Hey. That might seem a bit unusual but I feel like I need this.
You see, this story is over 130 k words now, and it has less than 40 reviews. That's even less than the number of people who favorited it.
So I'm wondering, right now, if I should continue posting or not. I've had a few wonderful reviews, and thank you for that. But for the main part, the only things I get are 'put quotation marks' (which I did, my bad), or 'this chapter updated wrongly'. Not that I don't appreciate people warning me about it. I do.
Still, I'm not writing this story for myself only. I'm writing it for you as well, readers. And I am at complete loss about what you people like or don't like. Most of the time, when I post a chapter, I get no feedback at all.
Most stories over 100k words have more than a hundred reviews. So I'm wondering if people read this, and if they so read, if they appreciate it. Maybe most of you don't. In that case, there's no point for me to keep working on it.
Is there anything I am doing wrong in the process ?
So I've decided that I would wait for some feedback (reviews or pm) before continuing Frances' journey. At least up to the point of 60 reviews on the story. Then I can make up my mind and steer the story into the proper direction. Or kill it altogether (hugh !).
