I'm changing this episode up just a little bit. Since Briar is a performer and singer, I'm putting a part in this chapter where Briar has to sing for her class. Sorry if that upsets some of you, I just thought it would make sense. Anyway, enjoy!

It's been a few weeks now since the meat monster attack, and I was enjoying every moment of spending it with Danny, Sam, and Tucker. As a matter of fact, Sam and I were able to reconnect over those weeks and have become best gal pals. Tucker and I have a similar relationship now, though some of his antics keep making me slap my forehead. But he's a sweet kid once you get to know him.

And Danny and I have been hanging out a lot. Jazz would sometimes try to be my psychiatrist, but I'd always run off with Danny out of the house. I know, that sounds bad. I love the girl, I do. But she's a bit much sometimes. But it felt nice spending time with him again. It kind of made that old crush I had on him form again.

"So, you had to fight a ghost dragon the other day?" I asked before I took a bite of my apple.

"Yep," Danny said as he unwrapped his sandwich. "It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. If I thought it would be, I would have called you, Briar."

"I know," I said with a grin. "I'm just glad you're okay." Danny smiled at me across the way, while Tucker stormed over and sat beside Danny. The three of us looked at him.

"Strike three, Tuck?" Danny asked with a smirk.

"Try strike 3,000!" Tucker exclaimed and pouted.

"I don't see what the big deal is about going to some stupid dance," Sam exclaimed. "I don't need to be asked to some dance to know that I'm special." I kept quiet. I kind of wanted to be asked by Danny, but I doubt he ever will. Especially since I saw this dreamy eyed look staring passed me on his and Tucker's face.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Paulina..." Danny and Tucker said in unison, making me turn around.

There I see this Hispanic girl with long black hair, tan skin, and wore a pink shirt and jeans with white sneakers. She seemed like a vision of beauty, but I can tell when someone is just an evil person. Learned that the hard way when I first got my ghost powers.

"Paulina..." Danny and Tucker said again dreamily.

"Oh please, Paulina!?" Sam exclaimed. "Girls like her are a dime a dozen!"

"Yeah!" I said as I turned back around, feeling a bit hurt that Danny saw this girl as prettier than me. But I couldn't stop the giggle when I watched Danny and Tucker pull out their change.

"How much change you got?!" Danny asked.

"Haha! Very funny," Sam said, unamused. "Just remember, you can't judge a book by it's cover."

"Well, there's only one way to find out," Tucker said. "Go on, Danny! Go to that library and check out that book!" I sighed as I threw away the core of my apple.

"I can't," Danny said. "I get weak kneed whenever I try to talk to cute girls." I perked up at the same time as Sam, looking angry as my eyes most likely turned icy blue (Tucker gulped when he looked at me, meaning they had to have been blue now).

"Oh, but you have no problems talking to me and Briar," Sam said, making Danny blush and stammer a bit. I just sighed and stood up before walking over to him. I grabbed his shoulders and pulled him up from the table.

"Skip it," I said, doing my best not to sound too sad. "Go give your weak knees some exercise." I then pushed him towards Paulina as she was sitting under a tree and eating some yogurt. I just sighed as I sat in Danny's old seat and looked at the table.

"Still like him, huh?" Sam spoke, making me look at her with a blush.

"Well...uh..."

"Wait, you have a crush on Danny?" Tucker asked me now as I looked at him, too. My face felt so hot, I had a feeling that I was blushing so hard by now. I quickly hid it in my arms.

"Girl, it's fine!" Sam said, placing a hand on my shoulder. "I'm sure once he wakes up, he'll see how much he likes you back." I glanced up from my arms and grinned at Sam, before I heard laughter. I perked up as I looked over to see Danny's pants had fallen down. His ghost powers must have gotten the better of him.

"Oh, crap!" I quickly got up and raced over to help him.

"A gentleman usually tips his hat, but I'll give you points for originality," Paulina said, an Hispanic accent coming out of her mouth. I couldn't help but glare the moment I heard her speak and stood beside Danny.

"Kudos, Danny," I stated with a smirk. "You just set the all time speed record for drowning in the shallow end of the gene pool." The look on Paulina's face was priceless. It was a mixture of shock and anger.

"Oh, no!" She yelled. "You did NOT just call me shallow, did you!?"

"If you mean, do I think I can stand in a puddle full of you and not get my feet wet? Than yeah," I said with my arms crossed.

