Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Shadow Clovers. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Totally spies, Vincent, David Michel and a few others do.

Clover and Umbra looked at the horizon. He looked around at the harbor.

"Why are we here?" Shade asked, her armor scanning the horizon. "What is the purpose of us extracting them from here?" Shade questioned before Umbra turned to look at her.

"The harbors are the best area." Umbra put in while crossing his armored hands. "There's nowhere for snipers to go. Plus, I doubt that CCC would send a gunship or such. They wouldn't want to publicly assassinate someone. It'd cause a national incident." Umbra added and cracked his neck.

Umbra looked around the piers. His armor started to scan things. He was well aware of how dangerous CCC was.

They wouldn't send a specialist though to kill someone small. Umbra had fought deal with specialists with his friends. They didn't screw around.

"I wonder if CCC had recovered from that convoy that we had ripped through." Shade put in as Clover rolled her eyes.

"Guys?" Clover asked as the two armored heroes looked at her. "I love gossip? But we kinda have a job to do anyway." Clover stated to the duo and got a nod.

"Sorry, Clove." Umbra said before activating his armor's communication system. "Oni? You ok? We're busy waiting for you." Umbra asked his friend and cracked his armored fingers.

Clover could hear the whine of servomotors as the armor rebooted. Umbra looked at Clover and crossed his arms once more.

"Not much yet." Oni started to said before letting out a mechanical sigh. "We've seen a few cargo ships. I doubt that there's much going on right now. There's nothing really out here besides the ocean." Oni added while Umbra hummed.

"Just because we don't see anything?" Umbra asked his comrade. "Doesn't mean there's nothing out there. I want you to keep looking. Report anything that looks out of place, Oni." Umbra said and then turned to look at Shade with amusement.

"Also? Shade?" Umbra questioned the team scout. "You know Zeon had to come save you before. It isn't like peace and quiet are bad things. Their only bad when it means something is wrong. I haven't seen anything on scanner." Umbra added which made Shade sigh.

"And you should know CCC has blocked our equipment before." Shade put in response. "It's kinda one of their bigger moves. They've blocked our communications before." Shade added as Umbra shook his head.

"I'm well aware." Umbra put in and cracked his neck. "Their pains with making sure our equipment is up to date. I know how dangerous they are when it comes.

"You guys have fought them before a lot… Didn't you?" Clover questioned the duo who nodded and looked at her.

"For a few years to be honest." Shade put in as Umbra nodded once more.

"Yeah, there really giant pains in the a-…" Umbra started to state before Oni spoke up.

"Guys?" Oni asked, his voice was the same monotone of the suits. It still carried a slight edge to it. "You got a problem! I see speedboats, all unregistered! There coming around here, I can make out at least a dozen if I'm reading the scanners right." Oni stated as the sound of engines was indeed audible.

"Did they lure us into a trap?" Shade asked before they heard footsteps. They turned to see the woman they were supposed to be escorting back.

Umbra almost wondered if the woman was a CCC agent inserted to draw them out. He didn't have time to currently question it, however.

"Don't know, handle it later!" Umbra ordered and looked to the ground. "Get her to the plane. I'll deal with the boats." Umbra stated while drawing his swords. He looked over at Shade and Clover.

"There's too many to handle alone." Shade put in as Umbra turned to his teammate.

"I can handle a few boats and such." Umbra added before activating his suit thrusters. "Help Clover. I'll be back as soon as I can." Umbra put in while flying up into the air.

Umbra was well aware that CCC would come after them heavily. They might not have wanted an international incident? But they were willing to kill someone if it took several tries.

"He'll come back." Shade said and activated her armor's combat systems. "After he's done hunting them." Shade added and flew up into the air as a helicopter flew overhead.

Clover could clearly see it wasn't part of WOOPH since it lacked the symbol on the door. She turned to see their target rushing towards them.

"Uh, anyone see the plane?" Clover asked over her ear placed radio. She got nothing for a few minutes which made her sigh. "Great, just fantastic." Clover muttered to herself before an explosion cut her off.

"Someone please takes out that gunship!" Umbra yelled to his friends before continuing his attack. "Please!" Umbra added and fired off a few rockets.

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out that I will try and update soon, but this story has been glitching. Next chapter will be in 2-6 weeks and will show the Spies and Umbra and the others fighting CCC. It will also show more bonding between Clover and Ray. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
