"Oh, great. The sticker party's still here." Gogo had gotten back from running some morning errands. Which included her asking Globby for some info about the cars, he was able to arrange a meeting for him and Felony Carl to talk with Fred and Hiro later in the afternoon.

And to her dismay, the sticker afterparty was still partying.

Fred was the first to notice her. "Uh oh, Gogo's in the house!" Honey Lemon then walked over and pulled her into a hug.

Gogo was mildly surprised. "Um, what's going on?"

"Gogo, I know how much you treasure your space, and I know I've invaded it with my stickers, and my smile-ates, and my surprise portraits." Honey Lemon explained.

"Honey Lemon, what are you getting at?"

"I just found out SFIT is allowing me to return to the dorms! You can have your apartment back!" Behind her, the gang cheered.

Wasabi threw confetti, Hiro played one of those noisemakers, Fred wrapped his arm around Hiro with joy, and Baymax also tossed confetti into the air.

"Oh. Wow. Finally." Gogo commented as Honey Lemon hugged her once more. "I'm free."

But why did she feel pain at the thought?

Superhero Squad group chat:

Captain Cutie: Yo guess what we learned from Felony Carl!

Chem Girl: Where did you guys meet?

Flame Jumper: Joe's Diner

Ariel: Omg lucky! I want their fries,,,

Captain Cutie: So Sparkles is running the car race for rich people

Speed Queen: *pretends to be shocked*

Chop Chop: And?

Flame Jumper: He's teamed up with Yama!

Ariel: I'm scared now

Captain Cutie: I'm mostly disturbed they've teamed up

Flame Jumper: Yeah feels like something you'd see in a fanfiction

Speed Queen: bruh

Chop Chop: Wow Felony Carl is a great source

Captain Cutie: We're marking it down. Gotta thank Globby for helping us out

Chem Girl: I am so proud of Globby : D, tell him I said hi!

Flame Jumper: He says hi back.

Felony Carl shortly had to leave the group at the diner, but not before giving them info, a location, and a hug to Baymax. "So." Globby turned to the group. "Do you wanna order something? I can score you guys a discount, me and the owner are pals."

"Sure!" Fred nodded. "I wanna try a new flavor they have for the Joe Dog!"

"I'll just have a burger and fries." Hiro shrugged.

The tapping of footsteps walking up to their table made them look to the side. "Hey, Globby!" It was Rachel, she gave a wave to the glob monster.
"Hey!" He waved back.

Fred whistled. "Wow, you guys do know each other?"

Katie then appeared from behind Rachel's shoulder. "What? Surprised?"

"No, just never saw you guys interact in person."

"Fair." Rachel shrugged. "We just follow each other on Tweeter."

Hiro then cleared his throat. "We were asking Globby and Felony Carl about the car situation, he told us Mr. Sparkles is running the thing." Rachel and Katie both groaned. "I share your thoughts."

"Oh my god I hate that guy!" Katie bristled. "I wanna ask Elio to drop the case so Big Hero 6 can kick his sparkly a-"

"Katie!" Rachel shushed her. "Well, if you guys run into Big Hero 6 tell them that, my dad could use the help. The speeding cars must be related to the robberies."

Globby raised a hand. "I bet it's a diversion!"

"Most likely." Hiro nodded. "Uh, do you wanna get lunch with us?"

"Sure, why not?"

A line was sketched in the middle of her bluepapers. Gogo stared at the schematics with dedication. These should work. She thought.

Since the monster attacks were happening lately, Hiro suggested that they'd make her some new equipment, like Fred's new suit and Honey Lemon's bazooka.

"Hey, Gogo!" Speaking of the chemist, she popped up behind the lab wall. "Sorry for all the boxes. I'll try to be out by the end of the week."

"Really?" Gogo raised an eyebrow. "So, you're just going to stiff me for your half of the rent this month?"

"Of course not." Honey Lemon pulled out her phone. "I already Cash Guru-ed you my half of the rent for the next three months, see?" The phone was shown to Gogo, she blinked in surprise.

"Oh. That's really nice of you."

The chemist chuckled, and then left. Hiro then walked up to her. "Hey, we got a lead on Sparkles."

Her response was void of any enthusiasm. "Yay."

