Ari yawned as she woke up, but when she turned to the other bed in the room, she frowned seeing Hiro wasn't there. She could tell because his bed looked the same as it did when she got home. I guess he spent the whole night at school fixing Baymax. She thought.

"Mrow!" Ari looked down to see Mochi was staring up at her.

"Aww, hi buddy." She patted his head. "I'm sorry I can't hang with you today." She winced at Mochi's frown. "But I'll play with you later!"

"Meow." Mochi nodded, and headed downstairs. She quickly got ready for the day before going after him.

As she arrived into the cafe, she smiled at the sight of Rachel and Katie. "Hey Ariel!" Katie waved.

No wonder Mochi is chatty today. Ari noted as she saw the calico pad up to Katie and the two walked to another part of the cafe. "Have fun with your boyfriend, Katie!"

The blue gave her a mean scowl as her fur bristled. "Please don't antagonize my friend." Rachel pleaded. "I just want a blueberry muffin."

Ari raised an eyebrow. "Why a blueberry muffin? I thought you liked chocolate."

"Well..." The scruffy brunette shrugged. "I'm on a diet."
"For now."

"Oh, shut up." Rachel grumbled. "Just sit down."

Ari complied. "I'm going to check on my brother." She explained. "It's the weekend so I don't have school, what do you want?"

"Just…" Rachel looked reluctant. "How are your memory problems?"

"You mean my amnesia?" Ari questioned. "Same as ever, maybe I lost the rest of my memories and all I have are scraps."

"Oh." Rachel gave a sympathetic look. "You don't look upset."

"Well, my parents are dead so memories of them just make me feel worse." Ari sighed. "I'm getting bad memories of them nowadays, and I don't want to spend anymore time whining about old memories when I have new ones with my new family now."

Also nothing about my water powers which is the worst, can I at least have a guidebook on how to not murder anyone with them?! "Frankly, fine by me if I never remember." She then got up. "Nothing important is there anymore more." She lied, there had to be something worth while in her head, but she just wanted to check on her brother already.

"Okay, bye Ari." Rachel waved slowly.

"You okay?" She noticed the lack of energy.

"Oh, just tired."

Ari nodded. "Okay," she then left the cafe, giving a quick wave to her aunt as she left.

Rachel just deflated when she left. "I was scared she'd say that, memories are worth fighting for Ariel, please don't forget me…"

Hiro was exhausted, so exhausted that he didn't register Ari coming into the lab. She probably had a look of surprise seeing their sweaty and tired faces.

"Granville happened." Gogo spoke up before she could ask. "We spent the whole night looking for Momakase and then we got put through a training course."

"And it was even more brutal than when we do training sessions at Fred's house." Honey Lemon rubbed her foot. "I know she means well, but Professor Granville must be stopped."

"Agreed. She's totally out of control."

Wasabi nodded in agreement. "Yeah, she 'upgraded' my blades the other day. And now they make this annoying buzzing sound." He then demonstrated by activating one of his plasma blades which buzzed really loudly.

"Turn that off." Gogo told him.

Ari winced. "Ouch. I am in disbelief and sorry for y'all."

"Maybe one of us could ask her to take it down a notch." Honey Lemon suggested.

"How about all the notches?" Gogo added.

"Yeah, someone with a rebellious, anti-authority streak." Wasabi nodded, all three of them turned to Hiro.

He flinched at their stares. "Don't look at me. I didn't listen to her last semester, and almost destroyed the city." Hiro pulled out the broken CPU from the Kentucky Kaiju, Obake's monster symbol glaring at him.

"You know what?" They turned to Fred, who was in a robe. "I think I like it when Professor G bosses us around. It's actually relaxing. I don't have to think, like at all."

Mini-Max in a mini robe waddled after him. "There's no rest for the wicked! But justice never sleeps! Only the occasional spa day." He stated as both the comic fan and the robot sidekick left the room.

Ari shot a weird look at her brother. "I think Fred had too many sports drinks during our workout." Hiro commented.

"Ahem."

They turned around at the sound of Mikan's voice, her head poking from the door. "Hey guys, I uh… wanted to talk to you."

She was met with silence and glares. "Well, we're trying to relax, so..." Gogo scowled. "Leave."

Honey Lemon placed a hand on her shoulder. "At least hear her out."
"Fine." She scoffed.

