Hiro was tinkering in the garage, Baymax watching him with careful eyes. The teen genius was wearing goggles as he was working, the door then opened. "Hey, Hiro!"

"Hello, Honey Lemon." Baymax waved to the chemist.

"I got your text to come over." She then noticed what he was working on. "Wait, is that my chem purse?"

"Yes and no." He was working on the finishing touches with a laser. "Since you helped us the other day with that bunny suit idea, I thought I'd give you an upgraded chem purse! This is still a prototype so I didn't touch yours, just in case."

"Aww, thanks Hiro!" She smiled. "It doesn't look that different though." Honey Lemon only saw that on the side of it was a rabbit head.

He turned off the laser. "I think that's it with touches, we just gotta test it." Hiro handed her the purse. "Push that button." He pointed to the rabbit head.

"Okay." She pressed it and the chem purse started to change, a handle formed on top of the purse and the rabbit head stretched out, forming a bazooka. "Ooh." She gasped in wonder.

"Extended range and accuracy." Hiro explained.

"Sweet!" She clicked to fire and that's when it got out of hand. The bazooka started firing everywhere, they both yelped as ice spat into the streets.

"That was my sixth interview this week-woah!" And a certain glob monster was the unlucky victim to slip due to the ice. He crashed into the garbage. "Darn it!"

Honey Lemon shrieked and dropped her chem purse, running to help Globby. Hiro just looked at the prototype. "Okay. Slight problem with the accuracy."

"Sorry Globby." Honey Lemon told the glob monster who was plucking trash off of him.

"Nobody wants to hire a monster." He continued to ramble. "You'd think Monster Pizza would be open-minded. But no!" It seems like he was still having trouble getting used to being back to civilian life, and not being human anymore made it complicated, especially when trying to get a job.

"Oh! You're not a monster-monster, Globby. You're a good person." Honey Lemon reassured him.

"Well, that's just it." He sighed. "Being a monster was easy. But being a regular guy and a monster is impossible."

Baymax waddled up to him. "Would you like a hug?"

"Uh-huh!" He melted into the robot's vinyl arms.

"There there."

Honey Lemon sighed. "I am so sorry, Globby. This is all my fault." If she hadn't been so careless with her things… "It was my chem-purse that did this to you."

"Which he did steal." Hiro slidded up to her, a screwdriver in his hand as he adjusted the prototype.

"But if I had been more careful-"

"No, the kid's right." Globby told her. "I did this to myself. I'm a mess."

"C'mon Globby." Hiro frowned. "I'll talk to Aunt Cass. I'm sure she could use help around the Lucky Cat since Ari's not around as much."

The glob monster pulled him into a gooey hug. "Oh, you're the best!" He then reeled back, seeing how some of his globs were on Hiro. "Y'know, that comes out real easy with a little club soda." He chuckled.

"Thanks." Hiro tried to wipe some of it off. "Come swing by the cafe later this afternoon, and I'll put in a good word."

Globby made an excited noise, happy some good luck was coming his way. Honey Lemon then cleared her throat. "Hiro, we better get to school."

The teen's eyes widened. "Oh, heck! I forgot!"

Baymax blinked at Hiro. "Hiro, how did you forget that today is a school day?"

"I umm… lost track of time?"

Later… at school.

"Honey." She looked up from swirling her drink, Gogo was tapping her shoulder. "You've been pretty zoned out today."

"I was?"

Gogo nodded. "Yeah, I tried getting your attention two times. Is there something on your mind?"

"Yeah." Honey Lemon stared at her drink. "I was thinking about Globby, he's having a hard time going back to civilian life."

"Considering he's a glob monster, I can see that." Gogo hummed. "You're not blaming yourself, are you?"

"Well, it was my purse's fault, and not even when I made an unsticky ball all it did was unstick Globby when he tried to steal City Rising." She huffed. "If only I could help him."

"Like what? Turn him back to normal?" A lightbulb then went in the chemist's mind.

"Gogo, you're a genius!" She shook her friend by the shoulders. "Thank you so much!"

"Uh, you're welcome." Gogo shrugged. Honey Lemon thanked her again and got up. "Where are you going?"

