Katsuki was excited.
Why? He didn't know.
What he did know, was that it was going to be a good day. For whatever reason that was.
When he had woken up, there was a present for him next to his bed. A large box wrapped in gold with a red ribbon was the first thing Katsuki had seen when he opened his eyes.
He slipped out of bed with a smile and carefully unwrapped the gift.
Inside the box, there were two more wrapped gifts, a bag, and a lavender rose with gold tips and a note. Katsuki first took out the bag. When he opened it, there was a silver metallic bucket hat, a silver metallic hooded jacket, a shirt, pants, and shoes (1). Basically his outfit for the day.
The blond took out the other two boxes. Both were pretty small, and quite light, with 'Mitsuki' written on one, and 'Masaru' on the other.
The lavender rose floated up and out of the box and tucked itself behind his ear, the note drifting into his palm, making Katsuki giggle.
He slid on the clothes and accessories, and walked downstairs were he was sure his parents were waiting.
When Katsuki got downstairs, he realized his parents were still asleep. Which was surprising considering the fact that the sweet smell in the air had woken him from a deep, heavy sleep. And Katsuki Bakugou never wakes up by himself.
Following the smell into the kitchen, Katsuki saw Deku gliding around with a silent grace, moving between the stove, oven, and dining room table.
"Morning Deku."
"Good morning Kacchan.", he replied with a short glance.
"What're you making?", Katsuki asked, sitting at the table.
Izuku came over and set a dish down, taking off Katsuki's hat and kissing his forehead. "Cinnamon rolls and grilled watermelon; Since you like it so much."
"Why? What day is it? Is it a special day?"
"Friday. And yes. No I won't tell you," Deku winked. "That's a surprise."
Katsuki took back the hat and munched on a slice of watermelon, watching as Deku finished setting up the table. "Go wake up your parents, they have something to tell you. I'll see you soon Kacchan."
With that, Izuku disappeared forever...
JK, he'll be back.
Katsuki sat at the table with Mitsuki and Masaru, who took in the goods with awe and surprise, respectfully.
"I know you didn't make this Katsuki.", spoke Masaru.
"Your little 'bestie' woke ya up and made breakfast, huh?", Mitsuki glowered.
"Yeah, he did. Now hurry up and sit down before it gets cold.", Katsuki ordered with a stern look.
The M&M couple did so, while the Skittle child peeked at them between bites. With every glance at the clock, the time was getting shorter and shorter, with nothing of importance being said.
Eventually, Mitsuki had enough.
"What?", she growled.
"Don't you have something to tell me? About today?"
Masaru chortled. "Of course, of course, Katsuki. Be patient, I'm sure he'll be here soon."
"Who'll be here soon?", Katsuki urged with a sigh of irritation.
"You'll know when he gets here.", Shrugged Masaru.
"Is it that mean guy again? I don't like him."
The couple said nothing.
Minutes later, the doorbell rang.
Masaru go up to greet the guest, leaving the blondes in the dining room.
Mitsuki cleared her throat. "Today's your father and I's anniversary, so we'll be gone for a while. We'll probably be back after you're in bed, so don't bother causing trouble for the sitter. Oh, and you've got a babysitter."
"What."
"Be nice to him, don't be rude or you'll be grounded for the rest of the month. That means no All Might for you. At all.", Mitsuki warned with a tight smile, pulling Katsuki into the living room where their guest was waiting.
"He'll be taking you to school, staying with you, and watching you until we get back. 'Kay?"
Katsuki stuck out his bottom lip and crossed his arms. "Whatever.", He muttered. He stomped into the room, ready to challenge this 'babysitter' to see if he was worthy enough to be in Katsuki's presence, when he caught sight of the man.
He recognized those glowing greens anywhere, the ones where the pupils formed hearts every time he gazed at Katsuki.
Those knife-like teeth that shined when he smiled, always so joyful to see him.
The feeling he got that tugged on both his heart and mind when he was near. That feeling he'd gotten since they first met.
His number one fan, his best friend, the one who loved him most.
Izuku Midoriya.
