Zoro knew Joe's ability was similar to Kidd's magnetic ability and Enel's lightning ability but only on a whole different level, that point was proven right at this moment when Joe started floating high to the sky and raise his finger right to the sky and in that moment every metallic weapon was pull from the every member from the crowd, soon every weapon of every kind was floating behind Joe, he crush and grind them and change them to long razor sharp blades.
"Tch, talk about a pain in the ass." Zoro said, a cold sweat forming and saw that he was in a real pickle.
"Let's see how long it takes to turn you into a human pin-cushion." Joe said, the furious smile still on his face.
Joe attacked with Wrath of the Gray Rain, the long blades of metal came down and attack Zoro, the pirate swordsman start making a run for it and dodge them as best as he could but whenever the miss him Joe just manipulated them to follow Zoro, he suffer a few small cuts on his arms and legs but nothing fatal, yet. And most of all, he made sure not even one of them some much as came close to his back, the blades were getting faster and one pierce right through and right arm and left leg, Zoro gritted his teeth and pull them both out and would have use them but Joe tries to have them stab him in the neck so he toss them to the side. Things weren't looking good for him, he had no swords and his body was still a bit drained and was getting cut up. Joe thought victory was his and that all he needed to do was wait for him to get skewed by all these blades, Zoro lost his swords before and was still able to be a threat and was going to prove that to Joe because he was going to become the World's Strongest Zoro! He coated his arms in Armament Haki and took his Three Sword Style stance and finally used his Observation Haki to find out where the blades would be coming from, and it was all of them.
Joe had all of them rush at Zoro and as they came right at the pirate hunter, Zoro merely inhaled and used, No Sword Style: Dragon Twister the powerful force of wind knocks all of them back and even shatters most of them! Zoro exhaled and wince in pain, he was bleeding use the Recovery Breathing he learn from Rengoku to stop the bleeding, he wish he had more time to recovery but Joe wasn't going to let him and sent more of the blades at him by using Electro-Negative, Zoro block with his haki coated arms but knew he would need more than that until he could get one of his swords back, he saw it was time to use another one of the galactic technique he was taught, he focus and dug deep and soon a black and dark purple aura with green sparks came off his body, he even had a glowing red eye and he was doing spear hands technique, one of the blade came right at him and without a second thought Zoro did a slash motion and chop the blade in half, came follow and the same thing happened, Zoro was chopping through as if they were made of paper it was like he was almost fighting with swords with how fast and hard he was chopping this shock Joe and all that watch. The Golden Guard "tch" in frustration and decided to get involve and lunge forward and throws a few Plasma Bolts but Zoro cut them in half and would as he close the distance between them with Instant Reaction but Joe soar above him and call all the metal blades and has them form around all four of his arms and created more deadly arms with sharp claws, Joe attack with Blades of the Blue Spider unleashing a flurry was fast slashes right at Zoro but he was able to keep up and block every strike with his arms.
On the balcony of Humanity
"Sister, what's going on with Zoro!? Why does he look so scary!?" Geir asked.
"That is just the effect of the technique he learned, Combat Aura. It gives one the ability to pull the energy within one's self and release it outwards to strengthen their own body, like Ki energy. It's just a guess but likely due to unlocking his Haki and the odd demonic nature he gives off it's likely why he looks terrifying. As for what he doing that would be another one of Hrist's techniques, right?" Brunhild asked.
"Your right sister." Hrist said, acting like her calm self once more. "It's called, Inner Blade Hand, basically you make your hand as strong, as hard, and sharp as a real sword." She explained, and with a smooth and fast motion she cut a column with her bare hand.
"Wow, Zoro is awesome. I wonder how many more techniques he's learned." Geir said, watching the fight.
"He's just built different." Hrist said with an impressed smirk.
