Chapter 3: The Monstrous Swordsman of the Underworld vs. The Raging Golden Guard of Lightning! The Expect Conclusion of Round 1!?
Joe with his full power was a whole different beast then what Zoro was fighting before, he couldn't stop shaking and was still heavily injured as well, even soon he ready himself to end this battle to the death.
On the balcony of the Galactic Empire
"Damn, who knew Joe had such power." Lady Vermoki said in awe.
"Now we're in the final stretch of the fight." Prince Imukat said calmly. "Joe…" He thought.
"Who would've thought a human could push Joe so far the only question is, can he survive?" Mekoa said in an even tone.
"We'll see." Prince Imukat stated.
On the balcony of Humanity
"S-Sister what is going on now with Lord Joe!?" Geir said, freaking out.
"Shit, I was hoping Zoro will defeat Joe but he unleashes his full power." Brunhild cursed.
"D-Does Zoro still have a chance to win?" Geir asked, fearing the worst.
"We can only hope, Geir." Brunhild said, sweating a bit.
"Worry not Sisters, Zoro still has a chance because I'm sensing his level of power is slowly but surely rising." Reginlef said calmly.
"Plus he still hasn't bust out his best move yet." Hrist said firmly, not taking her eyes off Zoro.
Back in the arena, Zoro was waiting to see what Joe would do and counter it but the next thing that happened was almost in an instant! Zoro could barely react as he was sent flying and slams into the arena wall, he grunted in pain and was barely able to stand.
"Shit, that was too fast!" Zoro thought, wincing in pain.
"I'm going to show you just how wide the gap between us really is." Joe told him.
Zoro didn't have time to make a counter as Joe blitz right at him and tries to take his head off but the swordsman didn't have time to used his blades to block that heavy and fast attack, it push him further into then and made him grunted in pain, Joe hit him with strong punch right to the neck but Zoro tightened all his muscle and use Armament Haki to guard against the strike. Even after all of that he ends up spitting out blood and then Joe attacks with a blitzing barrage of thrust, Zoro tries to deflect them all but there too fast and is only able to block 1 out 3 of them, getting covered in cuts. Joe aims for his next once more with his spear but Zoro blocks with his swords, he knocks further into the wall. Even with Observation Haki Joe is too moving too for him to react and counter, Zoro puts all his strength into his arms and when Joe goes for another strike the two clash creates a shockwave and Zoro uses all the power he has and sends Joe back. The pirate swordsman was panting from stamina drain and the damage he taken but he wasn't going to crumble under the pressure yet, he lunge forward and attack with Underworld King's Three Sword Style: Purgatory Onigiri yet Joe was able to dodge the attack in a flash and counter deadly thrust to the heart but Zoro blocked with all his might and follow up with Underworld King's Three Sword Style: Demon Bird Dance but it did hit Joe because he blocked with his spears.
Joe bolted forward right at Zoro with the speed of a missile and even when he blocked the force of the strike rip through his body, he spat out blood. Joe flashes all over the place going with blitzing strikes, Zoro tries his hardest to block everyone of them but it is coming harder with every attack. The strikes were growing more and more intense and Zoro could feel his arms starting to grow numb and his whole body was losing stamina, he needed to turn this around now or he'll get killed! Zoro put his all into this next move by swinging his arms up swing and knocking the spears away Joe attacked with Electro Punch, he lunged himself forward like he was fighting with his fist coated in lightning and got Zoro in the gut which sent skidding across the arena. Joe channeled his lightning power to the blade of his spear until it turned red and rushed right at Zoro, the pirate swordsman swung his sword to meet the strike and it created an explosion. Zoro was knock back and covered in smoke, he let out a gasp of pain and feel his legs shaking but still stood his ground Joe leap into the air and attack with Sparks of the Red Dragon and unleash a barrage of thrust with yellow and red bolt of lightning around his spear, Zoro tries deflecting them but they explode on contact which end up with Zoro engulf in them, his body was giving off smoke as he felt is muscle growing weak from exhaustion, Joe saw his chance to move in close and hit Zoro with Electro Punch: Thunder Barrage which had him pummeling the pirate swordsman with electric punches.
"Dammit… my whole body is going numb. I can barely keep up… at this rate I'll be killed…" Zoro thought. "What was all that training for… what was all that preparing for!" He thought, growing frustrated.
Joe smashed Zoro in the face with hisfist and sent him crashing into the wall, he grunted in pain and felt his mind grow hazy.
