The next morning...
Katsuki was awaken by Mitsuki; An 30 minutes earlier than usual.
The blonde crawled out of bed, got dressed, and dragged himself down the stairs.
Walking into the living room, he saw Mitsuki and Masaru waiting for him.
Katsuki paled, trying to think of a way to escape the situation. Unfortunately for him, Mitsuki wasn't having it.
"We really need to talk; And this time, you can't run."
Katsuki huffed in defeat and plopped down on the chair behind him.
Masaru leaned forwards and stooped his chin on his fingers.
"Who's this 'Deku' you're always talking to?"
Katsuki glared. "How many times do I have to tell you?!: He's. My. Friend!", he shouted exasperatedly.
A vein popped in Mitsuki's jaw.
"Who the hell do you think you're yelling at, brat!", she shouted back.
"You, obviously! 'Cuz youre clearly not listening, y'old hag!"
"Say that again, I dare you!"
"OLD HAG!"
"Why you little-"
Masaru sighed.
They were never going to finish this conversation.
Breaking through the two's arguing, the brunette spoke. "We have to get Katsuki to school."
The blondes froze, before rushing to get themselves ready.
Katsuki raced up to his room, grabbing his leftover treat off his dresser, then went back down to meet his parents.
At the school, the children were chattering away as usual; Mostly about Deku, but All Might popped up in a few conversations.
Katsuki was bouncing in his chair, waiting for the perfect time to summon Deku. Soon enough, he had the perfect opportunity.
His teacher (Kimyōna) approached him, a pinkish tint covering her cheeks.
"Good morning, Katsuki-kun. I see I-Izuku-san isn't here today; Do you know why that might be?"
Katsuki pouted in defiance. "Well 'that might be' because I haven't called him yet!", he mocked.
The teacher's face might as well have glowed from how red it turned. "Of-of course. You wouldn't mind asking him to come, would you? I'm sure you, as well as the rest of your classmates, are very excited to see him."
The boy snorted. "Riiigght, 'the children'.", he drawled. Katsuki rolled his eyes, but gripped the red feathers tightly. This time, he didn't speak out loud, for he was sure Deku could hear him.
'Deekkuu~!', he shouted inside his mind.
He was about to call again, but strangely, something in his mind shifted, almost like a door opening in his brain.
'Yeess~?', Deku's familiar low tone sounded from the back of his head.
Quiet whispers came along with the voice, bouncing around the corners and sliding through the seams of his brain, yet they weren't his...
'When're you coming? You're taking too long!', Katsuki whined.
Deku's voice hummed. 'Don't worry, I'll be there soon, so you calm your pretty little head.'
Katsuki's brain voice huffed. 'Well hurry up!'
An amused chuckle was heard before the door closed and the presence left.
Katsuki looked at (Kimyōna) and answered, "He said he'll be here soon."
-SMALL TIMESKIP-
Katsuki shivered.
He was rocking back and forth in his chair, as impatient as ever, a scowl forming of his face. But, before it could get anywhere, a flash of black materialized in the corner of his eye. Something, thin and lengthy, curled around the blonde's waist, it's fluffy, furry end tickled against his palms, causing the smallest giggles to escape from Katsuki. The, probable, tail set him down gently on Deku's lap before uncurling itself from his torso. Katsuki grabbed it before it could go too far, maybe a little too hard, making Deku let out a hiss, the tail smacking him in the face, escaping the child's grip.
"Sorry Deku.", Katsuki whispered.
The tail gently wrapped the boy's exposed lower leg, covering the entirety of it from his knee to his ankle, forgiving in it's movements.
"It's alright Kacchan. But, try not to do it again, please."
Apparently, the rest of the students' saw the man, and jumped to greet him. A dozen tiny voices is not the best sound you could hear.
Kimyōna was trying her best to calm the rowdy children, yet the brats just wouldn't listen! Izuku saw the woman's struggles, and decided to be the hero to swoop in and save the day (even though he was the cause of the problem in the first place.).
"Children.", he scolded, "Settle down, can you not see that your teacher is trying to gain your attention? Give her some respect."
The kids turned to their now relieved instructor, muttering apologizes under their breath.
"How about this: during recess before you all leave, I'll show you a magic trick, hm?"
Kimyōna stuttered out a protest. "I'm not sure that would-"
There was a change. Deku changed somehow.
Maybe it was the way he tilted his head.
Maybe it was how he straightened his back and squared his shoulders.
Maybe it was the way his eyes flashed.
Somehow he changed, and that change silenced the protest as the teacher hesitantly agree to the trick.
That got them going. The little rascals raced to their seats, energy almost overflowing at the prospect of magic.
While the rest of the classroom occupants were momentarily occupied, Deku offered to reheat the small treat he gave to his favorite child. Katsuki handed over the cinnamon pastry, watching Izuku place it in his hand.
Izuku held up a finger, and a flickering white flame caressed his fingertip. He set the flame upon the snack, Katsuki watching closely, as the flame covered the top layer, before slowly seeping inside of the sweet.
Deku handed the yatsuhashi back to Katsuki. The boy looked it over, searching for any sign of a fire. Once he was satisfied with his search, Katsuki bit into the cinnamon delight.
'Perfect~.', the blond thought. It was as warm and delicious as it was the night before.
RECESS!
It was that time, the time they'd all been waiting for!
The time for a MAGIC TRICK!