Mikan took that opportunity to slowly crawl into the lab. "So, I might've heard that you guys are dealing with the food robberies, is Momakase behind them?"

The rest of the group said "no" while Ari said "yes!" They gave her looks. "What? She has a right to know!"

Hiro just glared. "If you're giving us 'advice' on how to deal with Momakase, then you can leave. We've got this handled."

"We do not."
"Not helping Baymax."

Mikan deflated. "I wasn't going to police you guys on how to handle her." She sighed. "Can you at least comfort David when you arrest his mom? He really wants her to stop being a villain… he just doesn't know how to say it."

Hiro raised an eyebrow. "Why are you asking us?"

"I'm asking you not just as David's friends, but as Big Hero 6." A flash of anger flared in Mikan's sharp green eyes, but Ari saw her repress it. "I don't want my brother to end up… well, in a bad place."

Wasabi nodded. "I know how that feels." He couldn't help but think of Sara, he wasn't around when she went through some of her darkest moments, but to this day she still struggled. As her friend, he tried his best to comfort her whenever that happened. "If that's all, you can go now."

"Oh, right." Mikan nodded. "Thanks for at least listening, and good luck." She quickly exited the lab.

"Phew." Gogo sighed. "We already have one person being a seventh wheel, we don't need another."

"I've made a decision." The gang was all huddled in Granville's office as the dean pulled them in for a team meeting. "We need to take the fight to Momakase."

The group blinked. It wasn't a thing they usually did. "Uh, well, we could try her old hideout." Hiro suggested, thinking of her base of operations during the food fights.

"Too obvious." Gogo shook her head. "She wouldn't go back there."

"Or maybe she'll think we'll think it's too obvious." Wasabi argued.

"Or maybe she'll think that we'll think that she'll think that we'll think-"

"People." Granville cut off Honey Lemon. "It's the only lead we've got. Now here's my plan."

"My?" Ari whispered to Hiro, who shrugged. "Someone's out for your leadership title."

The dean gestured to the whiteboard in front of her, which had a map of the area around her old hideout. "At dawn, you will raid Momakase's old hideout."

"Ooh." Fred winced. "Dawn might be tricky for me."

Mini-Max stared at him. "What sort of catastrophic event is preventing you from serving lady justice?"

"Jeez, you make it sound so serious. I just have to be up late for this fancy dinner thing." Fred placed a white flower pin on his chest. "I'm meeting my mom at a super exclusive meal, prepared by a mystery chef. She paid a fortune!"

"What's with the flower?" Gogo raised an eyebrow.

"The mystery chef chooses a color and only uses the most expensive ingredients for that color." He explained.

Hiro stared at the flower, it was white. He then turned to the board. Wait a minute. He grabbed a marker. "Anyone else notice that everything Momakase stole has the color white in its name?"

"I thought she was stealing cheese until the truffles got stolen." Ari chipped in. "But yeah, everything that she took was white colored." She turned to Fred's accessory. "Just like the flower…"

Honey Lemon had a look of realization. "Freddie, where is this mystery dinner?"

"Let me check the Internet-vite, or 'invite' as I call it." He checked his phone. "Oh, look. We're going to the same place!"

Gogo then grabbed his phone, tossed it to Hiro so he could double-check.

"Ohhh…" Fred's eyes widened at the sight. "Should've seen that coming."

"Evil shall not get away with being a wolf in sheep's clothing!" Mini-Max declared. "In the name of justice-"

"Should we send a person on the inside?" Wasabi raised his hand, cutting off the small robot sidekick.

"Not it!" Ari blurted. She shivered, having flashbacks to when Momakase kidnapped her and Karmi. "I don't wanna get close to her knives…"
"Fair." Hiro nodded.

"I could ask my friend Rachel, she might be going to that dinner so I can ask her to keep an eye out." She reasoned, and started to message her friend.

"That gives me an idea." Fred mumbled. "Brb guys, I have someone to message!"

They watched as Fred got up from his chair and stepped out of the room. "So it's decided." Granville turned the group's attention to her. "We attack Momakase tonight, before she can commit any more crimes."

"Mika?" A green eye cracked open, she saw David in front of her. "You have a call."

"From?"

"Fred." She got up.

"Alright." Mikan yawned. "Hand me the phone." Her brother complied, he stood off to the side. "Yes?"

"Mika!" Fred greeted her.

