Kagome wanted a baby and he would bend for reasons. Their past blends and Sesshomaru has a plan for the future one that Kagome has no idea about. He still loves her, his wife a mere complication to his grand plan.

She had gone home the next day; he wasn't there.

She took the SATs after studying for a whole week, and it wasn't easy, but she got it done.

But still, she had to go back; she had just up and left, told them she was going to get stuff for Sango, and she did, and she returned 10 days after she left.