Back in the arena, Zoro continue to fight off against Joe and it was proving to be quite difficult for the royal guard, Joe tries to attack with a right claw wipe but Zoro block with his left arm and counter with right arm slash to the makeshift arm, Joe use his other makeshift arm to try and skewed Zoro but he used Instant Reaction to dodge and in close and attack with No Sword Style: Black Rope Dragon Twister unleash a large tornado infused with Haki that sent Joe flying to the sky, he let out frustrated growl and channel electricity through his deadly makeshift arms and heats them up until their glowing red, he lunge right at Zoro and attacks with Rage of the Crimson Spider but Zoro counter with No Sword Style: Tiger's Claw in which Zoro focus the aura around his right arm and unleash a powerful green energy slash which cut through the one of the makeshift arms and the left side of Joe's torso. The royal guard tries again but this Zoro dodge and attack No Sword Style: Two Gorilla Slash taking out both makeshift arms, Joe backs away and calls back his spears, he panting a bit those moves drain him a bit.
"It seems like a regular weapon won't, I guess I'll have to use something more heavy and durable." Joe thought, looking to the sky for a bit.
Zoro let out calm and even breathes, he saw Joe was winded as well and took the time to use Recovery Breathing to gain back his stamina and make sure to seal up his wounds. Joe raises his spear high to the sky and releases a wave of magnetic energy, Zoro raises his brow at this and ready himself. Joe then brought his spear down and at first nothing happened then Zoro saw something falling from the sky, he tries destroy it was the object was to tough and so he back away and saw it was a old satellite, Joe uses Constellation Meteor Shower to crush as all kinds of metal space junk came dropping down from the sky. Zoro was dodging all the incoming space junk that would had crush him, he tried using his Inner Blade Hand slashes but the space junk was thicker and much heavier plus he didn't have enough energy left maintain his Combat Aura so he undid it to conserve the rest of his stamina, he saw one of his swords not to far and made a dash for it. Joe saw this and was about to call the sword back but Zoro use Instant Reaction to get in close and out of all the swords he grabs it was Enma but Zoro couldn't be picky at the moment the next piece of space junk that came right at him he clenched the cursed sword with both hand and slash in half, more follow and Zoro move and strike like a true swordsman it was a sight to behold, he dodge and cut which such strength and precision it prove his swordplay skill was on another level. Soon the space junk had stopped following, the arena was wrecked and yet Zoro and Joe were still standing and now the pirate swordsman had a sword in his hand.
"Geez, this guy is something else. He's a tough one to kill, I hate to admit but this guy is strong." Joe thought, looking at his wounds.
Zoro inhaled and exhaled, he charged forward at Joe and swung his sword down right at him but Joe blocked with both spears and felt his feet sink into the ground by the sheer force and power of Zoro's strike. The two exchange strikes with their weapons at a fast and and intense pace, they moving so fast it creates a blur as spark fly everywhere, Zoro land a cut across Joe's right leg while Joe slash Zoro across his left arm, Zoro slashes Joe's abdomen, Joe cut Zoro's chest, Zoro aim to stab Joe but he parry the strike take his turn to stab but Zoro deflects the attack and strike him with One Sword Style: Lethal Lion Song getting Joe across the chest once more but he was cut across the abdomen once more, both of them spit up blood and are cover in cuts and their own blood, Zoro was about to aim for the Joe's neck but then Enma starting acting up, Zoro felt it draining him of his Haki and was growing weaker as a demonic-like aura come off the cursed blade!
"D-Damn! Now of all time for you to be acting up, Enma!" Zoro said, trying to control the blade.
Zoro fights against the force of Enma and his arms go from his natural bulk to bone skinny, he gritted his teeth and couldn't understand why this was happening, Joe saw this and was going to strike but he winced in pain and took the time to cauterize his wounds.
Zoro gritted his teeth as Enma continued to act up, after so long after all the training he did and now in the middle of a fight it chose to give him a problem now!
"What the hell!? What is with you, Enma!?" Zoro thought.