"Don't call me 'Mika', my siblings can only call me that." She chided him. "What do you need? I bet that's the only reason you called."

"Sad but true." He chuckled. "So, it turns out your brother was right in who was causing the food robberies. But you already know that."

"I'll tell him." She turned to David. "Fred tells me that you're right in who's behind the food robberies."

David pumped a fist. "Called it!" He then grumbled. "You think she'd learn a lesson after more time in jail and me yelling at her about nearly killing off the entire city but nooo…"

She winced. "He's ecstatic. Your point being?"

"Well, turns out this mystery chef dinner my mom paid for is actually one of her schemes, since we figured out it's at her old hideout."
"And?"

"And we need a lady on the inside! I'll tell my mom about this so you and David can use our tickets."

"Sounds great but uh.." Mikan sighed. "Can't. I have a late shift at my internship, I can ask my brother to keep an eye on the knife lady."

"Okay. Uh… did not expect that but sure." Fred sighed. "Okay, but don't tell him anything."

"Oh relax, I'm good at secrets." She grinned. "Sorry about what happened though."

"Thanks." And the call ended.

"What was that?" David asked her.

She faced him with amusement in her green eyes. "Let's just say Fred was giving me a warning, and I hope you're up for some spying David."

Elsewhere…

"Huh." Rachel glanced at her phone.

"Whaaaat?" Katie groaned, she was trying to take a nice nap and then Rachel poked her awake. Then again, Rachel was the only person who could wake her up without consequences.

"Ari texted me that the mystery dinner thing Dad paid for to take his mind off his cheese being stolen is hosted by the same person who stole his cheese." Katie could only blink. "Cruel irony in that."

"So, she just gave us a heads up?"

"Well, she asked for us to keep an eye out for suspicious stuff, oh and make sure Momakase doesn't take a hostage."

Katie's whiskers twitched. "Are we gonna tell her what we see?"

"Ha-ha, no." Rachel scoffed. "I don't care if she can tell the heroes about this or not, but some things you got to find out yourself." She had a hunch, since her Dad told her how strange Momakase's escape was. Skimming the details, it involved some wolf-thing, wherever it came from, that helped the chef/mercenary bust out of jail. "Also, you're not going."

"What?! Why?"

"I don't want that woman to try figuring out what talking cat tastes like."

"Fair point."

"You know." Sally looked up from her menu at her son. "I am wondering why you asked Fred to get reservations." Expensive dinners, especially from mystery chefs are not my thing. But she was willing to put up with it since David asked.

"Well…" He deadpanned, just as the chef poured them their drinks. Sally stared at the woman, the shape of her sharp mint-green eyes familiar, she then looked back at David, who's topaz eyes were the same shape. Ah. She recognized her instantly. But she wouldn't make a fuss, David was enjoying the dinner at least.

"Ahem." She turned to see a young girl who had walked up to the table shortly after the chef left.

David seemed to recognize her voice. "Hi Rachel, what are you doing here?"

"I went with my mom. I saw you guys and thought I'd visit, sides I'm not the only table visitor." She gestured to another table, where she saw the CEOs of Krei-Tech and Sycorax had a third wheel chatting with them. "Looks like Mole decided to suck-up to Liv, every rich person has been investing in her as of late."

"I made your phone, I vented the Internet-vite!" Sally snicked as she saw her husband's boss stand up dramatically to exclaim that.

"Guess he's not a Krei-Tech fan." David snickered. "Wait Mole as in Richardson Mole? That one guy that blackmailed Fred?"

Rachel shrugged. "I guess? He hit one me once at a party, and did not take no for an answer."

"Why am I not surprised?"

"Yeah, surprised he's not sucking up to Krei since they have so much in common!"

Sally just sighed. "This is going to be a long night."

Meanwhile, Big Hero 6, minus Baymax had arrived at the backdoor of the kitchen, preparing to swarm the perimeter.

"Remember, we're not splitting up this time." Hiro reminded them.

"Justice shall prevail!" Mini-Max exclaimed, but got shushed by Fred.

"Why did we bring him again?" Gogo questioned. "I thought he'd just come along when Fred was solo night patrolling."

"We need the extra muscle since Baymax's not here." Fred stated.

"I guess."

Wasabi sliced the door open, his blades still making the buzzing sound. They all rushed into the room. To where the mercenary/chef was preparing a meal in the kitchen.

