Yashiro tried his hardest, and was surprised by the combination of Izumi and Ryouta, and will continue to be surprised into this chapter too. He'll be able to use all five eventually. Hehe, seems like Itachi and Lee have a fun dynamic huh~? Yeah, he'll have Hanabi as his eventual student. He is trying to manipulate Ryouta into something for him, if it's a tool or something else. ShadowUzumaki55; Yeah, it's nice to bond with a few people~ Satsuki is yeah~ Fugaku's got some respect for him learning it as quick as he did yeah. Yeah, it's nice to see the two Uchiha doing that with Naruko. As Tobi said, he is quite cocky, and that will lead to his downfall in the end. Yup, he's helping train them two up, and yeah, they'll remain friendly rivals. He did yeah, Ryouta, and Izumi will show their skills and have shown some intelligent moves~ That's the team! He might be the Sensei, can't spoil that now. I'm sure they'd have a few things to say about it.
Silver crow; Thanks! The matter will be solved this chapter. Tobi isn't stupid, he'd cover his tracks, he did when he helped kill a bunch of Uchiha, among other things he's done. Yup, that's the team. I can't spoil about how they're going to join. Maybe he will meet her, I'll have to watch that movie again to see what her character is like, not seen that in a while haha. I can't spoil about Karin right now. Their Sensei, might be surprising, that's all I can say right now. He will be. Naurko could after the massacre. It's been somewhat stated, but will be gone into more detail as the story goes on about Fugaku's feelings. Shisui does believe that. Yeah, Naruko and Satsuki will have a few intriguing interactions, some different but emotionally still impacting like those from Naruto and Sasuke. Yeah, Itachi would win against Lee. Sugaru's part in the story, is going to be more than it was in the novel, that's all I can say about him. And yeah, Shisui's gonna take Ryouta out of the village at some point~ Tobi will be glad to see what's going to happen next. Fugaku is paying more attention to Satsuki here, and Hinata will join them soon. Yeah, he was testing to see their capabilities. Itachi will begin noticing. Ryouta and Izumi will showcase their different strengths, tactile movements. Yashiro wont be alive much longer. When Orochimaru shows up, I can't say what's going to happen, all I can say is that Ryouta wont back down from him. They could be sent to kill him. Ryouta will fight members of the Akatsuki, and which he might beat, I can't say just yet. Ryouta isn't trying to impress the people that don't like him, he said that he knew they'd not accept him whatever he did, but he'd live up to the Uchiha clan name, he's proud of being Uchiha. Well, when the massacre happens, things are going to get intense, that's all I can say about that. Izumi's fate, could be different than the manga/novel. He's Shisui's brother, so he'll excel in speed based combat. Haku will develop more ice based skills yeah. He could learn how to use it. She could learn it before canon, just need to think of some other bet for Tsunade. He could fight Kabuto during that time. As you said, I can't reveal much about if Satsuki leaves or not, but with Ryouta there, she will have a grounding force. Shisui might tell him how he got it. Thanks for the suggestions! He could help the sisters like that. With the old advisors...hehe, that's going to be interesting to see~ Ryou probably wont learn Chidori, but he might invent a Jutsu similar in power but some differences to it. Satsuki will probably have the hawks. He could meet Anko that way~ Yeah, maybe he could be familiar with them. Yeah, Karin could be like that.

Hanabi's gonna be a fun student for Ryouta to have, she could join the harem. He will learn Kenjutsu. He might learn seals from Jiraiya. Those are cool harem suggestions!
MDM11; Saving them huh, could make things quite fun~ All of them are pretty cool, he might have one of them Nature Transformations. If Tenten had that, it would make her an even better weapons specialist. Naruko could have that. I don't know about Sage Mode, but Rasenshuriken she could do. It did seem like that huh.
Skull Flame; He is a bit amused by Lee. He is yeah, he believes that he's doing what Fugaku wants, and to gain more power. She could do.

Guest 3; I understand, as Ryouta grows his views will become his own, this fight with Yashiro is also going to help develop his own path in life. Haha, he definitely wouldn't get much peace huh~? Yeah, we're gonna see Izumi and Ryouta working together to bring him down.
Lightwave; Haku will definitely be involved in Land of Waves, how she is, I can't spoil. But it will be different to how it was in the manga/anime. Sai could still do yeah. He is trying to help them yeah~ They did, Izumi and Ryouta are pretty good as a team together. I will be eventually.

Yashiro's schemes part two
Shisui had managed to finish his mission early, clearing out the bandits took less time than he had imagined, so he was coming back to the village.
Now he could surprise Ryouta, and spend some quality time with him, something that he rarely got to do due to how busy his life was as a Ninja.
A smile was plastered on his face, something Sugaru noticed.
"What's with the smile Shisui-san?"
Shisui's smile became brighter.
"Aah, Sugaru-san, I've got my little brother waiting for me. That's the reason I'm smiling."
Sugaru raised an eyebrow.
"I see...the mission, was successful."
Shisui tried to work him out.
Something didn't feel right.
Deep within his gut at least, that's how Shisui felt.
"Sugaru-san, if you don't mind me asking, you're of the Aburame clan, aren't you?"
Sugaru wore surprise.
"How did you..."
"I can see the chakra within you, and the bugs as well."
"Sharingan..."
"Right. You didn't have to hide it."
"I...was apart of the clan."
"Was?"
"Yes...it's why my voice is like this."
Shisui wore a sympathetic face.
"Aah, sorry, I didn't mean to bring up anything difficult for you."
"No...it is fine. That was...along time ago. I, am now an Anbu. A nameless Ninja. I use my...insects to speak for me, but it can be tiring."
"I see, well if you ever want to talk, I'd listen."
Sugaru didn't reveal anything on his face, but he felt...odd about Shisui.
He in turn couldn't work out Shisui who was trying to figure out Sugaru.
"I...thank you."
Shisui definitely felt that he was off.
But he couldn't quite place his finger on it.
"Anyway, lets move faster, I want to surprise Ryou."
"Understood."
Shisui and Sugaru picked up the pace.
Though Shisui could move faster, he couldn't leave his teammate behind.
But something else about Sugaru intrigued him.
He wasn't sure what it was...but, he felt different to all of the other Anbu he had worked with before.
Back with Ryouta and Izumi, they escaped into a small densely populated area with trees, having been able to get out of the Compound area, trying to run around Yashiro, knowing that a direct conflict wouldn't be the best thing they did, while also trying to find a special flower for Izumi to use if they came across Yashiro and no one was there to help them.
As they ran, Izumi and Ryouta both heard the sound of someone chasing them, so they ducked into a nearby bush, and kept their bodies still, and voices silenced, hoping that Yashiro would just go by, though Izumi knew with the Sharingan it might be difficult for them to hide for long.
Ryouta kept his mind racing, trying to think of anything to help them out.
But then he felt Izumi's hair brushing against him.
His eyes locked onto the hair, then onto the strands of hair she had, and formulated an idea.
Without speaking, Ryouta took her hair, and showed his kunai to Izumi.
Izumi looked back, and saw some paper bombs in his hand, and towards the hair.
Her lips curled upwards.
"I get what he wants to do. It's a pretty good idea. This is going to take us working together, Ryou-kun...lets take this bastard down."
Deciding that within her mind, the pair got to work...
