Chapter 6. The Fool's Gold.

DATE: September 23 2005

TIME: Saturday Midnight.

In a small farm town in Texas, what seemed to be meteorites started crashing down into the cornfield, creating a large cloud of smoke. And when the smoke cleared, it revealed that they weren't meteorites at all. They were rockets that unscrewed and out came an entire class of aliens.

They had light brown fur with a dark pink tummy and muzzle, white hair around their heads which resembled a beard, a white tail, and yellow eyes. They are the size of an average human toddler and look like a cross between a rabbit and a goat.

The aliens walked over to see the entire population of the town cheering and welcoming them as an old woman walked in with a pie and a smile.

"Party!" One alien shouted as they all cheered and whooped.

TIME: Sunday 5am

Four days after the pyroxovores incident Kara then soon realized how much Ben needed a team and so she joined in and decided to settle for a week here on Bellwood but that's not all they soon received training with Batman on every weekend.

"I'm sorry, Grandpa." Ben said. "You want us to go where?"

"A little town called Walton in Texas." Max said. "Every seventeen years, college students land there to blow off steam for a week."

"Alien spring break?" Ben asked with a smirk. "Sounds pretty cool actually."

"Right." Verdona said to her grandson. "But this time, one of them has gone missing."

"And since we're busy seeing over the other Plumbers in this district, we need you six to go find them." Xylene said.

"You do know that you installed us as the leaders of the Earth Plumbers, right?" Ben asked.

"Yes, but you are the leader in the field. We oversee things here and watch over you and the other Plumbers." Max said.

"Let's get moving." Ben said as he walked off with Gwen and Kara as Ben looked to see Kevin leaning against a wall and clutching a locket in his metal hand.

"You okay?"

"It's nothing." Kevin said. "Let's just go."

The boys left the room, leaving Max and his two girlfriends standing there as Xylene sighed and crossed her arms.

"So, you think we should've told them about the Skunkians there too?"

"They're really friendly, Lene." Verdona said. "The only thing you have to get past is the smell."

"How many times have I told you not to call me Lene?"

"Ten. And I don't care."

TIME: Sunday 6:30 am.

Soon, the group drove Kevin's car into the small town of Texas.

"A little town in the middle of nowhere." Kevin sighed. "Why can't aliens go missing in any place is fun?"

"Tell me about it." Kara chuckled.

"This is farm country land." Gwen observed. "What are aliens even doing here? What's so special about this place?"

Kevin suddenly stepped on the brakes and they pulled over to see the "Welcome to Walton sign destroyed and a turned over tractor beside it.

"Hooligans." Kevin said, shaking his head.

"And from the looks of it, amateur hooligans." Kara stated as Ben then walked up to it, only for him to feel a pain in his foot.

"Ow!" He said. "I stubbed my toe."

"Hang on." Kevin said as he turned on his headlights and then shined down on some small metal nuggets. They looked like they were made of solid gold.

"You've got to be kidding me." Kevin said as they leaned down and noticed the nuggets. "They look like..."

"Poop." Kara said, gagging a little.

"Shiny poop." Gwen said as Ben and Kara looked on in disgust.

Kevin picked up one of the nuggets and sniffed it, not detecting any foul orders off of it whatsoever.

"Kevin, don't." Gwen said as Kevin lifted it to his mouth.

"It's okay. It looks like…" Suddenly the Osmosian blinked and grinned as he bit it. "Hey, it is gold. And it's real." Kevin analyzed.

"Solid gold poop." Ben said as he grinned in amusement.

"It leads all the way to town." Kara said as she turned to the others. "You thinking what I'm thinking, guys?"

"Cash in?" Kevin said.

"You sure?" Gwen asked.

"We're not stealing from anybody, Gwen." Ben said. "We're not hurting anybody to get this. We just happened to find it on the road."

"But we already make plenty of money from our jobs as Plumbers. Not to mention us having a trillion money in our bank accounts." Gwen said.

"True. But with this, we can have a major safety net once we sell this for cash " Kevin said. "Add these to the funds we have from our jobs and we'll be able to get anything we want to get for our headquarters and everything!"

"We'll be able to make our own rooms in the headquarters with that kind of money and still have plenty left over from it to build up," Kara said. "What do we have to lose by doing this?"