"Give up, Momakase!" Hiro demanded. "You're outnumbered."

"Let me think about it." Momakase gripped two graphene cleavers. "No." She aimed them at the frying pan rack, causing it to fall onto the table as she backflipped on top of Fred, and tossed a pan at Honey Lemon. She then knocked Gogo to the ground and leapt over Wasabi, running to another room, they all gave chase.

It was a dead end, leading to a pantry. "Where'd she go?" Wasabi asked.

"There she is!" Fred pointed behind them, but as he and the former ran to tackle her, she shut the door. "Oh."

"Stand back." Wasabi activated his buzzing blades, as he sliced the door, he only saw mere scratches. "That's weird."

Fred stepped up to the plate. "This is a job for fire breath!" He roared flames, only for them to knock back into him and hit the others. "Okay, it's fire-breath proof."

"Mini-Maximum power fist!" Mini-Max tried doing his rocket fist, but it just bounced off of the door. "Oh."

Momakase then opened the door's little window. "Sorry kids." But she wasn't sorry. "This pantry is impenetrable."

"You won't get away with this, Momakase." Hiro told her.

"Nonsense. I already have." Then she left them in the dark.

Fred lifted up his hood. "Hmm."

"What are you thinking, Freddie?" Honey Lemon asked him.

"Impenetrable pantry. Impen- Impen… Im-pantry-able! Yeah!"

Gogo let out a loud sigh. "Never ask him again."

"Fine!" Fred huffed, he then grabbed a jar of pickles, sitting next to Wasabi he started chewing loudly. Mini-Max just blinked at them, the small robot being quiet since nothing was going on.

"Now what?" Gogo asked them. "We're stuck."

Hiro clicked his comm. "Professor Granville? I don't know if you'll get this. Momakase has us trapped and we need help." He closed the comm.

"I have an idea!" Fred walked up to the door. "Open sesame!"

The door did not open or move an inch.

"Well I've done all I can do."

They flashed him deadpan looks.

Granville did get the message, she sighed and sat down. "This is all my fault."

"Yes." She looked up at Baymax, whose head was starting to inflate. "No. Yes. No. Yes. No. Yes, yes. No, no. Yes."

She placed her head on her hand. "Laying your emotional baggage on a broken robot." Granville chuckled. "You've really outdone yourself, Grace."

"Yes." She looked up, seeing Baymax's blueprints on one of the screens. As Baymax released the air in his head, she got an idea.

"Let's fix this." and got to work quickly repairing the robot.

Once she was done, the robot inflated from his charging station. "xamyaB ma I ,olloH." But he was speaking in reverse.

"Good enough." They were on a time crunch so she couldn't afford to be picky. "Let's find some appropriate dinner wear."

And so they slow-walked dramatically out of the school, Baymax in his superhero gear. Granville on the other hand… just took leftover parts of everyone else's suits and stitched it together. Which included Honey Lemon's helmet, Gogo's chestplate and leggings, boots and a gauntlet from Hiro, and one of Wasabi's plasma blades. Granville got on the robot's back.

"nwod kool ton oD." She raised an eyebrow, taking his healthcare chip, blowing slightly, and putting it back.

"Now, what were you saying?"

He activated his wings and thrusters. "Do not look down."

"Got it." But as he took off, curiosity killed the cat, and her courage. "AAAAH! I LOOKED DOWN! I LOOKED DOWN!" It was gonna be a long flight.

"Goodness, your mom doesn't mind you being here." Sally noted. Rachel had just brought her chair to David and his mom's table instead of eating with her mom. Sally shot a wave to the teacher every now and then.

"I like talking to you guys." She mumbled. Not as if she was the only one by another table seeing how Richardson was still sucking up to Liv two tables away!

Hmm… Liv. She squinted, seeing Momakase stop a few feet away, pulling out her phone, and clicking something.

Liv pulled out her phone, and she could see a faint green moving shape. A faint chime was heard, Rachel scrambled, trying to figure what that sound was.

And then she heard it.

The faint beeping, she didn't know what that was at the time. But when she turned to Momakase, she saw her eyes slowly turn into green slits with yellow sclera, eyes of a feline so to say.

Rachel looked away and rubbed her eyes. I really should get glasses. She then realized Sally was saying something, and paid attention.
"Honestly, this could use a pinch more salt."