Satsuki, who was on her way home, wondered why her Father had asked her to even get some of the items she had to collect, mainly household stuff such as bread, and other necessities, as far as she was aware, they had enough back at the house.
It just seemed like a waste of time for her.
However, as she got closer to the Compound, she noticed that there seemed to be a bright light coming from it.
Along with some smoke.
"W-What…?"
She became unsure of what was going on, so she began running forward, hoping that she'd find the source of what was going on.
She began running forward, trying to make sense of it all.
She was also surprised to not see any Konoha Ninja coming to check it out, though was unaware that some had tried, but Tobi had taken care of them while making sure his presence wasn't detected, so he could see what Ryouta was truly capable of.
Satsuki got to the Compound, and then looked towards the roaring flames.
She also heard an explosion coming from deeper into the Compound, so she rushed towards it.
She hoped it wasn't her parents, her brother, Ryouta, Shisui, or even Izumi.
"Come on, come on...don't be dead...come on..."
She ran as fast as she could, but when she arrived there, she couldn't see anyone.
She couldn't even see anyone on the streets, no one had come to investigate it.
She prayed that nothing was happening with anyone she cared about, and rushed towards a certain shrine to see if anyone there could help out.
Back with Izumi and Ryouta, Izumi suddenly felt a chill down her spine while they were preparing, her eyes turning to see that Yashiro was already on them, sword in hand, and readied the blade towards the young woman, so she tried to take out a kunai to defend, managing to block enough for him to be pushed backwards.
Ryouta didn't allow his fear to control him, he had already finished the hand signs, and gathering his chakra, before exhaling "Fire Release, Great Fireball Jutsu!" up close and personal, catching Yashiro's body up in the destructive flame attack, blasting him through a nearby tree which also had a paper bomb attached to it, causing it to erupt in a strong explosion.
Yashiro only managed to save himself by using his chakra and formed a flame wall around him with a Jutsu, but the explosion still did some damage, his injured legs became even more so, and he was bleeding rather harshly.
Ryouta felt a hit to his chakra.
Izumi placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Thanks Ryou-kun, now lets go!"
Ryouta nodded, and ran off together with Izumi, jumping up to a set of tree tops, and hopped across them.
Yashiro exhaled slowly, seeing that the attack had managed to burn his skin.
He felt it sizzling.
His leg felt as it was constantly on fire.
His body also was bleeding from the explosions.
"These fake Uchiha's...giving me this much trouble...they're injured me...now they'll be capable of fighting me...these explosions will alert others eventually, I need to hurry."
Tobi who was looking on, saw the injuries on Yashiro's body, and smirked under his mask.
"Those flames from his Jutsu are strong for his age…they managed to even burn your skin Yashiro, and with Izumi Uchiha, they have a very good chance of winning this. Izumi Uchiha herself, surprised me. I didn't think she was this capable, but she has good Sharingan eyes, maybe she could be useful in the future."
Tobi thought deeply, as he kept his lone eye on the situation before him.
Yashiro channelled his chakra through his body, readying his Jutsu.
"Fire Release, Great Fireball Jutsu!"
Suddenly, from behind them, a massive orb of fire was tossed towards then, so Ryouta with Izumi were forced to retreat, and the flames smashed through the tree, burning it out of existence, continuing to go for them.
The flames looked really dangerous, and they knew that a combination attack this time wasn't going to put it out, so all they could do was keep jumping and running away from the flames, and hope that the trees would slow down the rate the flames came for them.
And thankfully, after a few trees, the flames did begun to slow down and fizzle out eventually.
Ryouta looked towards the dying out flames, and saw Yashiro coming in.
"Izumi-chan, he'll be on us within a few seconds."
"Right, lets cut down some trees. Plant the paper bombs as well."
"Right."
Izumi and Ryouta clasped hands with one another, before pulling away.
The connected hands, now pulling away, revealed thin wire, and Izumi used chakra flow through them, turning them sharp enough to slice through objects easily, and by jumping down, they sliced right through a tree, forcing it to come down towards Yashiro.
Yashiro smirked, and dodged out of the way, only to see another tree coming down towards him, this time it had been set alight, by Izumi using some fire release Jutsu.
"As if this is going to work with me."
Yashiro used his own fire release Jutsu to smash his way through the falling tree, he saw Izumi and Ryouta continuing to make their escape, so he shot right for them, using his chakra to enhance his speed, jumping through the set of trees…
But suddenly he saw fire running through the air...then realized what it was.
It was Izumi's hair, and they were attached to several paper bombs scattered around with fire running down the strands of hair to the paper bombs.
"Shit...these kids..."
Yashiro's eyes widening as the flames hit the bombs, creating a huge explosion that Tobi was surprised at, and he was forced to use his own Jutsu to phase through the sheer size of the blast.
Tobi saw that it was a Shadow Clone that Yashiro sent out...
But the sheer size of the blast was enough to catch him up in it still, and he had serious burns across his body.
At the same time, Ryouta took out some shurikens, and tossed them, seemingly randomly, as far as Izumi could tell, she didn't know what he was up to.
Yashiro then made his move.
He locked onto Izumi and Ryouta, and charged forward wildly...
But as he did, Ryouta pulled the wire in his hand, which set off a trap for Yashiro, with thin wire surrounding the trees suddenly appeared, wrapping around Yashiro's limbs, apart from his right hand where he managed to move out of the way thanks to his Sharingan aiding him with its visual prowess, but the wire cut into his skin and kept him mostly bound.
Izumi now realized that the shurikens he threw before had wire on them, and he used them to set the trap, something she was quite impressed with.
Tobi was also impressed to see what Ryouta did.
"A trap within a trap. If the paper bombs failed, then he'd trap him with thin wire not easily detected. Not bad, Yashiro didn't expect that. This is what I wanted to see, his intelligence, and skills mixing together, I'm sure his parents would be proud to see him taking down Yashiro like this."
Tobi watched with curiosity at what else was going to happen.
Ryouta looked back to see he wasn't fully captured, and furrowed his brows.
"Didn't capture him..."
"But, it gave us enough time, lets go!"
Izumi and Ryouta pushed themselves harder, and dashed away at high speeds.
Meanwhile Shisui had managed to speed his way to the village, and casually hopped his way towards the Uchiha Compound, only to see as he got closer, the same smoke that Satsuki saw, his face turning to worry.
"Ryou..."
He didn't even waste time, activating his Body Flicker and increased his speed to insane levels.
Shooting from the village within a matter of a few seconds, Shisui got there, and activated his Sharingan, trying to see if he could find Ryouta, having memorized the colour of his chakra.
Using his speed, he ran through the Compound as fast as he could, until he came across some flames.
He could see a number of people passed out, a disturbance in their chakra.
Genjutsu clearly.
Whatever was happening, it was a clear assault, and Ryouta could be at the centre for all Shisui knew about it.
He could see the remnants of Ryouta's chakra, and Izumi's chakra.
"Their chakra was together...that means they're together...but, who's attacking them..."
Shisui continued looking to see if he could find any chakra of the enemy.
Scanning the area, he did eventually find some, and from the colour, he knew who it was, having also made sure to memorize the people that disliked Ryouta the most, knowing that Yashiro was the one that was attacking him.
"Shit...Ryou, Izumi-chan, don't worry. I'm coming."
Shisui didn't know which way they'd be going, but it didn't matter.
