"If you change your mind…I'm the first in line. Honey I'm still free, take a chance on me. If you need me let me know, gonna be around when you've got no place to go, when you're feeling down. If you're all alone when the pretty birds have flown, honey I'm still free, take a chance on me. Gonna do my very best and it 'aint no lie. If you put me to the test, if you let me try. Take a chance on me!"

It was cold outside as Bill reflected on Rosie's first sing-song words of attraction from right before the wedding of Sky and Sophie. Bill had just been saying how he never wanted to settle down and such when Rosie went into that. He smiled, wondering if she still meant it, because whether she did or didn't could affect his traveling plans dramatically. He turned around when hearing the sound of a dry leaf crackling under pressure.

Rosie stopped, caught red-handed, and smiled innocently. Bill shuffled his hands in his pockets, wondering what to say. For once he couldn't think up of a humorous thing to say! Rosie swiveled her foot across the sandy ground before her, also nervous.

"Rosie/Bill," They both started and stopped so quickly it was hard to tell they had even spoken as two different people. "You first…" Bill said before Rosie could. She put her hands together and smiled. "Back in the chapel…" Bill nodded, easily recalling the scene. "…Well…I did mean…what I said." Rosie said, expecting him to have just thought it had been a whim of sudden desperation. But back in college and high school Bill had always thought that Rosie dug the Aussie. Sighing in relief he clapped his hands together.

"I had been sure you were just joking around." Rosie smiled, her nervousness now vanishing. "I thought you were just playing!" They both laughed to ease away any remains of the nervousness.

"What…where are you going?" Bill scratched his head at the question and Rosie quickly added, "I mean, now that all this has happened. Are you going back to Australia?" Bill pondered everything over, having trouble staying focused. "I'm really not sure right now…There are so many options."

Rosie smiled hopefully. "I'd like to be a part of any of them." Bill took her hand in his, grateful to have found someone with a nice humorous personality, like his own. "Then, Rosie …" With some traces of nervousness returning Bill got down on one knee and continued. "…would you marry me?"

Rosie gasped, but quickly replaced the shock with an excited smile that screamed yes. "Of course, of course, yes!" Bill grinned in relief and stood up. "Good, because I don't like getting dirt all over my knee." He chuckled as he brushed off the sand on his khaki jeans. Rosie happily hugged Bill and kissed him.

"Where to then?" She asked after the kiss. Bill replied, "I think I need to go back to Australia, to see my family and friends. Tell them about the news!" Rosie smiled understandingly. "I'll tell Donna and Tanya too…where should we have the wedding?" Bill only said, "Let's worry about that later…" Again the two kissed eachother and then they both went their separate ways to spread the happy news.
