Chapter 28: Just a typical day

Izuku was late!

Not exactly late, but he missed the first train (entirely Cotton's fault. He knew it wasn't a good idea to let the Dream Eater convince him to make pancakes). Katsuki even sent him an angry message saying he was going ahead, which was pretty mean but understandable.

Now here he was, running out of the station like a man possessed, his scarf snapping with the wind. Izuku wasn't using his quirk, but he may or may not have used a little Focus.

"I still need to teach Eri how to Focus." He mumbled under his breath, "Maybe after Flowmotion? But we need space for that while she can train Focus on our room. Argh! I'll think about it later!"

"Think about what later?"

Izuku answered Shoto, "Eri's lessons grid." The key bearer did a double take, "Wait, Shoto?! Where did you come from?" He asked the bichromatic boy, who was doing his best to keep up with Izuku's fast pace.

Shoto blinked, "From my home?"

"I mean- never mind! How have things been for you?"

"Nice. Weird, but nice." The boy blinked, "Which is turning to be the default state of things when you're involved."

Izuku smiled, "I'll take that as a compliment!"

Shoto nodded, meaning it as one. "After that day in the hospital, my father decided to bring my mother back home. At first, the hospital staff didn't want to, but he didn't take no as an answer." He hummed, "I think it was the first time we all agreed with him on something."

They passed the school gates, rushing to the building in hopes of getting there in time.

"Mamaroki is living with you guys now?"

Shoto nodded, "Yes. It has been an adjustment, but I'm glad she's with us now."

Izuku laughed, "Me too! I'll have to visit her later." He blinked, "Actually, maybe I can bring my mom too? I think they would get along."

Shoto imagined the scene, only for his mind to blank at how wholesome it would be, "I don't know if I should be scared or happy."

"Yes!" Was Izuku's simple response. The boy chuckled, "It's like Jack said, a good scare can be fun too."

The youngest Todoroki blinked, trying to remember who that was, "The pirate?"

"No, the skeleton."

"Oh." Shoto nodded, remembering his friend's journal entries about the Pumpkin King and his town, "Did you have any other visions lately?"

Izuku's good mood instantly vanished. The boy buried how his smile turned into a grimace of clenched teeth in his scarf, "Yeah." He turned his eyes aside, the orbs glowing a radioactive green with barely contained anger, "I did."

"Was it that bad?" Shoto wasn't the best when the subject was empathy, but he knew Izuku. The boy would smile and laugh even when blown sky-high, so a mood shift like that was worrying.

"Shoto, let me tell you one thing. If you thought that your dad was bad, then you would have been disgusted by Xemnas." Izuku almost growled the name out, "I know I am."

Shoto frowned. He didn't like seeing his friend like that, "Do you want to talk about it?" He offered. That was what people did to help others feel better, right?

"Later. Now we have to hurry." Izuku picked up the other boy, then picked up the pace. Shoto didn't even comment about being manhandled and then carried away like a sack of potatoes, already used to Izuku's…how did Natsuo call it? Chaos gremlin-ness? Yeah, that sounded right.

Izuku bolted to the entrance of the building, pinballing on the walls and through the hallways. The boy had just turned a corner when he had to stop midair with Float, "Tenya?"

"Izuku, you shouldn't fly in the hallways!" The speedster berated him, chopping the air, "And put Shoto down."

The boys returned to ground level, Izuku putting Shoto back on his feet and helping him pat his uniform back into place, "Sorry." The Keyblade Master adjusted his scarf, "We were running late."

"Oh, don't worry. Aizawa-sensei just sent me to inform the others he will start class a little later today. He seems to be preparing something different for the day's lessons." Tenya held his chin, thinking, "I think it is probably your fault."

Izuku and Shoto nodded, "I betcha." The key bearer slumped down, "I run so much for nothing." He perked back up, "Oh well, at least I got to meet you guys along the way! Also, how's your brother doing, Tenya?"

The trio started to make their way to their classroom at a brisk pace. Tenya gave a relieved smile, "Great! After your quick escape from the hospital, he went through a battery of tests that gave Tensei a perfect bill of health. Even his old injuries were completely healed."

