I have three Omake chapters planned and all three of them will be released before the Wave Arc But it's your decision on which one you'll see first. The first one will be released one or two chapters in the future, the second after the massacre, and the third after graduation.

Danzō and Headbands

March 7th 25 days until Massacre

Shisui waited in the trees, it had been eight days since he had suggested his plan to the Hokage. But due to the recent hysteria surrounding the academy he was told to wait. He grit his teeth Ryan, no Naruto had told him that if he wanted to change the future he should do so responsibly. He listed off alternate worlds where things went horribly wrong due to one foolish change in history. One title that seemed to pop up a lot was Nine Minutes and Shisui will admit it freaked him out when Naruto shivered at the thoughts of things going that bad.

Shisui suddenly shunshinned out of the way as multiple kunai and shuriken struck where he was just standing. 'So Danzō made his move huh?' Shisui thought. A ROOT agent lunges out of the tree with a kunai and Shisui easily deflected it. 'Looks like he doesn't think much of me either, I guess that'll make this much easier.'

Kidomaru didn't know whether to be worried or impressed. He, Naruto, and the Hyugga girl Hinata had taken a visit to the Nara compound to play a few board games with Shikamaru. Everyone was actually going to show up at some point for a big game night. In actuality is was because people had been getting unnerved by how quiet Naruto had been lately like he was always deep in thought. Of course as he was still Naruto he still made wise cracks and he and Ino were constantly pranking each other but it was clear to everyone that something was very wrong.

Sakura had suggested it at first but her house was way to small to hold the eleven of them. Choji didn't want us at his place since he just got ungrounded and didn't want any of us to break something by accident (which with people like Kiba and Naruto around was a real possibility. From there it was a long stream of excuses from Ino's overprotective father to Sasuke's families distaste for all non-Uchiha's.

Eventually it seemed that Shikamaru would be forced to host the whole event something that he believed would be incredibly troublesome. But like most Nara in the end it was his own curiosity was what led him to agree to Sakura's offer.

Kidomaru sighed he hated to admit it but he was also worried. Despite being forced into this friend group he had found that he quite enjoyed spending time with them. He couldn't remember much about before he joined the village, from his shattered memories he was part of a clan in most before it was slaughtered by the Mizukaze. He then wandered the woods for a bit and that was the last thing he could remember before being brought to Konoha.

But for some reason Kidomaru longed for the acceptance that this new group of friends had granted him. He hated to be alone and especially hated being alone in the dark.

Then there were the dreams, Well nightmares to be precise. They were never clear but they always took place in the same dark and dingy lab where his only company were white snakes that would torment him endlessly.

Kidomaru shook his head he may have hated the night but the day was always a happy time for him. Ever since the first day he had been surrounded by friends and lived in a colorful busy bustling city.

"Hey Kidomaru" The six armed ninja was brought out of his thoughts.

"What is it Naruto?" He asked.

"I know why you guys are doing this." He said "And I really have to thank you I need to blow off some steam."

"Steam from what?" Hinata asked politely "Neji's training isn't that bad is it?"

Naruto snorted "No way, all I have to do is sit in a field looking like I'm part of some sort of freak show. You have to do all the hard stuff."

Hinata giggled "You'd be called the living magnet."

Shikamaru raised an eyebrow before Hinata stuck a cup to Naruto to demonstrate. "He has so much chakra that he can stick just about anything to his body the same way we do to stick leaves to our foreheads in class."

Shikamaru nodded in understanding while Kidomaru looked bewildered "Wh-what?" He asked.

"Welcome to the world of ninja where nothing makes sense." Naruto and Hinata said in unison.

Naruto laughed "Hey Kidomaru let's play a game of chess if I do it against Shikamaru I'd lose for sure."

"He's not half bad." Shikamaru supplied.

Kidomaru sighed "Fine but I'm not going to go easy on you."

"Oh don't worry I'm not going to either." Naruto said. In his mind however he couldn't stop thinking about the massacre the white and black kings turned into Shisui and Danzō respectively. 'I've given you all the pieces you need.' He thought 'Now it's just about how you use them.'

Shisui stood in a clearing facing five ROOT agents 'It's going just as Naruto said it would.' Shisui thought 'and that means next comes...'