"This is it for you, the gap between you and me was far too wide to even be rivals. I am and always will be stronger than you." Joe told him, aiming to take his head off. "Your majesty, my prince, my friend, my dear love… I claim this victory in the name of you!" he shouted.
On the balcony of Humanity
"Oh no, Joe is about to kill Zoro!" Geir shouted, dreading the worse.
"Dammit. This can't really bite it." Brunhild said, biting her nails.
"Zoro won't loss sister, he can't lose… he just can't." Hrist said firmly but she had a look of dread on her face as she grip the rails.
Rengoku remained silent but he was tightly gripping his sword until his hand was white. He had to have faith in Zoro, he had to have faith in the man that promised to never lose again. Meanwhile Humanity started to feel like there was no hope for them, would they suffer then first lose and take the first step towards their extinction from the Multiverse.
Back in the arena, Zoro saw everything slowing down as he felt what was like his life flashing before his eyes, from all his adventure as a pirate hunter to his battle against powerful foes that push him past his limit, from Hachi, to Mr. 1. Kaku, to Ryuma, to even fighting Kaido, and even his humiliating loss against Mihawk, to his promise to his oldest friend and Captain; Luffy.
"I made a promise that I would never lose again… that I would be the strongest Swordsman, so I can't afford to lose and die like this!" Zoro thought ferociously.
Zoro ducks the strike and grips his swords to the make and activates his Combat Aura once more and delivers a powerful attack using Underworld King's Three Blade Dragon Style: 103 Emotions; Flying Dragon Hell Blaze! A powerful black bolt slash hit Joe and sent all the way back into the wall of the arena at the same time a wave of force came off Zoro once more which once again knock out more people on both sides, the attack was so powerful it left a bolt slash wound on the Golden Guard's chest and cut him severely deep, causing him to spat out blood and even take a knee.
"No matter what it takes, even if I have to become the King of Hell. I will never lose to anyone ever again and become the World's Strongest Swordsman!" Zoro said seriously and passionately.
The crowd on the side of Humanity cheered as they felt hope once more that they could still have a chance!
On the balcony of Humanity
"YES! HAHAHAHAHA, HOW DOES THAT FEEL GOLDEN BITCH!?" Hrist shouted, laughing like a madwoman.
"Zoro was able to get up, d-does this mean we still have a chance?" Geir said feeling hopeful.
"We'll have to watch to see." Brunhild told her.
"There's just one thing I don't understand, what with that strange wave that Zoro keeps releasing?" Geir asked.
"That simple Geir, it's the will of the Conqueror." Brunhild answered.
"Huh?" Geir said, confused.
"She means is, Zoro has the will and ambition of a King!" Hrist said with a proud smirk.
Zoro was panting but stood firm, he was gaining his second wind and could afford to slow down. He canceled his Combat Aura and started using Recovery Breathing to ease the pain, but something felt off and he took a knee. Meanwhile, Joe was still spitting up blood and the pain was more severe when he thought that strike was different from any of Zoro's other attacks… it was like his very will was infused into that strike.
"This doesn't make sense, he is just a human even if Brunhild trained him!" Joe thought, not understanding how this was possible. "There's no way he's stronger than me! There's no way a human is stronger than me!" He thought, unleashing more power from the frustration.
Joe let out a cry of anger and threw Plasma Bolt after Plasma Bolt but each time they grew more bright until they were red, he attacked with Plasma Bolt: Crimson Explosion! Unleash multiple red bolts and throw them at Zoro and create a large explosion, creating a bit of fire. Zoro could be see within the flames and had survive, Zoro wasn't sure what was off with him but he use his Demonic Breathing and at the same time his grip become ungodly tight and soon all three of his blade turn red and a strange mark in the form black tiger stripes appeared around his arms, Zoro was coating in flames and lunge forward and attack with Three Sword Style; Demonic Breathing: Wildfire of Amaterasu and at the same time Joe get up and coated his spears in red and yellow lightning then lunge forward and attack with The Raging Storm of Osoyk! The two attacks created a huge explosion of lightning and fire, both attacks dealt great deal of damage to both of them but Zoro and Joe weren't done yet! The marks disappeared along with his red blades but Zoro still fought back, the force of their strike created shockwaves as swords and spears clashed against each as Zoro andJoe let out battle cries. Zoro knocks Joe back with an air slash, the Golden Guard gritted his teeth in anger and stood his ground. He slams the ends of his spear together to create a single long spear with a blade on both ends.