"That's why Eri is the best. My little genius always outdoes herself." Izuku once again sounded like a proud parent, earning a snicker from Nana. "He's gonna go back to the job soon?"

At Izuku's question, Tenya gained a complicated look on his face, "Yes and no."

Not noticing Izuku's apprehensive frown, Shoto asked bluntly, "Isn't he healed?"

Tenya nodded, "Yes, and Tensei said he would go back to work soon, but…." He trailed off, needing a moment and a deep breath, "My brother had time to think, and he saw just how many people depend on him not as a hero but as a leader. There are dozens of sidekicks under his agency, our family, and the community. All those people who look up to him don't need him on the streets, or that's what Tensei said." Tenya stared into the distance, "My brother wishes to take only an administrative role from now on, assuring all those people will have their needs cared for."

Shoto hummed, "That's kinda heroic in its own way."

Izuku nodded rapidly, "Yeah! And it's not like there won't be an Ingenium speeding through the streets, right, Tenya?"

The speedster smiled sincerely, "You're more than right. Tensei made clear that I already accepted the family legacy when I called myself Ingenium, and now I have to live up to it." He chopped his hand, determined to do just that, "Tensei will take care of things for now, but when I graduate, it will be my responsibility to be the hero he knows I can be."

Izuku opened a smile so brilliant it almost blinded his friends, "That's the spirit! We all know that you can be great, so let's all become the best heroes we can be!"

Shoto nodded, a new light on his eyes burning as bright as the one in his heart, "The three of us have legacies to live up to, so let's do it together."

Tenya bowed his head, thanking his lucky stars once more for having such good friends. The Light in his chest heaved up into high gear, "You two are absolutely right! Gone are the days of recklessly letting my anger guide my actions. Now, I have to ensure to be a great hero worthy to stand by your side."

Izuku chuckled. The boy clapped his friends' shoulders, "Don't worry about that. If there's one thing I'm sure of, it's that you two are worthy."

The Keyblade Master's words set the two other boys' hearts ablaze. They knew Izuku had complete faith in them. In their hearts, they promised to live up to that faith.

"C'mon, the classroom is right there." Izuku pointed at the door of their class. The trio had covered the distance to it during the conversation.

"Do you think someone will comment about Hosu?" Shoto asked. His answer was the whole class collective stare sent their way when Izuku opened the door.

Mina stood up sharply, making her chair clang from being thrown back, "Firstly! Nice scarf, Midori."

"Thanks!"

"Secondly!" She started, only for Denki to finish for her.

"What the actual hell?!" The pink girl nodded along his high-pitched yell, "Dude, can't you go one week without a city-wide disaster? You fought a bazillion Heartless! And you shouted at a serial killer! On the same fucking day!"

Izuku raised his finger, "In my defense, he was being mean to Tenya." He pointed at the boy.

Momo sighed, "That's such an 'Izuku' thing to do that we can't even be mad." The class thought for a second before nodding along her words. The vice representative clapped her hands, "Even then, please refrain from fighting mass murderers, Izuku."

"In my defense, again, Shoto did it too." He pointed at the other boy.

Katsuki rolled his eyes, "Half-n-half gets a pass. He only did it to save your asses."

"Hey!" Izuku pouted, "I had everything under control." His whining only earned the boy deadpans from his friends. "At least on the first fight." The key bearer admitted quietly.

"Deku, no." Ochaco's flat voice matched her blank face.

"But-"

"No buts!"

Izuku pouted again, "Fine. Now enough of that." He turned to the class, "What did you guys do on your internships?"

"Yes, it will be enlightening to share experiences!" Tenya jumped at the chance to change the subject.

"Nothing much, really." Denki shrugged, letting the topic drop easily, "I surfed on some power grids, stopped a car robbery, and powered a hospital on an emergency." He scratched the back of his head and commented absentmindedly, "Still don't know why the generators didn't turn on."

"I got in the middle of a gunfight, took down a gang, and cleaned up a whole city of litter with my bro Tetsutetsu!" Eijiro grinned, "It was super manly!"

