"Will you quit brooding, Darce?"

"I am not brooding."

Rolling his eyes, the colonel thought Georgiana should call Darcy "brooder" instead of brother. He chuckled.

Darcy glared at him.

"Miss Bennet plays the piano quite well, don't you think?"

"Indeed."

"I wonder what scent she wears. It smells very pleasant. Invigorating to the senses."

"Don't stand too close to her. You don't want to raise expectations."

"But the view is likewise pleasant and invigorating. Besides, someone has to turn the pages for her."

"Very well, I shall have to do it tomorrow. You talk to Aunt Catherine."