"There is no way you're stronger than me! You think that this is the depth of my full power!? Wrong!" Joe shouted. "I'll show you the true depth of my powers!"
Joe slammed his spear into the ground and a loud rumbling was here as the whole arena shook, a few seconds later the whole ring where Joe and Zoro stood started to break off and started floating to the sky, shocking everyone who watched! Joe was floating as well with his aura that was moving more violently and intensely.
"This is where you'll meet your end, because no matter how strong an ape is it can never beat a tiger! So no matter how strong of a human you could never beat me!" Joe shouted, electricity lashing off his body.
"I'm sure this fight has proven that humans aren't one to underestimate." Zoro told him. "This fight is far from over and I'm far from done." He said seriously.
"We'll see…" Joe said with a tone of bloodlust.
Joe grabs his double blade spear and throws it like a frisbee and while Zoro was getting ready to knock the weapon back Joe held his hand out and hit Zoro with Magnet Storm Blast which was a blue electric ring, it didn't hurt him which confused him but he didn't focus on that and knock the spear back when it nearly split him in half, he was sent flying but came spinning right back at him. Zoro knocks it back once more but it comes back and each time it does the spin and force increase while the pirate swordsman was dealing with that Joe uses Constellation Meteor Shower and so as space junk came raining down once more all of them curve towards Zoro instead of hitting the ground. Zoro was now not only dealing with the spinning spear but incoming space junk and was hacking and slashing any that came near him with great force and speed, Joe even created razor sharp blade out the junk that was cut up and when anything of the blades or spinning spear came right at him from behind he put all his effort and strength to deflecting more cutting them to pieces, Joe notice this and saw that even after turning Zoro into a living magnet and stacking the odds against him he was still fighting hard.
Joe engage the fight by hitting Zoro across the face with a Electro Punch but the pirate swordsman used Armament Haki but still felt the force of the blow then follow up with Electro Blast creating two ball of blue electricity making a explosion but Zoro was still able to deflect the blades and spear with the help of his Observation Haki, Joe close the distance between them once more and hit Zoro with Electro Punch: Thunder Barrage and batter up his body and spat out blood and even when he deflect he blades Joe use his magnet powers to hold Zoro's swords still, confusing him for a moment and then he saw something, he saw himself getting split in half by Joe's spear. He lets out a gasp and uses all his physical strength to break free and by sheer will channel the power of Conqueror Haki into his swords and blast the spear away and shatter all the space junk and blades into pieces freeing himself of his magnetic coating that made him a magnet.
"What was that? Did I just see the future?" Zoro thought, remembering being told that Luffy once fought a powerful guy that could see the future.
Joe called forward his spear and was confused about the swordsman needing to protect his back and figure it was a weak spot or something.
"Tell me something, sense the beginning of this fight you've been protecting your back, why is that?" Joe asked him.
"Scars on a swordsman's back is their greatest shame." Zoro told him simply. "If I can see gleams into the future then it could help me win this fight." He thought.
"Is that so? Well in a fight anything can happen…" Joe said with an almost craze smile.
"Hmmph." Zoro said, ending the conversation.
Zoro closed his eyes and focus on the sensation he felt before and as Joe attack with Electro Blast, the orbs of electricity came right at insane speed and as they close in on Zoro he use his new future-sight to dodge them and use Instant Reaction to close the distance between him and Joe to try and slash him across the chest but it was blocked. Joe gritted his teeth and tried to hit Zoro with Electro Buster a blue electricity beam came out of his mouth but Zoro was able to dodge the close range attack by using his future-sight and knocked him back with a haki infused air slash. Joe and Zoro once again engage in strikes, both of them get cut up a few times but Joe is getting pushed back and as Zoro aims to get him down Joe uses Electro Pound which knocks the pirate swordsman back. Zoro was nearly knocked off the flying arena but stopped himself and attacked with Three Sword Style: Black Rope Dragon Twist but Joe counter with Electro Spin created a hurricane that was coated with lightning and the two clashed with each other for a while before canceling each other out. Zoro and Joe were panting but far from giving out, Joe takes to the sky and and powers up and attacks with Electro Cannon deliver two massive ball of blue lightning right at him, Zoro could hear his heart pounding and his body push to it's limit put all his strength into his arms and once again the strange marks appeared and Zoro attack with Three Sword Style: Demonic Tiger's Wrath and unleash multiple powerful slash infused with Conqueror Haki and cut the two large orbs of energy to pieces and a few of them hit Joe, the strange mark disappeared and Zoro fell to his knees and was panting heavily.