"Ei! Don't get shot!" Mina snapped at him.

"Don't worry, it was only a machine gun."

"Ei!" The girl huffed. She had to admit that with their class track record, she shouldn't be surprised, "Fine. I took down some crooks, helped on a rescue operation when a truck went cartwheeling down a hill, oh, and I learned that collateral damage paperwork is hell." The normally bubbly girl gained a thousand-yards stare, then shivered.

"I agree." Fumikage sipped his coffee, the paper cup already half empty. "In my time with Hawks, I stopped twenty-seven robberies, performed nineteen rescues, three car chases-" He was interrupted by a beak-cracking yawn, "And one autograph section. The most dreadful part was the reports needed after all those activities." He finished his cup with a big gulp.

Tsuyu patted his back in sympathy. "I helped take down an international pirate crew after they stole the cargo of a boat and trapped our captain." She tilted her head to the side, "I also learned how to navigate from Selky, but the boat stuff is a little confusing still."

Izuku perked up, "I can help with that if you want."

The frog girl nodded, "Sure."

"I don't think I did much, seeing all your exploits." Momo's head dropped, "I only participated in a commercial."

Mina instantly snapped her head, glaring at the girl, "Yamomo, shush."

"What?"

"Shush!" The pink girl put a threatening finger on her friend's face, "You looked drop-dead gorgeous in that. Right?!" She glared at the rest of the class, who didn't have any problem nodding in agreement.

Momo blushed, but even then, a smile adorned her lips, "Thanks, everyone."

The students continued to recount their experiences from the week on the field, none noticing how every single one of them faced things that a first-year student probably shouldn't. Unfortunately, depending on who you asked, they all got used to the insanity and chaos Izuku's existence attracted and thought things like that were completely normal.

"Wait a second." Izuku made a head count, "Where's-" His question was interrupted. Izuku was pulled to the front of the class by his scarf, seemingly by an invisible force.

"Izuku, help me with my big reveal." A voice came from the empty space beside him. The boy nodded and smiled, hearing the plan and deciding to go along.

On the teacher podium, a floating uniform blinked into view, "Guys!" Toru grabbed the class' attention, "I am here today to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!" She bowed.

Shoto shot Tenya a glance, receiving a shrug. He turned to Izuku, only to see he wasn't there. The green-haired boy was also in the front of the class, fidgeting with something that looked like an eight-sided crystal.

"Thanks to you guys, I got the chance to learn a lot about my quirk, and I'll be honest. I kinda hated it. Never having the chance to look at yourself in the mirror starts to get at you after some time, but thanks to you all, and especially our favorite little menace of a class president, I now can." As her words dropped, the whole class had a collective record-scratch.

"Wait, what?!"

"Yes! I'm here to show you all that I'm adorable! Izuku hit me!" She shouted over her shoulder.

Izuku grinned and waved his Keyblade, "Spark!" A row of prismatic crystals appeared along the floor in a roll and shone rays of multicolored light at the girl.

Toru opened her arms, letting the light hit her, and using the new control of her quirk to make her big debut with all the fanfare she deserved. The light was refracted from her form, bathing the whole room in a brilliant aurora. When it subsided, there was Toru, now clear for all to see.

The girl had a round and soft face, her round eyes full of joy that was magnified by how her irises still glowed with all colors of the spectrum. Her shoulder-length wavy hair glowed much the same, with each of the wild locks shining a different tone. The girl winked, her long eyelashes literally sparkling, "So, what do you guys think?"

In a second, Mina was up and glomping her best friend, her squee reaching a frequency that hurt the sensitive ears of some, but they couldn't fault her. "Girl, you're beautiful!"

"I know!" Toru hugged the girl back, and both started to hop in place, the tears escaping from her eyes glowing like gems. "Izuku had the idea, and then it started to work, and now everyone can see me!" Her voice got wet halfway, but that only made her joy more apparent.

Izuku, also crying without fear, joined in the pile of happiness. The three rays of sunshine hopped in a circle. He looked over his shoulder, "1-A, group hug!" He didn't need to say it twice. Their friends rushed at them in a second, and the class ended in one big pile of joy.

