A opaque fog covered the floor.

The room got colder, and one could barely see the parting of the fog as something moved through it.

The older Bakugou's couldnt see what- who- was in their house; But Katsuki could see it.

He could see the cobwebs on the ceiling shifting as the entity ghosted past them.

He could see the dust on the coffee table disappearing in a smooth trail, as a finger wiped off a line.

He could see the faint glowing eyes, visible through the cerulean mist, darting around before focusing on him.

He could see it.

He could see him.

Deku.

The ride to school was tense. The passengers were quiet, the only noise in the car was the sound of Katsuki's seat squeaking from his bouncing.

The mist and coldness had followed him out of the house and into the car, now swirling around Katsuki's head, messing with his hair. It made him shiver, and giggle. His parents kept glancing at him through the rear-view mirror. They could feel the hostility towards them.

Katsuki jumped out of the car as soon as it stopped, rushing inside. The mist lingered, but soon faded.

The day was the same as always. Easy work, rowdy kids, Deku watching him at all times, never too far from him.

Thankfully, recess came before Katsuki fell asleep on Deku's lap.

Katsuki didn't want to be near the other extras, so they decided to make flower jewelry. Katsuki was gonna make the best bracelet Deku'd ever seen.

"Go find some flowers Deku.", the blond ordered.

After Deku had wandered off, Fingers and Wings stomped up to him.

"What did you do?", Wings demanded.

"Hah?!"

Fingers stomped his foot, hands on his hips. "Some rich guy with a bunch of quirks shows up, and just starts paying attention to only you? That's weird!"

"You must've did something.", Wings finished.

Katsuki huffed, smirking. "It's not my fault Deku thinks I'm way more awesome than the rest of you extras!"

Fingers's fingers (lol) lengthened and curled into fists.

But before he could anything, a very large shadow fell over them.

"Are these children bothering you Kacchan?"

Katsuki, who had his back to Deku, sniffled and wiped his eyes with his sleeve. He turned to the tall man, his bottom lip wobbled, eyes shiny. "Y-yeah. They keep- they- they keep saying mean stuff, Deku.."

Izuku reached down and picked up the child. His gaze trailed down to the other two children. Slowly, from the feet up, the two began to turn to stone.

"That is absolutely unacceptable. I should turn you two into worms and let the crows feast upon your bodies."

If they could shiver, they would. Fingers and Wings could only listen, look, and breathe, and both wished their eyes were closed. Deku looked downright demonic. Glowing red eyes in a sea of black, looming over them with the height of a tree... absolutely terrifying.

"You- you don't have to do that Deku, I think they learned their lesson."

Izuku glanced at the blonde boy, and the stone receded to only the boys' feet. He covered Katsuki's ears.

"You two are so fucking lucky, y'know that? If Kacchan wasn't here, I would've torn you both to shreds and fed you to pigs."

He walked off with Katsuki in his arms, and left two children with soaked pants.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

Izuku and Katsuki were laying in a field on a hill in the forest behind the school.

There were roses bushes, small sunflowers, daises, dandelion and other flowers scattered around. Izuku was weaving sunflowers and roses into a bracelet, having already made a crown for Katsuki, while the blond was trying to make a daisy necklace, since he accidentally made Deku a bracelet.

"Do those boys mess with you a lot?"

"Not really." Katsuki shrugged. "They just think they're better than me, since I don't have my quirk yet."

"You don't?"

"You get your quirk when you turn 4. Jeez Deku, you've got some stuff to learn."

"What can I say? I'm old."

Katsuki giggled. "You're funny Deku! That's why you're my best friend!"

Izuku slid the finished bracelet onto the boy's wrist. "Am I now?"

"Yeah! You're not like the other extras, you're special!"

Deku sighed, white pupils turning into hearts. "You're too good for this word; It doesn't deserve you. Anyone should be honored to be your friend."

Katsuki laughed again and scooted closer to the man. "See, we're the only ones that think that!" The boy's smile slowly fell. "Not even mom or dad think so. It's just you and me, Deku..."

Izuku pulled the boy into his lap, stroking his face. "They don't understand you like I do, Katsuki. I know more about you than you know about yourself. No one else knows you like me."

Katsuki looked up at Deku. "You do?"

"Yes. With my age, I've learned a lot of things. I'd say I know almost everything."

The blond rested his head on Izuku's chest, and relaxed into the large hand. "How old are you Deku?"

Izuku paused. Then, he laughed, almost sounding sad. "I've forgotten what it feels to be young. It's been... such a long time.."

"I can help you."

"..What?"

Katsuki raised his head. "Feel young again."

"Kacchan-"

"I'm still young, so I can help you! We'll do young things together!"

Izuku's pointed teeth showed with his smile. "Alright Kacchan; You can... help."

The end of the last class came, and Katsuki's parents rolled up to the school. The boy went outside to meet them, but the two directed him inside the car, and instead going into the school.

The found Katsuki's teacher cleaning up the classroom.

Mitsuki went up to her. "Oi, you're Katsuki's teacher, right?"

The woman confirmed and Masaru stepped up.

"Has there been anyone... strange here?"

"I wouldn't say so, no.", the woman (Kimyōna) replied.

"So there hasn't been anyone besides you watching Katsuki?", Masaru asked.

Kimyōna hesitated.

"Well... yes, there is- someone watching him, I mean."

"Who?", Mitsuki demanded.

Another pause from the woman. Masaru took his chance.

"This is very important, and if you know anything, please tell us."

"Why- why do you ask- about him?"

The male brunette could feel his wife seething behind him. "This person might be trying to hurt Katsuki."

The teacher looked away, fiddling with her sleeves. "I... I had my suspicions at first. I had asked Katsuki-kun where he had met him, and he said he had just, shown up in Katsuki-kun's room, and that he was watching him-"

"Slow the fuck down real quick. Who is 'he'?", asked Mitsuki.

"Katsuki-kun calls him 'Deku'?"

"So the fucker just decided, 'Hey, let's go break into some random person's house! Oh look, a kid, let's go say hi!', and now suddenly they're best fucking friends?"

"Basically."

"Do you know his actual name? Or what he looks like?", Masaru urged.

"No, and he always has this shadow on him, I guess to hid his identity."

"Fuck."
