"Oh Koda, now that I remember I got something for you"
"Really?!"
Then Sonny took from his pocket some candies.
"This, is called a candy, you take off the plastic, like this, and then you can put in on your mouth"
At the moment the candy entered on his mouth, Koda got out of words.
"By your face I think you liked it"
"I love it! Thank you Sonny!"
"I got more on my backpack, it has the same flag of my cap, you see?" said Sonny showing his cap to Koda "I think I left it on the plane, you can take them and share with your friends"
"Thank you Sonny"
Koda rushed to the plane at the same time Sonny heard some awws from behimd him, he tourned around to see the rest of the team.
"What?"
"You're so sweet"said Clay on a mocking tone.
"I like kids!"
Wile they were arguing, on a playfull way, Koda reached the plane and started to look for Sonny's backpack.
"Havoc this is Bravo 5, over"
"Chayo?"
Koda started to look around him, but there was no sign of her.
"Havoc this is Bravo 5, do you copy?"
Koda went to the place where the voice had come, in front of him was the radio. Davis had showed him what was for and how does it worked.
"HAVOC THIS IS BRAVO 5! SOMEBODY ANSWER ME CARAJO!"
Koda picked up the phone at hearing her mad and desperate voice.
"Hello?"
"Koda? Koda!"
"Hi Chayo, are you okay?"
"Koda listend to me, is any of Bravo with you?"
"I know where they are"
"Awsome! Go tell them it's an emergency! Hurry!"
Koda rushed back with Sonny and saw him with the rest of Bravo, Davis, Blackburn and Mandy. It was Sonny who saw him first.
"Woah Koda, what's wrong little budy?"
"I just talked with Chayo! I think she's in trouble!"
"What do you mean she's is trouble?"
"She told me it was an emergency!"
Sonny exchanged scared looks with Bravo, so every one got to the plain.
"Bravo five this is Havoc base, do you copy?"Blackburn
"Thank God, copy Havoc"
"What's your status?"
"We had ennemy contact in the forest and now we're on a tactical vehicle way to the village. Man down, repeat man down, possible concussion due to RPG impact. Requesting ISR to know our position"
"Copy Bravo 5, standy by"
Davis started to look for something on her computer, 'till she finally found something on thermical image.
"Bravo 5, the advice, we see what seems to be a tactical vehicle heading up river, is that you?"Davis
"Affirmative Havoc, that's us"
"Was that Brock?"Ray
"Bravo 5 report of passengers on the vehicle"
"Three male civilians, of which one of them got hit by an RPG, two K9 and two other seals. Brock and Full Metal"
"How the heck are they here?"Mandy
"We'll deal with that later"Jason"Right now what matters is to bring them here safe"
"Bravo 5 this is Havoc"Blackburn"You'll receive directions by radio to head up to the village, a medic team will wait for you at the entrance"
"Roger that, Bravo 5 out"
...
"They're here!"said Ray when he saw the vehicle.
Chayo, Brock and Full Metal came out first.
"Where are they?"Trent
"On the back" said Full Metal
When the back door opened they saw the three brothers, with Kenai unconscious and full of dirt. Sitka and Denahi came out of the vehicle to let Bravo work on their brother. Trent and Clay entered the vehicle along with a stretcher, Clay putted him on a position to turn him on his side, once he turned him, Trent positioned the stretcher and Clay lay Kenai back. Trent then gave Clay a first aid oxygen pump to help Kenai breathing wile he was checking on the unconscious boy.
"His pulse is going down, he needs medical attention now"
"You heard the doc guys! Let's go!"said Jason
Once Kenai was secured, they carefully slid the stretcher out of the vehicle, Ray and Brock took the down sides wile Jason and Clay the head sides. They rushed back to the village way to Tanana's tent.
"Move! Move! Man down! Man down!"said Jason to the people wile they mede way through the village.
"Kenai stay with me"Clay"Stay with me, stay with me, stay with me.."
"KENAI!"yelled Koda when he saw his big brother. Fear took over him, he started to run to him but Sonny, who saw everything, grabbed him from behind.
"Koda it's okay, it's okay"
"No! I have to be with him!"
