Kagome wanted a baby and he would bend for reasons. Their past blends and Sesshomaru has a plan for the future one that Kagome has no idea about. He still loves her, his wife a mere complication to his grand plan.

That night as she sat at Kaede's watching the stew boil, she wonders. Could she give up wanting children?

Her breath hitched,

"Miko,"

She looked at him, "What?"

"Kagome, didn't you hear me? I said im pregnant!" Sango repeated.

Kagome looked at her friend and smile. "Oh, congratulations!"

Sesshomaru eyed her; that fake smile always did piss him off, not that she was not happy for her friend.

Kagome knew not only could she not give up children from him, but she could never ask him to give up children for her.