He'd find Ryouta and Izumi, no matter what.
As that happened, Itachi sat within a shrine, and listened to what his Father was saying. His eyes however kept going towards Yashiro, something about him didn't feel right.
It wasn't Yashiro exactly, and he wasn't sure what to make of it.
Though no one else was saying anything, so he chose to kept quiet.
However, as the meeting proceeded, the door suddenly was forced open with Satsuki coming in. Some Uchiha guards were behind her, and offered their apologizes to Fugaku, who looked on curiously.
"Satsuki, this meeting is important. What have you come here-"
"Dad! T-There's something going on in the Compound. It's on fire! And I can't find Ryou or Izumi-san either!"
Mikoto gave a concerned look, while Fugaku's face contorted.
Itachi's eyes broadened, his eyes going towards Yashiro.
Yashiro hadn't even made any kind of facial expression, either in denial or anything akin to that.
"Father, Yashiro is..."
Fugaku's eyes go towards Yashiro, who looked towards him.
Flaring his Sharingan, Fugaku overlooked him and peered into his eyes.
Fugaku then came to the realization on who this was...or rather, what it was.
"A Clone...so, it's a deception...but even then, I didn't have any idea...it seems that this Shadow Clone was trying its best to mask the fact it was a Shadow Clone."
Itachi stood up, and walked over to the clone.
"Where are you?"
"I wont tell you anything!"
Itachi didn't like that answer, so he used his Sharingan.
His eyes peered deeply into the eyes of the Yashiro clone, and began using Genjutsu Sharingan on him, and though Yashiro did have the Sharingan also, and could see through Genjutsu, Itachi's Genjutsu was stronger, and it caused him to be bound by what seemed to be iron rods across his body.
"Even though your Sharingan is matured, you never took the time to truly delve into the abilities of Genjutsu, and preferred fighting with power than Genjutsu."
"D-Damn..."
"Now tell me, what are your intentions?"
"A-As if I'll tell you..."
Yashiro clone growled out, trying to use his Sharingan to try and break Itachi's Genjutsu but was failing.
"I can make it so you can't escape my Genjutsu. Even if you break out of it, I'll put you in another one and another one. And it wont even dispel you as a clone either."
"S-Shit..."
He tried to take out a kunai to stab himself…
But Fugaku stopped him and disarmed him.
"Yashiro, it's over with now. Tell us, what are your intentions."
"F-Fugaku-sama, i-I only did this for you...to get rid of those burdens, Ryouta and Izumi Uchiha...to make your life better..."
Though no physical pain was happening, Itachi's Genjutsu made it feel like he was in physical pain.
"Izumi..."
Itachi murmured, and though tried to not show it, he was worried for both Izumi and Ryouta.
Satsuki didn't get that, looking towards her Father, who furrowed his brows.
"Father...d-do you really...hate Ryou that much…?"
"...No, I don't hate Ryouta to the extent that I'd want him dead. Yashiro did this without my knowledge Satsuki."
Satsuki wasn't sure what to believe.
She knew her Father had hated Ryouta in the past, and if he did try and have him killed…
She honestly wouldn't be surprised.
Itachi's eyes flared angrily…
But he didn't dispel the clone, knowing that if he did, then the real Yashiro would know what had happened.
"Detain this clone without dispelling it. Mikoto, I'll leave you in charge here." Fugaku ordered to his allies, and asked his wife who gave a single nod in agreement before turning to Itachi. "Itachi, come. We're going to go and find Ryouta, Izumi, and Yashiro."
"Yes."
With a single burst of speed, they left the area.
Satsuki went to follow, but Mikoto stopped her.
"No Satsuki, it's too dangerous."
"B-But, Ryou's out there! H-He could be getting killed-"
"Your Father wont allow that to happen."
"He already hated Ryou...and that idiot there...he's doing it for Dad's sake...he must have truly believed Dad hated Ryou for him to try this..."
Mikoto gently comforted Satsuki.
"It's a lot more complicated than it appears. Your Father, doesn't hate Ryou-kun. I can't go into it more than that, your Father made me promise to keep it all to myself, but just know that Fugaku's hate, is more complex than simply despising Ryou-kun. And if you can't believe in your Father...then believe in Itachi, he wont allow anything to happen to either Ryou-kun or Izumi-san."
Satsuki had to wonder if that was true.
And if it was, then she wasn't sure what to think.
All she knew was that Ryouta and Izumi were in danger, and could potentially die.
Back with Ryouta and Izumi, thanks to the tactic of Ryouta's, they managed to pull ahead.
Getting to the place were the flowers were, Izumi looked quickly, and saw the one she needed after looking for over ten seconds.
She smiled, and bent down towards them, while Ryouta's eyes looked around to make sure they weren't ambushed.
"Okay...here we go. If I can mix these together with what I have from my medical classes, then I'll be able to create a poison that will paralyse him. Hopefully it will work...no, it has to work..."
As she spoke, mostly to herself, Ryouta's worst fears were confirmed...
"Izumi-chan..."
"Don't worry Ryou-kun, it will be-"
"He's here!"
Izumi gasped, looking towards where Ryouta was, and this time saw that he was jumping up high, his katana in his hands.
As he was, Tobi's menacing eye looked upon the trio, and kept his eye closely on Ryouta himself, wondering what the boy was going to do.
"Move!"
Izumi pushed Ryouta out of the way, but wasn't quick enough to move herself.
With the blade coming down at high speeds, Izumi barely had time to move out of the way, when she felt the blade cut her right hand side, digging into her flesh, and she cried out in pain.
He then smashed his foot into her body, sending her flying into a nearby tree, making her spit out bile as a result.
"Izumi-chan!"
Ryouta rushed towards Yashiro, and slashed at him with a kunai, but Yashiro blocked with his katana, and got out another kunai, launching it close by Ryouta's face, who dodged out of the way, but received a cut on his face with blood running down his cheek, then jumped back.
Izumi grimaced, getting up as Ryouta took a stance.
"Izumi-chan...do it..."
"R-Ryou-kun..."
She was confused on what he was trying to do.
"Don't worry...I'll keep him at bay...just do it...it's our only chance to survive...I'm not dying here. Not to him."
Ryouta knew Yashiro's strength.
But he wasn't going to give up.
He was going to protect Izumi, even if his life was on the line.
Izumi could also see the seriousness in his eyes.
If she could, she'd switch places, and make it so that he'd make the poison, and she'd fight.
But the knowledge Ryouta would need, he didn't have, and she did.
She had to very reluctantly give it up for Ryouta, and began doing what was necessary.
"Ryou-kun...don't die! Do you hear me?! Do not die!"
Ryouta flashed her a smile.
"Yes...I wont."
Yashiro thought it was funny that they were trying to take him on.
Yashiro's eyes shot for her, but Ryouta yelled "You're looking at the wrong person!" and saw Ryouta tossing a number of shuriken towards him, so Yashiro used his katana to slice them apart, only to see that Ryouta was coming in fast and hard.
So he smirked, and stabbed forward as Ryouta waved through some hand signs, piercing through Ryouta's body…
But then a poof of smoke, and log appeared in his place.
"Substitution..."
Yashiro looked around, seeing Ryouta coming in from another direction, his kunai in both hands, and despite feeling tired, he jumped up, and came from the right, which Yashiro blocked, then twirled around with his foot going for Yashiro's face.