"Koda look at me"Sonny turned Koda and saw him in the eyes, the kid's were drowning on tears of fear"Kenai's gonna be fine, okay? Trent is going to do everything possible to save him. I promise you, come here"
Koda broke down on Sonny's shoulder wile they hugged each other. In fact Sonny was concerned that he wasn't sure if Kenai would make it without the proper medical equipment, being reached by an RPG was nothing to joke about.
Trent was working his ass off to keep Kenai alive, he had given him a serum and connected a cardiogram to check on his heart rate. Meanwhile, outside the tent were Sitka, Denahi and Chayo, waiting for good news...
Until Chayo heard the most scariest sound of her life ever, one she wished never had heard...
The flat line.
"NO!"
The girl rushed to the tent, but she was cut off by Brock. Chayo was fighting against her mentor that had her on a good lock.
"It's alright kiddo, it's alright"he said trying to comfort her.
"No Brock, it's not"
"You did what you could"
"That wasn't enough!"
Trent came out of the tent with no emotions on his face, the group saw him walking to them.
"Trent what happened?"asked a really worried Sitka"Is he gonna be alright?"
"There's few chances he can survive on this conditions"
"What do you need?"said Chayo with determination.
"Kiddo..."Brock
"You said there's still chances he can survive, so we can still save him"
"Kenai needs a hospital, oh wait I forgot, WE'RE STUCK ON ICE AGE! So as we don't have the proper equipment I doubt Kenai can make it again!"
"Wha...What do mean by make it again ?"Sitka said shocked
"Your brother was officially dead over a minute, I managed to get him out of the trance, but that's not happening again. He's consuming each time more oxygen than normal and lost a considerable quantity of blood"
"There's a plant that can help him"
Everyone turned to see Tanana.
"It's called The Moon Orchid, it's a very rare flower that has curative properties. I'm sure that it could cure Kenai"
"I heard about that flower before"Denahi"But is not easy to get, it's found at the bottom of The Forbidden Waterfalls. Those are inside of a great mountain with a big pond at the foot of the mountain, to get to the waterfalls you must swim through a tunnel that connects with a big pool"
"Then what are waiting for! Let's go!"said a desperate Chayo.
"Not so fast"Sitka"That mountain is half a day from here, even if we leave now we'll be getting back at sunset. Kenai doesn't have until that"
"We have two motorcycles at the plain, that way we can get there faster"Brock
"There's oxygen tanks at the plain, that and a blood transplant could buy us some time"Trent"But the problem is...we don't know who's going to be the giver"
"I will "said Denahi and Sitka at the same time.
"Do you know each one's blood type?"asked Trent sarcastically
"Sitka must be the giver"Tanana"The Great Spirits told me"
Trent didn't have more options but to trust the shaman, Jason and Ray brought from the plain two oxygen tanks. They were small, but fulled at their maximum capacity, it should be enough for a wile, Trent with the help of Clay and Full Metal will work on the blood transplant. Meanwhile Denahi and Chayo were getting ready to go find the plant.
"Here"
Chayo threw a helmet to Denahi, he caught it and observed it.
"What is this?"
"It's called helmet. It's supposed to protect your head when you ride a motorcycle in case of a crash...or that you fly out"
Denahi looked at her in shock.
"Hey, that's not gonna happend. Okay?"she said on a playfull voice and punching his arm"Need help to put it on?"
"Please"
Chayo placed the helmet on Denahi's head, it was a little tight but it fitted. On one moment they looked at each other's eyes and...they felt butterflies on the stomach, if it wasn't for Brock's voice they would stay stuck like that for a long time.
"Hey! What are you kids doing?"
Chayo lowered the visor and pushed Denahi away.
"Nothing"she said facing her menthor, then back at Denahi"Y tú ya trépate a la moto que tu carnal ya mero cuelga los tenis, órale"

Chayo just got on the motorcycle, putted on her helmet and told Denahi to follow her with the head, once the two of them on the vehicle Chayo turned it on.
"Hold on to me"she told him"Denahi"

"Watch your hands"
"My hands? Oh sorry"
"Not that deep!"
"Sorry!"
The two youths made way through the village until they disappeared on the woods, Denahi was guiding Chayo until they get to a cliff. The mountain was at the other side, separated by a ferocious river.
"There's a bridge at the west"Denahi"We should turn around and cross walking, it will take more time but it's the safest path"
"Your brother doesn't have much time"
Chayo turned around at drive back, then she faced the cliff again.
