Bottle Caps
The Teen Titans were having a picnic at the Jump City park. It was a great day for a picnic, the sun was shining and birds were chirping. Starfire was sitting under an apple tree with Robin. Suddenly Cyborg came between them, "Robin! Come on! Lets play some foot ball!" Cyborg said. "Okay, Cy. I'll talk to you again later, Star." Starfire noded. She walked over to the picnic blanket and collected the empty soda cans. She counted them..ten cans! "Terra, who has been consuming so many cans of the soda?" Starfire asked in awe. "Oh..those...well i'd say it's probably Beast Boy and Cyborg...but you know what you should do?" Terra asked. "What shall we do, friend Terra?" "Well...sometimes when you're curious of your love destiny, you can take the bottle cap on the soda, say the alphabet, and when it brakes off on a letter that is the name of your true love!" "Oh Terra, you a certain it works properly?" Starfire asked curiously. "Yeah sure...come on lets see if you get an 'R'!" Terra exclaimed. "Terra...you are meaning the 'R' for...Robin? "Of course...I know you like him!" "Well perhaps I do but-" "No buts...you have 10 chances...goooooo Star!" Terra inturrupted. "Okay...I shall...but I wish to do it in the private.." "Okay Star..." Terra answered and left to play foot ball with Robin, Cyborg, and Beast Boy. Starfire went back under the apple tree. She took the first can. "A,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i,j,k,l,m,n,o,p,q,r!" she quietly mumbled. I have gathered an 'R' she thought. Nine more bottle caps later, she had gotten all 'R's'. "Terra...help!" Starfire said. "What!" "I have received all R's on the doing of the bottle caps!" Starfire answered. " Okay...now we know you and Robin are meant to be...go to him, and tell him how you feel." Terra said. "You are sure he likes me?" Starfire asked. "One hundred percent." Terra said confidently. Starfire noded and walked away in search of Robin. She found him. It was almost time for the fireworks. Starfire had located Robin, and asked him to watch it with her. She believed this would be the perfect time to tell him. "Um..Robin?" "Yeah Star?" Robin asked. "Well Terra and I were doing the twisting of the caps of bottle to find out who our true love is..she gave me ten tries and for each one I received an 'R'! Robin...I knew before without those caps of bottle that I loved you..." said Starfire looking nervously at Robin. "Starfire...I love you too." Starfire gasped happily and Robin and Starfire kissed as the first fireworks began.