"Fine, I guess you're right this time," Gwen said. "Let's do it."

"Funny enough, it would only be useful to us here," Kevin said.

"What? Why?" Kara asked.

"Stuff like diamonds and gold only have monetary value on Earth. Other planets use them as building material, not currency." Kevin explained.

"Makes sense."

Gwen smiled as she levitated all the gold nuggets they passed in her telekinetic aura in a ball that looked to be medium sized as more and more golden nuggets levitated into the ball and she finally stopped once they got to where the buildings started in town.

"Okay, that's enough." Kevin said and the car screeched to a stop and he popped the trunk and Gwen lowered the golden nuggets into the machine and they smiled and closed the trunk on it.

"Okay, we collected our loot." Ben said. "But still, look at this place."

"I know, right?" Gwen said. "This is supposed to be farm country?"

"As a matter of fact. It's more like a big town now than a farm country, I would have known because Smallville is one." Kara told them.

The Omni-Team looked around at the tons of wealthy-looking buildings throughout Walton.

"Yeah." Kevin said. "These farmers must be rolling in-"

"Kevin." Gwen warned.

"I was gonna say dough."

That was when dozens of the aliens from the previous few days in Walton came out of all of the alleyways and charged, rocking Kevin's car while not noticing the red-furred skunk-like alien lurking in an alleyway, nervous as heck at the aliens rocked the car, Ben and Kara laughing at the thrill of it. Kevin was less than amused, however.

"Get your paws off my ride!" Kevin shouted.

Surprisingly, the aliens obeyed and dispersed, leaving and moving away.

That was when a bald man in a white suit walked out to see the Omni-Team as they exited the car.

"You didn't see any aliens." He said. "It was just swamp gas."

"Please. We're in Texas." Gwen said. "There can't be swamps for miles."

"Mass hysteria? Weather balloons? The apocalypse?"

"Save it." Kevin said, holding up his badge. "We're Plumbers."

"Well why didn't you say so? Welcome to Walton. Are you here for the popcorn festival?"

"Yeah, what's the deal with that anyway?" Ben asked.

"Why, only the best popcorn in the universe. These aliens can't get enough of the stuff. Every seventeen years, they come back. But where are my manners? I'm Mayor Coleman."

"Ben Tennyson. What can you tell us about the missing alien?"

"Missing alien? There's no missing alien. If there was a missing alien, he's probably just running around, eating popcorn and having fun."

"Okay. But we're still going to have to look around." Kara said.

"Be my guest." Coleman said, walking away. "But I'm afraid you're not gonna find anything."

Kara looks at the Mayor suspicious.

"Ben,we're gonna have to…." Gwen began, only to see Ben wander off. "Where'd he go?"

Ben wandered into an alleyway to see the aliens gouging down on entire barrels full of popcorn, impressed at the sight.

"I have had, like, so much popcorn." An alien said as two more lowered an entire barrel of it into his mouth as if it were a barrel of alcohol.

That was when another alien walked over to them and looked absolutely hammered on popcorn.

"Farmer Carlos filled his entire swimming pool with popcorn." He said, obviously drunk.

The aliens all cheered as the alien smiled.

"The pool's got a diving board. Come on, man." He said as the aliens all ran off and Ben followed them by using his Kineceleran form.

"So popcorn is basically their species' equivalent of booze." Kara said as Gwen sighed and bowed her head.

"...Yeah."

"I better go keep an eye on him," Kevin said as he ran off after Ben.

"Well, why are we here again?" Kara asked Gwen as she sighed.

"I got your answer for you." Said a voice and they turned around to see a red-furred Skunkian walking over with a lone alien who looked extremely nervous and the skunk alien held up her badge.

"And you are?" Gwen asked.

"My name is Daisy," the Skunkian told them. "I'm a young Skunkian field agent for the Plumbers."

"How old are you?"

"Actually, this is my first mission." Daisy said. "Since Magister Tennyson sent you guys to my home in Walton, Xylene and Verdona contacted me and told me to help you."

"There are Skunkians in Walton?" Kara asks as she had heard of these aliens before within the fortress of solitude and remembered that they are also known all over Krypton on not only have they been the 'Harmless' of races but also somehow the riches with their way of making their own fortune in the Galaxy.