In the crowd, all of Zoro's friends and crewmates were cheering him on as they saw the Vice Captain give it his all.
"Hey, Zoro! Go ahead and win this! I know you can do it!" Luffy the Captain of the Strawhat Pirates shouted.
"This is getting crazy intense, hopefully Zoro can handle himself against this guy." Nami the Navigator of the Strawhats said, concerned.
"J-Jeez, Zoro and that guy s-sure look scary but he's very strong s-so I'm sure he can w-w-win!" Usopp the Sniper of the Strawhat Pirates said, shivering a bit.
"Damn, Mosshead… he better not lose or I'll kick his ass myself." Sanji the Cook of the Strawhat Pirates said with a sneer.
"I hope Zoro comes out of this okay, he's been taking a lot of damage." Chopper the Doctor of the Strawhat Pirates said, concerned.
"Oh my, this fight sure is getting brutal and bloody if Zoro isn't careful he'll get split in half and his organs will spill out everywhere." Robin the Archaeologist of the Strawhat Pirates said with a soft smile on her face.
"WOW! Zoro is super right now! He's on a whole nother level!" Franky the Shipwright of the Strawhat Pirates said getting excited.
"I have to say, Zoro is scary powerful, it's shaking to the bone, Yohohohohoho!" Brook the Musician of the Strawhats Pirates said, laughing at his own joke.
"Indeed but his opponent is also powerful this fight can go either way even so we must have faith in Zoro." Jinbei the Knight of the Sea and Helmsman of the Strawhat Pirates said firmly.
Zoro was panting heavily and could even with Recovery Breathing his was still badly injured and very exhausted and from what he could tell so was Joe, he saw the Golden Guard spat out blood and panting heavily as well, he was bleeding quite a bit. Both of them were quite drained so it was time for the climax.
"I guess it's time to use "that" technique." Zoro thought seriously.
On the balcony of Humanity
"It's time." Hrist said seriously.
"T-Time for what, Sister Hrist?" Geir asked.
"You'll see." Hrist told her. "Although I'm more curious about those marks that keep appearing on Zoro, is it what I think it is Sister Brunhild?" She said, looking at the older Sister.
"Most likely, I never thought it would be possible even with the breath training." Brunhild told her. "To think Zoro would gain a Demon Slayer Mark is unreal but it seems his body can't maintain it for long either due to exhaustion or how his body isn't used to it." She said, rubbing her chin.
Back in the arena, Zoro closed his eyes and a dark purple and blue misty aura came off his body and his eye had a red glow, the aura formed into something and it was a demonic being with three faces and six arms and Zoro was the same, having six arms and three faces. He looks like a real demon and to top this he uses his Combat Aura.
"Nine Sword Style: Asura." Zoro said in a deep and serious voice, almost monstrous.
Joe looked at him in shock and the sheer pressure the pirate swordsman gave off was intense and suffocating, he felt his whole body shake and looked at his hand and saw that he was trembling?
"Wh-What is this? Why am I shaking? Am… am I afraid?" Joe thought, wondering how he could fear a human. "Impossible! Never! Not to a human like him!" He thought furiously.
Zoro lunge forward and attack Joe with Nine Sword Style: Silver Mist giving him a single fast cut right to the chest which reopen his wounds and was deep, he spat out blood and summon his spear and spun around to cut Zoro in half but he block with one of his many swords and barely turn to face and attack with two right slash to his shoulder, soon it turn to a exchange of strikes with Zoro being able to outmatch Joe with all nine of his swords against Joe's dual spear.
On the balcony of Humanity
"S-Sister, wh-what the heck happened to Zoro!? Why does he look so demonic and scary!" Geir asked, frightened at the sight of the swordsman's new form.
"That is his ultimate sword style, Geir. Nine Sword Style: Asura." Brunhild told her. "It is a powerful technique that gives Zoro nine swords and makes him look like a demon." She explained.
"Damn, he's one scary swordsman." Yoruichi said with a smirk.
"Amazing, it's quite terrifying." Rengoku said in awe.
"Of course it is! I'm the one that helped train him to use it's potential!" Hrist said smugly, getting excited.
"It does look impressive but it still looks incomplete." Reginleif pointed out. "Will it be enough for him to win?" She asked, scanning Zoro's power level.
