Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Shadow Clovers. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Totally spies, Vincent, David Michel and a few others do.
Jerry was very aware that Ray not only had ZERO idea about WOOHP. Ray from what he knew? He didn't like to stop planning.
"Amy, do you ever take a break?" Ray asked while making a circle around a messy table.
"Well, considering you asked me to handle hunting CCC?" Amy asked as she ran her fingers over the table. "Yeah, but it takes coffee. A LOT of coffee." Amy added before looking over her phone.
"I'm not even going to ask, Ames." Ray stated before he placed his hands on the table. "So? What do you have?" Ray asked as Jerry decided to listen in.
(Unknown Location)
CCC was very quaint for a terrorist military organization that planned to take the entire planet over. Mantis prided himself on being welcoming to people in his organization.
"Backlash? Would you like to explain how once again how you lost an entire shipment of fuel and weapons?" Mantis asked over the monitor as he glowered at the woman. "I sent you to assure this DIDN'T occur." Mantis added in a tone reminiscent of a growl.
The man's nickname came from the insect like helmet on his head. His body was cloaked in shadow, nobody knew what the leader of the group was like.
"Sir, that brat and his friends blindsided me." Backlash stated before she crossed her arms over her waist. "And they've had backup." Backlash said as Mantis raised an eyebrow.
"Reinforcements?" Mantis questioned as he let out a hum and nodded. "Fair enough. We're move forward with plan B. I'm sending reinforcements to Beverly Hills." Mantis stated while his eyes turned from red to black.
"Find this 'Shadow Squadron', and rip them apart. They've been damaging our progress for years." Mantis order before his screen flickered only slightly. "I'm sick of them." Mantis added as his screen went dark.
Mantis was sick of losing to Shadow Squadron. They were teenagers when he first 'met' them. He wanted them in CCC, they were a group who could boost the group to new heights.
They were becoming annoying. This thorn needed to be clipped.
"Prepare the chopper." Mantis ordered to the soldiers around him. "I need to have to talk with Crosshair." Mantis ordered as he sighed.
(With Ray)
Ray looked over battle plans and hummed. He was almost thrown off when Lucas snuck up on him.
"You're going to give me a heart attack." Ray said while he leaned against the table. "What's up, Luke?" Ray asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Nothing much," Lucas said. He crossed his arms over his chest. "I'm just curious why you didn't tell us about your super spy friend we've never heard about once." Lucas stated as Ray sighed and rubbed at his eyes.
"Seriously?" Ray asked with a raised eyebrow. "Lucas? That's… That…" Ray struggled to say before he turned away from his friend.
"Me and Clove are complicated, ok?" Ray asked his friend before starting to look over the papers again. "I didn't think I'd see her again moving down to Beverly Hills." Ray said while he leaned on the table.
"She seems a very tough as nails girl." Lucas said as he noticed Ray smirking. "What, she's always been a valley girl?" Lucas questioned while Ray chuckled and rubbed at his eyes.
"No. She was a bit of a nerd when we were kids, Luc." Ray stated and turned to look as his friend. "Clove would break you in half if you ticked her off, but she was a geek like me. One of the first friends I made." Ray said before smiled and waved his hands through the hair.
It was shocking to have met Clover in Beverly Hill. He didn't once expect to meet her here. Then again? Clover was always surprising; she could always catch him off guard.
"I'll go and talk to the others and tell them about what we're doing." Lucas stated and watched Ray nod before waving him off.
"Go and do what you got to do, Lucas." Ray said and cracked his neck and arms. "I'll be here when you guys need me." Ray stated with a yawn.
It was tiring. Ray felt like going to bed back at his home, he could allow the others to put the plan together. His friends would always be able to put something into action.
"Ray. You look tired." Lucas asked as he looked at his friend and noticed he looked ready to drop. "You good?" Lucas questioned his friend who let out a yawn once more.
"I'm going to head home, Luke." Ray stated before slowly trudging forward. "I'll let you guys handle the plan. I'll be in touch if you need me." Ray said while he stretched out and left for the door.
"Tell Clove I said hi." Lucas said, only to get a glare from his friend.
Author Notes
Phew, another chapter done! I want to point out that Clover and Ray are going to train soon. Next chapter will be in a 1-2 weeks or so and will end up showing Ray speaking to Jerry, learning about the Totally Spies. It will also show Ray and a flashback between Ray and Clover as children. Until then, Lighting Wolf out, peace!
P.S: Next story might be about Sam.