"Very fast... Well reasoned, Shisui of Teleportation." Danzō and Shisui said/thought at once.

'No doubt about it now.' Shisui thought 'that kid knows the future, he's scary accurate too how did he remember the exact words he'd use?'

A few years ago

A dirty blond haired pre-teen watched Naruto on his nice brown couch.

"Very fast... Well reasoned, Shisui of Teleportation."

'What a stupid line.' Ryan thought 'If I remember anything from this episode in the future it's how dumb this line in particular is.'

Shisui sighed 'You know what, something's telling me it's not nearly as impressive as I'm making it out to be.'

Danzō walked in front of his men "All of you just stay back." He warned, at once the ROOT agents obeyed.

"Heh" Shisui laughed "What's the matter Danzō? Didn't like something I suggested? Not enough murder for your tastes?"

Danzō furrowed his brow. Was he not upset? It was almost as if he was expecting him. "Kotoamats-"

"Cut the chat old man." Shisui said "We both know that you don't want me to stop the coup my way. You may have a point when you say that the Uchiha may try another coup in the future but we still can't know for certain."

Danzō shook his head "And when you die what then?" Danzō asked "We cannot guarantee that another Uchiha will be able to use such an ability, face it we will have to deal with the Uchiha in the future. Even if an extermination is necessary."

Shisui grit his teeth, reading about it was one thing but hearing it coming straight out of the man's lips was a completely different story. "So genocide is your best plan?!"

"It's all for the good of the leaf." Danzō reassured "Now if you'll excuse me I'll be taking your eyes." Danzō lunged at Shisui Who shun-shinned out of the way easily. He smirked 'you're not the only one who has a few secrets Danzō.' Shisui thought back to a book Naruto had given him just two days prior.

Shisui has no idea what to expect when Itachi told him to go and meet Naruto at his apartment But it certainly wasn't what he saw before him. He had quickly learned that Naruto had two distinct personalities, when he was just goofing around with friends or on his own he'd be relaxed and silly but when Itachi and him were there to meet with Naruto he became much more serious. The playfulness was still there just really toned down. Shisui had walked in on serious Naruto.

"I was thinking about some things." Naruto said "You want advice to fight Danzō I can't give you much help. However what I can do is give you as much information as possible. This book contains all the information I could possibly give you relating to Danzō and his abilities, Every technique he used against you and Sasuke is listed here, strengths and weaknesses, backstory if that's what your into, you name it I probably have it written down somewhere."

Shisui was taken aback "This is some incredibly valuable information. I don't know how to thank you."

"Try not dying." Naruto joked "I'd be nice to know I was able to change something on purpose instead of by accident."

Shisui smirked "Don't worry about me kid."

"Wait!" Shisui stopped as Naruto stared at him. "Look... I'm going to be blunt with you I know that you want to kill Danzō."

Shisui opened his mouth to talk But was interrupted "And that's fine if you think that it's the best course of action I'll respect your decision." Naruto laughed "I know you don't want to be told this by an eight year old but be careful when changing the future, One wrong move could spell disaster, so change things responsibly okay? Because if you don't literally anything can go wrong, the changes my mere presence has brought should prove that."

Shisui sighed "Don't worry about it kid I can take care of myself.

"Wind Style Vacuum Blast"

"Danzō has access to Wind, Earth, Water, and Fire release. As well as both Yin and Yang release although from my experience it appears that he prefers wind techniques." Shisui recited as he dodged Danzō's attack. Several powerful spinning shuriken blades at Shisui which he was also able to teleport away from "He often infuses wind into his weapons making them much more deadly." Shisui snickered internally as he remembered what else the book had said 'Of course he was using shuriken so it never actually did anything.'

The ROOT agents were stunned at how much the Uchiha knew about their boss and apparently Danzō had the same thoughts.

"Where the hell did you get this information from?!" Danzō demanded.

"Wouldn't you like to know." Shisui smirked. Danzō growled and kicked Shisui in the ribs with incredible speed. "Damn it I got cocky." Shisui muttered 'The old bag still has a lot of fight in him, looks really can be deceiving.'

"Now tell me who's providing you with all this information?!" Danzō asked.