"Shallow?! I'm not shallow!"

I just rolled my eyes as I grabbed Danny's arm, and pulled him along. "I can't believe that witch!"

"Briar, calm down!" Danny exclaimed as he pulled up his pants. "No need to get all-!" He stopped the moment he saw my eyes, meaning they were once again blue from anger.

"She's just a shallow, prima donna, princess! I can't stand people like that!"

"Something tells me you dealt with someone like her back in Ohio?" Sam asked.

"Oh, yeah," I retorted as we walked back into the school and went our separate ways to go to our own classes.

The next day came quickly and I still wasn't asked by any boys to go to the dance. But it seemed the more the day went on, the more I think Dash remembered me. Again...meat for brains.

I walked down the hallway, stopping when I saw Paulina walk by with a gold amulet around her neck. Wherever she got that I don't know. I just saw her two periods ago and she didn't have that on then. At the time I just shrugged it off and turned the corner, stopping when I saw Mr. Lancer give Danny a slip of paper...while Danny's pants fell down again.

I sighed in defeat as I walked up to him, while Lancer walked passed me, giving me a smile. I smile back at him before turning my head to Danny with an annoyed expression.

"What in all things ghostly happened?!" I yelled at him as he pulled up his pants and put a belt on around his waist. Man, he was skinnier than I thought.

"My pants fell down again and now my father has to come in for a parent-teacher conference!" He exclaimed to me as he showed me the piece of paper. I looked at it for a moment and gave him a seriously look. "I know!"

"What are you going to do?" I asked as I handed him the paper back. He took it and crammed it into his pants pocket.

"I don't know," He answered as we started walking towards our next class, which was music (don't know why Danny took up that class). "But I did find out that I can overshadow people with my powers!" I just looked at him, making him look confused.

"Dude, you're talking to a girl who's been part ghost for 4 years," I stated. "I already knew that trick!"

"Oh...right. I keep forgetting that," He said with a nervous chuckle as I rolled my eyes. Should I just ask him? I mean, what's the point of waiting for the boy I like to ask me to the dance, when I have the capability to ask him myself? Sure, most girls would wait to be asked...but I'm not most girls.

"Hey, Danny? I was just-" I started to say when I noticed his giddy smile. "What?"

"Paulina said yes," He told me, making me freeze mentally. Paulina said yes to go to the dance with Danny? Why wasn't I faster in asking him to the dance?! "I can't believe I'm going to the dance with Paulina!"

"Y-yeah. Congrats," I said with fake smile. I decided not to dwell on this for too long though, don't want to be depressed (though I am). So I shook it off and locked our arms together like friends. "So, why are you in music class?"

"Oh, Jazz thinks it'll help me with my math," Danny answered with a chuckle. "And to be honest, it has helped a bit."

"It does help," I retorted. "I've always been into the whole music scene. One day, I want to be a singer. Performing on stage, recording my songs. It'll be a dream come true."

"Speaking of," Danny began, "did you get your project finished?"

"Oh, yeah! I worked on it all night and some this morning before school!" I said with a smile. "I'm ready!"

"That's good!" I looked over to see we were in the music room now. The voice was the music teacher Mrs. Morrow. She had short graying hair in loose curls and waves. Her blue eyes were bright and calm as she smiled over at us. "Then how do you feel of being the first to perform?!" I smiled with excitement as I nodded eagerly. I could hear Danny chuckling next to me as he walked over to his seat.

I pulled out the flashdrive from bag and handed it to Mrs. Morrow, who took it with surprise. "I thought-"

"I do play some instruments, but I'd rather use the instrumental recording I created on my computer," I said with a calmed down smile now. Paulina had to walk in at this moment and sit right next to Danny. Now, I'm so glad that I was going first.

"Well, alright then, hun," Mrs. Morrow said as she walked over to her laptop and plugged it in, getting it ready. The song is the only one on the flashdrive, so it shouldn't be too hard to find. I walked further into the room and set my bag at my chair, giving a glare to Paulina as I did so. I'm not sure if the shallow witch noticed, but couldn't care less. I was about to perform for my class, and for Danny, for the first time. Safe to say, I was nervous. But with just one look from Danny, I was fine.

The late bell rang as some tardy student raced in and found their seats. Mrs. Morrow just smiled as she looked up at the class.