He begins to think over everything he learned while in Wano, the legendary swordsmith, the story of the 12 Supreme Grade Blades, and his very own childhood. Like how he met an oldman that talked about how name swords weren't really cursed and what they were made to do and how he made a very special blade, Lord of the Underworld; Enma! It clicked with Zoro how the oldman was a swordsmith, Shimotsuki Kozaburo.
"That's what it is doing… Enma is testing me!" Zoro thought.
He didn't have any more time to think about that because Joe finished sealing his swords and charged forward right at Zoro! He attack with Twin Swirl Death Thrust, speeding his spear even faster and cover them in electricity, Zoro unleash a overwhelming amount of Haki into Enma then use his Demonic Breathing, the moment Joe was within range, Zoro activate Combat Aura once more and parries the strikes attack!
"One Sword Style; Demonic Breathing: Unholy Wrath of Izanami-no-Mikoto!" Zoro shouted, a misty white aura with black bolts around Enma.
Zoro delivers two slashes to the chest, cutting Joe's armor and chest which cause blood to spill out and make him cough of some of his blood. Joe staggered back and clenched his new wound, it was much deeper than before, Zoro was panting heavily and undid his Combat Aura the power of his Demonic Breathing took a lot out of him.
"I get it now, Enma wasn't doing this out of malice. That just means I wasn't living up to it's standards! You're telling me… Oden was able to wield you so I should do the same! Isn't that right, Enma!?" Zoro said seriously, gripping the blade tightly.
A wave of force blasted off him and soon humans and aliens alike began to pass out, confusing many of them and surprising a few!
"Geez, are you even human?" Joe said, spitting up blood. "It kills me to say this but this human is a real monster! Man, I sure got one heck of an opponent. The aura he's giving off is so demonic!" He thought, looking at his wound. "I'm in quite a pickle, wouldn't you say your Majesty? Not feeling so confident now but if it's for you, I'll fight anyone!" He thought firmly, wiping blood off his face and flashing a determined smile.
Flashback
Joe's past was not a good one, at a young age his whole race was struggling to survive because they were going extinct due to the threat of battle-hungry Warmongers and their Leader, Norrag the Terrifying. Joe's species was only able to survive because of Prince Imukat's father and with the help of breeding camps. Joe's and his 11 eleven brothers were born but didn't know they're fathers, they were being raised to fight the war. But a stroke of fate the young alien would have his life changed.
Joe was currently messing with a pile of dirt with a stick, a lot of boredom and emptiness on his face. He was covered in dirt and dry bleed and wore raggy clothes, he was all by himself and then out of nowhere a young Prince Imukat came up to him, looking at with interest and curiosity.
"What do you want?" Joe asked him.
"Nothing much, what are you doing?" Young Prince Imukat asked him.
"What do you think?" Joe said rudely. "Aren't you the Prince of the Galactic Kingdom?"
"Yep, the one and only." Prince Imukat said proudly.
"What are you doing here in a place like this?" Joe asked him.
"Why wouldn't I be here? Shouldn't a Ruler be where he's needed?" Prince Imukat said, like it was the most obvious thing.
Joe looked at him in shock at his words, he never thought there would be someone who was Galactic Royalty would think that way. After the young Prince and Joe would play and as time passed Prince Imukat would visit Joe to hang out and just talk but one day Norrag found the breeding camp and attack almost left no survivors, Joe and his brothers were only able to survive because their mother hid them and Prince Imukat and his Royal Army drive the Warmonger away, Joe own the prince a great debt and after Joe would train and train to be the strongest.
When Joe was fully grown he hunted down Norrag and his Warmongers on a far off planet with only the thought of revenge on his mind. He found Norrag's camp and him laughing like an idiot as he stuffed his face, Joe walked right into the camp with both his spears in hand, Norrag was a giant beastly alien with orange brown skin, red eyes, and tusk on his lower jaw, he look like some kind of space orc, his outfit look like a barbarian and viking combine, wearing black and golden armor and helmet and large sword made of bones.
