A/N: xD I hope lol Why is this story not going as I planned!? Dx Seriously though guys sorry for all ya'll who wanted this to be different I originally wanted this a Koga/Kagome but then Sesshomaru messed up all my plans… Thanks a lot! BTW this is A/U I already know the ending to Inuyasha..

Sesshomaru: This Sesshomaru has done no such thing.

Me: .' When did you get here?

Sesshomaru: …

Me: HOW MUCH HAVE YOU HEARD!?

Sesshomaru: ..Enough.

Me: *gulps* ok guys gotta write later guys! *runs away*

Sesshomaru: *sigh* She has forgotten she cannot outrun me.

Forever Mine

This Sesshomaru Investigates!

Sesshomaru arrived at the familiar location, he knocked on the door once and then twice when no answer came. He rubbed the back of his neck as he listened to the all too quiet house. Knocking a third time, he listened and tried to catch a scent. It wasn't Koga's style to ignore a guest so something must have gone wrong, he assumed. He looked around to be sure that the car was indeed parked out front before walking around to the back of the house. He caught the scent of the maid and followed it to the nearby flower pot he lifted it and picked up a small key which he used to unlock the door. Opening the door he announced his presence and stepped inside where he saw a small pool of blood. He was instantly alert as he approached, he knelt down before Koga's unconscious form to access his injuries. It seemed the major wound was already healing fairly quickly and was not life-threatening. Sesshomaru gave a relieved sigh before hefting Koga and taking him upstairs to his bedroom.

He gently lay Koga down when a knock at the door startled him. Sesshomaru walked down the stairs keeping is disguise in place as he answered the door.

"Kagome," he said aloud when he saw her. He silently berated himself as he watched her face go from smiling to confused.

"Eh?"Kagome said.

"Sorry," he apologized.

"Does Koga live here?" Kagome asked.

"Yes, come in," Sesshomaru replied opening the door and allowing inside. He was slightly confused that she hadn't recognized him right away. "He had a bit of an accident earlier but he should recover soon." Sesshomaru wondered how long it really had been since she had last encountered him and if she had really forgotten him. He certainly couldn't forget her, after all the times she had attempted to kill him.

"Oh, I guess I came at a bad time," she replied stepping inside and removing her shoes. She wasted no time following Sesshomaru to the couch. She sat down on the couch itself while Sesshomaru sat on the large comfy chair and watched her. "Do I know you?" she asked suddenly.

"You should, I was your mortal enemy," he hinted. "I attempted many times to reclaim the Tessaiga."

"Sesshomaru?" she asked surprised. He nodded allowing his markings to show now that he was sure she remembered him. "Wow it's been so long, you've changed a lot." Sesshomaru blushed at that, he wasn't sure why such a statement caused the reaction but it did. "Didn't you used to have a big fluffy thing?"

"It was another demon that passed away quite a while ago," Sesshomaru replied. "I had gotten into a fight with a few demon hunters and it sacrificed itself to save me."

"I'm sorry to hear that," Kagome replied. "At least you are still around." Sesshomaru decided not to reply and instead rose to go and make some tea. He heard Kagome turn on the television and smiled a bit, he hadn't actual expected to be complimented but it was nice. When the tea was ready he brought her a cup and then enjoyed his own.

"What did you come here for?" Sesshomaru asked.

"Oh I was going to tell Koga I had to change our plans for Friday," Kagome replied.

"Plans?" Sesshomaru asked. He felt a little hurt that Koga had made plans with Kagome.

"Yeah we were going to go out to dinner and catch up," Kagome replied. Sesshomaru relaxed a bit, he almost wanted to join just to be sure nothing blossomed between the two but that would really selfish of him. "You should come with. I heard you have two kids as well?" He looked up surprised that she would invite him to join her and Koga.

"Yes I do, Rin left me two children a daughter and a son," Sesshomaru replied.

"Oh sorry," Kagome said. He smiled at the flustered apology.

"It's fine, I knew I would lose her one day and she lived a full and vibrant life," Sesshomaru answered. "I miss her but I also remember the best of our time together." Kagome smiled before taking a sip of tea and watching the interesting story that popped up.

"A fox was spotted around town today," The news reporter said. "Some of the locals take it as an omen of some mischievous event is about to occur while our experts believe he is just lost and looking for food. If you see this fox do not allow it into your home for any reason as it may have rabies.." Sesshomaru stared at the image for a while before he recognized the demon.

"Hmm seems Shippo is still wandering around as a fox occasionally," Sesshomaru spoke breaking into Kagome's sudden silence.