"Of course it will be enough! Even if it is incomplete, Zoro will no doubt beat golden bitch!" Hrist said passionately.
"My my, you sure do have a lot of faith in him Sister, could it be… that you have a crush on him~?" Brunhild said in a teasing manner causing her sister to blush fiercely.
"S-SHUT UP!" Hrist shouted, an intense blush on her face.
"All jokes aside, if Zoro wants any chance of winning he has to finish this soon." Randgriz told her Sisters.
"How long does he have?" Geir asked, nervously.
"Normally, I say he has a good six minutes but with all the damage he is taking and with how exhausted he is, it is best to say he has at least 2 to 3 minutes." Hrist said seriously, a cold sweat dripping down.
Back in the arena, Zoro and Joe who were clashing the pirate swordsman knock him back and quickly charge forward and attack with Nine Sword Style: Piercing Drill, infusing his Ki into his blades to slash could create an explosion. Joe spat out blood and slash Zoro's chest with his spear and electrocute him with his lightning but Zoro endure it and stabs two of his blades into Joe and knocks him once more with some Haki infused air slash, joe slams his hand onto the ground and manipulate the metal material inside to have two slabs of the ground to come and slams into him but he cuts them two piece and attack with Nine Sword Style: Spirit of Vengeance, he unleash multiple slashes infused with his Ki and Haki that hit almost all the vital point of Joe's body but he still refuse to go down. Joe let out a battle cry and delivered a powerful bolt of lightning and shocked Zoro badly, he gritted his teeth and power through the pain and attacks with Nine Sword Style: Demonic Dragon Hurricane, unleashing black winds with dark purple bolts and was infused with Haki and Ki, cutting Joe up badly severely wounding him but he still refuse to back down.
"Damn, what a pain in the ass. But I have to admit, that hellish training really paid off." Zoro thought, remembering the personal training Hrist gave him.
Flashback
Zoro was fighting against Hrist with all he had, this was the part that was the most difficult of training because after he sparred with the other champions to the point of passing out, Hrist and him would have intense fights sessions and practice sword fighting which ended with him bloody, bruise, and on the ground.
"Get up, this is far from over." Hrist told him.
Zoro merely spat out blood and slowly got back up to his feet, panting heavily as the Valkyrie remained in standing position with sword out. The swordsman saw the Valkyrie had a sword that look a like a traditional japanese sword with golden and blue handle and guard with the blade silver and indigo gray color that twice the length as his own.
"Good, now come at me like you mean it." Hrist told him. "Use every bit of strength you have in that body of yours, don't hold anything back." She ordered.
Zoro once again lunged forward and swung his blades right at her, she blocked and parried everything strike even with Observation Haki and some of the techniques he learned, he couldn't land a hit on her.
"Don't just swing your swords, feel them out and strike with all you got!" Hrist told him.
"I-I'm… trying…" Zoro said, panting.
"Try hard!" Hrist shouted.
She struck him directly in the gut with a single thrust using only the force of her blow to knock him down on his back, he spat out blood and was gasping from the pain.
"Jeez, you still aren't getting it." Hrist told him, sheathing her sword.
"What… the… point… of… this?" Zoro asked between breaths.
"You're going to need more than Haki to win this fight, you're not even close to the level of power that your Captain is with it." Hrist told him. "If you're going to go down the path of the sword you need to understand the meaning of it. You can't just sense your surroundings and brute force your way through, you need to be in the moment and feel everything out all at once." She told him.
"what… do… you… mean?" Zoro asked her.
"Get up and I'll show you." Hrist told him.
Zoro let out a groan and picked himself up once more, he was covered in bruises and looked ready to pass out. Hrist firmly grips her sword and takes a traditional sword-fighting stance, she takes a deep breath and slowly exhales then in a single move she unsheaths her sword and moving only her waist and shoulder, unleashes a power air slash that was large enough to cut ten mountains and more in half! Zoro was in shock by the sheer power of the strike and Hrist didn't even look like she was even trying.
"For one to unleash the true power of the sword, one first must unleash the true power of the body." Hrist told him calmly, pointing at her head. "That is how one reaches the State of Everything."
"… … …" Zoro was trying to understand what she just did and said.
"Let's continue, so come at me with everything you got and I mean everything, if you even try to come at me with less than 100% of your strength… I will cut you right down the middle." Hrist told him, say the last part with bloodlust as she aimed her sword right at him with an intense blue aura.