"I'm providing myself." Shisui lied "I had a feeling you'd try something scummy so I did a little digging. Which means I also know about those cells of yours."

Danzō's eye widened "So it appears that killing you is no longer a convenience but a necessity." "Summoning Jutsu" A large orange Tapir like creature appeared in the clearing and began to inhale everything near it.

"Baku" Shisui said "Is a incredibly powerful summon that inhaled everything around it and Danzō can use it to amplify his wind based attacks. However it has one weakness." "Great Fireball Jutsu" The great beast was set ablaze by the massive fireball and poofed out of existence.

Danzō held his arm nervously 'He knows way too much I have to kill him soon. But what if he... no he couldn't possibly know about the Inuzagi as well could he?!'

Shikaku Nara was a very happy man, the simple reason being that his wife was happy, and a happy Yoshino was the Yoshino that let him laze around all day. Ironically that wasn't what he was doing on that specific day. Instead he was lounging about his lawn as he watched about eleven kids playing a singular game of risk. There were five teams of two and Ami had agreed to sit back and look out for cheating. Everyone else was sorted into groups of two Sakura and Ino were together and so were Choji and Shikamaru. Naruto and Hinata had paired up as well and so did Sasuke and Shino which of course left Kiba and Kidomaru. Which surprising everyone was doing incredibly well. Kidomaru was smart, not Nara smart but he was up there, and Kiba was unpredictable often causing general chaos in everyone's individual plans while also getting away with cheating on multiple occasions.

Shikaku laughed Ami hadn't noticed the cheating but to her defense she was still a civilian and she did catch about seventy five percent of her friends cheating attempts. Shikaku was also happy to see that Naruto had lightened up, when he had arrived he looked nervous about something but Shikaku has no clue as to what it might be and if anything bothered Shikaku more then anything it was an unsolvable mystery. But then again not everything was a puzzle that needed to be solved.

I was not having a very good day, ever since Saterday I've had a looming feeling of dread. If it was because of the incoming massacre or... no it was the massacre that was bothering him.

It was actually a relief that he wouldn't have to spend his day planning out the best way to destroy eyeballs to keep them from Danzō and mapping potential child escape routes. Itachi wanted everything perfect and I couldn't blame him. But having a day off has been a great stress reliever. Sadly the looming feeling of dread kept growing like something terrible was approaching.

Danzō sent a wave of wind towards Shisui who dodged it easily 'Why isn't he fighting back?' Danzō thought 'My chakra stores are high and I won't be running out any time soon. So what could he be stalling for?'

Shisui grinned "Izunagi"

Danzō stiffened

"Is a technique that allows it's user to cast an illusion on reality itself negating any damage the user recieves and even their own death." Danzō found that he was unable to move caught in one of Shisui's powerful Genjutsu. Shisui threw three shuriken at Danzō's forehead forcing him to use Izunagi to escape his death. "And to add insult to injury I killed you with shuriken." Shisui taunted.

Danzō growled "Damn you Shisui! You'll pay for this!" The old man shunshinned away from the clearing knowing that he would be unable to win a fight against the Uchiha even if his ROOT agents helped him.

Shisui considered going after him to finish the job but thought back on what Naruto had told him 'One small move could cause disaster, so change things responsibly.' He sighed the kid was right Shisui couldn't risk killing Danzō in the leaf village, not only would the other elders push the massacre even further for retribution, but it would cast further suspicion on the Uchiha if news ever got out which could push the coup to happen sooner. But all in all Shisui was still happy, he had prevented his eyes from being stolen and if everything goes as planned that old war hawk wouldn't be getting his hands on any more sharingan in the future.

Shisui took a kunai out of his pouch and held it up to his headband. "After fighting off Danzō I don't think I have a choice but to leave. I'll be killed if I stay, even if the Hokage vouches for me." A clear line was scratched through the leaf symbol as Shisui left the village. "Heh, looks like I beat you Itachi. I even became a missing nin first."

I let out a sigh of relief as that dreadful feeling finally went away. "I feel like something has finally gone just the way I wanted it too." I said.

"Really?" Kiba asked "Because me and Kidomaru just conquered a few of your villages."

"What No?!" I cried "When did that happen?!"

"Just now weren't you listening?" Kidomaru asked.

"No..." I admitted grumpily.
