Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Shadow Clovers. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Totally spies, Vincent, David Michel and a few others do.

"So… That was spy work…" Ray said as he crossed his arms and looked around the room.

"Yep." Clover said while looking at her nails before Ray hummed and nodded.

"Well, that's not something I ever expected to be doing." Ray responded and took a seat at the sofa.

"It's something you be doing a lot of, actually." Jerry stated as he walked up to the sofa. "CCC will return, and since Ray and his friends know such much about them…" Jerry added which caused Ray to hum and lean forward.

He was glad to be back at the WOOPH base. They were bound to go home sooner or later after being debriefed. Ray turned and looked to the leader of the spy organization.

"I'm starting to wonder if your being sarcastic or not." Ray stated and turned to Lucas who was busy on his phone. "Way to be a model agent, Lucas." Ray responded as he cracked his fingers and started to drum them on their legs.

"You want to go home just as much as I do." Lucas responded which caused Ray to hum.

"Yeah, doesn't mean I'm rude because I want to pass out…" Ray said and turned back. "CCC isn't going to give up… But they are going to stay off the radar for a bit. The press their get for what happened overseas? They'd be terminated before they can even get a single lawyer together." Ray stated before he hummed and crossed his arms.

"CCC does have a lot of funding for a simple government group." Jerry stated as a hologram popped up. "None of their gear was coming up on scanners… Their about as secret as WOOPH is. I've never seen a group that doesn't come up on any database." Jerry said which caused Amy to hop up.

"Have you tried matching their digital footprint against known reports?" Amy asked as Ray chuckled. "What? I'm the group's informant because I know how to hunt someone. WOOPH should know as much as WOOPH as we do… I thought you guys have been busy digging through the information I give you." Amy stated as Ray slowly pushed himself to his feet.

"Amy, let WOOPH do what they do and focus on fighting the bad guys at the moment." Ray stated with a small smile gracing his face. "Should I point out that CCC has been popping up and down government radars for years? It's not that easy to defeat them to begin… Why do you think we've been hunting them down for years at a time?" Ray said and then turned to look at Jerry who cleared his throat.

"Yes, well… I suppose I should let you go… We have a lot to pick through." Jerry awkwardly put in as Ray gently pulled Amy back to the couch. "Girls? I'll be counting on you to show them the ropes to begin with." Jerry said which caused Ray to sigh.

Ray could only ponder what happened next considering how hard this assignment would be. If they weren't on CCC's radar when it came down to it? Then they sure as anything were now. Ray guessed CCC would step up their attempts to kill them and would go after WOOPH for proving to get on their radar.

"I'm sorry that Amy does that… She does it a lot when it she has something to share…" Ray said which caused Amy to turn to look at him. "Then again? She does usually tell us and I'm guessing she expected some shocking evidence already." Ray added and cracked his fingers.

"Well, anything that helps us sink CCC will be welcome…" Jerry said as he wiped off his suit which caused Ray to nod.
"They're going to prove to be pretty hard to sink to begin with. It will be some time before we find anything out about them… And finding out a way to sink them without the government attacking us?" Jerry questioned and pressed a button which launched the group up a tube.

Jerry could only ponder what would happen next with CCC as they were going to be fought next. Jerry would indeed have to fight harder to deal with them next.

Jerry questioned what CCC would throw at them next. They'd not take the abduction of one of their VIP targets so lightly.

Then again? WOOPH had dealt with terrorists which had taken far more effort to deal with than normal. Jerry knew that they could overcome them… But he wanted to know how a group that large had managed to get under WOOPH's radar without causing even a single peep to begin with.

"CCC certainly seems powerful… But to acquire that much power so quickly? They'd need more then just a single government." Jerry stated and crossed his arms as he pondered what to tell the others.

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out that Clover and Ray are going to be talking a lot more and such. Next chapter will be in 2-12 weeks and will show more bonding and such between Clover and Ray. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