Yashiro moved his arm to block, only to see that Ryouta had turned his body upside down as if he was a flowing river, came at him from his torso area with another kunai, trying to pierce his body, but Yashiro snickered, drawing Ryouta's attention.
He recognized that laugh.
Every time Yashiro had laughed, it was always like that.
Ryouta now was convinced he knew who this was.
He had a very good idea before, due to how Yashiro had shown his hatred.
"Yashiro...I suspected...but it is, isn't it?"
Yashiro smirked under the mask, as he deflected Ryouta's blade, and then used a good deal of force to blow Ryouta away from him.
Ryouta flipped in the air, skidding across the grass as he did so, and saw Yashiro taking off his mask, revealing his face.
"No point hiding it I suppose. It isn't like you'll be alive to tell anyone anyway."
"Why...Why are you doing this?"
Izumi demanded, as she continued mixing the ingredients together.
"Why I'm doing this? Isn't it obvious why I'm doing this Izumi? You, and Ryouta, are not true Uchiha. You are nothing, and you need to be slain for the clans future to proceed."
"You really hate us that much...that you'd do this? We don't pose a threat to you…"
"One day, you will. This fight proves to me, how dangerous you really are. I have to secure the Uchiha's future." Yashiro flew through some hand signs, and then inhaled deeply. "Fire Release, Great Fireball Jutsu!"
He shot the attack for Ryouta, who knew he didn't have the chakra to fight against it.
So he threw a paper bomb towards it, causing an explosion to stop the attack…
But then multiple shurikens came shooting forward, and there were coated with fire.
Though it wasn't a true coating and only had it caught on the shurikens.
Ryouta used his kunai to block a number of shurikens, but one managed to get through and sliced his shoulder, causing him to wince.
In that instant, Yashiro showed his speed, crossing the distance, but Ryouta saw his leg was shaking so he managed to swing his leg for Yashiro's, landing a strong hit on it, and caused him to cry out in pain, before Ryouta slammed his fist deeply into Yashiro's face, forcing him backwards.
Yashiro felt blood escaping his nose.
His eyes went towards Ryouta, and he was getting increasingly angry.
"Maybe you're not as talentless as I had imagined. You are your Mother and Father's child, like Shisui Uchiha. One day, you will become a serious danger. To be honest, I can already see the strengths of your determination, even against me and with a limited Jutsu to pull from, you still managed to damage me. But, that ends now."
Yashiro charged forward.
Getting up close, he kneed Ryouta in the torso who took out a kunai and tried to impale Yashiro through the arm with it, but Yashiro was faster, grabbing his hand and stopped him, a smirk growing on Yashiro's face.
"It is a shame that you're not a true Uchiha, you could've been an asset one day."
Yashiro, with a strong arm movement, launched Ryouta right into a tree.
Ryouta spat out bile, feeling his body getting increasingly sore.
But, despite that, he didn't stop.
He wouldn't allow Yashiro to win.
Getting up on shaky legs, wounds on his upper, and lower body, Ryouta saw that Yashiro was weaving through some hand signs, getting ready to fire off another Jutsu towards Ryouta.
"I wont...I wont give up!"
Ryouta yelled, and rushed at him.
Grabbing a stray kunai on the floor as he ran, he tossed it towards the man, but Yashiro merely bats it away with his sword.
However, the moment he did, Ryouta followed up with his finger moving right, and the kunai followed, avoiding his blade.
Yashiro's eyes flared, seeing that he was using wires, guiding the kunai.
Yashiro felt hatred building up inside of him, and then used his katana to cut through the wire so Ryouta couldn't use it, only to see that Ryouta was weaving through some hand signs, readying himself to fire off another Great Fireball Jutsu.
"Yeah right kid. Not again."
Yashiro thought to himself, and used his speed to get in close, his katana came down, and tried to slice him in half. Ryouta though managed to pull back just in time to save being cut in half, but his chest received a harsh gash, drawing blood from him.
Ryouta wasn't deterred by this, pulling out a paper bomb and tossed it towards Yashiro.
"Damn it..."
Yashiro cut apart the paper bomb before it could hit him, but Ryouta used that as a distraction, launching a kunai up close to Yashiro's eye.
Yashiro could see it coming, and barely managed to knock the kunai away from him, but saw that yet again was another distraction for Ryouta to come at his chest with a kunai, something that impressed, and scared Yashiro that Ryouta as a child could do skillful tricks like this and even manage to fool him into believing they were the real attack.
"Enough!"
He grabbed the hand of Ryouta just in time...or so he thought.
Ryouta used what seemed another wire attached to the kunai on the ground, the same one that Yashiro brushed aside before it was going to hit his eye, coming back up towards his upper body, readying to stab his chest with it.
Yashiro moved Ryouta's own kunai in the way so he didn't get stabbed, forcing Ryouta backwards, panting.
"You know kid, if you had been born a true Uchiha, then I could see you serving Fugaku-sama very well, and being a decent member of Uchiha. Using tricks, and skills, even using wire to whip around kunai, and keep it hidden from even my Sharingan eyes. Shisui has taught you well."
"Yes he has...he taught me many things...and he's going to teach me even more..."
Yashiro laughed, believing that he was speaking nonsense.
"I'll send you to meet your parents, isn't that nice of me?"
"You...are...evil...true Uchiha...are filled with love...and kindness...that's what Shi-chan taught me...you, are nothing like that..."
Ryouta spat out, Yashiro didn't like that, and tried to punch him...
But Ryouta stopped his fist by grabbing his wrist, something that surprised Yashiro.
"Maybe so. But in this world, necessary evils have to exist. This is a necessary evil."
While that went on, Izumi had finished, dripping a kunai in the liquid, and shot for Yashiro as quickly, and quietly as she could, so Ryouta yelled at him to distract him.
"You wont get away with this!"
"But I will!"
Yashiro, in his defiance of admitting the truth, tried to attack Ryouta, but due to his rage clouding his better judgement, Ryouta managed to dance around his sword, and slam his hand deep into Yashiro's face, blowing him backwards.
Gripping his face, Yashiro howled.
"You little shit!"
Izumi, seeing her chance, made her move.
But Yashiro smirked, turned, grabbing Izumi's kunai, along with her throat, strangling her.
"Yeah, didn't forget about you, bitch."
"Izumi-chan!"
Ryouta moved forward, but Yashiro made another Shadow Clone and forced it to go for Ryouta, who jumped back, and engaged in a fight with it.
Yashiro felt the hit to his chakra, and could feel himself running low.
Yashiro forced Izumi's kunai out of her hand, and tossed her aside.
Hitting the ground, Izumi went to stand up, when Yashiro kicked her down.
"I don't take pleasure in killing. I actually have a disdain for doing it myself. But, with you and that boy, it's fine to get my hands dirty."
Yashiro's blade hovered above Izumi's body.
His wild expression held no humanity in it.
That was already gone.
She tried to move, but he pressed his foot against her stomach, keeping her pinned down.
Ryouta began crying, seeing the girl he would happily call his sister any day, going to be impacted, and killed by Yashiro's blade.
He tired moving past the clone, but he swiped his sword at Ryouta, forcing him to block with a kunai.
He felt helpless…
He couldn't get past the clone to get to Izumi.
He couldn't do anything like Shisui could.