"Not happening." The only one not to partake in it was Katsuki.

Izuku stared him dead in the eyes, "I wasn't asking." He summoned his Keyblade, used One For All to form another chain construct, and with a snap, the boy lassoed Katsuki.

"Shit!" That was all the bomber could say before being dragged directly into the center of the pile with Izuku, Mina, and Toru. Katsuki huffed, "Y'know what? Fuck it." He hugged the three dorks.

That was the scene Aizawa saw when he opened the classroom door. The man stared at the pile of students with a deadpan for a long second, then closed the door.

"Nope." He gave them exactly a minute, waiting outside the room and regretting all his life choices. When Aizawa opened the door again, all the teens were in their places, and the crystals producing the light show were gone.

The man stalked into the room, looking done. He reached the teacher's podium and saw that Toru still had tears on her face, a face he could now see. Aizawa had received a report from the hero she had interned under and knew the girl could now turn visible, so while not surprised much, he could at least admit to himself he was happy for her.

Toru cleaned the last of her tears and used a hand to comb her now light green hair back. She could switch the color at will, even if some were still harder than others, but green was quickly becoming her favorite color.

"I don't care. I saw nothing." The hero sighed, "Are we clear, Problem Child."

"Aye aye!" Izuku raised his hand, not bothered at all by the way his teacher liked to refer to him.

"Don't pull a stunt like that again." Aizawa was understandably angry at how his students fought a mass murderer in the middle of a warzone full of monsters.

"I'll do my best!" Izuku grinned, not even trying to look ashamed.

Aizawa sighed and held the bridge of his nose. Remembering that the rat would reenroll Izuku instantly was the only reason the man didn't expel him on the spot. At least, that was what he told himself.

"Did any of you also do something illogical, almost suicidal, and borderline illegal like that?" He asked the class, deadpanning when Koji shily raised his hand, "Put that hand down, Koda." The boy did so.

Aizawa was done, "If you think that sanity and self-preservation aren't worth your time, then fine. Suit up. You will have a special sequence of tests with me on the USJ." The man grinned and inwardly laughed as the children shivered, "If you want to go Plus Ultra, then we will go Plus Ultra."

Inko was panicking. Understandably so, as she had just one of the most unexpected experiences of her life. To make matters worse, her best friend she loved with all her heart was laughing at her.

"Mitsuki! This isn't funny!"

"Yes, it is!" The blonde was sounding closer and closer to a hyena. "Inko, it's a date, not the end of the world."

"But I never went on a date before!"

Mitsuki rolled her eyes. Inko, her cinnamon roll of sunshine and anxiety, had called her in tears ten minutes ago and frantically said she needed Mitsuki there ASAP. The blonde rushed to the Midoriya residence and literally kicked the door down (thank goodness Eri fixed that), asking who did she need to kill.

After Inko had explained that Toshinori, the guy that helped Izuku, her other cinnamon roll of sunshine, to get built like a shit brick house, asked her out. Mitsuki then summoned her best friend rights to laugh at Inko's panic.

Now there they were, seated on the couch, talking while Eri was doing something on the carpet in front of them. Something involving a lot of crayons and some crystals. Mitsuki wouldn't pretend she understood, but nothing was on fire, so it was okay.

The blonde pulled Inko into a one-armed hug, "Sweetheart, breathe. It's important, so keep breathing." The shorter woman did so, "Good, now stop making a fuss over nothing. You, miss, are a ray of sunshine, and I would murder someone for you. If that guy asked you out and you said yes, then go for it. If he hurts you, no one will find his body."

"But-"

"No buts!" Mitsuki patted the head of her pile of anxiety of a best friend, "Do you like him, or did you just say yes because you're freaking out?"

"Both?" Inko didn't meet Mitsuki's eyes, so she didn't see the other woman's award-worthy eyeroll.

"Of course. So, you're interested?"