"She's serious, I can feel it within the very fiber of my being. If I come at her without my all… she'll kill me." Zoro said, his face was covered in sweat.
Zoro took a deep breath and used his most deadly and powerful sword style, Nine Sword Style: Asura. He only had enough strength left for one more move and that would be it, Zoro put his all into this one and lunged forward at Hrist, who had a relaxed sword stance and watched him carefully, Zoro attacked with Nine Sword Style: Farce of the Dead! Hrist merely attacked with a single and powerful slash against the attack, the two made contact and boom was here and then silence neither Hrist or Zoro made a move for a few seconds but then Zoro spat out blood and fell to the ground out of pure exhaustion and overwhelming injuries. Hrist looked at him in surprise and that was because on her right shoulder was a small cut that barely broke the skin along with a few strands of hair.
"Hehehe, it was only for a moment but you were able to reach that place."Hrist said with a chuckle.
"Huh?" Zoro said, confused.
"That sword style of use is pretty impressive and powerful, we'll have to train to reach it's true potential." Hrist told him. "Alright, get up let's get to it." She told him.
"I can't." Zoro told her.
"Don't give me that, get up." Hrist ordered.
"I told you I can't!" Zoro told her in a comical manner.
"You better get up or I'll chop you in half!" Hrist comically shouted.
"HEY, I JUST TOLD I CAN'T!" Zoro comically shouted back.
The other Valkyrie and Champions had to get involved to help heal Zoro so he could continue his training.
End of Flashback
Zoro and Joe continue to fight, he continues to use his Future-Sight to see where Joe would attack and block and counter with powerful slashes, the Golden Guard gritted his teeth and use his lightning and magnetic to fight off against Zoro but it wasn't enough. Joe cut Zoro's right leg while Zoro slashes Joe's left upper arm, Joe stabs Zoro in the left thigh, Zoro delivers two cuts to Joe's right leg, Joe slashes Zoro across the chest, Zoro stabs Joe in the abdomen, Joe hit Zoro with a lethal shock from his lightning, Zoro counter with Nine Sword Style: Farce of the Dead both got seriously damage and back away and were panting and bleeding quite a bit.
It was clear this fight was reaching the peak of the climax, no one knew who would win, both sides were hoping for their chosen fighter to win. Zoro was panting and his body felt numb and severely exhausted but he wasn't going to fall, Joe felt the same with his badly injured cuts and losing blood even if the pain was unbearable, he wasn't going to fall.
"Damn, my body is reaching the limit here. Man this guy is something else even after all of that." Zoro thought, panting heavily.
"Man, this human is a stubborn one even after all that edamame he keeps going." Joe thought, panting and spit a bit of blood to the ground.
Zoro looked at one of his arms and saw that the dark purple aura was growing weaker and that proves that he doesn't have much time or energy left in his Asura form.
"I don't have much time left in Asura if I'm being honest I probably have one more move left before this form fades away." Zoro thought, then tightly grip his swords.
"Time to give it my all, my body may not last longer with how much damage it has taken." Joe thought, powering up even further with pure golden lightning surrounding his body.
On the balcony of Humanity
"This is it, the moment they attack we will either win or lose." Brunhild said seriously.
"Zoro will win, I know he will. He promised…" Hrist said softly but firm.
"Please win Zoro, please win for us." Geir said, praying.
"I have complete faith in him, Zoro won't let us down." Rengoku said firmly with a serious look on his face.

"This is it, Joe is going to have to use his all in order to win this." Prince Imukat said seriously, keeping a close look on the fight.
"That human sure is powerful to last this long ago Joe and even push him this far but it seems like it all ends here." Mekoa said calmly.
Back in the arena, Zoro and Joe were going to give it their all, the only way to end this is for them to fall, one of them is going to die and the survivor would be the victor. Zoro infused Conqueror's Haki into all his swords while also lfaring of his Ki making the dark purple aura grow intense. Joe had a golden electrical aura around his body and the blades of his spear were glowing bright red with his muscles bulking up even more.
Joe spun his spin at mach speed using his magnetic force, gathering momentum and throwing it but instead of going to hit Zoro it went past him, Joe quickly charged at the swordsman, Zoro did the same getting ready for his final attack. Time slows down for both of them as they get ready to unleash their final attack, Zoro thought back to what Hrist told him when they train.
"In order to reach the State of Everything, one must unleash the true power of the body and be in the moment." Zoro thought, repeating what Hrist told him.
