Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Shadow Clovers. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Totally spies, Vincent, David Michel and a few others do.
Getting 'WOOHPED' didn't even bother the girls anymore, it was literally second nature to them.
Jerry got straight to the point of showing them the footage. Sam, Clover and Alex watched the armor-clad warrior fighting the armed soldiers as he explained.
"This is footage from a dock last night, there are 2 here, but there is always 6 of them… as you can see." The girls cringed as the footage showed the hooded figure roundhouse kicking someone hard enough to shatter his helmet.
"So, their high-tech ninjas?" Alex asked, Jerry shook his head.
"Not really, their a group of anti-terrorist teenagers… similar to yourselves, I believe?" Sam looked at the hologram as it dissolved into a group of 6.
The hooded figure, the bow wielding warrior, a very bulky samurai like red warrior with a giant hammer, a petite girl who seemed to be wearing a motorcycle like armor with pistol like weapons on her hips, heeled boots and a 'Z' on her back.
Another one with dark blue armor who had a sword across her back with armor similar to a cat burglar and clawed gauntlets... and a warrior with a sniper with armor similar to a soldier's kit and a spear in their hands…. Along with dark maroon armor.
"Their leader is the hooded figure you see. He's known as 'Umbra'." Jerry put in as Clover rolled her eyes.
"What kind of name is 'Umbra?'" Sam turned to her friend and sighed.
"Umbra is Latin for shadow, Clover." Sam deadpanned while Jerry nodded.
"Umbra has led the group against an organization called 'CCC': Cyber Centurion Corporations... actually a company that moved to Beverly Hills last year." Clover raised an eyebrow as Sam spoke up.
"So where do we come in?" She asked and got a chuckle from the commander of WOOPH.
"The group is fighting a terrorist cell. They've been at it for 10 years marking today… and recently, they've come to Beverly Hills. Clover, I believe you already know Umbra." Jerry showed footage which made Clover's eyes widen.
On the screen was a black-haired boy around the girl's age who wore a black hoodie along with blue jeans. His dark red eyes contrasted with everything else. He looked fairly nerdy, not with glasses or acne, but the sheer fact that his hair was slightly kept, he didn't wear super bad boy clothes.
"Umbra is RAY!?" Clover yelled before Jerry winced and nodded.
"The very same one who has been helping you fix your phone… and laptop and such? yes, that is the same one throwing grown men around in high tech armor he's built himself and the group." Jerry watched Alex and Sam turn to their friend in amusement before Jerry spoke up.
"We believe their going to hit another shipment aboard a cargo plane entering the area… since you girls are so used to handling things… I'd like for you to bring in Umbra and Shadow Squad as their called by CCC… Their heist is going to get them killed, seeing as CCC is employing enough security to handle a small army." He stated, knowing the terrorist group was far more willing to deploy force if needed.
"So, we're going after a group of super ninjas in high tech armor, who are trying to destroy a cargo jet… backed up by more jets… manned by terrorists that only we and they know are terrorists?" Clover stated as Jerry nodded.
"Yes." Jerry said it as if it was like finding a needle… which it would be, but the girls were well aware the soldiers aboard would try and kill them.
Not capture them for some insidious trap, not leave them to be test subjects, they'd be executed and that would be it.
"Are they going to kill the CCC guys?" Alex got a head shake from Jerry.
"They don't kill as far as ive noticed, their make someone eat through a straw, but the only time they've killed is when they were scuttling a ship that had CCC cargo aboard… Umbra won't try to kill you, but I do wish to warn you he is skilled enough to outmatch you in a fight… they all are to a degree, their suits make up for any physical differences their bodies have…" Jerry stated.
(Power Station)
Umbra continued to slowly drain power from the transformer while transferring the solar power from the generator next to him into it.
"No, I had to make these things are overcomplicated as possible…. Let's go." Umbra ripped his arm from the station before backflipping onto a ledge and activating the suit's rocket thrusters.
The armored vigilante vanished into the sky, unaware of what tonight would bring him.
"CCC dies with Mantis tonight." He rocketed off into the sky, set to meet up with the others.
Tonight, would be a dance with death for everyone.

Phew, another chapter done! I want to point out that Ray doesn't know Clover is a spy and he's not a super unstoppable warrior… he's a skilled fighter and such, not the best at leading and planning things out so much yet. next chapter will be in a week and will show Shadow Squad meeting the spies and introducing a villain.