The children rushed around, throwing on their jackets and seating themselves before Izuku.
Izuku chuckled at the excitement of the students, balancing Katsuki on his knee before starting.
First, he conjured up a bar of gold- no, not a bar, a brick- then, he created a small hammer. He looked over the kids, mentally counting each child. He smiled. Perfect, 15 in a pile, fifteen children (minus Kacchan- he's special) to share with. He knocked the mini hammer against the bar and it cracked. Little by little the brick cracked and chipped, until it split in half. Deku lifted the halves in each hand-
and crushed them.
The kindergartners gasped as Deku opened his hands, large, golden coins falling from them. He gathered them into a pile and told all of the children to hold out their hands. The shadow picked up a coin and put one in of their hands.
15 coins in a pile, fifteen kids to share with.
Soon, all of the children had a shiny gold coin in their palms. It was almost twice the size of a quarter, which was 25 cents, so how much was this?
Deku saw the question on their faces, and decided to announce the answer. "These coins are worth 20 dollars a piece, y'know. A lot, huh? Be careful with what you use it for.", he suggested.
The kids scurried away, 'ooh'ing and 'ahh'ing at the coins, giggling all the way.
Except one.
Katsuki Bakugou.
He was not happy, for he was the only one who didn't get a shiny coin!
And of course, Izuku noticed this.
'Kacchan, what did I tell you last time, when you asked why I let you call me 'Deku'?'
Katsuki didn't look at Izuku. 'You said it's because "I'm special".', he quoted.
'Exactly.'
Katsuki felt tears well up in his eyes. 'Well if I'm so "special", why didn't I get a coin? I should get a coin since I'm special, right?'
Izuku closed his eyes. 'You're not getting a coin, Kacchan.'
Katsuki looked up, ready to jump off Deku's lap and storm off, before Izuku spoke again.
Well, he didn't really speak per se; More like did.
He held out his hand and a cloth pouch appeared. He handed the bag to Katsuki, who immediately opened it. Lots of those shiny gold coins sat inside the bag.
'I know there are three people in your house: your mother, your father, and yourself, and there are fifteen coins in a pile. 15 divided by 3 is 5; A single coin is worth 20 dollars, and 20 times 5 is one hundred. 100 times three is three hundred, so the three of you should each get 5, because as I said, you're very special.'
Katsuki worked to process the sudden math problem in his head. 'So since i'm special, I get more money than the rest of the extras?'
'Yes Kacchan, that's why you didn't get one.'
Katsuki blinked, suddenly embarrassed at his earlier outburst. 'Oh... Sorry Deku. Thank you.'
'You are very welcome, Kacchan. Now, your parents are waiting for you, tell them I said you each get five coins, and I'll know otherwise, okay? I'll see you later."
Katsuki hopped off of Izuku's lap, waving over his shoulder as he got into Bakugou's car. His mother asked about the pouch, he said he'd explain the next morning.
Midnight...
Katsuki was up and ready for tonight's visit!
As soon as Deku was standing in front of him, he tackled him in a hug and refused to let go. Deku held him up and plopped down on the bed squeezing back tightly.
He chuckled. 'What's this for?'
The small blond giggled. 'Earlier.' He squeezed harder into the hug, burying himself in Izuku's large frame.
Izuku gently unwrapped Katsuki's arms from his neck, grabbing his wrist and softly nipping at it. Katsuki could see his pearly white fangs flash, and remembered something from the day.
'What did you do to make the teacher let you show us your magic?'
Deku hummed in question against his wrist.
'You did something- what was that word? Manipuple? Milipipip?-'
"Manipulation?", Izuku muttered.
'Yeah, that! How did you do that?'
"I didn't manipulate her, I persuaded her."
'Same difference.', the boy retorted.
Izuku's large hands gripped the blond's waist, covering nearly his entire torso, a playful look in his eyes. 'If you'd like, I could show you what manipulation really is.'
Katsuki nodded enthusiastically. More knowledge means better chances at becoming a hero!
Next thing he knew, he was being held down on his bed by Izuku, while multiple tendrils tickled his sides.
Katsuki's breathless giggles filled the room as he tried to squirm away from the appendages. He begged Izuku to stop the torture, and in the futile process of trying to push the man away, his hand grazed Deku's (apparently) exposed neck. The tendrils paused as Izuku sputtered out a snort, and Katsuki took his chance to attack.
While Izuku was recovering from the surprise attack, he tickled the shadow's neck. A boisterous laugh exploded from Deku from Katsuki's fingers trailing across his neck and ribcage. His hands tightened in a bruising grip making the blond boy wince, but not giving the shadow a chance at escape.
"Do you feel the pain Deku!"
Izuku spluttered a 'yes', but then froze, and shuddered.
He wrapped his arms around his torso and trembled, falling onto his side next to Katsuki.
"Ah! Body spasms, what are these!", he laughed out.
Katsuki infectious giggles started up again, making Izuku's high pitched cackles sound.
After a few minutes, the only sounds left were tired gasps and pants.
Izuku couldn't make out the words of goodbye for Katsuki was falling asleep every second.
Thankfully, he left just as Katsuki's parent burst into the room. They saw Katsuki's sleepy smile and quiet pants and calmed slightly.
That was until they saw the purple underneath Katsuki's raised shirt. Mitsuki lifted it more and gasped at the deep purple, hand-shaped bruises on his torso.
Oops?