So instead of using Future-Sight or Observation Haki he simply closed his eyes and emptied his mind of all thoughts, letting his instinct guide him. Feeling out everything around him, Zoro could feel the ground beneath his feet, the vibration from the shouting of the crowd in his ears, the smell of blood and dirt in his eyes, the feeling of the air on his skin, everything movement that Joe made, he could feel everything all a once and it was in the moment Zoro understood, the true path of the swords wasn't in one's muscle but from one own mind. Zoro felt an awakening after reaching that thought and along with it his body obtained a newfound strength, and even though his eyes were still closed he could see everything around like he was scanning everything all at once, he had reached it the State of Everything. As the two fighter come closed, Joe spear spun back to him and moment it did he grab it by the tip of the blade with his fingers and then coated it with golden lightning and then swung it down, attacking with Divine Rage of the Lighting King while Zoro attack with Nine Sword Style: Demon Over The 9 Heavens unleash nine powerful slash infused with Conqueror's Haki which had black bolt with dark purple energy coming off them! The attacks clashed and created a powerful explosion of energy that was so intense the sky was split open, the floating rock helding the two up then falling to the ground with a hard crash kicking up more dust.
Everyone was at the edge of their seats as they waited for the dust cloud to clear up to see the result of the clash of powerful attacks. Who was the winner? Who was the survivor? Which side will gain the win and which side will gain the loss? Would it Zoro or Joe? These were the questions that everyone was thinking and soon the answers would be revealed, the cloud of dust and smoke was beginning to clear and silhouette were being seen, there was intense silence as the result was becoming visible. Then finally the answer was revealed, Zoro still standing and was back in his regular form but was burnt badly from the lightning and wasn't moving an inch meanwhile Joe wasn't as lucky with his spear in pieces and his body had nine lethal cuts all over his body, he spat out blood and couldn't move.
"I-I… see now… y-you… were never human… but a demon." Joe said, as tears spilled to the ground. "Imukat… Mekoa… my loves… forgive me." He thought, then took his final breath.
His body then fell apart and splat to the ground in nine chunks of flesh, everyone was silent for a few moments to take in what had just happened.
"E-EVERYONE… THE WINNER OF 1 ROUND OF RAGNAROK IS… RORONAO ZORO!" Heimdall shouted but was also in shock..
Then the crowd on the side of Humanity cheered, they had gained their first victory! Zoro's crew cheered for him, the Valkyrie and Champions cheered as well for their comrade giving them the first one.
On the balcony of Humanity
"HE DID IT! HE FUCKING DID IT! HAHAHAHAHAHA, I KNEW HE WOULD WIN!" Hrist said, cheering the loudest.
"Hahaha, Zoro sure is something else. He managed to give us our first win." Rengoku said with a smile.
"Thank goodness, Zoro won." Geir said, relieved. "Does this mean we've won?" She asked Brunhild.
"Not yet, Geir. we still have seven more to go." Brunhild said seriously but looked more relieved.
"You really plan on taking on the Empire, Big Sis." Geir thought, worried for her Older Sister.
"She right, we still have seven more fights to go and if any of these Champions are as strong or even stronger than that guy, this won't be easy." Yoruichi said seriously.
"She's right, we need to be ready." Captain Marvel stated.
On the side of the Galactic Empire
Prince Imukat had a look of shock on his face then slowly turned into sorrow, Mekoa had frown on her face with dead eyes. The other champions were either shocked or surprised that a human had won against them.
"Well… that's a surprise." Ryuya-no-Mikoto said in a calm tone.
"A surprise!? Joe was just defeated by a human! And by pirate scum no less!" Lady Vermoki shouted, in anger.
"Then that means that human was just stronger than him, plain and simple." Ryuya-no-Mikoto said without much care. "Honestly, it got me excited for my match. I wonder how my opponent will fight." He said with a smirk, eyeing a certain delinquent.
"You…" Lady Vermoki said seething with anger.
"Enough." Griskuim finally spoke, his voice was deep and rough. "This simply means we have to be more cautious, these fighters hand picked by Brunhild are no joke so lets treat them like so." he roder, then gets up and walks away.
"Griskuim is right, we'll have to take this seriously." Ryuya-no-Mikoto said with a smirk, walking away as well.
The other Champions follow behind, getting ready for their matches as well. Prince Imukat get up and away as well.