Hiro looked at Baymax. "What did I say?" And walked off. The healthcare companion looked down to Gogo, she had her head lying on her arms and was tapping her pencil on the desk.

He waddled closer to her. "I am programmed to provide emotional support."

Gogo lifted her head to stare up at him. "Baymax, I'm fine."

"Your slumped shoulders and the lower pitch of your voice are indicators that you are not fine."

"I don't need-"

"Sharing feelings can be difficult, but can lead to a better outcome." Baymax placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Hmm. Yeah." Gogo hummed. "Maybe you're right." She walked over to Honey Lemon's workstation, walking from behind the wall. "Hey, Honey Lemon?"

She turned around, her green eyes bright as ever. "Yeah?"

"Look. It might be a good time for me to share." She walked over to her, but once making eye contact, Gogo felt herself freeze up.

Why? Why was she freezing?

But… she just couldn't… Those eyes-

"My pencil! There you go." It took a lot of effort to keep her voice steady.

"Oh, thanks." Honey Lemon accepted the old pencil with hesitance. "That's really… sweet." She then walked away, and Gogo watched with sadness.

She turned to see Baymax leaning from behind the wall, blinking at her.

"Stop judging me with your blinks."

"Gogo." Baymax stated. "Do you have feelings for Honey Lemon?"

She blinked. "What? No!"

"Your increased heart rate and blush on your cheeks indicate otherwise." He tilted his head.

She started grumbling. There's no way I have a crush on her!

At that moment, Hiro came back with a tablet in his hands. "Oh. Hey, Gogo. I ran some aerodynamics on the hyper-cycle and, uh…" He showed the results. "Well, you're good to go."

"Great." She huffed and walked back to her workstation. Baymax waddled up to Hiro.

"What'd I say?" He frowned.

"Gogo is emotionally vulnerable at the moment."

Later when she got back to her apartment, Gogo kept thinking about what Baymax said. There's no way I have romantic feelings for Honey Lemon, do I?

"Being hung up over this isn't like me at all." She mumbled. "Where did Honey keep those mood stickers?" Gogo found them in one of the drawers, and placed one to her chest, the colors stayed a dull grey.

"Knew those wouldn't work." She sighed. "Sides, I don't need a sticker or Baymax to tell me I have a crush on Honey Lemon? What's there to crush on?"

But as she thought about it, there was a lot. Her bubbly attitude, the way she kept being positive even during tough situations, how determined she was to see the good in everyone. How her eyes would light up in the smallest of ways at cute things and her smile-

Gogo then looked back at the mood sticker, and saw it was a bright red color. She quickly tossed it away in case Honey Lemon came back at that moment.

"Oh, no." Gogo spoke Baymax's signature line. "Oh no… oh no."

How did she get a crush on Honey- I mean they were roommates and spent a lot of time together more recently but still!

She groaned and sat down on the couch. "Great, I got a crush on someone who won't even like me back." There was no way Honey Lemon felt the same way, they were too different.

Honey probably prefers someone that's bubbly as her, not someone cynical as me. Gogo sighed. I'd just ruin our friendship if I told her.

What was she supposed to do? "Well, at least that explains why I don't want her to move out." Gogo placed a hand to her head. "I'm such a mess…"

Meanwhile at the Frederickson manor!

"Okay." Fred gestured to his large tv screen, where it was split between an image of Sparkles and Yama. "So, what's the play here?"

He then squealed with excitement. "I've always wanted to say that!"

Beside him were Mini-Max, Hiro, Wasabi, and Ari. "Normally, we'd send someone undercover to get more info." Hiro stated. "But…"

"Mr. Sparkles and Yama would instantly recognize all of us." Wasabi pointed out.

"Couldn't we ask Detective Rosemary to go undercover?" Ari suggested. "I bet he has a whole wardrobe of disguises and fake mustaches."

Hiro shook his head at her, she should stop listening to Fred so much. "The police kept tripping up on booby traps in Sparkle's warehouse, and Yama is a gang leader, who knows what sort of weaponry they have in case the police try raiding them." He explained.

"If Yama had something like his Mega Yama bot, it'd be too risky. And they could slip out under all the chaos."