"Oh, what do we have here?" Norrag said, looking at Joe.
"Nothing one much, just one of the children of people you've killed." Joe said in a friendly tone.
"Oh?" Norrag said, he narrowed his eyes. "I see you from the race of four cretins, such weak and tiny things… but sure are delicious." He said, then laughed out loud.
His monstrous goons laughed with him, Joe was boiling with untold fury and rage but kept his smile on his face, keeping his anger contained.
"What are you doing here anyway? Come to join my army?" Norrag asked. "Or… have you come to die?" He said in a sinister tone.
"No, actually I've come to kill you." Joe told him.
Norrag raised his brow and laughed even harder and once more his horde joined him, this continued until Joe swung his spear at one of the goons and their throat was slit open, causing blood to gush out as they fell and choked on their own blood. This cause everyone to stop laughing and Norrag was now glaring at him.
"Big mistake, brat. Now I'm gonna slowly rip you apart and eat every last piece of you down to the last drop of blood." Norrag growled.
The fight between Joe and Norrag was intense and bloody and by the end of it Joe had slaughtered about 98% of the camp all with a terrifying smile on his face, he enjoyed listening to the scream of the Warmongers as he killed them. Now he was covered in blood and guts as mangle corpses surrounded him.
Joe would have gone on a genocide but Prince Imukat appeared and talked him down and for the sake of their friendship Joe stopped. From that Joe pledged his loyalty to the Prince and swore to never lose and always protect and if Prince Imukat ordered it, Joe would slaughter armies and planets and have fun doing it.
End of Flashback
Joe spat out more blood and it was clear to him and everyone else that humans were no pushover. He could no longer see Zoro as someone below him, no this pirate swordsman was strong as much as it pained him to admit it.
"M-Man, this sure hurt a lot." Joe said, looking at his chest wound. "Props to you, not a lot of fighters and wound me this badly."
"Hmph, guess this fight wasn't as easy as you thought would be, huh?" Zoro said, keeping his guard up.
"Yep, pretty much." Joe admitted. "But even so, I can't afford to lose." He said determined.
"Neither can I." Zoro told him, just as determined.
Zoro was still recovering from using Demonic Breathing and was still two swords down, he was fighting at full force with his Haki and if he fought too long doing so he could die. Joe was panting and superheated his spear once more and burned the wound shut.
"If I want a chance to beat this guy I'll need all three of my swords!" Zoro thought, looking around his other swords.
Once Joe had his injures shut he continue the fight once more, Zoro raise his blade and blocked the strike and force Joe back with all his might and unleash a barrage of Haki infused air slashes but Joe cancel out all of them, Zoro swing down right at Joe but he block with both spears and used his magnetic powers to hold Enma in place and delvers some hard punches with his lower hands, Zoro gritted his teeth and spat out some blood and counter with a kick coated in Armament Haki and aim for his chest wound over and over trying to get free. The seal wound was still fresh and hurt like hell so with no other choice Joe released his hold one Zoro, he staggered back and panting. Zoro took his chance and attacked with One Sword Style: Demon Tiger Fury a powerful downward Haki infused air slash came right at Joe and knocked him as he blocked with his spears, Zoro took this chance to retreat his swords.
Joe repels the slash into the sky, he never felt this drain in a while. He saw Zoro making a run for one of his swords, he "tch" at the swordsman's persistent and followed after him. Zoro was running right at Sandai Kitetsu and was nearly within reach but Joe use all his might and throws his spear right at Zoro's back the swordsman sense this and is able to deflect the attack but that left him open to be struck by lightning from Joe's fingertips and leave him stunned. Zoro gritted his teeth and saw Joe getting ready to throw his other spear and finish him off, Zoro wouldn't die like this! He used all his sheer willpower to break free and grab his second swords but Joe wasn't done and fired a ball of lightning Zoro, giving him a nasty shock. Zoro unleashes another blast of force that knocks out more people in the crowd and uses his Demonic Breathing once more!