Back in the arena, Zoro still hadn't moved and some were beginning to think he had died in the clash until he spat out blood and fell to his knees, coughing and gasping while clenching his chest in pain. He uses Recovery Breathing to ease up pain and feels he may have a hole in his lung, the pain lessening for a bit and Zoro puts his swords away and takes off his bandana. His body was in a lot of pain and had no energy left to move, he could only breathe and keep himself from having a heart attack then he winced as flash of images flash through his brain!
"Hahahaha, bring it on! This is the most fun I have ever had in forever. I'll show you why I'm called the Lioness!" Mereleona Vermillion shouted in pure excitement, covered in blood and fire with a savage grin on her face.
"No matter what, on my honor as a hero. I will fight to the bitter end to protect Humanity! Because… I AM HERE!" All Might shouted furiously, his right fist was bloody and he was in his skinny form but still had burning passion in his eyes.
"Fucking christ, even if it take every last trick I have up my sleeve. I'm going to put a bullet through your skull in order to keep my daughter safe. Because I never miss it!" Deadshot said, his helmet off and holding his sniper rifle with his body covered in blood and looking to be in pain.
"You sure are strong but I can't afford to lose because I have too many promises to keep." Ohma Tokita said a fierce smile on his face, batter and bruise with blood all over in his signature stance.
"You are very formidable but you will not survive this blizzard. I will finish you off for the sake of my clan and Earthrealm itself!" Subzero said seriously, he had frost coming off his hand and he was covered in cuts with blood leaking out.
"You're pretty tough and quick but I'm far quicker and have more fighting experiences, they don't call me the Flash Goddess for no reason so now it's time for you to feel her wrath!" Yoruichi said with a smirk, a white aura coming off her body as she was injured badly.
"You may be one heck of a monster but I will slay you for the safety of my guild and family!" Laxus Dreyar shouted, his body releasing intense yellow lightning and covered in bruises and blood with a burn mark on his chest.
"Some of us may have fallen but I will make their death mean something! I won't let it all be in vain and I'll do that by taking you out!" Captain Marvel shouted in a tone mix of rage and passion, an intense and golden light shining off her body with some blood and severe wounds.
"No matter the cost or how high the price, I will see my duty fulfilled! Because I am the Flame Hashira, Rengoku Kyojuro!" Rengoku shouted, covered in pain and a few cuts on his body that had pale purple coloring but a red and orange fiery aura came off as well.
"We've come this far and I refuse for all of it to end like this! I won't let you have your way, not if I help it!" Yang shouted furiously, an intense fiery aura around her body with golden eyes, she was seriously wounded and even missing her robot arm.
"Good Grief, you sure are a pain in the ass. I've done everything I could to protect my daughter and family from the cruel fate of life and I won't let the like you get in the way of that. I'll pummel the shit out of you as many times as it takes." Jotaro Kujo said seriously, his body was covered in wounds but he had a bright purple and golden aura around his body with a faint hue of purple in his eyes.
"Hahahahahaha! It's finally my time, I'm going to smash my fist right through your head and splatter your blood all over this arena! I'll show you all a true monster and the embodiment of absolute evil!" Garou said with a savage and bloodthirsty grin on his face, he was covers dn heavy bruises and blood but still ready to fight!
Zoro let out gasp, panting heavily at what he just saw. He couldn't understand what he just saw, he had just gained the ability to use Future-Sight but for some reason if only for a second, he was able to see into the distant future of this tournament!
"W-What was that just now!? Was that real? Was that the future!?" Zoro thought shocked and a bit shook, he clenched his chest once more from the pain.
He was close to passing out, the med team showed up and got Zoro on a stretcher and carried himself off to get healed. With that Round 1 was over but the fight for survival, this was far from over but Humanity now had hope, hope that they could still survive this, hope that they could win!
The Champions of Humanity left to check on Zoro along with a few of the Valkyrie leaving only Geir and Brunhild.
"Feast your eyes on this Council, this is the power of Humanity!" Brunhild thought with a confident smirk. "Come Geir, we must prepare for the next match." She told her sister.
"O-Okay, Big Sis!" Geir said, following her sister.
The battle was far from over but with the first victory, Humanity was taking its first step to survival but the road would only get more bumpy and difficult as time passed.

There you have it, Zoro is the winner and with that Humanity has the first win. I wanted to be unique with this SNV because most of them I read end with Humanity losing the first round so I wanted to be different, not all of them are going to have a win.
