Katsuki sat on Deku's lap in a chair at the police station.

He was waiting for his parents to come back from talking to an officer, and they were taking waayy too long.

The blonde boy had his head against Deku's lower chest, snacking on a cake pop that the man had gifted him. Deku's fingers ran through his hair, the boy's head tucked his chin, soothing Katsuki's nerves. He was just so warm, and he was so darn comfortable, that Katsuki could've fallen asleep right then and there.

Unfortunately for him, Mitsuki and Masaru came back, with a guest. Not really though, since he worked at the police station...

Anyway, this not-so-guest was Naomasa Tsukauchi, the head detective of the Japanese Police Force.

(I thought his last name was his first name. His first name turns out to be Naomasa... The More You Know-)

He guided the Bakugou Trio to a room with strange silver words on it. Before the detective opened the door, he turned to the Bakugou couple.

"Could I talk to Katsuki-kun privately? He might hide valuable information if you two are in the room.", Tsukauchi whispered. "There's another door just around the corner, where you'll be able to see inside the room, along with some of my colleagues."

M&M nodded and walked back the way they had came.

The minute the detective opened the door, Deku glided in front of Katsuki, and sat on the metal table in the center of the room. Tsukauchi closed the door after Katsuki and the blonde settled in a chair at the table. Tsukauchi took a small container from his trench coat pocket. He walked around the table in a large circle, sprinkling what seemed to be salt behind him.

"Why are you putting salt on the floor?", Katsuki asked.

The detective paused. "Because if this is the person I think it is, we're gonna need it."

Katsuki said nothing as Deku swore under his breath.

Once the man tucked the salt back and sat in a chair, the interrogation began.

Tsukauchi took out a notepad and a few black folders. "My name is Naomasa Tsukauchi. My quirk is called 'Lie Detector', so I will know if you're lying, Katsuki-kun."

Katsuki nodded, watching as Deku nudged the folders away with his foot.

"Now, I'm going to ask you some questions, and I need you to answer them as honestly as you can. It's okay if you don't know something, but I will know if you're lying. Got it?"

At Katsuki's nod, Tsukauchi cleared his throat, and placed his hands under the table.

"Your name is Katsuki Bakugou, correct?"

"Yes."

Tsukauchi's left hand pressed a button under the table, signaling to those watching through the one-way mirror that Katsuki was telling the truth.

"How old are you Katsuki-kun?"

"Three, almost four."

Truth.

Tsukauchi smiled. "So you'll be getting your quirk soon yeah? Are you excited?"

Katsuki grinned. "Yeah! I know mine'll be just as cool as All Might's! Or maybe even-", He stopped.

"Or even whom Katsuki-kun?", Naomasa asked.

The blond shook his head. Deku was laying back on the table, a finger held to his toothy smile, and a palm held up in pause.

"If you don't tell me, I'll have to count that as a lie.", the detective urged.

"No one.", the boy muttered, glancing away.

Tsukauchi's left hand pressed a button.

Lie.

Naomasa continued. "So, I heard you've met someone; Care to tell me whom?"

"Don't you already know?"

"I'd like you to say it, so we're on the same page."

Katsuki glanced at Deku, who nodded silently. The boy paused. "I call him Deku."

Truth.

"Has he told you his real name?"

"Hedidn't really tell me; He told my teacher, but I don't think the class heard."

T҉r҉u҉t҉h҉.҉*

'So most of that was true..'

Naomasa pressed both buttons at the same time.

"Your teacher knows?"

"She should."

Truth.

"Do you know how old Deku is?"

Katsuki stopped to think. Was it a lie? He didn't know, but he knew he had to be pretty old. "No."

T҉r҉u҉t҉h҉.҉*

"But you have a guess.", Naomasa stated.

Deku nodded.

Katsuki bit his lip. "He said... He said he didn't remember how being young feels. That it's been a long time."

Truth.

Tsukauchi wiped his hands on his pants. "How old do you think he is?"

"...I don't know.."

Truth.

"Hm.. How did you meet 'Deku'?"

Katsuki looked at Deku. His shadowed fingers tapped lightly against his stomach, eyes closed in thought.

Finally, he thought to Katsuki, "Go ahead."

"I couldn't sleep and he just showed up in my room by the door.-"

Truth.

"-He talked to me in my head and kept coming back at night.-

Truth.

"-He told me to call him Deku.-

Truth.

"-He helped me and gave me cool presents and money!-"

Truth.

"-He plays with me even though no one else does... He's really nice to me and said everyone else should be want and happy to be my friend.. He protects me and healed me and makes sure I'm happy and that no one hurts me or is mean to me."