"Well, under Walton. We live in a community in the sewers here and this town has a lot of chemicals, being in Texas and all," Daisy explained. "We eat all of them and produce a natural clean energy source that they also cash in on along with the gold."

"Oh, that's gross." Gwen gagged.

"For you humans, maybe. Not for us." Daisy chuckled before suddenly fangirling. "Now... where's your cousin? I've been waiting to meet him for a long time!"

"Why?"

"You'll find out soon."

"One more question." Gwen asked. "Why don't you smell foul right now?"

"I drink a lot of tomato juice so others can be around me." The Skunkian said. "Moving on to the mission."

"Um, were you guys sent by Max Tennyson?" The college alien asked.

"You're the one who called us for help?" Kara asked as Daisy moved beside Gwen and Kara.

"My name is Orb. My mom and dad told me that if I ever got into any trouble on Earth, I should call Max Tennyson."

"Great advice." Gwen chuckled. "Is the missing alien a friend of yours?"

"My best friend. His name is Decka." Orb explained. "One moment, we're stuffing our faces with popcorn, the next moment, he's gone. I'm worried sick."

"Do you have anything of his that my friend here could use to track him?" Gwen asked. "A piece of clothing or a piece of his fur maybe?"

"No. Nothing like that. I'm sorry" Orb sighed as Daisy looked on.

"It's okay, Orb." Daisy said. "We'll have to find your friend the old-fashioned way."

Orb looked on weirdly and Gwen sighed.

"She means we're gonna have to look for him."

Meanwhile at Farmer Carlos farm, the aliens were going crazy, partying and playing in the popcorn-filled swimming pool, wading through it in celebration as Kevin sighed as Ben ate some popcorn.

"I have been in the Null Void." Kevin said. "And I've seen a lot of crazy and messed up things."

"How does this rank?" Ben asked.

"It's not the weirdest thing I've ever seen, but it's up there." Kevin said.

"I don't know." Ben said. "For Spring Break, this whole thing seems a little laid back."

No sooner than Ben said that did the aliens start tossing debris from the pool area through the glass windows lining the house.

"Laid back, you say?" Kevin asked as Ben sighed.

"It could be worse." He said as he ate more popcorn.

"House tipping! Everyone jumped into the house!"

That was when the aliens all pushed and pushed on the house, lifting it from its foundation as Ben sighed.

"Why do I always say stuff like that?! It always comes back to bite me in the ass!" Ben shouted as he activated his Omnitrix and transformed into...

"-Spidermonkey!-" The Arachnichimp screeched.

Spidermonkey hooted and leaped up onto the house and webbed a ton of aliens to it as two more charged him, but he leaped off the house to avoid them.

Two more appeared and attempted to smash a lawn chair onto Spidermonkey's head, only for Kevin to grab it.

"Naughty, naughty."

Kevin then bopped the aliens' heads together, knocking them out.

"-Is that all of them?-" Spidermonkey asked his best friend.

Unbeknownst to our heroes, another group of them glared and started lifting the silo from its foundation and carried it over to them.

"-Hold on!-" Spidermonkey shouted as he shot a web at Kevin and dragged him out of the way of the silo as it crashed down next to them.

Spidermonkey break-danced on the ground and kicked tons of the aliens away into the swimming pool filled with popcorn.

"I think you guys need to get sober from this popcorn." He said.

Soon enough, the team had regrouped near the area, still in their suits as Kevin smirked.

"Busted on Spring Break. I've been there."

That was when Gwen and Kara walked in with Orb, Daisy and Coleman as Daisy's eyes widened upon Ben Tennyson instantly started fangirling before a very confused Hero.

"You kids have been busy." Coleman said with a whistle.

"What do you want to do with them?" Hero Core asked.

"Well, for starters, let 'em go."

"WHAT?!" The Omni-Team shouted in unison.

"Are you kidding me? Just look at what they did!" Ben shouted.

"Oh, the popcorn festival's only once every seventeen years. No one can press charges. It's just a little damage," Coleman said, rubbing an alien's head.

"'A little damage?'" Ben asked. "They destroyed the farm!"

"Boys will be boys." Coleman said as the aliens chattered and walked away. "Now don't forget to eat lots of popcorn!"

