It had happened just one day, a couple of weeks before summer, and odd wave of white energy surged just above the Kunugigaoka ward, except for one location, Kunugigaoka Junior High School Class 3-E. The wave disrupted all digital communications such as internet, VOIP, Radio, Phones, cameras. But the worse effect it had was on those who attended the Class 3-E. TO this day no one besides them knew it would lead to their second biggest adventure of a lifetime!
"Oh where am I?" Nagsia asked as he sat up, his long blue hair was loose as whatever happened to him, knocked it out of its pigtail inspired hairstyle. He reached into his pockets feeling nothing but the lint in it. "Where's my phone!"
"Probably back in the world you came from" a cheery voice with a deep southern accent said, making Nagisa look up to see a giant yellow, gold and purple armadillo standing there "now don't be too surprised, this is the digital world after all" it drawled out
"AAH!" Nagisa said backing up quickly
"I said not to be too surprised, Humans these days" the armadillo said
"What are you?" Nagisa asked out of fear
"I'm an Armadillomon, a Rookie level Vaccine Mammal Digimon" The armadillo smiled "Nice to meet you"
"yeah, I'm" Nagisa started
"Nagisa Shiota" Armadillomon said smiling
"How did you?" Nagisa asked
"Because, I knew you and your friends were coming" Armadillomon said
"How?" Nagisa asked confused
"You'll find out" Armadillomon said
"Where am I?" Nagsia asked, looking around.
"You're in the digital world, the hidden world inside your network; in particular we're on the continent of Server and behind me is Digitopolis" Armadillomon said
"So, why am I here?" Nagisa asked
"Follow me" Armadillomon requested.
Soon they walked up to a massive temple looking building.
"This is the Guardian Citadel, where we hold the keys for the humans heroes that come to our world" Armadillomon said
"Huh?" Nagisa asked looking around
"The digivice" a voice said making Nagisa before a robotic digimon appeared to him "It is the tool for the guardians or digidestined as they were originally called, it was used to help those who were partnered with a human digivolve"
"Who is that, and digivolve?" Nagisa asked
"It's the way we go from one level to the next" Armadillomon said.
"Okay, but who was that" Nagisa said
"Up here" a voice said
"Ah that would" Armadillomon said looking around
"Me" a robotic beetle said as he landed "I'm Ballistamon, I look after the data of Digitopolis, I also happen to be a champion level vaccine Machine digimon" it said.
"So how's the data looking?" Nagsia asked
"We have all 28 guardians" Ballistamon said putting the pictures of Nagisa's class up
"No way, that's my class. Wait you even have Ritsu and Itona on here" Nagisa said
"Itona Horibe; he's had a few tentacle problems but being brought to the digital world has cleansed his mind, hopefully partner well help him" Ballistamon said "and now who is this?" he asked looking at Nagisa who was kind of scared out of his mind before looking at the class "Ah E 3-11 Nagisa Shiota, ooh you've got a good partner"
"What did he get?" Armadillomon asked looking at the data "Ooh that is a good choice" he said as he lead Nagsia over to where a bunch of gloves sat, each glove looked like a standard black fingerless glove with a back guard which was silver with a screen inside a different coloured circle
"That is the new version of the Digivice, the D-Guard" Ballistamon said
"Now then your partner" Armadillomon said before the alert sounded showing that five of the D-Guards had vanished "Where did they?"
"Bringing it up now" Ballistamon said throwing up an image of five humans facing down giant bees "Oh great Flymon"
"Virus type Champion level Insect digimon, face a few of those in the past, what humans are those?" Armadillomon asked
"Maehara, Isogai, Yada, Kurahashi and Muramatsu!" Nagisa panicked before running off
"WHAT IS THAT THING!" Muramatsu asked as a bee like monster was chasing them
"I'm not sure" Maehara shouted "You hanging in there Yuma?"