"Hm?" David shook his head. "Sorry, head in clouds, I uh, like this the way it is though."

Sally turned to her. "What do you think?"

Rachel took a sample of their food, a white chocolate souffle. "I think it needs more sugar!"

"That's what all growing children should have." She mumbled sarcastically. "A sugar crash."

"It's nice talking to you ma'am." Rachel gave her a small smile. "My dad has a lot of respect for you."

"Oh." Sally chuckled. "I'm nothing special, just Sara's aunt, and David and Mikan's mom."

"Yeah, you're a good mom." Her son mumbled. "Some parents can be jerks though."

Rachel nodded in agreement. "Well if there's one thing my dad and I learned, it's that family is not determined by blood. It must be nice having a good aunt, I don't have any."

"Aww, why is that?" Sally frowned.

"Less said about my dad's family the better." Rachel groaned. "My mom has a brother but he married a guy. Don't get me wrong, my Uncle Pete is awesome, but y'know some people wonder about things they've never had or experienced."

"And some take it too far."

"You are just full of spite and souffle tonight, aren't you honey?" Sally turned to David. "Do you want to leave?"

"I'm good but I reserve my right to protest." He grumbled as Momakase took their plates. "Freedom of speech."

"I did not pay so much for so little." Sally pinched the bridge of her nose. "To be fair we were given free seats, prayers to Fred and his lovely mother for that, but I thought we'd be given more."

"What, like a show as if some superhero is going to burst through the door?" Rachel asked, lifting a hand in the air.

SLAM!

A woman with multi-colored armor burst through the doors. "Where is Momakase?!" She demanded.

Rachel stared at her hands in shock. "Well that was one heck of a coincidence."

"Wait. That's the chef who tried to poison me!" Krei exclaimed, he then spat out whatever was in his mouth and rubbed his tongue over his napkin, and poor Richardson's shirt.

"Oh, gross!" Richardson gagged.

"I'm just gonna hide under this table." David winced. "Mom, please leave, I don't want Mother to try and slice you in half."

Sally groaned, then turned to Rachel. "Please make sure he doesn't do anything stupid, I respect my son's wishes but I don't want him to get hurt."

Rachel gave a thumbs up.

The strange superhero flashed a plasma blade. Momakase scoffed. "You call that cutting edge? This is cutting edge."

She pulled out a graphene knife and charged at the superhero, as the two fought everyone ran out of the place. As Liv ran out, Richardson closed the door, and Krei hit himself on the bars.

"I'll help." David and Rachel both ran to open the door, Krei shot them a look of thanks before bolting out.

Momakase swung her blade, cutting Granville's plasma blade, it deactivated and she winced, so she started running. Momkase tossed more blades but she dodged, Granville grabbed one and tried to fight her with it, but the chef knocked it out of her hands.

"I might be bad at fighting." Granville realized. "But I'm really good at running." So she started to run instead of fight, dodging the katana's blows as Momakase tore apart the whole place.

Meanwhile, David and Rachel hid by the counter.

"I don't know who that is or what's going on but I'm scared." Rachel shuddered.

"Her voice sounds like my professor." David commented. "It can't be Granville, can it?"

The girl next to him just shrugged. "Who knows, considering how many times Big Hero 6 shows up at your school, maybe she's an ally of them. None of my business though."

They both winced at the sound of plates and food being sliced and half. "Your blood-mom has a thing for cutting stuff, huh?" Rachel raised an eyebrow.

David just frowned. "Maybe I should just leave her to her own fate, she loves me, but she loves being a supervillain more than her own flesh and blood apparently."

"Hey, that better not be your insecurities talking." Rachel huffed. "If there's a chance you can reach her, go for it. It's better to try than to fail."

"I could do this all day!" They turned to the maybe Granville-superhero, who was running up the stairs, presumably to the kitchen.

Rachel gaped as Momakase grabbed a bottle of olive oil, threw it and sliced it in half, the oil spilling in front of the superhero. "Look out!"

Her warning came too late as Granville yelped, slipping on the oil and falling.

"You're out of your league here." Momakase taunted her, holding the katana above her. "But don't worry, I'll make it quick."

David gasped with horror as his mom gave an evil laugh. "No you won't." He growled, and before Rachel could stop him, he ran up and grabbed the katana before her mother could swing it down.
"Ack!" Momakase hissed, trying to tug the katana away from his soon. "David what are you-"
"What are YOU doing?!" David screeched, still tugging. "You were going to kill my school's dean?! I know you've done bad stuff Mother but I didn't think you were a total monster!"