"That's it?!" Ben asked as they deactivated their suits. "They level an entire building and the only thing you tell them is 'eat lots of popcorn?!"

"Aw, don't worry your head, son. It's complicated." Coleman said.

"What's so complicated about it?" Gwen asked. "We've figured out the whole thing."

"You have, eh?" Daisy asked.

"Yep." Kara said. "The aliens eat popcorn and then they leave behind solid gold excrement, right? That's why this town has so much money."

"Okay, you got us. Every seventeen years, we make gallons and gallons of popcorn and then shovel up the gold they leave behind. Our entire economy's based on alien-"

"Poop!" Kevin coughed.

"That is wrong on so many levels." Kara said.

"Glad Julie didn't come along." Ben sighs. "Otherwise she'll be really sick right now."

"Nobody wants to be punishing the alien kids and the festival's almost over. They're going to be heading back to school first thing in the morning anyway."

"Not all of us." Orb said. "I'm not leaving until we find Decka."

"Decka? He probably went home already. Looking for him is a waste of time."

"All the same, we're going to take a look around." Ben said as he walked off.

"You're coming to my home in the sewers first." Daisy said. "I'm Daisy, by the way. You need to meet my Skunkian friends down there. You're their hero and they all wanted to be like you." This causes Ben to raise an eyebrow in confusion.

"Why?" Ben asked. "I mean, I know I'm a great hero with my friends, but why you guys specifically?"

"That's because you're the prophecy that has been foretold that you are." This caught everyone's attention.

"Prophecy?" Kara asked curiously as she crossed her arms. "What kind of prophecy?" And daisy flick at what she just blurted out.

"Eh oops, I shouldn't have said that." Daisy said. "Look, the point is, a great evil from the past will rise again and you, Ben Tennyson, are the legendary super Saiyan that will save the universe against him!" She exclaimed and her yellow eyes widened as she yet again told another secret and she instantly covered her mouth.

"Wait, what do you mean? The legendary super Saiyan?" Ben asked in shock on how this Skunkian was.

"I should shut up now to see what we have to show when we bring you home." Daisy pleaded. "But all I can say is that you'll see soon enough."

"I'll go with them while you girls search somewhere else." Kara notices that He had been avoiding Gwen so she stops him.

"Not so fast." Kara said, giving a leer to Kevin as he sighed.

"Kevin, have you been avoiding me?" Gwen asked.

"No. I just love hanging out with your cousin." Shrugged Kevin as he lied.

He walked off with Ben to the nearest sewer grate as Daisy led them.

"That's the second time you've ditched her today." Ben said. "Are you guys fighting?"

"If we were, would I talk about it with you?" Kevin asked as Ben crossed his arms.

"Look, she's my cousin Kev and if you hurt her, I'll hurt but seriously bro if you're gonna tell her something then just man out about it." Ben blurted which stunned him.

"Look, I know it's no one's fault that my equipment malfunctioned from hacking the omnitrix a few days ago but the feedback of the watch did to me and I can't go back." Ben soon realizes what he's Best Friend talking about and it was the time he tried to access master control but even with Kara being there for him to ease his ego a little for him to stop making some wrong decisions and ignored Azmuth's words however that didn't help the outcome of the event that happened later since the Machine malfunction anyways and cause the watch to release an energy feedback that not only release some of his transformation but also mutated Kevin and from his point of view Kevin's anxious about his condition towards Gwen in seeing him as a monster again Ben sighed at this and put a comforting hand on his friend's shoulder.

"Look Kev, I know what you're feeling about you losing control with your own powers in some way that would made Gwen scared of you but let's be honest she'll probably try and do whatever it takes to save you and brought you back to the way you are and doesn't even care on what you like." Ben told him which stunned the Hybrid Osmosian more.

"I mean, wow Ben when did you get wiser?" Kevin asked and Ben grinned at him and shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know maybe when I got drunk and married in Vegas a few days back and now I have to man up and take responsibility towards my wives." Ben said, walking past his best friend who's looking at him more stunned and impressed at his maturity.

'Damn, Tennyson I guess marriage really did you good after all.' Kevin thought impressed and amuse before he looked at the Locket at his metal hand and he sighed.

