Notes & Disclaimers:
• The Gang Stories/Secrets is my IP.
• This series was inspired by DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
• This is classified as a fanfiction because it has multiple pop-culture characters teaming up. Starting with the ones from Rio.
Hi everyone! Do I have something big to share with you guys once again.
Does anyone remember "The Gang Secrets: Heroes Unlimited"? That was one of the fanfictions I released in 2016 (my first year on FFN), about one special character of mine trying to assemble his own team of multiversal heroes. I also released a playlist based on it on YouTube. This story was something that felt fantastic for a while, but my attempts at publishing it didn't have the best results. It was not as popular or well written as I thought. But this time, this time for sure, I'm gonna try again and it will be better.
This will be different from how I originally planned it. For one thing, this will include more than just the "Heroes Unlimited" saga. This'll include way more, and hopefully become popular like how I want it to be.
So if you're interested, take a look at this start of what'll hopefully be one of my best fanfictions ever, and know that I may have some more messages to share at the bottom.
(Please leave a comment and enjoy!)
Heroes Unlimited Saga Episode I
Chapter One: The Starting Point Part 1
One day, as the sun was shining, the sky was clear, and everything appeared to be peaceful in a massive jungle area known as the Amazon Rainforest. There was no creature in sight or sound to be heard, until suddenly, a single streak went off and passed a few trees. A single pair of blue streaks. They zoomed through the jungle, moving almost as fast as the wind until it was revealed to be…birds.
Two blue macaws were flying through every empty piece of the earthy areas that they could pass and were not occupied. They had big smiles on their beaks, racing together, and feeling joyful, revealing to be Blu and Jewel, formerly known as the last blue macaws on Earth. They were racing together in the Amazon, away from their home tribe to spend time together again, as they normally would in their married life.
So they raced through for five minutes, and a few seconds later, Jewel soon spoke up to her husband, chuckling, "Whoa, Blu! Slow down, you're making it harder for me to catch up." Impressed by his speed and skill.
Blu replied in the same tone, "Sorry, Honey, I can't help it. Ever since we've moved here, I feel like I've been getting better and better with every technique to survive in the jungle. So I've been feeling like one heck of an experi-AHH!" He saw a group of vines and got caught in them. When he came into contact, he got tangled with them by his legs, wings, and belly before spiraling. He felt like a yoyo going down until he stopped, then saw himself upside down and his head was close to the surface of a tree branch. So he groaned in his head, "Not this again."
Then Jewel hovered over to him and giggled again. "But you obviously have much to learn, Mr. Wild Bird."
Blu chuckled back (without sarcasm), "Obviously. Uh, please give me a second, I think I can get myself out of thi-"
"No please, let me." Jewel said in a flirting tone. "Let's look here." She reached Blu's beak and kissed him. "Not there." Then she kissed his neck and shoulders. "Oops. Not there either." She giggled more, making Blu blush. Then she reached her beak upward to his upper belly…and cut the weakest vine around him.
Blu was free, and fell on the branch and said, "Ow."
"Sorry about that."
"No, no, it's okay. If it means getting kisses from you, then a little bump is always worth it." Blu took her wing to stand up, and blushed more seeing her eyes, and Jewel flirted with him more. "Aww, aren't you sweet?"
"Obviously not as much as you are."
"Hmm."
Blu and Jewel kissed and hugged each other tight, letting themselves be in the romantic moment, feeling joy and relief that nothing would bother them. Until something crossed Blu's mind. So he gently let his wife go and said, "Hey Jewel? Can I mention something…to you personally?"
"Of course. After all, we're still alone out here." Jewel continued flirting.
"Right." Blu chuckled. "Anyway…I just want to say thank you."
"Thank me for what? For wanting to come out here? Last I checked this was your idea."
"No, not that. Thank you for…for supporting me. Ever since we moved here, Jewel, things have gotten a lot better. Like a million times before, you've been so kind, helpful to me, respected my wishes more, and forgave me for the issue I caused when we first got here."
"Oh Blu, you don't have to say that. You've actually done a better job than me. For weeks now you've been adjusting to the jungle more than I thought you would have. Learning how to survive, how to like the food, and supporting your family so much. Though the way I see it, you've done a lot of good things for this family since the beginning. You're also so kind and honest, and that's why I love you."
"Thanks, Jewel. And well, to be fair, I wouldn't have done it without your help. Do you remember what happened at the Pit of Doom?"
"Yes, but Blu, I thought we were over that?"
"I know, I know. It's just that, until what happened there, I thought I made it clear I was not always honest with you. When we first arrived at the tribe, I was terrified of the idea of moving to the jungle and leaving my life of human things behind. But after a while, it made me realize that my biggest fear was losing you. I mentioned to you at the pit that I was afraid of losing you and the kids to Eduardo and Roberto. Something that I wish I had told you sooner and things would've been different. However, I try not to dwell on it. I just want to say that I'm happy I told the truth, and before and after that, you still did so much for me. You have always been kind, free-spirited, fearless, and never hesitated to protect me. Even though I should think more about doing the same for you. But that's why I love you so much, Jewel." Blu smiled and kissed her cheek. "I'm just sorry again I didn't tell you sooner."
"Blu, no. You don't have to apologize for anything. While I appreciate you saying it, I admit I should've been more sensitive with what was bothering you. If I listened and trusted you more, then things would have been easier."
"But you were only caught up with seeing your family again after so long. I can respect that, and you're my wife, I can't hold anything against you at all. Like that, or anything, period."
"Thank you, but either way, at least we forgave each other and Daddy. Even though I was tempted to teach him a lesson about lying to his daughter and hurting my son-in-law."