"To ask Granville for permission!" She replied. "I'll need SFIT's labs to come up with a cure after-all."

Gogo gave her a thumbs up. "Good luck."

"Thanks!"

Honey Lemon quickly got a bunch of papers and ran to the office. "Professor Granville, I need your permission…" She opened the door.

Granville was going over paperwork, her head went up. "Honey Lemon?"

"I need to use my lab for a very important non-school project." She handed the papers over. "I wanted to fix Globby. I know what you're thinking. How, right?"

"If you'd-" but Granville got cut off.

"First, I wanna try chromatography."

"Well-"

"But before you say no, let me reassure you that this project will not interfere with my-"

"Good!" Granville spoke up. "But I'm not saying no. You have my permission."

"I do?" She beamed.

"Take yes for an answer. Now if I may resume my work…"

"Oh, thank you, Professor Granville! Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"Without any of that." She gestured, Honey Lemon continued to say thanks as she exited. Honey Lemon was giggling with excitement as she left, she could help Globby!

But she didn't notice the blonde woman by the door, who had overheard the entire conversation.

Liv smirked. "This has potential." She then walked into Granville's office. "Grace! Who's up for a Buddha bowl?"

"I'd love to Liv, but I'm a little busy with work." Granville gestured to the papers on her desk. "Perhaps next week?"

"Of course." Liv smiled. "I know this great restaurant that serves the best one, you're in for a treat!" She waved and exited, but not before bumping into someone.

"Oh, I'm sorry!" It was Ari. "Um, you wouldn't have happened to see my brother, right?" She had a paper bag in her hands. "He was in a hurry this morning and forgot his lunch, so I wanted to hand it to him."

Liv put on a face smile. "Aww, how sweet of you!" She then noticed the eyepatch. "Oh, what happened to your eye?" She noticed that some of whatever injury wasn't fully covered, and it was the shape of a claw. "Don't tell me, did you get hurt at your school's dance?"

She noted how Ari deflated. "Um… you know about that?" The sweater girl had mentioned she attended Bridgeton High School when they talked during one of her visits to see Karmi, and she wasn't someone to forget any information about a person that could be used to her advantage.

"About High Voltage attacking Bridgeton?" Liv frowned with fake concern. "It was on Action 7 News, they didn't say any students were attacked."

"Um, I asked my friends not to tell anyone." Ari mumbled. "Because I didn't want that to get my friend a life sentence."

"Juniper was the one who clawed you?"

"Yeah, it wasn't her fault, she was acting off because of that eel mutation. But it still hurts a lot…"

Liv saw how she was still reeling, perhaps she could bend it to her favor. Ari's brother was a small irritation, and she'd hate to have her join the bandwagon. So she put on a sympathetic frown. "Sweetie, I hate to be the one who asks, but was she acting like Knox levels of mutated?"

Ari shook her head. "No, not really, her mutation was probably like Momakase's from what I heard about that mess."

Bingo. "Well, by then, she was aware of her actions." She hummed. "So that little scratch was on purpose, not much of a friend thing to do, isn't it?"

Ari's eyes widened in horror at the thought. "She wouldn't have done that to me on purpose! She's my friend!"

"Only because you kept her entertained, once she was free, and able to give Big Hero 6 a run for their money…" Liv explained. "She cut you loose, it's what people like her do."

"You're lying!"

She sighed. "Ari, I'm only telling you this because I care about you." Liv placed a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sure your friends said otherwise to save your feelings, but that won't do so well in the long run." Now for a little white lie to sweeten the deal. "I hate to say it, but I guess High Voltage were villains at heart if they maimed a sweetie like you, I mean did they even check up on you?"

That was what sealed Ari's defeat. The tears swelled and she hiccupped a sob. "No, you're right. June tried going after me when she… I thought she was my friend, she was so sweet… I should've listened to my brother, I'm such an idiot."

"I'm so sorry sweetie." Liv couldn't help but smirk evilly as she gently hugged Ari. "Sycorax will put an end to the monster incidents, we're looking into what happened at your school, don't worry Ariel, they'll get justice for what they did to you."

She sniffled, wiping her tears. "Thanks Liv, for telling me that before I was suckered for any longer."