While our heroes were out investigating, Mayor Coleman walked back to his home and looked to the farmhouse nearby and double-checked to make sure no one was looking at him before he bolted back and walked in, shining a flashlight to illuminate the dark farmhouse.

He shined the light on a dog cage that held another one of the aliens, who was obviously Decka, golden nuggets surrounding the cage.

"Your friends are causing trouble. They keep asking about you." Coleman told a scared Decka.

"Please." Decka begged. "Please let me go."

"You're not going anywhere. Not until you get me a huge pile of gold."

"But I'm doing it! I've been doing it all week!"

"That little tiny bit of gold ain't gonna be enough to pay off my debts! I've been waiting seventeen years for your kind to come back and now, I'm cashing in."

Coleman began shoveling more popcorn inside the cave and Decka groaned.

"I- I can't eat anymore!"

"Then maybe I'll just keep you in that there cage forever!" Coleman said, rattling the cage.

Decka whimpered as Coleman held up a raw steak.

"Maybe a change in diet will help your appetite."

A very scared Decka took the steak into the cage as Coleman watched.

TIME: Sunday 5:30 Pm.

Meanwhile, Ben and Kevin walked over to the sewer grate that Daisy led them to and opened it up and revealed a passageway under the sewers.

"Follow me," Daisy said as she leaped down into the sewers.

"An entire community of skunk aliens," Kevin said. "That's something I thought I'd never see."

The heroes followed Daisy down the grate and followed her for a bit until they ended up at a huge opening in the clearing and soon, they saw tons of Skunkians of various colors and sizes smiling and tending to the flowers nearby as well as feeding on chemicals that were excluded from the pipes surrounding the area as Ben whistled with a smile as Daisy gave out a holler, catching the others attention.

"Hey everyone, I give you the great Ben Tennyson!"

The young and teenage Skunkians all started cheering and squealing, fanboying and fangirling over Ben, surrounding him with pads of paper and started talking over to each other.

"It's him, the Great Ben Ten!"

"He finally comes!"

The Skunians surrounded Ben. "Can you please transform into Stinkfly!" Said one of the Skunians.

"Wait." Ben said, uncomfortably signing autographs from the notepads pushed at her by the countless Skunkians as Daisy smiled and a young, surprisingly sweet-smelling Skunkian hugged Ben's leg and smiled. "Are you really the one who fought Lord Beerus?!" Exclaimed the young Skunkian.

"Okay, okay hold on a second what are you guys talking about?" Ben asked as he knelt.to their level.

"Do you remember your heritage from your mother?" Daisy asked him.

"Yeah." Ben said. "What about it?"

"That witch Fortuneteller Baba, had foretold us all and everyone in the Galaxy that the hero who saved the universe in the past generation and had both fought against and trained under the God of Destruction that saved the universe has been reborn and is preparing for the arrival of the great evil. And the only way for you to achieve that is by gathering the seven legendary orbs to pursue your training over the master of KI!" Exclaimed Daisy as she explained which stunned him more.

"Wait, how did you know about my secret heritage?" Ben asked.

"Wait, hold on master of KI as in Life energy like Mana?" Kevin asked in awe.

"Actually, Mana might be life energy but that one is only focus within the magical way. While KI is mostly used as pure and dark energy projectiles and that's the way of the KI has been long forgotten now but it is still amongst all life within the universe." A Skunkian explained both awing them.

"Wow, I never knew about that but what does that have to do with me?" Ben asked.

"Everything, you're half son after all and the Son family has been known as the great generations of heroes from the legendary Goku who's one of the last Surviving Saiyan who lived here on earth and dedicated his entire life to protect it from evil and when you have obtained the most powerful device in the universe an dudes it to live under your Great Great Great Grandfather's morals as a Hero." Daisy told him. "Word spread throughout the universe after you stopped the Highbreeds from destroying all of life and challenging Vilgax the conqueror, a lot of the Skunkians started worshiping you. Why do you think I became a Plumber?"

"That... actually makes a lot of sense," Kevin said. "So, how does it feel to have worshippers?"

"Weird," Ben said. "But good at the same time. And I already have a lot of worshippers. We all do." He turned to the Skunkians and gave them a friendly smile. "Okay, I have to go now. We need to go save the day again."