"Alright, kids! Today is Performance Day 1! You have to perform a song you've written or a cover of your favorite song to show us who you are as a musician," She stated. "The-"

"Mrs. Morrow, can I go first?!" Paulina asked, making me glare at her again.

"I'm sorry, Paulina, but Briar has already agreed to go first," Mrs. Morrow explained, making my glare soften as I looked proud. Nice try, witch!

Paulina growled as she sat back down next to Danny. It could have been the trick of the lights, but I could have sworn I seen her eyes glow. Then again, I was a bit nervous to perform.

"Whenever you're ready, Briar," Mrs. Morrow spoke to me, making me nod my head as the class got quiet. I noticed Danny move to the edge of his seat to listen with a smile. I couldn't help but giggle at his eagerness.

It was then that Mrs. Morrow pressed play on my song.

(SONG: "We Could Be More" – Original – written by me) [It's not finished yet. But I wouldn't mind feedback on the lyrics so far.]

The music started as I stood there, front and center, and right when my cue came to sing...I sung my heart out.

BRIAR: Seeing how you look at her/it breaks my heart in two./Seeing how she doesn't care/makes me wish she wasn't with you./I promised not to let you go/and I didn't./But it seems that you're too blind to see.../CHORUS/That I really like you/there's just something 'bout you/that I can't seem to ignore./You just make me smile/and though it's been a while/I'm wishing that one day we could be more./I wish that someday we could be more.

A short interlude played as I swayed a bit to the music, smiling like a crazy person. I could see everyone was shocked to see how sang, but it was Danny's face that showed he was more than just shocked...but proud. Paulina was just glaring.

BRIAR: I promised not to let you go/and I didn't./But it seems that you're too blind to see.../CHORUS/That I really like you/there's just something 'bout you/that I can't seem to ignore./You just make me smile/and though it's been a while/I'm wishing that one day we could be.../Oh, I really like you/there's just something 'bout you/that I can't seem to ignore./You just make me smile/and though it's been a while/I'm wishing that one day we could be more./I wish that someday we could be more.

(End of the song)

"So, how was music class today?" Sam asked me as I walked up to her and Tucker. Danny was busy with his father at this moment.

"Awesome!" I exclaimed with a hop and a twirl. "I got an A+ for my performance!"

"That's great!" Sam said with a smile. "What song did you perform?" I stopped there with my excitement as I blushed. This gave away what song. "You sang the song that was about Danny, didn't you?"

"Yeah...but Danny's too stupid to know it was about him," I explained as we walked up to the food court, finding Danny already there. "Danny! What are you doing here so soon?!"

"Just finished with Lancer," He answered with a sigh. "We have a big problem now." We sat down at a table after getting some food and Danny told us exactly what happened.

"So, your dad's going to chaperon the school dance?" Sam asked with surprise while eating a salad.

"Yes," Danny began, "but he doesn't know he's going to chaperon because he doesn't remember that I made him say yes!"

"Let me get this straight," Tucker began, "you can just walk into someone and talk over their body from the inside?"

"Yeah, pretty much," Danny answered.

"I learned that trick years ago," I retorted as I ate a fry from my tray. But I could see Tucker eyeing a girl reading a book at another table.

"Hey, Danny," Tucker began, "if you could just control a girl for about two minutes..."

"Forget it," Danny said with an eye roll. "You can get your own date to the dance, like I did." I sighed as I stood up and tossed my trash away.

"Does he have to take of his pants and act like a dweeb, or will both do?" Sam asked with a smirk, making me stifle a laugh.

"I'll meet you guys later," I said, grinning at my friends. "I'm going to go look for a new dress for the dance."

"Wait, you're still going?" Sam asked me with surprise.

"Well, I have to now," I answered. "Lancer heard me singing in the music room and asked me to perform at the school dance."

"When was this?" Danny asked as he took another bite of his burger.

"Right after you walked away to head home," I answered with a smirk. "So, yeah. I need a new dress. I'll meet up with you guys in a bit."

I walked away and let my smile fall as I stopped by a pillar. I looked behind me at Danny, seeing him talking to our friends like nothing was wrong. I guess he is too oblivious to notice my feelings for him. I sighed in defeat as a thought came to my mind. I pulled my songbook out of my bag and opened to a blank page. I wrote down the title at the top: "Invisible".

"If you could see/that we are meant to be/maybe I wouldn't feel invisible..." I mumbled to myself as I wrote down the ideas on a separate page in the book and grinned with each word. Now, I usually continue on with a new song until I have no more ideas or the song is done. But those were the only lyrics I got so far. So, I decided to set it aside for until I got home and went into the store.