"You know it Hiroto" Isogia smiled
"Where are the others?" Kurahashi asked
"I'm not sure Yada shouted
"Just keep running" Muramatsu called back as the group moved more
"BROWN STINGER!" the insect shouted firing a stinger from its thorax, just scratching Isogai
"YUMA!" the group cried
"I'm fine man, keep going" Isogai shouted
"GUYS MORE OF THEM!" Yada shouted as more stingers struck the ground near them
"This isn't good" Kurahashi whimpered
"It's okay sweetie" Yada gulped "I hope"
"GUYS!" Nagsia shouted
"NAGISA!" they all cheered.
"OVER HERE!" Nagisa shouted, making the five teenagers run over to him
"It's good to see you" Isogai sighed
"Where are we?" Maehara asked
"You'll see" Nagsia said as the D-Guards appeared before them.
"What are they?" Yada asked
"Something we need to survive" Nagsia said as the screen lit up, making Nagsia clench his fist as a the blue circle lit up "VEEMON!" he shouted as a blue circle showed "Guys hurry up
"But how do we?" Kurahashi asked
"You just know" Nagisa said "alright?"
"Yeah!" Maehara said as he pulled out his D-Guard and the same thing happened only his was an orange ring. "AGUMON!"
"My turn" Yada said as her D-Guard lit up dark pink "PALMON!"
"Here we go" Isogai said as his D-Guard glowed silver "KOTEMON!"
"Okay, let's do this" Muramatsu sighed his D-Guard lighting up Grey "CANDLEMON!"
"Please help us" Kurahashi said as hers unleashed a red light "CORONAMON!"
Suddenly a great flash of light shone bright before dying to show six small creatures, a blue dragon, an orange dinosaur, a kendo practitioner, a candle, a walking plant and a lion cub
"Okay then' Maehara said
"Which one is which?" Yada asked
"Well my is obviously the candle" Muramatsu shrugged
"Maybe we should head away from here since bug boy is coming back" Nagisa said
"Good point" Isogai said
"But how?" Kurahashi asked
"Ah guys, what happened?" the lion cub asked
"Maybe we were summoned" the candle said
"Then they must be the guardians" the kendo practitioner said
"But why are we in the wilds and not in the guardian's citadel?" the blue dragon asked
"They can talk?" Muramatsu blanched as Yada hid behind him
"well duh!" the blue dragon said before the buzzing was heard again
"Sounds like Flymon" the plant said
"Let's move" the dinosaur said as he pushed Maehara away
"HEY!" the playboy said
"We better follow him" Nagisa sighed
"Okay, so you guys are digimon correct?" Nagisa asked while the group were near a small lake
"YEAH!" the digimon said
"We called out your names, but we're not sure who is who" Muramatsu sighed
"Good point" Yada said
"Well we better fix that" the blue dragon said "Nice to meet you I'm Veemon, a rookie level Vaccine Dragon Digimon"
"Hello I'm Nagisa Shiota"
"I'm Agumon, a rookie vaccine Reptile digimon!" the orange dinosaur now named Agumon shouted
"Nice to meet you man I'm Hiroto Maehara"
"Kind of obvious but I'm Candlemon, a Rookie Data Fire Digimon" the candle said
"Wicked, I'm Takuya Muramatsu" Muramatsu said
"I'm Palmon a rookie data plant digimon" the Plant smiled
"Nice to meet you I'm Toka Yada" Yada smiled
"Please to meet, I'm Coronamon, a rookie vaccine beast digimon" the lion said
"So Cute! I'm Hinano Kurahashi!" she laughed hugging Coronamon
"Sunny personality you have there" Coronamon said
"And I am Kotemon a rookie data reptile Digimon" the kendo practitioner said bowing
"A pleasure, I'm Yuma Isogai" he knelt down to shake his partner's hand.
