From Heathen to Hero 8

Within being just mere miles away from Kauliphonria, Kazuma and Aqua had determination to finally cross the border no matter what stands before them.
"Hey Kazuma" said Aqua, "Yes I'm Kazuma" said Kazuma, "There's an ever growing piles of destroyed cars and dead demi-demons".
"Yeah, we should be ready for anything" said Kazuma as he continued to sped up but remained vigilant for any ancient demon that may appear, or when a car came flying towards him.
Swerving his car out of the way, Kazuma brought their vehicle towards a skidding halt and saw that standing before him and Aqua's way were not 1 but 3 ancient demons, with 2 of them surprisingly being within Aqua's and Kazuma's heights.
"Look what we got here boys, a dirty fucking human, and a putrid stinking fallen goddess" said one of the normal heighted ancient demons as he had long black metal hair, black denim jacket, sickly death like pale skin, and a look of pure hatred directed towards Kazuma more than Aqua.
"Excuse you but I am far from a fallen goddess, I am the goddess of water Aqua, and I advise you all leave before Kazuma here kills you" said Aqua as she rested her hand on him
"A yes, I'm well aware of this one's reputation, especially given he had the assistance of Satan's personal devils to slay 2 of our own" said the ancient demon.
"Hey Euronymous, think I can savor the 2 of them before we get to kill them" said the only other normal height ancient demon as he gave a predatory gaze on both Aqua and Kazuma as his lower half was that of a hairy goat, he had a hairy chiseled chest, and large twirling goat horns as he had a pan flute around his neck.
"You can fuck their corpses for all I care Pan, so long as they end up dead" said Euronymous as the giant ancient demon behind them let out a bellowing growl.
"I should mention that our big guy behind me is Emm-o, and boy does he have a bone to pick you both given how you both were indirectly responsible for the death of Kali" said Euronymous as his hands began to catch on fire with black flames, but just as it seemed they were going out of control, they were quickly extinguish.
In his hands was what could be described as a hellish looking guitar as it was both bleeding and set on fire, but what really scared the duo was that he had the neck and head to appear looking like a the end barrel to an assault rifle that was pointed at them.
"Hey Aqua, stay behind me and out of harm's way, I'll finish things from here" Kazuma said confidently as he began to unholster his model 79 grenade launcher.
Enhancing it with the powers blessed upon to him by Beeqok, he surprised the ancient demons when he caused a giant smoke cloud.
"What the fuck" coughed Pan, "Emma-o, do something about this smoke" coughed Euronymous.
Doing as requested, Emma-o let exhaled a large blow of wind to reveal that Kazuma had took out Hitler's Buzzsaw from the trunk and began to lay waste a hail storm of bullets on to the giant ancient demon.
Unable to protect himself from the relentless attack from Kazuma, Emm-o surprised his fellow ancient demons when he fell to his death from the explosive enhance bullets.
Seeing the proud smirk on Kazuma's face had left Euronymous a new sense of rage as he aim his guitar rifle towards him but was caught off guard when Aqua had fired her A.J.M. 9 pistol at the ancient demon as he began to back away.
"Pan, play on the fucking flute of yours and get us situated here" barked Euronymous, "It's a pan and you know it" said Pan as he regardless began to play a tune that put up a force field for the 2 of them.
"I figured it would've been too good to be true that this fight would be easy" said Kazuma as he kicked aside the empty LMG as he got off and pulled out the gold plated Deagle he had rightfully earned after killing Cynthia.
"Aqua, do your thing" said Kazuma, "Don't have to tell me twice, God Blow" exclaimed Aqua as in one punch she was able to destroy Pan's force field.
"What the fuck" said Euronymous in disbelief as he had witnessed Pan getting shot in the gut as he yelped in pain.
"And then there was one" said Kazuma as he was the one responsible for putting down Pan, "You little shit" said Euronymous as he began to point his guitar rifle at Kazuma, but he surprised him when Kazuma moved just fast enough to slam his gun in his nose, before yanking his weapon out of harm's way.
"I'm not out for the count yet" said Pan as he pulled out a metal flask and began to pour some of its contents on his wound, before he took a swig of it.
"Hey, if I can't be fighting drunk, you sure as hell won't get that luxury either" said Aqua in jealousy as she began to continue lying down fire against Pan.
And just like the many times Kazuma had warned her, being drunk on the battle field was never a good idea, given how Pan didn't put much of a fight as he lied dead with a body riddled with bullet holes.
As for Kazuma and Euronymous, both somehow managed to resort fighting with their fists, and even in spite of being blessed by the powers given to him by Scex Pistal, Kazuma was on the receiving end.
"Not so tough are you, you fucking human" said Euronymous with venom as he locked his arm over Kazuma's and used his free hand to grip Kazuma's face and slammed Kazuma to the ground.
"Get off of him" exclaimed Aqua as she aimed her pistol at the ancient demon, but Euronymous removed Kazuma's knife from its sheath and had it pressed on his neck.
"Try me you soon to be fallen goddess, and witness me in slaying one more fucking human in this once great pit for the dead and damned" said Euronymous as he began to press the blade against Kazuma's neck that he began to draw blood.
"Ok, I submit" said Aqua as she dropped her gun and had her hands up, as Euronymous smirked in satisfaction, "So the rumors of you being dumber than dirt appear to be true" said Euronymous as he revealed how he had no intention of ever letting Kazuma live as he began to lift his knife over head.
Just as he was bringing down his knife into Kazuma's head, he was stopped when what appeared to be a kunai with a long chain going through his arm as everyone turned their head to see the one responsible for intervening.