Granville was just shocked to see one of her students there. "How did he recognize me?" Rachel heard her mutter.

"I am sick and tired of you putting your supervillain behavior and hurting people over me!" David growled. "I don't know what, or why you're doing these things for, but if you think that's worth more being in my life after so many years apart, then you don't deserve to call yourself my mother."

Momakase was just shocked, but Rachel then saw the faint shadow over her eye, regret, for a brief moment.
Then she saw a magnet pull her katana away, Big Hero 6 arrived at the scene.

"Dinner's over Momakase." Purple exclaimed as Yellow brought her and David to a safe spot in the room.

"Stay here." She told them.

"Yeah, you're no match for us without your sword." Green pointed out.

"True. Good thing I have these." She growled. Any regrets she might've felt were gone the moment Big Hero 6, her enemies, entered the scene.

"What th-"

Before Yellow could finish, light blue metallic claws started growing from the chef/mercenary's nails.

The scariest thing? They were purely made of graphene.

Honey Lemon gasped in horror at the sight, more horrified then seeing David bravely stand up to his mother and fear for his safety. "How did you do that?"

"Why would you do that?" Wasabi cringed in disgust.

Momakase just stared at her new claws, and then charged at them. They all yelled and ducked. Gogo tossed a disk but it quickly was sliced into bits. The former yelped, then screamed as she ran at him.

"Wa- I mean Chop Chop!" Hiro almost slipped considering there were witnesses, but managed to hand him her katana.

He was barely able to block her claws, as he sliced his blade, he managed to cut some of her hair that was tied in a bun.

"Ha!" Wasabi grinned, feeling revenge from when she cut his dreadlocks.

Honey Lemon then tossed a chem ball, which she broke out of, and then ran at her. All she could do to stop the chef's warpath was to keep throwing chem balls but she kept breaking out of them. Until Gogo picked her up and got her to safety.

Fred breathed flames from above at her, but she dodged the heat. "Yes!" But then she started climbing after him, and her claws started damaging the wooden structure. "No. No!" He fell to the ground, Gogo tossed another disk that was sliced. But as Momakase leapt to the ground, Honey Lemon froze the floor and she slipped.

Wasabi grunted as he kicked some of the tables and shelves on top of her. To add further injury Hiro threw two of his magnets on the table, which attracted several metallic things that fell on the chef as she struggled to get out. Honey Lemon finished it off by covering the entire mound with ice.

"Yes!" Fred leapt on top of the ice mound as they all relaxed.

"Is it over?" Rachel opened one eye.

"I think so." David sighed. There was disappointment in his tone, as despite being there and getting involved, it wasn't enough to stop Momakase.

Granville turned to the superheroes, removing her helm. "Hey David you were right, your dean is an ally of the superheroes!" Rachel exclaimed.

"Shhh." David shushed her. He then walked over. "Um, I stayed behind because I was worried that my mom-I mean Momakase would hurt someone." He sighed. "Guess I was right."

Granville gave him a sympathetic look. "If you need to talk to someone Mr. Ferns, my office is always open. Also, it would be kind if you and your friend could keep my associations with Big Hero 6 a secret, to protect their identities."

David nodded. "Of course, I love Big Hero 6, it's cool that you know them, and me and Rachel will definitely keep this secret."

"Yeah." Rachel hummed. "I don't really care much about your identities, I mean I used to have my own fair share of superheroes when I lived in New York. I am one with the understanding of secret identities."

The superheroes gave nervous chuckles at the relief they dodged a bullet. The dean then cleared her throat. "I would like to talk to Big Hero 6, if that is alright with you both." Granville turned to the superheroes. "I would like to apologize for being so intrusive."

"Okay." Both of them nodded, and walked to another corner of the room so they couldn't overhear.

Granville removed the broken plasma blade, and handed it to Wasabi. "Heroics are your area of expertise, not mine."

Wasabi held the broken blade with a smile. "It's all good, Professor Granville."

"Yeah." Honey Lemon nodded. "We know you meant well."

"Guys! Guys! Guys!" They turned to Baymax running in, luckily he still had his helmet on. "I do not have a mouth." At least Mini-Max was looking after the robot when they left.