I stopped the moment I saw this dress where the skirt hit the floor. It was a beautiful white dress with some icy blue accents and sparkles throughout it. It has off the shoulder straps and a beautiful crescent moon necklace to go with it. The necklace had a galaxy charm with it.

"Whoa," I spoke with surprise as I felt the material. It soft. I checked for a medium and found one instantly. So I grabbed it and raced to the changing rooms to try it on. It was the perfect dress to get Danny's attention and to show him what he's missing out on. I did stuff like this back in Ohio when I'd go to a dance and a boy I liked was going with another girl. However, it never worked out.

But something told me Danny was going to be a different story.

I put on the dress and was surprised that it didn't have a zipper. But that was fine. I didn't mind that since zippers can be such a pain sometimes. Anyway, I walked over to the mirror and grinned. I could just imagine a tiara on my head while wearing this dress. I felt like a princess as I twirled in a circle, letting the skirt fan out around me. I giggled as I smoothed it out over my flat stomach.

"This is the one," I said before changing and buying the dress. I had a pair of blue heels at home that I could wear with it, and I'm sure my mom had a small tiara clip that I could borrow as well for my hair. The look was coming together nicely.

As the cashier was putting the dress in the bag, I felt a shiver down my spine as my ghost sense went off. Great. A ghost has to be here right now?! What ghost would be haunting a mall?!

ROAR!

Oh...a dragon ghost. Wonderful.

The cashier handed me the bag quickly before ducking for safety. I yelled a thank you to her and raced out of the store with my dress, seeing the dragon ghost near the food court. Oh, great. I raced over there quickly and found Tucker and Sam hiding behind a wall.

"You two okay?" I asked them.

"Yeah, we're fine," Sam said. "But you should get out there! Danny might need your help!"

"I'm on it," I said as I handed her my bag. "Hold this for me. I don't want to lose it."

"Is that your dress for the dance?" Tucker asked as Sam took the bag.

"Yeah," I smirked. "Here's hoping it shows Danny what he's missing." I then got serious and turned into my ghost form before flying off.

"Let's start again," I heard Danny say. "Hi, I'm Danny Phantom, and you are?" The dragon roared again before flinging it's tail at Danny and sending him flying towards one of Weenie on a Skewer. He broke through the glass and fell on the ground.

"Testy...got it," I said before flying in and punching the dragon ghost away, but not too far. "Hi. The name's Stardust. Care to be polite and tell me your name?" I smirked as the dragon ghost went to hit me with it's tail as well, but I managed to dodge it quickly. I found myself in front of the place Danny got tossed to and was just able to dodge the fire the dragon blew at us.

"Sorry, dude! I think you've got the wrong weenie!" Danny yelled as he flew at full speed towards the dragon ghost, flying into it's chest and making it fly backwards. But the dragon ghost was able to grab Danny and pin him to the ground.

"MUST HAVE TEE!" The dragon ghost yelled. I quickly raced in there as fast as I could.

"Tea? Oh, good. Coffee might make you jittery," Danny stated as I readied myself. "Better yet..." He went intangible and sank through floor, which caused the dragon ghost to get confused.

"How about some PUNCH!" I yelled as flew up and slammed my fist into the dragon ghosts jaw. It sent it flying through the air and had it land on the ground. I watched as a gold amulet flew off from the dragon ghost's neck and land in a forgotten bag.

"Briar!" I heard Danny as he flew up to me, making me look at him and smile. "You okay?"

"I'm fine!" I said crossing my arms. "You're the one who took the beating!" He chuckled nervously before we found Sam and Tucker again and changed back.

"Danny! Briar! Are you two okay?" Sam asked us worried.

"Fine," Danny answered. "But that's the second time I fought that dragon!"

"So that's the dragon from two days ago?" I asked, making him nod in response. I put my hand to my chin as I thought of something. "Maybe it's time we did some research and investigated."

"I couldn't agree more," Danny said before looking at Sam and Tucker. "How are you guys?"

"Great," Tucker said. "If you don't count me still being dateless to the dance." He then pulled out his PDA and checked off names. "Sasha? No. Denise? No. I've hit every girl in school and not one of them said yes!" I gave Tucker and sympathetic look before noticing Sam's face. She must really want to go to the dance herself.