"Aww." Ari frowned. "Someone undercover would work, just not Detective Rosemary or us, or me I guess." She pointed to herself. "Yama is scary."

"That's an understatement." Hiro nodded in agreement, he had faced the wrath of Yama himself and got away relatively unscathed than most people.

"Okay." Wasabi nodded. "So we need someone we can trust."

"Who looks extremely rich." Hiro added.

"Can handle being under a terrifying amount of pressure." Ari chipped in.

Fred clapped his hands. "And is a great driver!" He gestured.

The door then opened. "May I be of service, Master Frederickson?" Heathcliff offered.

A lightbulb went in the comic fan's head. "That's it, I know who our driver should be!"

"I'll do it!" Mini-Max waddled over to Heathcliff.

Fred chuckled as he followed and looked down at the small robot. "I think somebody's ready for their napity-nap, sleepity-boop."

"I am not ready for my napity-nap, sleepity-boop." Mini-Max stomped his little feet on the ground. "I am ready to defend justice!" Fred picked him up and the small robot was cradled in his arms.

"Hush, little Mini-Max. Go to sleep, boop!" Fred sang, at the end he booped Mini-Max's head with his index finger, and the small robot powered down to sleep.

"Aww." Ari gushed. "I hope he has sweet dreams!"

Wasabi raised an eyebrow. "Can robots have sweet dreams?"

Hiro coughed nervously. "Funny you should say that…"

Fred quickly took them to his dad's secret lair. "Can I ask why we're here?" Hiro asked.

"Dad might have some tips for us." He replied, and turned on the monitor. "Hi dad!"

Mr. Frederickson looked to be on a tropical island. "Hey, son!" He waved. "What's the occasion?"

"Oh, we're looking into this underground racing ring run by Mr. Sparkles and Yama, and Heathcliff is going undercover." Fred explained. "So, Dad. You got any words for 'shaboy Heathcliff here, before he faces Sparkles?" He gestured to the butler, who was cradling Mini-Max.

Mr. Frederickson placed a hand to his chin. "I always hated fighting screwball villains. No respect for the game."

Hiro nodded in agreement. "What about going undercover as a rich thrill-seeker, Mr. Frederickson?"

"Heathcliff doesn't need my advice. He's the best in the biz."

Ari gave Heathcliff a look. "Oh, wow. Really?"

Mr. Frederickson pulled out his phone. "Back when I plucked Heathcliff out of butler school, I schooled him on undercover work: doctor, banker, hot-air balloon enthusiast. He could pull the wool over his mother's eyes." He showed several photos of Heathcliff, who always had the same serious look.

Wasabi leaned over to Ari. "Is it just me, or did Heathcliff never age?" He whispered.

"That or he's good at putting on make-up." Ari whispered back.

Heathcliff nodded to Mr. Frederickson. "Oh, indeed sir. I relish the opportunity to serve Mr. Sparkles some hot justice under glass."

Mini-Max then woke up at the sound of justice, leaping out of the butler's arms. "I like the way you talk about justice!" He held out a fist.

"Oh. Um, thank you, Master Mini-Max." Heathcliff fist-bumped the small robot.

Fredzilla: The evil has been defeated!

Sara hummed as she walked over to the school cafeteria, a bouquet of flowers in her hand. This is it! She was telling herself. I'm gonna walk over to Wasabi, give him these flowers, and then we'll kiss!

She was giggling with joy as she entered. "Now to find Wasabi and-"

"It's always a joy to run into you Roger!" Oh no, nononononono-

"Aww, thanks Chris!" Wasabi was talking to the handsome assistant from Sycorax.

Occasionally when the man was checking up on Sycorax's interns for personal projects, he'd always go out of his way to talk to Wasabi, and it always got on her nerves since Chris always gave her dirty looks when Wasabi wasn't looking.

I'll just wait for him to go away. Sara grumbled, hiding behind a wall. This better not take forever.

"Do you need to talk to Karmi or Mikan? I don't know where either of them are, but you could check their labs." Wasabi suggested to him.

Chris shook his head. "No, I actually came this time to see you!"

"Really?" There was a big smile on Wasabi's face, and Chris smirked.