Like Itachi.
He cursed his powerlessness…
No, he wouldn't do that.
He wasn't going to succumb.
Even if that's what Yashiro's wishes were.
His body was shaking from the pain.
His eyes were trying to stay focused.
He couldn't watch her die…
He wouldn't allow her to die…
He'd protect her with his life...
That's when he felt a surge into his eyes.
Chakra, a special form of it, released from Ryouta's brain and right into his eyeballs, changing the colour of them from black, to a deep blood red colour, with two Tomoe in each of his eyes, Ryouta seeing different colours of chakra.
Tobi saw his eyes, and became astonished.
"Two Tomoe in each eye, rare but not unheard of...haha, Ryouta Uchiha, your Sharingan has awakened."
Ryouta's eyes focused upon the three before him.
Seeing Izumi's pleasant and warm chakra.
But also saw Yashiro's foul, and disgusting chakra.
The same with the clone.
His desire to protect Izumi was so strong, that it managed to awaken the Sharingan that his clan was famous for.
"I can see it..."
Ryouta, with all of the energy he had, ran forward, the clone attempted to slash Ryouta, but thanks to his new eyes, he saw the attack coming, and dodged out of the way, before quickly ramming a kunai through its body, dispelling it, alerting Yashiro.
"What?! H-He awakened the Sharingan?! He beat my clone with a kunai?!"
Izumi was astonished.
Ryouta shot closer towards Yashiro, grabbing the kunai on the ground that was Izumi's coated in poison.
When getting in close, Yashiro swung his sword…
But unlike before, Ryouta could see it coming in before it could be swung, where it was going to go, allowing him to dodge out of the way, and came at him with the kunai that Izumi had before, and slashed at him in different locations.
Yashiro blocked, and then came at Ryouta once more with a piercing attack, only for Ryouta to cross the kunai over his body, diverting the blade away from him, and followed up with a kunai coming at his shoulder, his Sharingan eyes shining as it adapted to the way that Yashiro moved, and could begin reading the subtle movements that he made.
Though it wasn't as precise as a fully matured Sharingan, it gave him enough clarity to allow him to predict where his next attack was roughly going to hit before it did hit, Izumi was amazed to see Ryouta fighting off Yashiro in such a ferocious manner.
Ryouta however felt his chakra draining so he began thinking.
"I need to catch him off guard...he's getting weaker, his reactions have dulled...but he's still fighting hard despite his injuries he's received...however, there is something I can do. He's acting wild, he's not thinking clearly...I can use that to my advantage."
Having made up his mind, he shot forward, and twirled his kunai.
Yashiro caught Ryouta with his hand and grabbed his throat, suspending him in the air.
Ryouta's eyes went to Izumi, who furrowed her brows.
She then saw him subtly shaking his kunai, she understood, and very quietly made her way to them.
Ryouta kept him talking for Izumi to get in close, undetected.
"You...didn't have to do this..."
"I did. Didn't you hear me? This is for the future of Uchiha. You're a stain on Uchiha's greatness, both you and Izumi Uchiha. With you out of the way, Fugaku-sama's path is clear, he wont have to keep guilt, and sadness when looking at you, over your Mother's death."
"Mom..."
He murmured sadly, Yashiro grinned evilly.
"That's right, your precious Mother. I never liked her marrying into this clan, but for the sake of Fugaku-sama, I allowed it to happen without voicing my opinions. And I'll admit that Shisui is a rare find, a once in a generation genius, and it sickens me that he is the one that's like that."
"...You're jealous of Shi-chan...you know...you'll never...be able to beat him...that's why, you chose...when he was away...to attack us...because you're a coward."
Ryouta's cold hard truth hit hard within Yashiro.
It was true, but Yashiro never wanted to admit it.
Trying to quell his anger, his rage, Yashiro gave a sneer.
"Shisui might be talented, but he is no Madara Uchiha. Do you know who that is? Now, that was an Uchiha. Ruthless, a killing machine that wouldn't allow anything or anyone to stand in his way! I would have loved to stand beside him!"
"Madara...Uchiha...would despise you for your...cowardly ways...he'd not want you...beside him..."
Ryouta spat out, igniting rage within Yashiro.
Tobi felt like laughing aloud when he heard Ryouta trash talk Yashiro.
"Madara would look down upon Yashiro. I think Madara would take a keen interest in Ryouta for what he's been doing and how he's been fighting until now...yes, he's definitely showing his skills, and his intellect. That boy, definitely has potential. Just awakening the Sharingan and swiftly defeating Yashiro's clone and now deflecting his attacks, even before he was keeping pace with Yashiro. I don't think Itachi or Shisui could have done better at his age against an opponent like Yashiro. I can't let this talent go to waste. There's so much I can teach him. After all...we're quite similar."
Tobi's thoughts were interrupted when Yashiro yelled at Ryouta.
"You know nothing! Madara-sama was great, and you are the curse of Uchiha!"
"No...you're the curse, Yashiro."
Yashiro's eyes blazed, and tried to attack Ryouta...
But Ryouta then dropped his kunai with the poison, Izumi quickly moved, and kicked it right into Yashiro's leg, the poison seeping into the wound, and began spreading through his body, Ryouta ripped himself out of Yashiro's grip, and jumped to the side of Izumi.
"Damn it!"
He yanked out the kunai, and tossed it down to the ground, beginning to feel dizzy.
Together, Izumi and Ryouta shot forward.
Yashiro went to activate a fire release Jutsu, but didn't have time to weave through the hand signs as Izumi took out a few senbon, and threw them at his hands, forcing him to abandon that plan, while Ryouta came at him with a forward assault, slashing from his right.
Yashiro blocked the strike, only for Izumi to come in from the left hand side, so he took out a kunai, and blocked the strike, only to see like flowing water, both Izumi and Ryouta had lined their legs up with his stomach, embedding it deeply into his torso.
"We wont lose!"
Izumi announced, and came at him again and again, as did Ryouta, piling on the pressure to make him make a mistake, and for them to finally get in a good kind of attack, finding it easier as time went on to keep up with Yashiro, the poison doing its work.
Yashiro though wasn't having any of it, and managed to slash Izumi upwards, sending Izumi's arms up, and left her open to attack.
Ryouta though flung himself in the way, and blocked his slash against her, allowing the pair to jump away.
Ryouta stood together with Izumi.
"Ryou-kun...you protected me..."
Izumi could see that he was sweating.
He had used so much chakra, even she felt like she was on the verge of passing out.
"I-I'm okay Izumi-chan...lets keep going. I'll protect you, until my last breath!"
Izumi was taken aback.
He truly did love Izumi.
He'd protect her.
So, she'd protect him too.
"Right, lets go."
Izumi and Ryouta shot off again and challenged Yashiro, who began to sweat, when seeing their movements together. Even young, and inexperienced, they both came at him again and again, even when he knocked them back, they came at him again.
He still was very skilled, but they had determination on their side, and they knew they would have to try something, one last time.
Ryouta also knew they had to do something, feeling immense pain inside, but knew he had to keep going on. He had to keep fighting and wouldn't allow Yashiro to win this fight.
"You brats...you're nothing...compared to me..."
As he said it, Yashiro felt as if a numbing pain was beginning to spread inside of him.