"That's okay." Another Skunkian said. "But if it's in Walton, you could use our help at a point."

"We're just trying to find a missing alien kid," Kevin said. "Nothing serious."

"Still." Daisy said as she handed the twins a card. "If you need my friends' help, you just have to call."

"Done." Ben agreed but before they went Daisy called out to him.

"But wait Ben before you go!" Ben stops and glances at them and sees a Skunkian tossed something to him which he spotted to some kind of orange ball and caught it. "That's one of the seven orbs you need to collect for your to continue your training in the future to show your mother that she'll definitely know what that four star ball is and what you need to do about it!"

"Thanks I guess!" And that ladies and gentlemen Ben now has a Dragon ball and he put it in his pocket and he and Kevin walked away back to the surface.

TIME: Sunday 7:00 Pm

That night after regrouping, the team gathered around to see a group of very tired and hungover college aliens walking back through the cornfield to their rockets as Gwen looked to Orb.

"What's going on?"

"The festival's over. It's time to head back to school."

Kevin looked sadly at the locket in his hand and shrugged as everyone looked skyward to see the rockets flying off into the atmosphere until only two remained.

"This has been the worst Popcorn Festival ever."

"Maybe Mayor Coleman was right." Gwen suggested. "Maybe your friend went home already?"

"Without telling anybody? That's not like Decka."

"Hang on." Ben said, walking forwards with Gwen noticing the two spaceships. "Two space ships left. One of them is obviously yours, Orb. The other one must be Decka's."

"He's still here!" Orb exclaimed.

"And we have something to track him with." Gwen said as her eyes glowed pink.

"Which ship is yours?" Kara asked.

Orb pointed to one ship and Gwen laid her hand on the other ship and focused before picking up on the mana signature.

"Got him."

"Let's get to work." Daisy said.

"About time."

The team walked up to the mayor's house and saw the wrecked farmhouse and Gwen lit up the area with a mana ball before noticing the destroyed cage and the scattered gold.

"I don't suppose Decka was in there?"

"This is the mayor's barn." Gwen said. "Let's find him and ask him."

"Won't be a problem finding him." Kevin said. "I see you hiding back there. Come on out before I have to hurt-"

The threat went unfinished as Coleman blasted at them with his laser blaster and they all ducked behind Gwen's forcefield as Kevin groaned.

"You see? This is why everyone hates politicians!"

"I agree with that." Kara said as Ben activated his Omnitrix and transformed into...

"-Goop!-" Ben shouted as Daisy clouded the area up with a stink cloud as Gwen blasted out with a mana blast along with that Coleman dodged as Goop tripped him up by hovering underneath him.

Kara shot a Heat Vision at Coleman's blaster that flew under his hand. He tried to get it only for Kevin to crush it under his foot as Kara grabbed him from behind by a headlock.

Ben transformed back and held back a snarling Orb.

"Where is Decka? What did you do to him?!"

"I don't know how long we can keep him off you," Ben said. "You'd better start talking."

"Okay, I snatched him!"

"You got greedy, huh? Decided to make your own personal gold maker." Kevin nodded before chuckling. "Make. I'm funny."

"I don't get it." Gwen said.

"You know, like 'make' a number two?"

"Will you cut that out?!" Kara shouted as she grip her headlock on the Mayor who struggled from her arms but she was ignored.

"Really, man? That was the whole joke?" Gwen asked.

"Uh-oh." Orb said, picking up the remnants of the steak from the cage. "Did you feed him meat? Please tell me you didn't give him meat!"

"Why?" Ben asked. "What's wrong with meat?"

"For our species, eating meat is bad!"

"Okay, how bad are we talking here?" Kara asked as she let the Mayor breath before pinning him down with her foot only to see a large feral version of the aliens outside with red fur, blacker skin and was huge and muscular, roaring at the team.

"Okay, gone completely feral bad. Got it." Gwen said, turning into Lucky girl with a push of a button.

Decka began demolishing the farmhouse as Kevin Formed a Mace with his rock arm and a Hammer with his Metal arm followed by Lucky Girl blasted him with magenta fire and Supergirl shot him with heat vision which only made him angrier as he munched on the roof.

"Okay." Ben said as he looked at Kara "You ready?"

"Yep." Ben then slammed the core down and transformed into...

