It was a sunny day on the tribe of the plains of the south. Everyone was on their duties: some went fishing, others were doing medicine, looking for wood, the children were playing, etc.
Every thing seemed to be calm.
Too calm...
"I don't want to do this father"said Sakari, first born of Lenno. Chief of the tribe of the mountains.
"Me neither son, but we have no choice. If we don't take this children to Serkin we will never recover ours."
Before Bravo's arrival, Serkin and his men had attacked the village from the tribe of the mountains. They killed most of the men and captured all the children. Serkin forgave Lenno and his family, but in return of that and the freedom of their little ones, they had to steal more children from other villages. Lenno didn't saw more options, so he finished by accepting.
"So what's the plan?"Sakari
"We wait until night falls, when everyone gets asleep, we attack."
Then Lenno looked up to the sky.
"Great Spirits, please forgive us for this horrible sin."
The night fell, Lenno and his men were hidden in the woods that surrounded the village. Everyone should be asleep by now, it was time to attack.
The men started to approach cautiously to the village, they surrounded the tents by small groups and then...
The attack began.
The villagers, despite their number, they couldn't against Lenno and his men. The attack took them by surprise. Many men were killed, the women were beaten by trying to protect their children and the most painful was to see their kids being taken wile the adults couldn't do anything. At the end of the attack, by Serkin's orders, they burned the tents even with people inside. Sakari couldn't do more than see with horror what they have done, the screams and cry's of the children broke his heart in thousands of pieces. Poor children, to see that their home was destroyed, have been separated from their parents and not knowing what will be of them.
Lenno guided the group back with the Russians, they had tied up the children from the hands to a wooden stick so they didn't scape.
The group arrived at the river at sunrise, where Keldysh, one of the eight men of Serkin and his second in command, was waiting for them along with his mercenarys on some boats to take them to the ship.
"Did you have fun?"asked Keldysh on a moking tone.
Sakari looked at him full of hate, he was about to launch himself against him if it wasn't for his father who stoped him with a serious look.
"The children your boss asked for"Lenno
Keldysh examinated the kids, then talked to his men:
"Get them to the boats"he ordered.
Those putted abruptly the kids on the boats, jet tied up to the sticks, they were about to leave when Lenno talked to Keldysh:
"I need to talk with your boss."
"Leave the message."
"Personally."
Keldysh accepted with the condition that he went alone, Lenno accepted and ordered Sakari to stay there wile he talked with Serkin. Sakari had a bad gessing, but he ended accepting it against his will, Lenno got into Keldysh's boat and then every one went to the ship. Once in there, Keldysh went to Serkin to show him the fishing of the day.
"They're perfect"Serkin"Bykov, take them with the others."
Bykov was another of Serkin's men, his job was to stock the ware on the inside of the ship, there were more children from other villages previously attackted.
"Serkin"Keldysh"the native wants to talk with you."
"Speak"he said to Lenno.
"We already fullfiled with our part of the deal, When will you give us our children back?"
"Oh true, well, you'll have your kids when I said so. Untill then you'll have to keep plunder village after village if you don't want me to reduce yours to ashes, murder your people, let my boys have fun with your women or something worse happens. Is that clear?"
On that moment, another of Serkin's men appeared, Alekseyev.
"Boss, we got a problem."
"What are you talking about?"
"Jakov hasn't return from his patrol."
"What?"
...
Serkin and his men arrived at the place Jakov and his mercenaries where supposed to be. The vehiculs had beepers that helped them find them.
They got surprised when they saw the dead bodies being eat by ravens and chacals. Keldysh got closer to the crime scene, it looked like they suffered an ambush.
"F* traitor"said Serkin thinking that Lenno had betrayed him.
"Is not what you think"Keldysh"they got bullet wounds."
"He gave them our weapons?"Alekseyev
"I doubt it was a tribe who did this, here they're boot prints...Military boot prints."
Then Keldysh turned to see Serkin.
"We're not alone."