His exhaustion also caught up with him, using the Sharingan, Shadow Clones, and other Jutsu's along with the injuries he sustained, it was too much for him.
But because of that, Ryouta and Izumi got close, and rammed kunai's into his body, and kicked him down onto the ground.
"Bind him!"
Izumi called, and together, took out wire, and wrapped it around his body, and made sure he couldn't escape, and as he tried to struggle, the poisons effects kicked in and stopped him from doing it all together, and they were successful.
"W-What have you…done?"
Izumi lightly smiled, collapsing to the ground as did Ryouta, drained of their chakra.
"That kunai you took to the leg, the poison on it is from a flower that grows around here, causing the body to be paralyzed when mixed with certain chemicals. It takes a little time to kick in, but once it does, the effects are as you feel right now. I learned about it when doing my course in Medical training. Even the strongest Ninja's that haven't dealt with this kind of poison before wont be able to move all that well for a while. At least twenty minutes. You're finished. Now, tell us more of this plan of yours. Better yet, tell it to the other Uchiha and Konoha."
Yashiro's eyes sank when she said that.
He had...be caught by the pair.
Even though he was a Jonin, he thought he'd be able to take them out.
But with the surprises that kept happening, and by realizing it too late, the attacks that he received had caused enough damage to slow him down, the chakra he had used, he was...finished.
Yashiro's mind was breaking.
The thought that he had lost, to two kids he didn't even consider true Uchiha...
A minute or so later, they both heard a familiar voice.
"Ryou! Izumi-chan!"
It was Shisui's voice.
"S-Shi-chan! W-We're here!"
Ryouta called back, knowing his brother would come right away.
His voice though, was noticeably weak despite trying to yell.
Shisui came visible to them, and saw Yashiro on the ground, along with Ryouta and Izumi sat together.
Relief came over him, and he got between them, as Ryouta felt dizzy.
"Thank God you're okay..." He bent down, and peered into Ryouta's eyes, seeing the Sharingan. "You've awakened it...the Sharingan...you must've been so frightened..."
"No..I...I...I didn't...want Izumi-chan to die...I wanted to protect her..."
Shisui lightly smiled.
"I see...so they came out for your love for Izumi-chan...allowed them to finally awaken..." His eyes went to Yashiro, and his anger skyrocketed. "You bastard..."
"Come to kill me...Shisui?"
Shisui went to answer, when Fugaku with Itachi came running up.
"That's for me to decide."
Fugaku began, seeing Izumi and Ryouta's condition.
Itachi went over to Izumi, and when she tried to speak "Itachi-kun, I-" he cut her off by embracing her, and in Shisui's, Fugaku, and Ryouta's minds, it cemented the feelings that Itachi had for Izumi.
Izumi was stunned at first, but then fell into the embrace and hugged him desperately.
"Itachi-kun...we were attacked by him...w-we had to defend ourselves..."
"We know."
His soothing voice sent shivers through her.
Shisui turned his eyes back onto Yashiro who quivered.
"Why did you do this to my little brother? To Izumi-chan?"
"Because...boy, they're not...Uchiha...they'll never...be Uchiha..."
Izumi faced away while Itachi held her close.
Ryouta looked towards Shisui who offered a comforting look.
Fugaku shook his head.
"I don't understand your actions. They are Uchiha, Yashiro. Your clone said it was for my benefit, how is this to my benefit?"
"F-Fugaku-sama...I did this...for you...to make sure you...could continue on...to remove the clouds from your heart...to make sure that boy...is put to rest...so you can be an exceptional leader without him there, reminding you...of that woman..."
Shisui glared at how Yashiro called his Mom 'that woman' with disdain.
"You disgrace me. Ryouta and Izumi Uchiha are different to most Uchiha it's true, but they still hold our blood deep within them. I do not believe they are lesser Uchiha than anyone else within the clan, and seeing what they did to you, I'd say they are able to hold their own and fight like true Uchiha. And that woman, as you call her, was one of my most dearest friends as was her husband, I wont tolerate anyone speaking ill of either of them."
Yashiro's eyes fell into despair.
The sweet words that Tobi had whispered to him...were lies.
All he had wanted was to make Fugaku happy, and to make Uchiha great…
Now he had learned that Fugaku didn't want what he thought he did.
"Fugaku-sama..."
"Yashiro, I can't look at you right now. We'll have to deal with you accordingly."
Shisui's eyes fell upon him, while Ryouta's eyes slowly closed.
"For what you did to my brother..."
Shisui could feel his blood boiling.
He hadn't ever hated anyone as much as he did Yashiro right now.
Yashiro though smirked, having nothing left to lose.
"I hope one day, someone kills him in front of you Shisui."
Those words sent Shisui over the edge.
He went to deal with him…
When Tobi who was looking on, thought "This is goodbye Yashiro. I can't let any secrets about me get out, everything ties back to you, I've left nothing to tie it back to me, you pathetic Uchiha Pawn." and made a single hand sign, activating something within Yashiro, and then he used his eye to teleport himself away from the area.
As Shisui was going to strike Yashiro down, strange patterns appeared over Yashiro's body.
Seemingly fuelled with chakra, flames began to erupt across the body from the strange markings.
Izumi gasped.
"Itachi-kun, what is that…?"
"A fail safe, it seems."
"Fail safe?"
"If he was to fail, it seems that it will consume himself in flames, and cause a good wide explosion. It's some kind of seal... He probably did this so he could take you and Ryou out if he failed...but to go that far-"
"Ryou, and Izumi-chan beat you."
Yashiro looked towards Shisui who gave him a cold look back.
Shisui then swiftly ended Yashiro's life, stabbing him through the heart, and stopped the progression of the technique, dropping to the ground, deceased.
Shisui didn't like killing, but in this instance, he had no choice, and to give Ryouta and Izumi peace of mind, he'd take on this burden he didn't want a six year old Ryouta to have, nor Izumi, knowing one day they might have to kill, but not this day, he wouldn't allow Yashiro's death to affect them. But still, acknowledging that Ryouta and Izumi were the ones that won the fight, and if they had chosen so, they could have killed him but had to keep him alive to interrogate and see what else was happening, if he had help or anything like that.
Fugaku slowly bowed his head.
"Thank you, Shisui."
Shisui didn't look at Fugaku, knowing his face would reveal everything he thought about Fugaku in that moment, and the situation at hand.
Instead, he turned towards Ryouta, but saw that he had fallen unconscious.
"Ryou…?" He didn't answer, so Shisui shook him, but he didn't open his eyes. "R-Ryou!? W-What's...o-open your eyes for me! R-Ryou come on!"
He didn't get an answer.
Despite how many times Shisui would shake or call his name out, he didn't answer.
Immense worry was overcoming Shisui.
Izumi looked over him briefly.
"Shisui-kun, take him to the hospital!"
Shisui didn't have to be told twice, and sped off out of the area.
Itachi looked down at Izumi's body, and saw that she had some wounds.
"Izumi, I'll take you to the hospital also."
"Itachi-kun...thank you. I'm...so tired..."
"Rest, you're safe now."
She wrapped her arms around his neck, collapsing onto his chest, falling unconscious.
Itachi glanced at Fugaku once more, seeing a complex number of emotions on his face.