"So what was that thing?" Yada asked
"A Flymon, but what it's doing so close to Digitopolis, I don't know' Palmon answered
"Digitopolis, what does Supermon live there?" Muramatus laughed
"Who?" Veemon asked
"never mind" Nagisa said
"Anyway, what are we going to do about Flymon?" Maehara said
"ISOGAI!" Yada cried as he collapsed
"I'm fine" Isogai grunted
"You were hit by that thing's stinger!" Kurahashi said
"Poisoned, this is not good" Kotemon said
"Maybe Ballistamon has some medicine"
"Only problem is that thing is out there and we can't get to the city" Candlemon said
"But we could if we digivolved" Veemn said
"Digivolved?" Kurahashi asked
"I'm guess you guys change form and go up a level" Maehara guessed
"Correct" Agumon nodded as their D-Guard beeped. Soon a map appeared
"Looks like we can take this route" Nagisa said pointing to one going around the forest
"It does look more out of the way" Kurahashi said
"But it doesn't have THAT THING!" Muramatsu cried out pointing to the Flymon over head
"BROWN STINGER!" Flymon shouted as two more stingers were shot out at the group
"PEPPER BREATH!" Agumon called out breathing a fireball out
"LIGHTNING ARROW!" Kotemon cried swinging his sword to send an arrow of lighting flying at the other one
"POISON IVY!" Palmon shouted wrapping the insect Digimon up
"Bring it down!" Coronamon said
"You got it!" Palmon said, slamming it on the ground.
"VEE-HEADBUTT!" Veemon called out ramming into the giant bug
"CORONA KNUCKLE!" Coronamon shouted igniting its fists before delivering a series of jabs to the bug's side
"Wow" the humans said
"PARAFFIN PARALYSER!" Candlemon shouted covering it in hot wax "Time to act like a dictionary and book it"
"Bad pun" Muramatsu said
"But, right idea" Nagisa stated as Maehara helped Isogai run.
An hour later they were back in the Guardian citadel where Armadillomon had explained things to them
"So, our class is scattered around a world made of data with monsters created from data some of which are bad and we have to save it" Maehara said
"Sounds like a bad isekai anime" Muramatsu said before being hit upside the head "OW"
"Takuya" Yada glared at him
"I get it, okay, okay. Sorry" Muramatsu said while Toka sighed
"It's no problem" Armadillomon said smiling.
"um Mr Armadillomon?" Kurahashi asked rising her hand
"You don't need to raise your hand or call me Mr Armadillomon, just Armadillomon will do"
"Oh okay. How did we get here?" Kurahashi asked
"Not sure" Armadillomon shrugged
"that wave" Nagisa said
"You mean the wave of light?" Maehara asked
"The Giga Tsunami, I was wondering what happened" Ballistamon said
"The what?" Nagia asked
"A wave of energy of the digital world that spread out over it before disappearing, I'm guessing it was scanning any and all digital devices in your world before finding you guys" Ballistamon said
"Then transported us here" Nagisa said
"Yeah" Ballistamon nodded
"So the question is how do we get home?" Isogai asked
"I'm not sure, we need to find the chronicle of Networking" Armadillomon said
"But it has long been forgotten to us" Ballistamon said as an alarm rangout
"What is it?" Armadillomon asked
"Well more of the D-Guards are online" Ballistamon said
"They must have been sent out when we were out" Nagisa said
"Correct, so where are they?" Armadillomon asked
"A Group of four, heading into Shogunate Village" Ballistamon said
"That's a fair bit away" Armadillmon said
"LET'S MOVE!" Nagisa shouted
Close to a Japanese look village four of the student from Kunugigaoka were taking a break
"How far away is it?" Nakamura asked playing with a bit of her now brown hair
"So you do bleach it" Karma smikred
"So what?" Nakamura snapped
"Maybe we can find help in the village" Okuda said
"Good Idea Okuda!" Suguya said before he looked and saw smoke rising from it. He jumped down from the tree he was in "there's smoke guys"
"Come on" Karma shouted rushing off
"Wait for us!" Nakamura shouted
G'day Guys Grizz here, and yeah never thought I would do this combination, my favourite anime with my favourite childhood anime which I still enjoy today (I'm watching Digimon Tamers, just in random order, for some reason right now) and the choices of Digimon were ones I just thought would fit. Now the scattering across the digital world is nothing new and might take a few chapters, but they will only face Champion level threats until they reach the return to earth arc where they will start facing ultimate digimon including the main big bag evil mon of the series! Now I will check in on the earth side fo things from time to time just to see how the parents are holding up as well as the teachers