"Say, why don't you and Sam go together?" I bring up. "You know, as friends." Tucker looked over at Sam who did the same and sighed.

"I thought you didn't want to go," Tucker asked.

"Well, I do, but-"

"Who said going together has to end in becoming a couple?" I retorted. "Friends can go to a dance together and still be friends. And chances are, it makes them become best friends afterwards." I gave a smile as Tucker and Sam smiled back.

"I guess that's okay then," Sam said as she looked at Tucker.

"So, that's a yes? Even though I'm not the one who asked?" Tucker asked surprised.

"Yes, but only as friends." I couldn't help but smile more. Now all my friends were going to hear me perform at the dance, though Danny already had. This just might be better than I thought it would be.

I was in Sam's room with my dress in it's bag still. I stopped at home before coming here to grab my blue heels and my guitar. I even asked my mom if she had a small tiara clip for my hair and sadly she said she didn't. Luckily, Sam's mom did and she let me borrow it since I'm her most favorite friend of Sam's.

"You're mom's cool," I said as I did my hair at Sam's makeup table.

"You want her?" She asked, making me giggle as I put the tiara clip in my hair to hold back some of my hair out of my face. Sam already had her hair up in two pigtails at the top of her head with some of her hair still hanging down. She even had her makeup done already. It was simple and yet matched Sam's personality.

She was also on her bed while on her laptop, talking to Danny and Tucker as they got ready for the dance. I didn't want them to see me until they got there. My look was to be a surprise for Danny after all.

"Tie straight, shirt tucked in," I heard Danny say in a listing manner. "Unbreakable ghost fishing rod tucked safely away just in case." I snicked at that last one as I looked over at Sam. "What's taking so long with that dragon research, Sam?" He asked.

"Alright, geez!" Sam seemed annoyed now. "Here, I'm sending you the link." She sent them the link and I could hear that Danny was clicking it open to read more information on it. I just went over to my bag but didn't take the dress out yet. I grabbed my heels and put them on first, then I grabbed the dress and changed. I was just grateful that the boys couldn't see from the computer on the bed. If I knew they could, I would have gone into the bathroom. But Sam was kind enough to move the laptop out of the view.

"That's the amulet I gave to Paulina," I heard Danny say, which made me look in Sam's direction. "It must have accidentally fallen into my backpack. Wait..." I stood there with an amused smile on my face. "You mean...I'm going on a date with a dragon?!"

"Like I said, looks are deceiving," Sam retorted with a smirk. "I'll see you soon, Tucker." And with that, she hung and turned to me, stopping dead in her tracks. I smiled at her as I twirled in my dress and giggled.

"Well? What do you think?" I asked as she stood up and walked over to me.

"I think I feel like a proud mom watching as her kid grows up," Sam said as we both laugh. "This will for sure get Danny's attention."

"You think so?" I asked, making Sam nod and hug me.

"Thanks, Sam," I said as we pulled away. "Thanks for being like a sister to me."

"Of course! Now let me get ready and we'll head out of here together."

"Actually, I have to get to the school as soon as possible," I said with remorse. "You know...being the performer and all."

"Oh, right, I forgot about that," Sam said with a sigh. "Well, if you-"

"But I'm sure Lancer can wait," I smirked as I picked up some of my skirt and walked over to Sam's dress. I picked it and held it over her body. "This just might get someone's attention."

"I'm not counting on that," Sam said, making both of us laugh again before I helped her get ready.

Its been a few hours and Mr. Lancer said three songs were plenty since the DJ showed up afterwards. I was cool with that since I had to keep an eye on Paulina while Danny was busy with his dad. But it didn't take long before I noticed Paulina head to the bathroom. So I walked on by as Danny came out of Mr. Fenton. I stood by the doorway and brushed off my dress a bit.

"Briar?" I looked over to see Danny standing in front of me, with a light blush on his cheeks. "Whoa." I smirked as I flipped some of my hair behind my back.

"Glad you finally noticed," I said, making him snort a bit. "What?"

"I did notice...while you were on stage," He said, making me nod before...

"SHALLOW LITTLE WITCH!" I heard with my super hearing.

"The heck?!" I yelled as I raced inside quickly.

"Briar, wait!" Danny called after me as I stopped and saw the dragon flying away with someone in it's hand. Danny was beside me now as he turned into his ghost form and flew after it. I was just about to change myself when I heard thud behind me. I turned around to see a microphone on the floor. It was white with some blue accents and the same start that was on my hazmat suit as Stardust was also on the microphone.