"He did it, for you. He thought, you hated Ryou that much...you'd want him dead. Many, act like Yashiro, towards a boy, that's done nothing. And now, they'll be people that will side with Yashiro, and believe that Ryou did this, pushed Yashiro to defend himself or some other nonsense due to what you've instilled in others. Izumi, and Ryou...have done nothing, yet they nearly died this night, and it's on your shoulders, Father."
Speaking his thoughts, Itachi's words hit home with Fugaku.
Fugaku lowered his brows.
"Yes...you're right Itachi. Get...Izumi to a hospital, I'll deal with this."
Itachi glanced at his Father once more, before leaving, not truly sure if his Father understood, he couldn't tell.
Fugaku's eyes overlooked Yashiro, and while he didn't say anything, he wondered how Ryouta's Mother and Father would look at him now, seeing what had transpired.
Fugaku simply stared at the corpse, controlling the emotions deep inside until his men arrived to come and take the body away, not sure where he was going to go from here.
Some days later, Shisui sat down within the hospital room of Ryouta, he hadn't woken up yet.
He had suffered a number of injuries.
However, thankfully they weren't life threatening.
Mostly, he passed out due to chakra exhaustion, awakening the Sharingan, using Jutsu, and fighting someone like Yashiro had taken a toll.
Izumi sat down within the hospital room, having recovered, overlooked Shisui.
"You can get some rest, Shisui-kun. We'll be here. Besides, you haven't been home in days, right after a mission in fact."
Izumi spoke, but Shisui shook his head.
"I can't...not until he wakes up..."
It was understandable why Shisui didn't want to go.
"He'll be safe here. He saved us by fighting by himself, even though he knew how dangerous it was...I feel guilty that I couldn't protect him more…"
Shisui went over to her, and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"He loves you, Izumi-chan." Izumi began crying as Itachi walked into the room with Satsuki and Mikoto. "He awakened the Sharingan for his love and desire to protect you. Don't feel guilty, Yashiro is the one that's at fault."
"Yes..." Mikoto added. "I just can't believe it, his hatred ran that deep for you two...though, I suppose it doesn't matter now, since he's been dealt with. Even Fugaku was...stunned by what he had done. And his clone, upon Yashiro's death, it simply vanished like a normal Shadow Clone...it was very strange, we guess that the clone had some Jutsu or seal to make it near undetectable from being a Shadow Clone, and with those seals, backed up by what was found in his home, Yashiro had delved into it for months. But Itachi, you caught it, I'm proud."
"I didn't catch it in time, unfortunately."
Izumi lightly smiled.
"You did Itachi-kun, he went so far so of course it wouldn't be easy to detect. But still...the Uchiha, and the Genjutsu...it was confirmed to be him?"
Izumi wondered to Mikoto.
"It seems that it was Yashiro's plan from the evidence that we've gathered. It was his chakra that was found on the people he put under Genjutsu, we couldn't find any evidence of other chakra around. We even found some Konoha Ninja had been taken out, with his signature also. So he was most likely acting alone. Still, it must've taken a lot of planning to do this, even making sure that we couldn't be aware at the shrine."
Shisui wondered if Yashiro did this on his own...
Shisui knew that it would be more dangerous than ever if there was someone out there trying to harm Ryouta.
Satsuki puffs out her cheeks.
"He's an idiot anyway...trying to hurt and kill my Ryou like that...honestly, if it was me and Ryou together...he wouldn't have stood a chance..."
Mikoto could see how hard it was for Satsuki to see Ryouta in such a condition.
Realizing now that it had been Yashiro who had convinced Satsuki to stay away and be gone while he did his plan to kill Ryouta and Izumi, only caused her to feel sadder about the situation that was at hand.
As they talked, Ryouta's eyes slowly opened, and the first words he uttered were "Shi-chan..." drawing Shisui's attention.
He rushed to Ryouta's side, and held onto his hand, peering into his eyes, happy tears appearing in Shisui's.
"Ryou...you're okay, you're safe now. I'm here."
"Yashiro..."
"He's...He's gone now. You don't have to worry about him ever again."
Ryouta was glad, but he could see the concern on Shisui's face.
"What's wrong Shi-chan?"
"Aha, I'm just glad you're okay..."
"Is Izumi-chan..."
Shisui nods, pointing to Izumi.
Izumi smiled brightly at him.
"My hero saved me~ That hair trick was pretty smart, so was that wire trick after the explosions, and engaging in combat to just give me time to make a poison...that was definitely brave of you Ryou-kun..." Izumi paused, feeling happy tears coming to her eyes. "...You did amazing Ryou-kun. Shisui-kun, you would've been proud of what he did, and how he fought...it was nothing short of amazing the lengths he went to for us to survive."
"I am proud of him."
Shisui smiled at Ryouta, while Satsuki's gaze turned towards Izumi.
"You still like my brother, right? You haven't decided to go for Ryou, have you?"
Izumi mildly blushed.
"O-Of course I haven't decided to go for Ryou-kun! He's like my cute little brother."
"I hope so..."
Mikoto thought it was cute how Satsuki seemed a bit jealous of Izumi.
Izumi then breathed out of her mouth in relief.
"Still, that Yashiro, little bast..." She glanced at Itachi who raised an eyebrow. "...eeh, the point is sweetie, we're both okay, and he's gone. You even awakened the Sharingan, do you remember?"
"Yes...I remember. I'm glad you're okay Izumi-chan..." As he spoke, Satsuki wordlessly got onto the bed, and embraced him tightly. "Satsuki-chan..."
"Don't scare me like that again...okay? I wont let you...because...I-I thought you were going to die...I don't want you to die for a long time...you're my favourite person outside my family...I want to become a Ninja with you...so, I refuse to let you die until then!"
Ryouta saw that Satsuki was crying.
Touched by her emotions, he gently embraced her.
"I know, I wont die until I become a Ninja with you."
Satsuki didn't say anything else, and simply hugged onto him, while Shisui smiled, even Mikoto smiled.
Izumi then groaned.
"I'm going to go and get some snacks for everyone, I'm sure you're starving Ryou-kun."
"Yes, I'm quite hungry."
"Then I'll be right back."
Izumi stood up, and left.
Itachi looked at the place she left, while Shisui exhaled slowly.
"So?"
Itachi turns to Shisui.
"So, what?"
"Seriously? Go after her."
"For what purpose?"
Shisui hummed, and thought about how to explain it.
"You guys haven't had a conversation about it, since it happened, have you? You haven't said how you...feel about her, have you?"
"Well...that isn't in my nature to do so..."
"Izumi-chan really cares about you." Ryouta spoke up. "I think...Itachi-san is a good match for Izumi-chan...though I don't know how Lee-san is going to take it...but I think he'll be fine eventually, and Izumi-chan deserves to be happy. If Itachi-san makes her happy, then I'd be happy too. Also...how she fought, you'd be proud of her. She...was amazing that day."
"Even Ryou is saying it. So go. Have some happiness."
Shisui became a little more forceful, Itachi blinked a few times, seeing the approving looks of Shisui, Ryouta, Satsuki, even Mikoto was giving approving looks.
"Okay...I'll go."
Itachi stood up, and left the room.
Shisui turned back to Ryouta, and saw that he was gently smiling.
But Ryouta saw something else...
Guilt.
Shisui had a guilt look in his eyes, Ryouta understood why he might have that.
"Shi-chan...what happened with Yashiro...it wasn't your fault...he was...a bad person, but you came Shi-chan..."