"-Big Chill!-"

"Don't hurt him!" Orb begged. "He's still my best friend."

"We'll try," Lucky Girl said.

"They'll try." Kevin said, slamming his fists together. "I'm not promising anything!"

Big Chill dodged Decka's swipes and then phased through him, freezing him solid from head to toe. But this didn't do much as he burst out with his immense strength.

"Hold oo!" Kara said to Daisy as she grabbed the red Skunkian's tail, surprising her.

"What are you doing?"

"Just trust me." Kara said as she lifted her tail up, letting loose a spray of noxious fumes that she ignited with her low powered Heat vision that created a stream of massive flames that sent Decka crashing down.

"Wow." Daisy said. "Great planning."

"I always wanted to do that." Supergirl chuckled before she was swept aside with her husband into the barnyard that Decka then smashed to pieces as Lucky Girl shielded them as she turned to Daisy.

"Call your friends for us, please?" Gwen asked.

"Sure." Daisy said, whipping out her phone.

"Ben! Kara!" Lucky Girl shouted as Big Chill and Supergirl removed the rubble from off of them.

"-Ow.-" Big Chill said. "-Remind me to go intangible next time, okay Hon?-"

"Duly noted." Supergirl said.

"This is all because your friend ate one bad piece of meat?" Kevin asked Orb.

"My people can't eat meat or we revert into our primal form. A mindless monster."

"Can we change him back?" Gwen asked.

"Don't have to. He'll only stay in that form as long as he keeps eating."

"-So... good news.-" Big Chill said.

"Okay, Orb. Give us some more details." Kara said.

"The thing is, this form is only the beginning. He's going to consume all the meat he can find. Then, once he's enriched enough fissionable material, he's going to reproduce!"

"Meaning?" Gwen asked, raising an eyebrow.

"He's going to split into 100 identical copies! Then, they'll go off and eat everything they can find!"

"-Um... how many times can he do that?-" Big Chill asked.

"Have you ever wondered what happened to Mars? It used to be called the Popcorn Planet before the Martians settled there."

"Oh no." Lucky Girl said. "We gotta go!"

They all set off to run before Orb called out to them.

"Careful! One wrong step and it could be your last!"

"What? Don't step on the gold?" Matter Girl asked.

"Gold is what happens when we eat popcorn. In that form, his waste is Uranium-1412."

"Unstable radioactive poop?!" Kevin asked in disbelief and disgusted.

"Yes. So whatever you do, don't step on the uranium!"

Everyone set off to run or flew in Big chill and Supergirl's case, only Kevin accidentally stepped in the uranium and was blown sky high before falling into another uranium pile and again and again until Lucky Girl caught him in her mana grip as they approached him.

"Are you hurt?"

"No, Gwen. I like being blown up!"

Lucky Girl deactivated her grip and Orb ran up to Kevin as he crashed and the others ran up.

They heard a roar and saw Decka at the power plant nearby.

"I thought he was going to look for meat. What's he doing at the power plant?" Kara asked.

"That's the main food supply for our community!" Daisy said. "What? Chemicals are a substantial part of a Skunkian's diet."

"She's right about that, and oooh man that's also bad," Orb said.

Decka approached the power plant and started absorbing the energy from it.

"He's absorbing the power! Once he's got enough energy, he's going to divide!"

"I've got an idea." Kara said as she flew up to the generators on the power plant's roof and froze them with her ice breath, stopping them in their tracks and shutting them down.

This didn't stop Decka, however, as he began eating the power plant itself.

"-Well, we cut off the power, but it's still hungry. Now what do we do?-" Big chill asked.

"Get me close enough to talk to him. Maybe I can reason with him."

"Bad idea, written all over it." Kara sighed before levitating next to Big Chill as Lucky Girl created several mana platforms beneath Orb as he ran up to Decka.

"Decka, it's me, Orb! I know you're in there. This isn't you. The meat has poisoned your mind. I know my best friend is inside fighting to take control. Please fight it. Fight it and we can go home!"

Decka ignored this and grabbed Orb and brought him closer to his mouth.

"Hey!"

Supergirl then came in and slammed Decka's fist with her own fist and caused him to drop Orb before Lucky Girl caught him and a bunch of explosive arrows pelted him in the back.

