Katsuki felt the changes the moment he woke up.

Today was gonna be weird.

Firstly, Mitsuki hadn't woken him up like she usually did. Masaru did.

Secondly, the clock showed 9:37 am (0937 hours). Katsuki was usually woken up at 8:00 o'clock, since school started at 8:15. So they were way late.

Thirdly, when Katsuki got downstairs, Mitsuki was making breakfast, something she usually didn't do. That was Masaru's job.

Oh, and Deku was standing over Mitsuki while she was cooking.

"Mornin'.", said Katsuki, walking into the kitchen.

"Good morning Kacchan."

"Finally got up, huh brat?"

Katsuki rolled his eyes. "Obviously. You should get your eyes checked, you might be going blind. Old hag."

"Sit down or you're not getting breakfast.", Mitsuki scoffed.

The boy huffed. "How rude.", he turned to the table. "Come sit with me Deku."

The parents jumped, looking around wildly for the intruder.

Deku sighed, chuckling all the while. "Why did you tell them Kacchan?"

"Because it's funny."

The man shook his head, sliding out a chair and sitting on it (what else would he do? eat it?). Katsuki climbed up onto Izuku's lap.

Meanwhile, M & M had to watch a chair magically get pulled out, with their Skittle son talking to the ghost haunting their house.

Masaru brought over a bowl of... something, trying to ignore the ominous feeling he got from being near Katsuki.

Katsuki picked up his spoon, dipping it into the white substance. "Deku?"

"Yes?"

"What the frickity frack is this shitake?"

Izuku giggled. "'Frickity frack'?"

"I'm three, I can't curse."

"Right, right, I almost forgot."

"Now that you remember, what is this stuff?"

Deku muttered 'sassy' under his breath, and brought his face closer to the food. He closed his eyes to think for a moment.

"Scrambled eyes, almonds, and rice porridge." Izuku sniffed again. "With soy sauce."

"Did you just say scrambled eyes?"

Deku shook his head. "Eyes, I meant. I mean ey-I mean eggs! Scrambled eggs!"

The shadow hid his face while the child laughed at him. Katsuki brought his attention back to the food.

'It looks nasty..', he thought.

Deku's large hands rubbed his sides. "Try it. If you don't like it, you don't have to eat it."

Katsuki stirred the porridge, scooping up a small portion and putting it in his mouth. He gagged. "This is why Mom doesn't cook!"

It was so bland that he almost choked on his own tongue. Not to mention the horrible texture.. Katsuki gave Deku the rest of his half-eaten spoonful.

Izuku blinked at the feeling in his mouth, before clearing his throat. "I'll take it you don't like it, Kacchan?"

The child stared at the shadow, but didn't say a word. Deku cleared his throat again. "Would you... would you like something else?"

"Please."

Izuku swept the dish away and tapped his fingers on the table. "Do you like strawberries? "

"Yeah."

"Raspberries?"

"Mhm."

"Have you ever tried melon?"

Katsuki glanced at Deku. "You ask a lot of questions. 'Thought you said you know more about me than I do. 'Said you know almost everything."

"I do, I'm just double checking."

With a wave of his hand, the former breakfast was replaced with a colorful platter. Pancakes cut into hearts, bacon, spicy scrambled eggs, mini croissants, mini chocolate donuts, small yogurt parfaits with pink sprinkles, strawberries, raspberries, melon slices, grapes, and cups of whipped cream, cream cheese, Nutella, jam, with topped strawberry hearts, and a chocolate milkshake with chocolate sprinkles (1).

"Simp.", Someone coughed.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

Where were Katsuki's parents during those few minutes? Well, they were in the living room.

On the phone.

With a detective.

Tsukauchi Naomasa was his name. Naomasa? More like 'No Mama'. Ha. No.

Anyway, the older Bakugou's had spoken to the detective after they had gotten home from speaking with Katsuki's teacher. He had said that he might've dealt with so-called the person-thing-creature before, so he was happy to talk to Katsuki about it.

Mitsuki peeked her head into the kitchen just in time to see a shadow creature conjuring up a Valentine's Day breakfast. Katsuki was also feeding it strawberries, but that's besides the point.

"Simp.", she coughed, slithering back to her husband.

Masaru was hanging up when she got back. He spoke, "Naomasa-san said he'd be here in about, 20-30 minutes."

"Good. Katsuki!"

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

Katsuki was in pure bliss.

He was eating a delicious meal made by one of his favorite people in the world; Surrounded in the warmth of Deku's body, shielding him from the chilly house, what could possibly go wrong today?-

- Said everyone and no one ever.

Because of course something goes wrong!

Katsuki felt Deku leaning forward against his back. "Your parents called someone.", Izuku whispered in his ear.

"Who?", he asked.

"A detective. He's going to try to get some information out of you to get to me."

Katsuki looked back at the man. "Why?"

Deku sighed. "There was a misunderstanding a few years back, so he doesn't really trust me."

"Okay."

"He might say some mean things, so don't listen to him when he does." He paused. "And don't let him touch you. At all. No taking off your clothes, no looking under your clothes. Nothing. Period."

"Okay."

"No one should touch you in any way, shape, or form that you don't like or that makes you uncomfortable. No one should be touching you, period. If you don't like it, it shouldn't happen."

"The blond cocked his head. "What about you?"

"What about me?"

"You said no one should touch me; So why do you?"

Deku froze, his body stiffening. "Do you not like when I touch you Katsuki?"

"I don't not like it."

Izuku hummed. "Do you trust me Kacchan?"

No hesitation. "Yeah! You're my best friend!"

"Do you trust the detective?"

The boy blinked. "Shouldn't I?"

"You don't really have to trust anyone. Especially not a stranger."

"...Then no, I don't trust him."

"No one should touch you Katsuki. Not your parents, teachers, classmates, doctors, not even me, if the touch will hurt you."

"Would you touch me to hurt me Deku?"

Izuku shook his head wildly. "No no no, of course not! I would never try to hurt you!"

"Good."

"Listen Kacchan, the detective has... a special 'quirk'. Lie detection. (Detector for a detective. Perfect.)"

Katsuki nibbled on a grape. "So he'll know if I lie. What am I supposed to do?"

"Tell half-truths. He won't be able to tell the difference."

Kacchan tilted his head in question. "Like what?"

"So, like, um, like, if he asks if you know my name. You could be like 'He told me to call Him Deku, I heard his name but he really quiet when he said it so the class didn't hear it.' Or something like that."

The blond child nodded slowly. "So don't lie, but don't tell the whole truth.."

"Exactly." Deku nodded.

"Alright. Got it."

"Katsuki!"

Split into two parts because I got distracted.