"...Lets not think of him, he's gone now, and I'll stay, to make sure you're safe, I promise." Ryouta could see Shisui was feeling guilty about the situation at hand. "So Sharingan huh Ryou?"
"Yup...I have the Sharingan now Shi-chan. One step closer to being beside you."
"Nah...you'll surpass me. Honestly, I'm not sure I could've done so well against Yashiro when I was your age. From what Izumi-chan said, it was a hard battle, and he came at you with strong Jutsu, and sword skills."
Mikoto nodded.
"Yes, Yashiro might've been a coward, but he wasn't weak by Uchiha standards."
Ryouta smiled, but then saw Satsuki furrowed her brows.
"Ryou, show me the Sharingan. I mean, if you're up to it."
"Eeh...sure. All I have to do is send chakra to my eyes, right Shi-chan?"
"Right."
Ryouta did just that, and his eyes changed to red.
Shining in the room, Mikoto and Satsuki admired his eyes.
"You did awaken them after all. They look really good on you, Ryou-kun~"
Mikoto smiled out in a motherly way.
"Darn...I'll awaken mine eventually Ryou!"
"Yes...but, I hope you awaken it...in a very good pleasant way."
Satsuki cocked her head, while Shisui smiled.
But also feared what and who could be after Ryouta.
He knew that Yashiro wouldn't be smart enough to do this all on his own.
Someone was after his brother, and he intended to find out who that was.
But more than that, Shisui felt sorrow that this had to happen, and wished he had been there to make it not happen.
Outside of the window, Tobi's lone eye locked onto Ryouta.
Seeing what happened, how he fought and survived, it was great to see.
Tobi thought "You truly do have great potential...I can't wait to see more. Until then, Ryou-kun." and then existed with his own brand of teleportation.
Walking down the corridor, Itachi came across Izumi piling food from a vending machine into her arms.
"When I thought you were going for some food, I didn't think it would be from a vending machine."
Izumi gave a light hearted smile.
"Chocolates calling to me, I can't resist."
"I see."
Izumi and Itachi awkwardly looked at one another, and neither said anything.
They both clearly felt like saying something.
But for Itachi it was difficult letting his guard down.
For Izumi, she didn't know what his response was going to be.
So they stayed silent for half a minute, with neither being able to speak their true emotions.
But then Izumi spoke up.
"Itachi-kun, that day when you came...I saw your eyes. Maybe I'm mistaken...but, I saw real concern for me."
"...Yes I was deeply concerned, but maybe I shouldn't have been. You managed to survive."
"Hehe, good thing I've been practising my Ninjutsu and medical studies as well. Ryou-kun, you should've seen him, that boy was on the ball, he thought of tricks that I didn't, like with my hair, and other things. It was his idea to get caught, so we'd have an opening to poison him."
Izumi tried to lighten the mood.
But she could see that there was some conflicting within Itachi's eyes, something she wasn't sure about.
"I wish it could have been avoided. I...I saw something was different with Yashiro's clone, but chose to not say anything since at the time I didn't know what it was. I wish I could have done something sooner, or you might've not been injured, or Ryou either..."
Izumi silenced him by placing a hand on his right hand side of his face.
Itachi looked at the place her hand was, feeling the warmth coming off of her, then towards her face, seeing that she held no resentment, no anger, or anything negative.
Only positive emotions.
"Itachi-kun, don't blame yourself. If you do, I'll make you stop. You, didn't do anything other than be a great man to me that day. You stayed with me until my Mom got there, you stayed at my bedside just to make sure that I was okay, and wouldn't allow anything to happen to me. Even when you came at the end of the battle, you immediately came to me, and made sure I was okay. I know that it's...hard for you to express emotions...so, let me do it for the both of us."
"Izumi..."
Izumi lightly pressed her lips against Itachi's cheek, catching him off guard.
She pulled back, and her smile beamed out, seeing that while his face stayed the same stoic for the most part, she could see the beginnings of redness to appear on his cheeks.
"When fighting, I thought about you Itachi-kun, my Mom, Ryou-kun, everyone that I care about, and made sure that I'd be alive, I wasn't going to die to Yashiro. I might not be strong like you...but, I will become stronger, and become a Ninja that I can say my Dad would be proud of. And one day…I'll walk right beside you, and we'll protect people together. Just wait for me, Itachi-kun."
Itachi, hearing her words, wordlessly grabbed her hand.
She was mildly surprised.
But feeling his hand locking together with hers, told her more than words ever could.
"Itachi-kun..."
"...I am glad, that you are...still here. I have no doubt, you'll be an outstanding Ninja one day."
Izumi giggled.
"I'm glad...you're such a good man, Itachi-kun. Even if others don't see it, I can see the big heart you have for me, and others. You're full of love, Itachi-kun~ Sorry if I'm embarrassing you~"
Without saying a word, Itachi gently poked her forehead, in a similar way that he does with Satsuki, to show his affection for her, which was the world to Izumi, finally seeing the affection that Itachi had for her.

So the fight happened between Ryouta, Izumi and Yashiro. While Yashiro did indeed have a good deal of power, between the skills of Izumi and her medical knowledge, and Ryouta's ability to think of traps and using bait and switches along with them both using their limited pools of Jutsu, the pair managed to fight, and defeat Yashiro, with Shisui finishing him off after he tried to kill himself and everyone else. Fugaku also showed and explained a bit more about his feelings surrounding Ryouta, and Mikoto also explained a bit.
Then during the fight, Ryouta managed to awaken his Sharingan for his desire to protect Izumi, kind of like how Obito did to protect Kakashi, something Tobi alluded to when he compared himself to Ryouta. Speaking of, it seems that Tobi's convinced Ryouta will be quite useful to him now seeing what he's capable of, and what he truly intends for Ryouta, if it's his eyes, or for something deeper than that, we'll soon see~
Then in the end, it seems that Itachi and Izumi became somewhat officially a couple, though Itachi would find it difficult to admit it, Izumi's happy enough to see his concern for her, and how he'd feel if something would happen to her.
Finally, this is a question I've been getting a lot, about Ryouta's Mangekyou Sharingan abilities, and what they'll be, also been getting a few suggestions about them as well, so I thought I'd put it up to a vote.
Ranging from Kamui, both short and long ranged (he wouldn't be able to spam it like Obito due to it eventually making him blind, but use it more than Kakashi could use his for most of the manga since Ryouta's an Uchiha, and as the story goes, especially when gaining Eternal Mangekyou, then he'd be able to use it more frequently), Tsukuyomi and finally, Kotoamatsukami (Ryouta would be able to use it more than once a decade, like maybe once a day due to chakra consumption it would have, and as the series goes, he'll be able to use it more than once, especially when he gains the Eternal Mangekyou).
With all three, I could see many ways they could be used, even the Genjutsu ones be used in some unique ways.
The reason why Amaterasu isn't on the list, is while I really do like that power, that will be Satsuki's thing.

Kamui in both eyes, one eye long and other eye short ranged.
Kotoamatsukami in one eye, long ranged Kamui in the other.
Kotoamatsukami in one eye, short ranged Kamui in the other.
Kamui short ranged in one eye, Tsukuyomi in the other.
Kamui long ranged in one eye, Tsukuyomi in the other.
Tsukuyomi in one eye, Kotoamatsukami in the other.