"You see Roger, I've grown rather attached to you." Sara's eyes widened. Please don't tell me…

"In fact, I'd even say that I've got feelings for you!"

Sara looked over to Wasabi, his face was surprised, but it turned to a smile. "Uh, wow. To be honest Chris-"

She had a glimmer of hope in her chest.

"I… actually feel the same way, you're so charming, charismatic, and such a good chef. I'd love to go on a date with you."

The bouquet fell out of her arms.

Chris happily clapped his hands. "That would be great, perhaps at the end of the week?"

"Yeah. Saturday is perfect."

"Excellent, I know this good restaurant with the best salads, you'd love it." They were holding hands now, and then their lips connected, then broke away. "See you then."

"See you." The assistant was smiling, in the corner of his eye he noticed Sara watching the scene with tears, and he flashed a smirk her way as if to rub more salt in the wound.

She couldn't take it anymore and started running off.

I-I should've told him sooner like Mika asked… Sara was telling herself. No, but he liked him. Of course Wasabi would like Chris more than me. I guess my mom was right, who would love a girl ruined by her own trauma?

Her heart was shattering into pieces as she had been rejected once more, but that was okay.

Sara's heart had been used to it long ago…

It had felt like hours when she stopped running and just collapsed down in a hallway, keeling next to the wall and burying her face into her palms, no one around to hear her wails. Or so she thought…

A lab door opened behind her. "Sara?" A girl's voice asked, she looked up to expect her sister, or one of her classmates. "Are you okay?" The voice had been Karmi.

"Oh… hi." She rasped. "I'm fine."

Karmi frowned. "Sure, and I'm dating Genius Boy." She placed her hands to her hip. "Come in, and tell me who broke you."

Sara reluctantly walked into Karmi's lab, and took a seat. "I'm gonna grab something from the cafe, hang right, okay?" The biotech genius then left, and Sara just slunk down in the chair.

I'm so pathetic. She slapped her head. I didn't cry this much when Tadashi rejected me.

It had been a very simple conversation, she had politely confessed and wasn't pushy about her advances. Tadashi then told her that he was solely interested in men, she had been a little down, but was supportive and made sure he found someone that made him happy.

Karmi shortly returned with a fruit flavored soda. "I'm back." She handed Sara the can. "You like orange flavor, right?"

"No, that's Mika." She sarcastically replied. "It's her namesake even."

"Har-har." Karmi rolled her eyes. "Can you tell me what happened?"

Sara raised an eyebrow. "Why do you care?"

"Well, I can't stand bullying, even if I'm not friends with that person, nobody deserves to be bullied." Karmi replied. "Who hurt you?"

"No one!" Sara shook her head. "I'm not being bullied."

"Does it have to do with the flowers I saw dropped on the cafe?" Karmi asked. "I saw them on my way back."

She wiped away her tears. "...Yes."

"Oh." Karmi blinked. "I'm sorry to hear." Her reddish-brown eyes flashed with sympathy. "Do you wanna talk about it?"

"Promise to not tell my siblings?" Sara requested. "I don't want them to start a witch hunt at Wasabi."

There was a look of genuine surprise, clearly Karmi didn't guess it was Wasabi who unintentionally broke her heart. "They won't hear it from me… but what made you fall in love with him?"

"Well, it was before the fire…" Sara gestured. "We were all chilling at the park. I remember it because Hiro wanted to continue working on his microbots." She chuckled at the memory. "It was so adorable seeing him try to give Tadashi the puppy eyes to go back home."

"C'mon, Tadashi!" Hiro was whining. "I'm not even halfway done with the microbots and the showcase is two months from now! I need to continue working on them!"

Tadashi had chuckled and ruffled Hiro's hair. "You won't get done anytime soon if you burn yourself out, little brother." He smiled. "Take a breather."

"And smell the roses?" Hiro raised an eyebrow.

"Well, maybe not that."

Sara chuckled at the scene. "Personally I'd smell the daisies! They mean happiness."

"Really?" Fred blinked, looking at one of the daisies growing in the park. "I don't feel happier looking at them…"

"She means it symbolizes happiness." Gogo rolled her eyes. "Knucklehead."

"I heard that!"

"Guys-" David ran up to them to stop any arguing.