"Is Red Panda okay?!" Rachel called out. They all remembered they had Baymax use Overdrive Mode to escape the pantry.

"He just hit his head getting us out!" Gogo called back.

"Okay!" As Baymax crashed, Hiro watched as his friends rushed to pick him up.

"Hiro." He jolted, it was the second time Granville called him by his name. "Why didn't you tell me I was going too far?"
"I was just trying to learn from my mistakes and be less rebellious." Hiro explained.

"Part of what makes you Hiro is questioning authority." She explained. "It's okay when it's in service of helping people. Just rein it in when I-"

Hiro flashed her a look. Granville chuckled. "I'm doing it again, aren't I?"
"Yeah, just a little."

CRASH!

Everyone turned to the ice mound, Momakase had broken through. But she was not the same. Her hair was out of her bun, all wild and ruffled, but in a more feral tone. Her sharp green eyes were catlike, teeth turned to sharp fangs, and skin a pale blue.

She roared, running at Granville and Hiro, but as the latter threw a punch she just leapt over them, clawing up to the open window on the roof. And as she was about to leave, she growled at them, acting like a feral beast. Then she made her escape.

They all looked at the window with horror. "So can we talk about those nails now-" Wasabi was cut off by a sharp wail.

David had heard his mother turn into a feral beast and burst into tears. "Wh-what just-Mum and I…" Shock was evident as he shivered and breathed uncontrollably. Honey Lemon and Gogo ran over to try and calm him down.

"Breathe, okay?" Honey Lemon patted his back. "Just breathe."

"I… I…" David sniffled. "I wanted her to learn her lesson but not like this-"

"It's gonna be okay buddy." Gogo told him, her voice unusually soft.

Rachel winced, seeing her friend in severe pain. "Well, I'm telling my dad about this." First Knox, now Momakase, someone is behind this for sure. But who?

"Uch." Fred huffed. "Classic Phase Two villain upgrade."

Everyone who was not David or the girls consoling him just sent Fred a deadpan look.

Granville was the one who drove him back home, he did intend to keep his vow of not revealing her alliance to Big Hero 6, as did Rachel, who appreciated that about the dean. But he was mostly thinking about what happened to his mother and-

"...Thank you for bringing him home Grace." It was Sally who was speaking, where was he? Oh right, on the couch being huddled by his sisters as his parents talked to the dean. "I should've stayed behind, but he was worried that his mother would hurt me."

"Well, he was not wrong." Granville replied. "Your son saved my life, he was brave enough to fight his own mother, were it not for him I would not be standing here."

Steven gasped. "Dear lord, you have a good night Professor."

"You too." The door closed.

"Oh my god you saved the dean's life." Mikan gasped, but he felt cold. "Dave, you're like an honorary superhero oh my god."

"I don't feel like it." He sniffled. If he was a superhero, he could've picked up the signs and prevented his mother from turning into that… thing.

What if she wanted to turn into a monster? The dark part of his brain told him. She's so ashamed of having a weakling son that she went further into villainy, all you did was hold her down.

"David, it's not your fault." Sara was a ray of light burning those dark thoughts. "Do you want me to call Sienna? She'll come over."

"Can you put me on the phone?" David asked, his voice sounding like a child.

"Of course." He just snuggled further into her sides, trying to warm himself up.

"I'm not a weakling, am I?"

"No!" He heard four voices chorused.

"I could never stand up to my mother the way you did." Sara told him.

"And tell her off, I didn't have the guts to do the same with my father, at least you said your piece, so if she still doesn't change her ways it's your fault." Mikan added.

Sally placed a hand on his shoulder. "You're not responsible for what she does, or trying to make her happy."

"That's right." Steven agreed. "We're proud you stood up for yourself, and it's okay to feel upset and hurt, and upset at what happened and how it ended. If you need to talk to someone, we'll all be ears."

Davis sniffled, just as he heard Sara answer the phone. "Hi Sienna!" Sara put on a happy voice. "No, we are not okay, David needs his emotional support artist."

"Really." He sighed. "You can't even say girlfriend?"

"It's weird thinking my brother has a girlfriend before me!" She dramatically exclaimed, then handed him the phone. "Here, talk about gross mushy stuff."

"David?" He felt calm hearing her soothing voice. "You okay?"