"Eh!? Shippo?" Kagome asked. "That is what Shippo's fox form looks like?"

"Yes, he has used his foxfire to create very detailed illusions but sometimes he takes his actual fox form," Sesshomaru responded.

"I see," Kagome whispered, puzzling through the odd news report.

"It's strange though, that image was taken near my house," Sesshomaru mused. Kagome looked surprised before she seemed to remember something.

"So, how is it being a secretary?" Kagome asked. It was Sesshomaru's turn to be surprised until he realized who might have told her.

"Koga told you," Sesshomaru stated.

"Oops," Kagome gasped.

"It's fine, I wanted to try something different to keep things interesting," Sesshomaru replied.

"I see," Kagome said with a smile. Sesshomaru smiled a bit as well, unable to stop himself so he took a sip or tea to prevent her from noticing. Footsteps came own the hall and stairs, before the owner of those steps appeared in the living room.

"Kagome? How did you get my address?" Koga asked.

"Your secretary wouldn't give me your phone number, he said I should deliver my message personally," Kagome replied sounding a bit annoyed. "Anyway I have to cancel friday I forgot I had plans with Sota to check up on him but we can get together another time and maybe you can bring Sesshomaru. That way we can all hang out and catch up." Koga smiled.

"Yeah, that'd be nice," Koga replied. They sat and chatted a bit more before Kagome excused herself and left the two demons sitting in the living room together, alone. Sesshomaru let out a breath and was going to stand when Koga stepped in front of him. "I promised you an explanation, so do you mind staying for dinner?" Sesshomaru was surprised by this but nodded. He had half expected Koga to be angry with him and kick him out. He heard Koga curse about the blood on the floor and heard the telltale sign of the other cleaning it up. It wasn't long before he smelled the sweet scent of beef cooking on the stove, it was tantalizing all on it's own and reminded him of Jakken's cooking. Granted they didn't need to eat but it was considered normal to eat, so the humans wouldn't be too suspicious of them.

Sesshomaru thought back to Rin and remembered he needed to call his children to see how they were doing. He imagined that like him, they wouldn't have a lot to say or at least his son wouldn't whereas his daughter had a lot to say about a lot of things. She reminded him of his lost love Rin, he smiled despite himself. It didn't take long for Koga to finish cooking and bring call Sesshomaru into the dining room, and kitchen, to eat. Koga grinned at him when he entered, which gave the other pause before he joined Koga. He wondered if the other might have forgotten what exactly happened between them.

"I know I ran out really quickly," Koga began. "It was only because I had interview a potential employee, Mrs. Higurashi who was here a moment ago."

"Kagome?" Sesshomaru asked. "So you hired her?"

"I did," Koga replied. "She has the qualifications all she needs is the experience under her belt."

"I see," Sesshomaru answered halfheartedly, lost in his own thoughts. He wondered briefly why Kagome applied to Koga's firm. He may not have known her very well but he doubted her archery skill was a talent worthy of a job in the modern society.

"You may not know this but she often went back to her own time to continue her studies," Koga prattled on. This statement snapped Sesshomaru back to the present.

"Sounds like she was very dedicated to her own time as well as the fuedal era then," Sesshomaru stated.

"Yeah she was, back then I wanted to make her my woman," Koga laughed. "I was headstrong and wouldn't take no for an answer. I just wish I had known then what I know now about courtship, maybe she would have considered me as a mate and dumped Inuyasha." Sesshomaru frowned.

"And yet she never looked back," Sesshomaru replied looking at Koga's reaction. The wolf's face darkened a bit as he had remembered their conversation only days ago.

"Forgive me," Koga apologized. Sesshomaru shrugged, his brother's death was a long time ago and he had taken enough time to grieve for the loss of his brother. Despite only being half, the hanyou had somehow gotten Sesshomaru to care about his well being. Was it truly because they were brother's? Sesshomaru didn't know but he had grieved when Inuyasha died so long ago.

*intercept's* hey guys before I go too much further should I keep this as a sess/koga or change it to a bit of a threeway? Just curious as some of you may have known already I hadn't planned this to be a sess/koga things just happened one thing led to another and now Koga and Sesshomaru had done stuff… I think I was just aching for a lemon at that time because well.. I was young and single and basically on FIRE! But anyway how you guys want this story? And should I make a story with Kagome and Sesshomaru or Kagome and Koga? It's all up to you guys I want to appease my fans after all. If I don't get a response I will just let this story run itself to it's finale! And you guys will just be in for the ride that is if anyone still reads this lol I can only hope hehe!