"Two Sword Style; Demonic Breathing: Violent Storm of Susanoo!" Zoro shouted, unleashing two vertical slashes infused with lightning and Haki.
Joe spat out blood as his recent wound reopened and gained two new ones, fell on his back in pain and stunned by his own lightning. Zoro almost fell to his knees from exhaustion but stood firm and took this chance to look for his last sword, Wado Ichimonji. Joe was panting and gasping as he took his own blood and trying to figure out how this happened, it was true that Zoro was strong but to possibly be stronger than him was out the question!
Joe gritted his teeth and let out a battle cry, he got to his feet. He was panting and was bleeding out a bit, he saw Zoro making his way to his last sword and he tried to follow after him but he winced in pain and clenched his bleeding wound, he needed to seal his wound once more or risk suffering the consequences. Zoro got Wado Ichimonji and placed it in his mouth, he pulled all his Haki into all three swords and unleashed his full power, Joe cauterized his wounds shut and pulled all his might into his own attack, the two rushed at each other and delivered powerful strikes! It creates a shockwave that blasts throughout the whole arena, the two attacks clash against each other as bolts of blue and black come off!
On the balcony of Humanity
Geir's scanner was beeping like crazy and just exploded! Shocking her the sheer amount of power these two!
"Gah!" Geir said, squealing from shock. "M-My scanner.. It broke! J-Just how powerful are these two!?" She said, watching the fight.
"Very Geir, very." Brunhild told her.
Back in the arena, Zoro coated all three of his swords in Armament Haki then took a familiar stance and began to spin his swords, Joe coated his spear in golden lightning and tightly gripped them. Zoro uses Three Sword Style: Billion-Fold World Trichiliocosm while Joe uses Plasma Bolt: Golden Lance! The two attack clash and a explosion was created along with a large smoke cloud, everyone was at the edge of their seat and when the smoke started to clear it reveal a shocking sight, one of Joe's arms was laying on ground and bleed was now leaking from his lower right stump along with his body armor shattering from being cut to pieces.
Joe spat out blood and took a knee, he saw that his armor was destroyed and he was missing a right arm, Joe was in the middle of trying to fathom what just happened. The armor that Prince Imukat had given him was destroyed, shattered to pieces. His right arm was gone, cut off by a human. A human who didn't have any special powers or unique abilities, just pure strength and skills, skills that were more than what he expected! Zoro was strong, stronger than possibly any other foe he faced, by far the strongest swordsman but stronger than him? Just the mere thought was far-fetched but he couldn't help being bothered by it and the more he thought about the more angry he got, veins began to appear and throb as he gritted and grind his teeth, he slowly get to his face and turn to face Zoror with a blank face.
"You know your strength is really strong in fact." Joe told him in a calm tone.
"Hmph, guess that will teach you to not underestimate humans." Zoro told him.
"Indeed, you sure taught me." Joe said, nodding at those words. "But now… I'm absolutely enraged at you, Roronoa Zoro." He said with a tone full of bloodlust and a terrifying smile.
Zoro took a defensive stance after sensing the strong killer intent, he was sweating but wouldn't falter.
"And because of this feeling of anger, I'm going to show you the full power of my might." Joe said as large bolts of electricity came off his body. "And end you in an instant."
Joe releases a powerful blast of lightning from his body, shaking the arena a bit. His muscles bulk up to the max and his eyes were glowing with blue energy as bolts surrounded them, his hair stood up and looked more spiky and a blue and golden electricity aura was around his body.
"Now… you die." Joe said seriously.
Things are looking serious, can Zoro still pull a win now that Joe unleashes his full power? Will find him next time.
I hope you all enjoyed this so far, I wanted to try something a bit different in terms of fighting and given the fact all the Champions of Humanity were training with each other it only natural to learn a few new tries. Also for the design of Captain Marvel just think of her Marvel What If version, let me know what you think.