Like many of the other devils of Satan, it was a man with red skin and horns, but what made him stood out was his long black hair which he kept part of it in top knot, his ronin style facial hair, the long adjacent scar going down his right eye, and just narrowly passing the corner of his mouth.
But what definitely stood out as much as his weapon and facial appearance was his red on grey feudal style yukata as he stood a firm stance as he glared down at Euronymous.
"Get over here!" yelled the devil as he pulled back Euronymous with one Yank as he came flying back and a good distance away from Kazuma and Aqua.
"You can both sit this one out, I'll finish thing from here" said the devil as he slowly approached Euronymous as he got up from the floor, holding his knife.
"Of course you had to make an appearance, Toestee Sgorbion" said Euronymous with equal hate and disdain, "That's the Devil of Wrath to you and your kind" said Toestee.
"You've got some fucking big balls for speaking to me like that" said Euronymous, "And you and your kind have some nerve thinking you can continue your pursuit in attempting to hunt these 2 down without thinking we won't be here to aid them" said Toestee.
"And we will continue to do so, even if we have to crawl into that false devils palace and kill anyone and everyone else that gets in our way" said Euronymous as Toestee stare him down.
"Just try" said Toestee as he threw his kunai at Euronymous again as it went through his chest before Toestee went and chain whipped his weapon as he infused it with fire, causing the ancient demon to finally explode.
"He was all bark and his bite was duller than a butter knife" said Toestee as he turned to address Kazuma and Aqua.
"So you're another one of Satan's devil's" asked Kazuma, "Indeed, allow me to introduce myself as the Devil of Wrath, Toestee Sgorbion" said Toestee with a bow.
"Also may I say that for you being able to not only stand up and kill 2 ancient demons by yourselves is indeed quite the impressive feat" said Toestee, "Well it shouldn't be a surprise given how Kazuma is blessed to be in the accompanied presence of a goddess such as I" said Aqua proudly.
"Seriously, can't you show some humility for a minute when introducing us to new people" said Kazuma as he was finding her haughty attitude to be overbearing given how these devils know them, but they don't.
"Now look here, if they're going to be revering and defensive for Satan, than it's only fair that I be given the same treatment as well" said Aqua, "God you're such an attention whore" said Kazuma as both continued their lover's quarrel.
As this continued on, one more devil appeared next to Toestee, who just so happened to be the only other female devil among them.
Being more on the thicc side, she was wearing a plane white t-shirt, black joggers, her hair long and kept in dreads as it was died between a mixture of pink and violet as she was looking at her smart phone and drinking her cherry vanilla flavored slurpee.
"Sup Toestee, what I missed" she said nonchalantly, "Phreggle, you're late" said Toestee with a grimace, "To what again".
Looking up from her smart phone, she saw that Kazuma and Aqua continued to argue as her lips began to purse.
"Oh, why didn't you say we were going to see these 2" said Phreggle, "I did, but you had your headphones on and were gorging yourself with those mini powder donuts and corndogs" said Toestee as he had tick mark over his head.
"Dude, I was watching Viva La Bam" said Phreggle, "You can watch that show whenever you want" said Toestee as he began to raise his voice.
"Hey, cool your coals man" said Phreggle as they 2 were about to get in an argument before Kazuma and Aqua stopped to stare at her.
"Hold on, who are you" asked Aqua pointing at her, "Oh hey, I'm the Devil of Gluttony, names Phreggle Barreegah" said Phreggle nonchalantly as she went back to sipping her slurpee.
"Well now that we're all introduced, let's set this hero here with our power and hurry back, the just opened a new bar and BBQ that I want to find out" said Phreggle.
"Sigh, would it kill you to show this much enthusiasm and initiative when it comes down to work" said Toestee, "Would it kill you to treat a girl out to some either ice cream or hot chocolate" said Phreggle with extra sass.
"Oh alright, Kazuma step forward" said Toestee as he began to pull out a pendant from within his person.
"By the powers vested upon me, as the Devil of Wrath, I hereby grant this man a portion of my power, may it serve him well" said Toestee as he went and placed it over Kazuma.
"My turn, by the powers vested upon me, as the Devil of Gluttony, I hereby grant this man a portion of my power, may it serve him well" said Phreggle as she decided to give Kazuma an earring which was a first.
"Remember, unless you do swing that way, put this on your left ear" said Phreggle with a wink.
"Until then, we'll see you both in Vey Aria" said Toestee as he and Phreggle were turning tail and teleported out of sight.
Once they were gone, Aqua took the earring off of Kazuma's hand and began to put it on herself.
"Hold still while I get this on" said Aqua as Kazuma felt a light pinch before Aqua was finished, "Thank you" Kazuma said with a smile.
"No problem, now let's cross the border and face Satan already" said Aqua as she and Kazuma took a moment how he could now conjure fire in one hand, while his hand glowed pink in the other.
"Yeah, it's time to end this" said Kazuma as they got back in their car and drove off into the borders of the safest lands in all of hell, Kauliphonria.
Another chapter done, and posted after so long, you guys have no idea how much I've been wanting to publish and upload this chapter for the longest time, especially since I've been meaning to introduce Toestee, who if you guys can figure is heavily based on Scorpion from the MK series, who's not only my favorite character but whom I main as.
Other than that, thank you guys for your continued support, since I am determined to complete and finish this fic as I am with my other stories at some point down the line, just this is a slow period for me given the damn heat and/or humidity which really kills my mood.