Inko sighed, knowing she would have to spill the beans, "Yes. Toshi is just so nice, and supportive, and dorky, and-" She cut herself off, noticing Mitsuki's grin had become dangerously wide.

"You, my dear friend, are head over heels by the skeleton guy, aren't you?"

Inko pouted, "Toshi is getting better. He was just recovering from an injury."

Mitsuki huffed, "She even has a pet name for him. Also, I can believe you if he helped you get back like that." She gestured at Inko's form, "Damn, girl. I bet you can get back on your handmaiden dress again. Urgh! I worked so hard to make that on time for your wedding and mine."

Inko blushed. She had tried, and surprisingly, it had fitted. Inko had stopped stress-eating after Izuku had started to go out more, seeing how happy he had become, but with Toshi's help and some physical conditioning, she had shaved off some weight.

Some of the magic thingies Izuku made probably helped, but she liked to think most of it came from her efforts.

Now Inko was still on the small side of the spectrum (she was one-sixty, even Izuku was taller than her), but now that she had been taking better care of herself, she looked okay, in her opinion, and her weight did agree with her height.

Mitsuki could almost hear her friend's line of thought. And fucking hell, Inko looked like she did went they were out of college, they both did, and she was just a small, beautiful, and precious thing that Mitsuki said time and again she would kill someone for. Mitsuki was happy someone nice finally understood Inko was an angel, that they made her happy, and that they appreciated her.

She would still leave his body for the vultures if he did anything funny though.

"Inko, you know I could laugh at your panic the whole day, and I probably will when I get back home, but right now, I'll kick your butt into shape for a date. Even if it's the last thing I do." Mitsuki had one heaven-bound duty as Inko's best friend, and it was making this tiny bundle of love ready to knock Toshinori's socks off.

Also, it would be funny as fuck.

Eri looked up from her experiment to the women. She didn't get why her mom was freaking out. She also didn't get why Toshi was freaking out when he left or why Aunty Mitsuki was cackling under her breath.

Toshi liked her mom, and her mom liked Toshi. What was the big deal?

She shook her head and went back to her work. Eri was trying to make another supplement of magic sugar with her quirk to help Inko and Toshi on their runs, the last batch made them younger for some reason, but no one noticed, so Eri stayed quiet.

It was only ten years. There's no way they would figure it out, right?

Izuku finished adjusting his scarf over his mouthpiece and smiled, "Everybody ready?"

"Just a sec!" Hanta shouted from the other end of the dressing room, putting the new support piece he got from Izuku and Mei's upgrade rampage. It was a pair of elbow pieces/armor/motors/a-ton-of-stuff that did, and Hanta would die on that hill, "everything but fries", and the jury was still out on that. They looked like one of those leave-blower motors in the colors of his costume and were fixated over his elbows, if Hanta could get them to stay in place, that is.

"Want a little help?" At Izuku's side, Mezo offered, fumbling with his gloves for a second, not used to them. They were simple dark blue "leather" fingerless gloves that went to his forearms halfway, with the weird ability to change shape along said arms. How? Magic, or at least that's what it came written on the manual.

"Sure." Mezo's three extra pairs of hands made putting the equipment on easy.

"Anyone else?" Izuku asked the rest.

"Can you give me a hand?" Koji raised his hand, trying to fix his own mouthpiece. It had a fine mesh net on the front and tiny speakers on the side, which would help him command more animals by amplifying his voice and not letting it be drowned in the middle of a fight. The gentle giant liked it, but he had some trouble with the straps on the back.

"Of course." Izuku Floated over and helped his friend, "I'll make a note to use buckle straps on the next version."

"Thanks."

"Mon ami, if it's no bother, could you do the same for me? I quite like my new belt, but it is a tad hard to put it on." Yuga commented from their side. His new belt was like the old one, but with some upgrades to refract, focus, and more. All quite useful, but the new straps were a little awkward.

"Leave it to me!" Izuku nodded, "I also can use the chance to switch your lens for an Orichalcum one." At least something good came from the Hosu Crisis.

After that, the boys left the changing room and rushed outside. There, already waiting on the bus, were the 1-A girls.

"What took you guys so long?" Toru complained.