"When did we start talking about flower symbols?" Wasabi walked up to her. "I didn't know you were into flower symbolism."

Sara playfully stuck her tongue at him. "I just think it's neat."

"Gogo! Leave Fred alone!" They turned to Tadashi rescuing the comic fan from the argument, her brother was unsuccessful in stopping the conflict.

"Oh, look. Prince Charming is saving his true love." Hiro sarcastically called out.

"Hiro!"

Both of them chuckled, Sara then noticed petals were falling down on them. "Oh, look. The cherry blossoms are in bloom."

"Neat." Wasabi held out his palm and sniffed some of the flowers. "Ach-oo!" He sneezed, and one fell on his nose, he sneezed again.

Sara giggled at the scene, but then a blush grew to her cheeks and she squeaked, turning away. Oh dear…

"And that's when I started crushing on him." Sara explained. "And then a week later when he helped me with some tough work, I was head over heels."

Karmi raised a hand. "If you fell in love with him way back then, how come you didn't confess?"

"Well, I was going to confess after the showcase since I had gathered my courage then." She explained. "But y'know… life hates me."

"Oh." Her eyes widened.

"Yeah, I wasn't in a mood to pursue any relationships after that." Sara explained. "Also if you mention that to David and Mika and they mention anything happened at the beach resort we went to afterwards they are liars who do not understand the full context and I swear if they bring up Chad one more time I'm gonna-"

"Uh… Do you want more soda?" Karmi flinched.

"Sorry, that got more personal." Sara dryly chuckled.

"Okay then. Are you gonna be okay?"

"No." She sighed. "But I'll live."

The biotech genius frowned. "Well, if it gets too much for you… You can always chill in here."

"Is that a friendship offer I'm smelling?!" It was almost worrisome how quickly Sara bounced back to being energetic.

"No." Karmi frowned.

"Aww."

"But as long as you respect my boundaries, I don't mind talking to you."

"Well, I guess I'll be going." Sara began to head for the door. "And Karmi?"

"Hm?"

"Thanks for listening to me cry about boys."

"It's no problem." She waved it off. "Boys are overrated, maybe try going for a girlfriend?"

Sara raised an eyebrow. "Are you crushing on a girl? Is it Ari? You two are close…"

"Ew, no!" Karmi exclaimed. "She's like my little sister!"

"Okay." She held up her hands in defense. "Just asking, 'cause it's not like you and Hiro are gonna get together anytime soon."

"Get out of my lab." Karmi pointed to the door, her cheeks a little red.

"Is that a blush I see?!"

"GET OUT OF MY LAB SARA!"

"Oh my god that's a blush!"

"OUT!" And Sara was cracking up as Karmi shoved her out, nothing like a little bit of laughter medicine to cure heartbreak.

AN: I have to give credit to h-theartist from tumblr for helping me with some of the moments Gogo has in this chapter

It definitely adds to the romance drama going on!

And speaking of drama oh man, poor Sara. Her heart got stepped on pretty badly : (
She doesn't want to feel any resentment to Wasabi, bc she didn't tell him how she feels and he didn't do anything bad on purpose. Though Chris though... well, I think it adds to the COM arc if they built up a relationship (romantic or platonic, probably platonic let's be honest Disney would just ship-tease in canon but not make anything official)

I'm not gonna spoil what'll happen, but yeah... wait and see what'll happen.

I'm not a huge fan of writing love triangles bc most things write them stupid, mostly with two people fighting for another as some sort of "prize" which is annoying. Sara in a previous chapter mentions that, she doesn't see Wasabi as some sort of prized possession, but she is not a fan of Chris' attitude, and she's worried he's just messing with Wasabi like he's messing with her. So she just doesn't want to see her friend's heart broken, but is too scared to come off as jealous to say anything.

Idk what else to say here, if you guys are annoyed by the romance drama stuff, that's fair, but it's something I wanted to write for the fic, so don't try forcing me to change it or anything. I did try my best to write it as best I could n.n;

So of course I had to write Karmi the one being to save the day at the end! She and Sara haven't been friends (with Sara trying to force friendship onto Karmi), but Karmi doesn't want to see anyone heartbroken, so she tries her best.