"You're welcome." As Ari walked away, Liv hummed in delight as there was one less nosy kid to worry about…

And in case push came to shove? The sweater girl would make a very useful bargaining chip that wouldn't be hard to obtain.

Meanwhile at the Lucky Cat…

"How do you know him again?" Cass gestured to Globby, who was waiting outside the cafe door.

Hiro gulped nervously. "From, uh… SFIT. Yeah."

"What happened to his... everything?" She gestured.

He blinked, she didn't recognize Globby from the news? That was probably a blessing in disguise.

"He stole-"

"The spotlight!" He quickly cut off Baymax. "When he did this next-level experiment, but there was an accident, a horrible accident." Hiro paused for effect as Cass turned back to Globby, then to Hiro.

"Poor guy." She winced.

"Exactly! That's why I thought you could give him a job." He suggested.

"Oh, Hiro, I don't know. Has he ever worked in a cafe before?"

"Globby was a-"

"Personal guy, and a fast learner." He cut off Baymax again. Cass turned back to Globby, and made her decision.

"Okay, I'll give him a chance."

"Oh, thank you!" Globby overheard and ran up to Cass, giving her a gooey hug much like he did with Hiro earlier.

"Oh! Um, you're welcome." She gave him an awkward pat on the back. As he detached from the hug, Cass winced at the goop stuck on her apron.

"You won't regret this, Aunt Cass. I hope." Hiro gave her an encouraging smile.

"He has to wear gloves, okay?" She replied, brushing off some of the goop. Cass then greeted the figure walking past them. "Hey, Ari!"

"Hey, sis!" Hiro waved to her. "Thanks again for getting me my lunch at school."

"You're welcome." She mumbled, then noticed Globby was in the cafe. "Uh…"

"He'll be working in the cafe, starting tomorrow." Cass explained. "Since you don't have school tomorrow you can help supervise."

"Yay." Ari weakly pumped up a fist, her voice empty of enthusiasm.

Cass frowned. "Are you alright, sweetie?"

"Not really, I just wanna lie down." She turned to Hiro. "Don't check up on me, I don't want to bother you." And walked out of the cafe to go upstairs.

"Her body language and lack of energy showed signs of-"

"We're aware, Baymax." Hiro sighed. "She isn't doing better at all…" He thought going to the arcade the other day would cheer her up, but she seemed to be back at square one.

Cass frowned. "Just give her some time, Hiro. It doesn't go away after a few days."

"You're right, I just wanna help her."

"I know, at least she has us by her side, so it'll be alright."

"If you say so Aunt Cass…"

"Hmm." Honey Lemon saw as the chemical she put in the glob vanished, and wrote it down. So far she hadn't had any breakthroughs, but she wouldn't give up hope!

"Hey, Honey Lemon."

She turned around and smiled at the brunette who walked into the lab. "Hi, Karmi. You looking for Hiro?"

Karmi scoffed. "Why would I be looking for him?" An explosion of chemicals went past her, blue dust covered Honey Lemon's face.

She wiped her glasses, a cough coming up from her throat. "I thought you two were friends."

"That doesn't mean I go looking for him!" Karmi huffed. "Professor Granville said maybe you could use some help with the bio-chem project?"

Honey Lemon cleaned the rest of the dust from her face before responding. "Yes! I would love that." She grinned. "The chemistry I've got, but the bio part isn't really my area."

The biotech genius walked over to the petri dish where the sample was. "What are you working on?"

"I just need to find a way to extract the foreign chemicals from Globby's tissue, but so far, no luck."

"Globby?" Karmi lit up with excitement. "Like the monster Globby?"

"Not a monster, but… yes."

Karmi placed the petri dish under a microscope. "Cool. I've never seen anything like this." She commented. "Did you lyse the cells?"

"Yeah. But as soon as I get through the membrane his cells regenerate too quickly." Honey Lemon explained.

"What if you slow down the regeneration?" She suggested.

"How?"

Karmi looked up from the microscope. "Bio 101: starve the cells of nutrients."

"That's a great idea, Karmi." Honey Lemon beamed. "You're brilliant!"

"Yes. I know." She smirked.