"Where did that come from?" I walked up to and picked it up from the ground, looking it over slightly.

"Go be the pop princess I know you can be," I stood there, frozen as those words echoed in my ear. Those words were so familiar and yet...it's been a while since I heard them. However, I just shook off this feeling and gripped the microphone tighter before changing into my ghost form and flying after Danny.

I saw Danny and Paulina get tossed by the dragon's tail through the bleachers. Wait...PAULINA?! That means...

I looked up at the dragon, fear in my eyes as it looked right at me. "Sam?"

"SHALLOW GIRL!"

"Yep...that's Sam," I said before dodging one of the dragon's attacks quickly before flying towards Danny and Paulina. "Da...I mean, Phantom," I began as I noticed Dash was there with a girl, "are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," Danny said as Sam lifted up the bleachers, making Dash and the girl run away quickly. Danny quickly placed Paulina down so she wouldn't get hurt when Tucker's voice came from the walkie around Danny's waist.

"Danny, Lancer's getting close to your dad!"

"Go! I got this!" I said as Danny gave me a sympathetic look before flying off to stop his father. "Alright, Sam. As a hero, I have to stop you. But as a sister/friend...I really don't want to hurt you." I quickly flew into the air and Sam in the jaw, sending her flying backwards before she had a chance to blow fire at me.

Oh, wait...she just did. I didn't have time to go invisible or intangible and got hit by the fire. I'm surprised I wasn't burnt to a crisp or dead. But hey, I'll take it. I slowly started to get up when I saw Sam towering over me, getting ready to deliver another blow of green fire when the microphone came to mind. I looked at it in my hand and gripped it tighter. Maybe this might stop her for a moment.

I put the microphone to my mouth and closed my eyes, hoping this would work. "You're a true friend/you're here till the end..." I started to sing as I opened my eyes back up to see Sam backing up and shaking her head. "You pull me aside when something ain't-" I didn't finish this line sadly, since Sam just roared and swung her tail back at me, hitting me away and making him the scoreboard on the football field.

"Briar!" I heard Danny's voice as I looked up to see him fly towards me and help me up. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," I answered. "Let's just get Sam back." Speaking of which, Sam was blowing fire at us and we kept dodging it quickly as we took to the sky again.

"Hey, I hate to say this, but you throw fire like a girl!" Danny yelled, making me snort as I tried not laugh while also seeing an unamused face on Sam. He then pulled out the Fenton Fisher from behind his back.

"The Fenton Fisher," He said. "It catches ghosts and dragon ghosts. Way to go, dad!" He then swung the line at Sam, wrapping it around her quickly and then pulling, binding her up (wings and all) before falling to the ground. Beaten. I flew towards her and grabbed the amulet off from around her neck and held it close. It wasn't long before Sam went back to being herself.

"Sam?" Danny asked as he reverted back to his human form, while I did the same. He then knelt down before and helped her up. "Are you okay?"

"Wow," She began, "did I have fun at the dance?"

"Let's just say you had a roaring good time," I retorted, making us all laugh.

"Dude, sorry that your date didn't pain out," Tucker said as we stood around the gym. Some people were leaving some still stayed. "Where is Paulina anyway?" We looked over and saw Dash was trying to hit on Paulina again...and she wasn't having it.

I went to say something when I decided against it. I had my guitar with me in it's case and looked back over at my friends. "Ah, who cares," I said handing Sam my case. She looked at me as she grabbed it and smiled. "Look, the DJ's still playing. And," I looked at Danny specifically for this part. "I think there's time for one last dance?" I held my breath, hoping for a yes.

"Sure, I'd love to," He said, making me smile with relief. "Keep an eye on this, will ya?" He handed the amulet to Tucker as I walked up to Danny and put my hand on his arm. And then we were on the dance floor together, swaying as my hands were on his shoulder and his on my hips. I could feel the electricity going through my spine like fireworks. It felt wonderful.

But I still had to tease him.

"Promise me you'll keep your pants up?" I smirked, making Danny snort before nodding.

"I'll do my best," He said. It didn't take long for Tucker and Sam to join in with a slow dance of their own. It was nice to see considering their differences. But it especially felt nice, knowing that I was dancing the boy I have fallen in love with.

~THE END – END OF CHAPTER 2~
