Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Shadow Clovers. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Totally spies, Vincent, David Michel and a few others do.
Ray sat next to Clover while Shadow Squad and the other spies were briefed.
"I'm glad you could finally join us." Jerry said in the jovial voice one would make while knowing what the other did.
"Sorry, we had some business to tie up." Luke stated to which Ray glared at his friend.
"He means we had to deal with a CCC operation." Ray said while letting out a sigh of annoyance. "Those guys have been hopping up all over Beverly Hills since they've moved here." Ray muttered to himself.
"Yes, well they've certainly planted roots here." Jerry said while looking at the footage. "My, they have been busy with all this weapon trading and secret kidnappings…" Jerry stated while Ray hummed and nodded with anger in his face.
"Yes, they've been like that for years." Ray put in while letting out a sigh and hummed. "We've pretty much been the reason they've had to go underground all this time." Ray added while Luke nodded.
"I'm well aware of that." Jerry stated while Ray looked at Clover who looked at him with amusement. "I want to point out that we were hunting them behind the scenes." Jerry added while Ray looked at Jerry and raised an eyebrow.
"You've been trying to hunt their entire group?" Ray questioned while Jerry nodded.
"Considering your transfer to Beverly Hills was followed by a raid at a CCC controlled port?" Jerry asked Ray who sighed. "What did you want me to do? Ignore your masterful performance?" Jerry questioned Ray.
"Fair enough, sir." Ray put in before cracking his neck. "But what's the game plan against CCC? They've never been people to really… Come out into the open. " Ray added while Clover hummed.
"So, this entire terrorist group has been busy and you DIDN'T tell us about them?" Clover asked as Ray turned to her.
"I really don't want to point out the elephant in the room, Clove?" Ray asked his friend before rubbing at his temples. "But CCC is kind of good at making sure people don't find them… That's why Amy has to keep checking for them. Then me and the others go out and fight them." Ray stated before taking a breath and continuing his speech.
"If CCC was that easy to hunt without a spy network or something? The Cops would have arrested them far before this happened." Ray finished before Clover hummed and nodded.
"Well should I point out that you could have told us more about CCC?" Clover questioned and turned away.
"I really don't know when I could do something like that," Ray put in. Jerry decided to speak up after this and get everyone back on track.
"CCC has recently tried to kidnap a very important dignitary." Jerry added to which Ray perked up at this.
"They tried to kidnap a dignitary?" Amy asked Ray hummed and blinked.
"Considering CCC was driven off?" Jerry asked Ray who simply narrowed his eyes. "I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't know about it. The European government has been trying to keep it quiet so nobody panicked." Jerry added while Ray cleared his throat.
"What exactly do you need us to do?" Ray questioned the director of WOOPH who turned and looked at the gathered team.
"I want you to find out why and stop them." Jerry said to the assembled group. "They haven't really left the continent and we're sure their strike again." Jerry added to which Ray stood up and walked to the table.
"If CCC is there, sir?" Ray asked Jerry while looking at the footage. "Their going to fight dirty. They will take hostages, they will try and cover their tracks… Trust me, CCC isn't going to play lightly, they never let us win without fighting dirty." Ray said before Luke hummed.
"He has a point, the last time they were willing to scuttle a battleship of threes we got aboard." Luke added while clearing his throat. "You can find the remains of that rust bucket at the bottom of the ocean. I don't think they even sent a recovery team to try and find that ship again." Luke put in as Ray turned to his friend.
"Yeah, if CCC is in Europe? They're not going down without a fight." Ray stated before he turned and went to go and find his suit.
"So, your saying we should fight dirty as well?" Sam asked Ray while he hummed. "I don't know how that will help." Sam put forward.
"To be fair?" Ray questioned as he turned to look at Sam and cracked his neck. "I don't really want to say anything. We've fought CCC for a bit… I don't know how they'd respond to you guys… I entirely don't know how their respond to Clover considering she would rip your eyes out. Man, I remember things I don't think I should be remembering." Ray added as Clover hummed with amusement.

Phew, another chapter done! I want to point out that Ray and Clover will be bonding soon. I want to point out as well that next chapter which is next week will be 900 words. Next chapter will also show Ray and Clover bonding more on the way to Europe. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