"This is gonna work. I just know it!"

"You're way optimistic."

"Yes, I know!" Honey Lemon giggled, grabbing Karmi by the shoulders.

"Oh, I'm late for class." Karmi noticed. "But I can stop by tomorrow if you want."

"Oh, bio besties!" She reached for a hug, but Karmi stepped back.

"Okay…" She exited the lab.

Once she left, Honey Lemon put her hair in a bun, poured chemicals into vials, heated the burner, and got to work. An orange liquid was slowly dripping into a beaker, and Honey Lemon watched with excitement. So she waited, and waited, and waited…

And waited... this is going to take awhile. Honey Lemon realized, but she'd welcome the challenge!

Several hours later...

Honey Lemon nearly found herself drooping to sleep as she watched the orange liquid continue to drip into the beaker, it was barely a quarter full and it was evening. "Hey, Honey Lemon." Gogo walked up to her. "You're still busy?"

"Yeah." She yawned. "Waiting for this to fill up."

Gogo poked the beaker. "How long have you been waiting?"

"Since the afternoon."

Gogo looked at her with concern. "Is there any chance you can take a break, maybe we could go grab some food?"

"Oh, is Fred taking everyone to Noodle Burger, again?" Honey Lemon asked her.

"No, I was wondering if we could go get food ourselves." Gogo awkwardly shuffled her feet. "Just us."

"Oh!" Honey Lemon blinked. "Um, I'd love to but… I really need to keep an eye on this." She gestured to the beaker. "Maybe another day?"

"Or I could help!" Both of them yelped as Mikan popped out of nowhere and walked up to Honey Lemon. "I was getting some stuff and overheard, I could watch your thing for a few while you get food-OW!"

Gogo punched her on the shoulder. "Don't sneak up on people!"

"Sorry." Mikan rubbed her injury. "Still mad at me, huh?"

"It's been a few weeks, I'm not mad as much." Honey Lemon commented. "But are you sure you wanna keep an eye on this? It's really important."

"Yeah!" Mikan told her. "Might as well help you guys instead of being a nuisance." She gave a nervous chuckle.

"Okay." Honey Lemon then told her how the basics and what formula she should use, and after a few minutes Mikan had enough info to keep watch for a while.

Then she was able to grab a nice meal with Gogo before going back to the grind. She tried to keep her eyes open as the evening turned to night, but eventually she fell asleep.

The beaker was three-fourths full in the middle of the night, Honey Lemon was snoring like a bear as the orange liquid was still dripping.

The Robotics lab was silent, until one of the ceiling vents opened and a man stepped out of it, entering the lab. A security bot rolled into the lab, scanning the area, but before it could identify the thing darting at it, a hand pierced through the security bot, electricity cackled as it broke.

The man then noticed the snoring Honey Lemon. "You need a puppy, Gogo, everyone needs a puppy." She mumbled in her sleep. He was more interested in the purple glob lying in the jar, after removing the broken bot from his hand, he snuck over.

But as he opened the lid, Honey Lemon yawned. "Andre, I named the puppy." She was still asleep, the man just gave a deadpan look.

He then pulled out a syringe, and extracted some of the glob, then unscrewed the lid and placed the jar back. Before he made his exit, he grabbed the broken security bot and took it with him.

Chris smirked as he closed the vent, nobody would suspect that he was there in the first place after he disabled the security cameras, they'd just think it was a glitch in the system.

Besides, he got what he came for, and Liv would be happy he managed to grab a sample for their own gain.

AN: And we're back to canon eps!

Nega-Globby I was wary at first because I didn't really change canon too much so I just added extra scenes

including "Liv" telling Ari some really uncool stuff. Way to rub salt in the wound pal.

But it worked since Ari's an emotional mess and she just wanted to latch onto any answer of "what the heck happened at the school dance" and sadly, "Liv's" story of events were enough to plant seeds of doubt in her, while also making Ari trust her since "Liv" gave her an answer to her query.
Like Obake said, our doubts make us forgot the good we have, and in Ari's case her doubt caused her to forgot the goodness that was her and Juni's friendship, thanks a lot "Liv" : (

QOTW: Favorite science stuff you liked seeing in the show