"What are you doing?"
"See those ramps?"
"Yes?...OH NO!"
"Oh yeah"she said excited.
Chayo speed up without unleashing the break, Denahi was holding tight to her stomach almost hurting her. When Chayo gained enough impulse, she released the brake and then they flew off to the ramp.
"No te caigas, no te caigas, no te caigas, no te caigas" she repeated as they crossed the river. They landed on the other side, Chayo turned around and stopped the motorcycle.
"THAT WAS THE CRAZIEST THING I'VE EVER DONE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!"she yelled fulled of adrenaline and excitement as she came off the motorcycle and took off her helmet"Is that all you got Mother Nature?! You think you can scare me with some tiny crack and a little creek?! I don't think so! Right Denahi? Denahi?"
Chayo turned around and saw her friend laying on the ground. Denahi had take his helmet off, he had eyes wide open and was taking deep breaths. In few words, he was in shock.
"Wey, you okay?"
"Am I still alive?"
"Yes, why?"
"HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!"he yelled at her as he sat up.
"Come on, don't tell me you didn't have fun?"
"Have fun? HAVE FUN?!"
"Okay, okay, caray que genio"
Chayo helped Denahi to get on his feet, they hid the motorcycle in some bushes and leaded to the mountain. Once there they saw the small lake at the feet of the mountain, Denahi was carrying a small bag and Chayo a flashlight to light their way through the tunnels.
"Can you swim?"Chayo
"...Not really"
"Awsome"
They both hold their breaths and jumped to the water, Denahi tryed to follow Chayo's swim style since she had more experience due to her training. When they reached the tunnel Chayo turned on the flashlight and entered first, Denahi was behind her due that the tunnel was too narrow for both to fit. The duo exit the tunnel to find a cloak of shining blue rocks at the bottom of the big pool. When they reached the surface, Chayo and Denahi were amazed by the sanctuary of inner waterfalls.
"There, that's what we're looking for"said Denahi pointing at a bush of white orchids growing on some moss.
They both swam to the shore and approached to the bushes.
"Tanana says that we just have to take the necessary"Denahi
"What if we take a little more?"
"I deffinetly wouldn't do that if I were you"
"Why? The mountain will fall over us?"
"Don't make fun of that"
"I'm not"
"Then why are you laughing?!"
"I'm just smiling, is something wrong about that?"
Denahi rolled his eyes.
"I wonder why you're so weird and careless"he muttered as he picked up some stems and kept them on the bag.
When he was done they leaded back to the forest, they dived to the water, swam back through the tunnel and reached the exit. Chayo was about to come to the surface when something pulled her down by the ankle. This took her by surprise, then she saw that it had been Denahi...and that he was in serious troubles: some rocks fell over his waist and now he was stuck.
Denahi started to panic, he was loosing more oxygen as he tried desperatly to get free. Chayo tried to calm him down, with signs she told him she would give him oxygen through her mouth. Denahi nodded, Chayo gave him some oxygen and went back to the surface as Denahi tryied to free himself. When Chayo came back she started to remove the rocks, it wasn't easy, even if Chayo was strong enogh to lift the heaviest rocks. She was running out of oxygen, so she returned to the surfice again but when she came back she saw Denahi unconcious. She quicly took off the last rock, grabbed Denahi by the waist and swam back to the surface. Chayo gasped as she took her head out of the water and started to swim to the shore. She took Denahi out first and then she came out, she had attached the bag of flowers at her belt, so there was no worries about the mission.
"Denahi, Denahi can you hear me?"
Chayo putted two fingers on his neck to check his pulse, he was alive. The girl then started to give him first aid, she pressed her hands over his heart six times and then she gave him oxygen twice. Chayo repeated the process three times until Denahi started to cough and all the water he had swallowed came out of his body. Denahi lay on the ground as he tried to breathe normal.
"Am I dead?"
"Quisieras"she said relieved"Come on"
She offered her hand to him, Denahi took it and got on his feet. They both returned to the motorcycle and leaded back to the cliff.
"Couldn't we take another path?"
"Coyón"
...
Tanana had prepared the cure for Kenai, a white platinum potion with a soft perfume. Trent used a syringe so the cure could go directly to the blood and work faster.
For now they couldn't do more than wait...