Truth. Truth, truth. Truth, truth, truth, truth.

Katsuki's face dimmed, and he gazed down at his lap. "He doesn't make me cry like everyone else. He says stuff that no one's said to me before. He doesn't hurt me- well, except that one time, but that was an accident.."

The blond's head lifted, looking at the detective with shining eyes. "That's why Deku's my best friend. He'll always be, no matter what!"

TRUTH.

The room was quiet. There was little movement, besides Deku, who's hands covered his beaming face, his chest contracting and expanding in silent laughter.

Naomasa coughed. "Sounds like you really like him. So he hasn't hurt you at all?"

The boy's finger tapped at his chin. "There was one time- but he didn't mean it! It was an accident!- he was tickling me and I tickled him and I got hurt a little.. But my sides just hurt a little for a little, s'all!"

Tsukauchi stood and walked to Katsuki's side of the table. He crouched down in from of him.

"Could you lift your shirt? I'd like to see if there are any bruises on you, if I may."

"It's okay to say no to an adult Kacchan. If you don't have or want to do it, you can't be forced to by anyone. Remember what I said."

Katsuki's hands tightened on his shirt. He stepped back and shook his head. "No. I don't want to."

"I just want to check-"

"No! You might hurt me.", Katsuki stepped back more.

Naomasa scoffed. "I'm a detective; A police officer. I wouldn't try to hurt a kid."

"I don't know that. I don't know you."

"You might not but-"

"An adult shouldn't try to look under a kid's clothes."

The detective faltered. "That... That is true, in most- some- cases. But-" He paused. "Has Deku touched you? Under your clothes?"

"No? I don't think so? I don't remember."

Truth.

Naomasa placed his hands on his bent knees. "What if I told you that 'Deku' has hurt many children, and others as well?"

Deku snorted from his spot on the table. "I have not hurt 'many children'. Fuckin' liar- oops. You didn't hear that."

Katsuki skeptically scrutinized Naomasa, urging him to continue.

"What is I told you that 'Deku'-

-Was, and is, a villain?"

The boy shook his head. "I don't believe you."

"That's the whole reason we're trying so hard to find him; So he doesn't hurt you, or anyone else. What would you do if your 'best friend' turned out to be a very bad villain?"

Katsuki hesitated to answer. His eyes switched between Tsukauchi, who was waiting with a smug face, and Deku, who was gazing at him with unreadable eyes.

"I- I don't know..."

LIE.

"You lied Katsuki. Is that your final answer?" (Game show host much?)

Katsuki looked down and nervously played with his fingers. "That wouldn't- that wouldn't change anything. He doesn't hurt me, and I don't think he hurts anyone. He'd still be my best friend. If he did hurt someone, it's prolly 'cause they did something bad."

Naomasa was silent. He stood from his crouch and gathered his folders. "There are bad people out there Katsuki. They like hurting people, and do it just because they can and no one will fight back. Some people- horrible people- like hurt children, and do terrible things to them. I don't want him to do that to you;

Because he's done it to his own family."

"He'll do it to you as soon as he has the chance."

Katsuki made sure to kick the salt circle while he left the table.

Deku floated behind him silently, and stayed silent, until Katsuki got to his room at the house.

Katsuki was set on the man's lap. "You did such a good job Kacchan. I'm so proud of you." The words were whispered into his ear.

"Is the stuff he said true, Deku?"

The hands rubbing his sides paused for a millisecond. "No. Of course not darling. I told you he'd say mean things, and that none of it was true."

"I thought so. I knew that."

Deku chuckled and nuzzled into the boy's neck. "I know you did Kacchan. You're so smart." Deku's hands slithered up his shirt, lengthy nails grazing Katsuki's abdomen.

"You make me so happy Kacchan, I could just eat you up." Izuku's soft pecks stopped as his sharp teeth poked Katsuki's shoulder.

"No, no, don't eat, don't eat me!"

Katsuki giggled, Izuku having pushed him down and nipped and kissed at his neck, clavicle, jaw, and chin.

Tiny pale hands contrasted against an inky black face.

"I really like you Deku; Y'know that?"

Izuku turned his face and kisses Katsuki's palm. "I heard. And I more than like you sweetheart."

Katsuki's head tilted. "You love me?"

"I do."

"Really?"

The man's chuckle vibrated against Katsuki's hand. "I've loved you since forever. I've loved you before you were even born."

Katsuki beamed. "You have?"

"I have. I've missed you terribly. More than you'll ever know."