"Any other ideas?" Kevin asked, dodging a blow from Decka with a somersault as he formed his stone and metal arms into a Giant hammer and mace again.

"Yes. Evacuate the planet."

"Not an option, but Your species isn't supposed to eat meat." Kara said. "What else can't you eat?"

"Uh, some heavy metals, lanthanides, fluorine, silicon, chicken nuggets-"

"-Wait!-" Big Chill gasped. "-What was that about silicon?-"

"Silicon? It's poisonous."

"-Okay.-" Big chill said as he prepared his hand. "-Whatever happens, stay back everyone.-"

"Ben, what are you planning?" Kara asked her husband.

"-Trust me you'll be glad that I didn't answer that.-" Big chill told her as he slammed the core and transformed into...

"-Echo Echo!-" He shouted before dividing several times and gave several sonic screams to Decka, just before a massive cloud of toxic fumes appeared and everyone looked to see the Skunkians from under Walton show up, generating the fumes on the roof of the power plant.

"That's it, everyone!" Daisy said. "Keep it up!"

Decka roared as he scooped up some of the Echo Echos.

"-Come on! Bite us!-" The Echo Echos all shouted before they were instantly gobbled up.

"Oh no!" Kara exclaimed in horrify.

"-Bite me! Bite me! Bite me!-"

Decka kept on eating and eating the hundreds of Echo Echos.

Decka then got a horrified look on his face and passed out as the Echo Echos continued crawling into his mouth.

"-Almost there!-"

Decka then gagged and gagged before vomiting every one of the clones up into a big pile and he passed out again, unconscious as the Echo Echos transformed back into Ben dripping with puke.

"Okay, that is officially the new grossest thing I've ever done." Ben groaned, shaking herself off.

"So grody!" Kara groaned along with everyone else.

They looked as Decka reverted back to his original form and Orb jumped for joy and helped him up.

Everyone regrouped in Walton along with Daisy, who held the tied-up Mayor Coleman and saw a very pissed-off looking Decka standing with Orb.

"This mission went swimmingly and we have a new friend." Ben said as she shook hands with Daisy.

"If you ever need anything, all you need to do is call me. I'll be there." She said, smiling.

"You're going to be fine." Orb told Decka.

"We are so sorry that this happened, Decka." Kara said.

"Trust us, we're going to make sure the mayor is punished." Kara said.

"Your whole worthless planet should be punished!" Decka shouted as Gwen glared at him.

"Listen up, I know what happened to you was really bad. But you can't blame all humans for the actions of one! That's just disgusting!"

"Whatever. Come on, Orb." Decka said as he and Orb went to their rockets and he glared at the Earthlings. "I am telling everyone. We are never coming back to this dump again!"

Mayor Coleman looked down in shame as the aliens rocketed back to their home planet and Daisy took the Mayor to the Plumber's car and sent him off.

"Let's go, guys." Ben said as he hopped in Kevin's car. "We've got to go cash all that gold poop we collected on the way here to help update the headquarters."

"We'll be able to get anything we want with all that money plus our Plumbers' funds!" Kara said as she was gonna surprise Ben that she joined the Plumbers now and once she graduated Smallville highschool academy she'll move in here on Bellwood while waiting for Ben and Julie to graduate High School. "I want a pool table!"

"I want to see if we can get all that high-tech stuff from that deluxe RV from five years ago!" Ben said as he was tackled on the backseat of Kevin's and snogged him.

"You okay." Gwen asked while ignoring the husband and wife make out session.

"Here." Kevin said, handing Gwen the locket from before. "This is from..."

Gwen opened the locket and saw the picture inside.

"That day at the pier."

"I wanted you to have something to remember me. The way I used to be."

"Kevin, you know I don't care what you look like. I'm not a shallow whore like some girls." Gwen reassured him.

"Maybe you don't. But I do."

Kara honked Kevin's horn and he looked.

"Come on, guys!" She said. "I just called Julie and The jeweler awaits! We need to get our money from this trip!"

Kevin walked over to his car and Gwen sighed, looking at the locket and she clutched it to her heart.

"By the way guys, don't forget we are leaving for Gotham for training with the bats!" Kara called out and all looked on nervously on the training they have to endure Tomorrow.