"Hey, not everyone has easy-to-put equipment, ya know?" Denki whined, having to carry his bat in his hand. The back case thingy was cool, but he couldn't lean on the benches with it.

"Stop complaining, Charge Dolt." Kyoka rolled her eyes, also having to carry her new katana. She would have poked the blonde with her jacks, but they were already plugged into her new earrings/amplifiers/ice picks/how-did-Green-fit-so-much-stuff-in-it?! They looked like those ball speakers but ended on a pick point, in a mix of purples and black that looked nice. They also could penetrate a tank's shell, but they all knew Izuku would be extra like that.

"You have most of your support items as clothing articles." Momo pointed out, "There's no reason for you to take that long to get ready."

"Oh, look who's talking." Denki pouted, but he had a point. Momo only had her new unitard, similar to a gymnast's one, and a cloak.

After Izuku convinced Momo that he could make her something that would let her use her quirk without sacrificing much protection, he grabbed all the Lucid materials he had and made her new costume. Unfortunately, Izuku didn't have enough for a full suit, but he at least had enough spare Mythril for a cloak, which ended up yellow for some reason.

"Stop crying, Pikachu!" Katsuki slapped the back of Denki's head.

"As we're speaking of our new costumes." Tsuyu ribbited, "Izuchan, how do I take this off?" She pointed at her tongue, where a metal band was clapped shut. It was useful, as it produced a thin forcefield to protect her tongue from getting hurt, but it also didn't let her taste anything. Tsuyu didn't know how to get it off, and that was starting to bother her.

"Oh, just-" Izuku held the band and showed the girl where to press. Both the clasps on the sides made a click sound, and the band opened.

"Thanks." She pocketed the item for later, knowing it probably would be necessary for their "surprise training" and whatnot.

"Anyone else has any comment on the new costumes?" Izuku already had his notebook out.

"Just one." Katsuki pointed at his gauntlet, "How the actual fuck did you make this shit smell like mint even after I sweated an artillery salvo in it?"

Izuku blinked, "Magic."

"Fuck you, Deku!"

The rest of the class laughed at the boys' antics. Not long after, they reached the USJ. There, Aizawa didn't wait for a second to throw them into the thick of it.

"Ready?"

"Ready!"

"Let's go!"

Izuku and Tenya powered up their quirks and started to run, holding a Hardened Eijiro like a battering ram. The trio blew through multiple walls, a couple of fences, and an upside-down truck of the Conflagration Zone, literally too fast to get burned.

With the way clear, they could transport the mannequins that were the "disaster victims" they needed to save.

"Slow down!" Kyoka yelped. Why did she let Green convince her that a piggyback would be faster than running by herself? It probably was, but holy crap.

The girl held on for dear life as Izuku landed on the spot Kyoka had indicated earlier, almost in the middle of the Moutain Zone. They were both clad in the boy's quirk, with the aura becoming a deep violet on her.

"Sorry, usually people don't realize how fast I go." Izuku chuckled, "And that was before I managed twenty percent."

Kyoka groaned, "I dread the day you go Plus Ultra." She took a deep breath and sent her jack into the ground. With the buff she was getting and trying really hard not to get lost in the feeling of power flooding her every cell, she could focus her hearing on listening to her classmates' heartbeats in other zones. She tried to narrow down the scope and got an idea of where the objective was.

"There!" Kyoka used her other jack to point to a cliff wall while the other unburied itself from the floor. In a blink, Izuku crossed the distance and crashed into the wall, impaling his arms and legs to hold himself in place.

"Oops. I need to be careful not to overload the Flowmotion part of Full Cowling, or I'll start to break stuff." Izuku muttered under his breath, but with how overcharged Kyoka was, it was as if he shouted in her ear.

The girl repeated the earlier performance, and now she found exactly what they were looking for, "There, under that boulder!"

Izuku snapped out of the wall, then honest-to-the-stars bunny hopped his way to where Kyoka had pointed. The boy grabbed the bolder and threw it straight up, grabbed the mannequin under it, and leaped away just before the boulder fell into the same place it had been before.