"Not really, it's a long story." He gestured for his family to leave, he loved them but he'd like some alone time. Mikan gave him a reassuring pat and heard the shuffle of their footsteps as they stepped out. "Do you mind hearing, and giving me comfort?"

"David, that's my job." Sienna giggled. "We're comforting each other, I'll come see you tomorrow, but for now, I think talking is alright."

"Yeah." He felt a smile come back, his heart had been broken, but he'd put himself back together. The question if he'd let his mother into his life was another question, especially after hurting people he cared about and since he couldn't talk to her since she was a monster and it was his fault and- David took a deep breath. "It's a long story, I'll start from the beginning..."

Time heals all wounds, and it would be easier with his loved ones to help him through it.

"Splendid work you've done." However, in a much darker part of the city, the mastermind of the whole dinner event was ecstatic. "Your investments have helped Sycorax, and that helps the future." Liv smiled.

Momakase, still in her monstrous form, seemed to have been lifted of her feral instincts as she was acting rather human. "Well, you have your payment, I have what I need and then some." The chef prepared to leave. "My work is done."

But to her shock, Liv just chuckled. "Oh no, I'm afraid you have much more work to do." Her gaze darkened as the door shut. "You will continue to serve me until I have what I'm working for completed."

Momakase did not take this well. "This was not part of the deal." She growled. "You cannot stop me from leaving."

"True, I cannot." The CEO smirked. "But I know that you love your son." Liv grinned. "I noticed the scar on his ear, was that what prompted you to give him up?"

"Do not talk about David." Momakase growled. "He's the reason I even did your work."

"I see, even though you hurt who he loves and even continued doing crimes despite his disagreements?" Liv criticized. "Not a very loving mother, no?"

"Shut up, you don't know the full story."

"But, I know what will make you shut up." Liv held out her phone. "Perhaps I will try out some of your upgrades on him. But perhaps on another level, say… it would be an interesting experiment for sure."

Momakase felt pure horror at the prospect of her son being threatened. "I ought to tear out your throat for even speaking of such things."

"It's my word against yours." Liv gave a dark chuckle. "You'd never see him again if you killed me, and he'd hate you for murdering an innocent CEO who his sister worked for, perhaps he'd think that you won't let him have any family." She growled at the backstabber. How dare she blackmail her?

"Or of course, leave, and he'll end up like Knox." Liv told her. "Hm, or I could go for one of his sisters too-"
"Fine." She hated the feeling of weakness, but even if David hated her for her questionable actions, she did love him.

"Fine what?" Liv goaded her, oh how she wanted to tear that woman apart for tricking her.

"I'll do as you ask." Momakase gave her a look of pure hatred. "But never threaten my son again, or his loved ones."

Liv looked ecstatic, she clapped her hands. "Wonderful! I'll have my assistant guide you to your quarters, try to be a good kitty, won't you?"

The chef looked like she was about to slice her as her assistant, who had been loyally staying to the side, escorted her to where she stayed.

Once it was just her in the office, Liv smiled. "At this rate, I'll be able to make lucrative progress." She hummed, "Blackmail is a very powerful tool, perhaps I will use it again, to make sure my monsters stay in line."

Liv's hand traced the desk. "Perhaps one of my interns can slip something, if David's 'sister' knows something about villains considering her history, or Karmi since she's friends with that Ariel girl, my, she has poor taste in crushes."

She'd have to pause for her next move so the superheroes wouldn't be more active, they'd probably try and stop Momakase, unaware that they would have bigger problems very soon enough.

AN: Muhahaahaha! Ah poor David, this is gonna be the first of MANY emotional roller-coaster.

Rachel knows how that feels, she is hiding something... that will be important later on. But yeah she's having her own emotional roller-coaster, that's something she and David bonded over this chapter lol

And Momakase... tsk, tsk. Yeah she got double-crossed at the end, "Liv" pulled an ace up her sleeves XD Let's just say that "Liv" likes keeping her "pets" close where she can keep an eye on them. And also she wants total control over her monsters, yeah but also like at the ending, bh6 is gonna have bigger problems...

There will be about 2 filler chapters before Pray Date, one is gonna deal with the Seventh Wheel aftermath, and the next has an original plot like an episode, it was me experimenting with making my own episodes for the first time, it was fun! And it shall have minor plot relevance in the future. Keep an eye out for those!

QOTW: Thoughts on that dinner scene? Like who do you wanna really give a hug after that?