Blu chuckled, "Yep. But trust me, Jewel, forgiveness is one of the best ways to move forward in life. And that kind of love is the reason why we're all here together as a family now. So thank you, Jewel, for helping me make that happen."
"No…thank you." She gave him another quick kiss. "You Blu, are not just my one and only, you are one of a kind. You prove to always be so forgiving and nice. I used to think being tough and not relying on anyone was enough but since I've met you…you've shown me a better way. You don't know how thankful I am for that."
"No problem."
They hugged each other again, feeling blissful in their embrace, and hoped to spend more quality time together.
A few seconds later, they released the hug, and suddenly heard a small beeping going off.
"Hey…do you hear something?" Jewel asked.
Blu, "Yeah. What is that?"
They looked around, wondering what the sound was. Until Jewel saw a faintish blue light inside a bush. "Look." She pointed.
She and Blu approached the bush. Walking toward it and moving the leaves before seeing it was…"A toy box?" Blu questioned. It was a small metal box, almost shaped like a gold bar but silver, and on it was a dome on top of it glowing a blue light. On its side, facing the two birds, was a red button that said "Push."
Blu slowly approached it and carefully picked it up with one of my talons. "Whoa." He said.
"What is that, really?" Jewel asked.
"I don't know. But, ha, it looks like one of those old Star Wars toys I used to play with when I was a chick. It looks pretty new though."
"It's new to me without a doubt. What's that button for?" She pointed to the red button, and intended to push it. But Blu stopped her, saying, "Hang on. Let me put it down. We don't know what it is. Let me at least look around to make sure it isn't a trap."
"O…Okay." She thought that statement sounded paranoid of him but figured he would be right. So she left it alone as her husband looked around the bushes. Jewel still wanted to push the button, desiring to just tease him about it. But then she thought, "Nah. After that talk we had, I don't wanna ruin his trust. Hmm…I still can't believe it though. After everytime me or somebody else has been rude to him, he always tries to be kind and rational about it. Even now, he explained himself better about what bothered him and still he let it go. Something I should've noticed a long time ago. I'm just glad he forgave me a long time ago, and hopefully I'll show that kind of compassion to him more." She then sighed and whispered to herself, "Blu, you are always so gentle. And that's why I love you so much."
Once Blu stopped looking, he faced Jewel again and said, "Okay. I don't see any wires or anything else metallic around here, so if it's safe to push it, then let's try it."
"Great." Jewel smiled. She took his wing and slowly brought her left talon to the button. And as soon as she pushed it, a blinding blue light appeared out. "AAHH!" The two groaned, covering their eyes before the light was brought down a little, and when they looked, their faces changed to a shocked impression. For it was revealed to be a holographic panel with words that said, "This device contains a message for Blu, Jewel, Eduardo, and Roberto, and will not activate until the four and all their family and friends are assembled together. This is important for all of them. Signed G.E."
The two read it and Blu questioned, "A holographic projector?"
Then Jewel asked, "What does it mean, 'important message'? And who would want to send us something like this?"
"I think a better question would be how would they know we'd find it here? There isn't a sign of humans anywhere around this part and we've never been here before."
"Do you think it'll be worth showing to everyone?"
"If it really is an important message for us, then I say yes. Do you want to go back so soon though?"
"Hm. Yes. I don't like our alone time ending so soon but if we have to, then I'm okay."
"Alright." Blu smiled and kissed her back. Then he carried the box with his talons, and the two hovered their way back to the tribe, intending to share with everyone what they just found. Not knowing that it was going to reveal something beyond amazing.
COMP: Message sent to Recruits #1-4, successful.
More Notes & Disclaimers:
• "Blu and Jewel" and friends are Blue Sky IP.
• "at the pit": That's meant to be a hint for a vital detail in this story.
• "Star Wars": LucasFilms / Disney IP.
How's that for a real starting point? Now, when I first published this story, the description in some way might've been unclear, regarding what it was about. But now, this time will be different. For starters, as I said, my special character is assembling a team of heroes. So to grab more attention, I'm having the first chapters focus on the recruits, who are all characters that people are more familiar with. Not just Rio, but also…
Big Hero 6
Code Lyoko
Digimon
Hey Arnold
How Train Your Dragon
Kung Fu Panda
Pokemon
Sonic X
Sonic Underground
Spider-Man '02
Quite a crazy looking crossover, huh? I don't know how to successfully merge these characters together the way I plan to. Especially since I haven't seen some of these shows in a while, but hopefully I will do it right.
Also, for this chapter, I kind of intended on making Blu and Jewel have their conversation be different. However, this seemed a little considering one big "vital detail" that all the recruits have in common.
I had thoughts on turning this into a silent series like Amante Animation's "Duel of the Fates", but after the new ideas I thought of, I decided to go back to the original plan. And in case anyone's wondering, yes. I was thinking about Indepence Day when I wrote the new summary for this.
Now to discuss some more things:
To Crexis the Purple Macaw, if you're reading this, thank you for sending that comment to my "E-Media" short story. However, to answer your question, no I do not do roleplaying. Especially I chose to shut off Private Messages. Sorry. But thanks again for being one of the many readers to my stories.
Thank you also to Alexriolover95, and to others who read my fanfictions here and on DeviantArt. Speaking of which, sooner or later I will need to work on fixing the multiple stories I published on DeviantArt and Wattpad. I don't know how long that'll take but hopefully I can do it right. Oh! And be sure to check my new series on DeviantArt.
"C's Summary Collection."
Be sure to enjoy that and many others coming soon!