Izuku landed just at the zone's entrance and put his cargo down, with Kyoka practically melting off of him and landing on her behind. The boy kneeled beside her and asked, more than a little worried, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. It's just…" Kyoka trailed off, still coming in terms of how Izuku's quirk felt like someone encased her into a warm blanket, hugged her, then said to go out there and take over the world by storm, "I just need to get used to how being a human being and not a force of nature feels."

Izuku nodded, "Yeah, that's always a doozy."

"Peppermint! How the fuck did you get up there?!" Katsuki yelled at Shoto, who had somehow ended up on top of a crane of the Landslide Zone while they weren't looking.

"He was here a second ago." Dark Shadow scratched his head. He could swear Shoto had been just behind them.

"Revelry in the dark." Fumikage honestly didn't know what else he could say.

"Get down, you fuck!"

Shoto didn't answer back, only opening his arms wide and standing on the tip of the crane.

Izuku sighed, "I'll handle it." He aimed his arm and got ready to flick his finger.

"The idea is to grow my hair out and, hopefully with some braiding and quirk shenanigans, make it look like a grape lump," Minoru explained his idea to Izuku, who was flying beside him while using his quirk to bounce through the Earthquake Zone. How did U.A. get a way to make artificial and localized earthquakes was a question none of them knew, but as long as they kept away from the ground, everything would be fine.

"That could work!" Izuku grinned.

"You think so?" Minoru was glad his friend supported his idea.

"Yeah! With that, you can stock some of your hair orbs, and you could mislead enemies by mixing them with decoys! Your quirk works through your scalp, so we need to test if they would…" Izuku pulled his notebook somewhere along the way and started to talk faster and faster until he descended in one of his mumble storms.

The midget sighed, "And I lost him. Oh well." He shrugged and set another of his orbs in his slingshot.

"Nice cape." Tsuyu's comment was almost unhearable over the heavy rain of the Downpour Zone.

"Thanks!" Izuku yelled. The boy had activated his armor, seeing they would enter the zone famous for soaking students to the bone and often leaving them sick. It now had a different feature, thanks to his scarf, which fused with his old cape to circle his neck and flow down his back to the ground. The cloth was a bright golden marked by white flowing floral designs like the scarf's default state.

The green knight looked around, "I don't think we can carry all the mannequins in this rain."

Tsuyu nodded, thinking much the same. There were at least twenty of those, and leaving them behind in that weather was sure to mess with their grade, "Do you have a plan?"

Izuku glanced at one of the trucks parked on the street, "I have an idea."

"Izuchan, since when do you know how to drive?" Tsuyu and Izuku had put all their "cargo" on the truck before hopping on. Izuku had somehow started it with his Keyblade, and now the boy was happily driving back to the zone's entrance while humming a tune the girl didn't recognize.

Izuku turned to her and shrugged, "Dunno!"

They reached their destination, where the whole class, plus their teacher, were waiting and parked. The duo hopped down the truck and quickly unloaded it.

"Problem Child, since when did you know how to drive?" Aizawa asked with a dead-on-the-inside tone.

The boy dismissed his armor just so he could smile and shrug, "Dunno!"

The teacher only sighed and sent another team in. The green duo rejoined their friends, who were all staring at them flatly.

"Deku, where the hell did you learn how to drive?!" Katsuki pointed a menacing finger at his friend, "And don't you dare say 'dunno'!"

Izuku stopped, smirked, and shrugged, "Dunno!" The boy thanked the, frankly unnecessary, warning from Danger Sense while dodging a punch from the bomber. He laughed and ran, Katsuki following closely and shouting curses.

Yeah, it was just another typical day.

DONE! YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I know that this looks like a filler, but there were some plot points that feel inconsequential but will turn into 8D chess moves later. Why? Because I just can't help myself, hehehe.

But that's not important (for now), what is important is that Kingdom Hearts: Shattered Memories has a reaction fic now! Sleppt, DarkBeat, and I joined in to make the canon cast watch the CHAOS that is this fic.

Interested? Go give it a look then!
