"This looks like something out a samurai drama" Okuda said
"Yeah, down to the architecture" Suguya said
"So, we're dealing with samurai?" Karma laughed
"Yeah, but where is the smoke?" Nakamura asked
"Over there!" Suguya shouted as he and Karma ran off.
"So you are the new guardians, I will have to put a stop to you!" a round digimon said "I must report this to Lord Musuyamon" he said vanishing
"Huh?" Okuda asked looking behind her, "What was that" she asked before she looked at the glove on her hand which had a purple ring on it
"Hey Bookworm, you coming" Nakmura said as she stood next to the chemist
"Sorry, just wondering what these things are" she said looking at the D-Guard, hers being yellow. "Come on" she gently said
"Okay," Okuda said walking off with Nakamura.
"Shogunate village; ah here we are!" Armadillomon said "Huh, looks like it use to be a village of Gekkomon, Otamon and ruled by ShogunGekkomon" he said as three digimon appeared on screen, a blue tadpole like digimon, a weird frog looking with a horn on its neck and a large orange toad with two horns and a purple topknot.
"That is a big bag of wind" Maehara said
"I'm sensing a but here Armadillomon" Kotemon said.
"Indeed, the original owners of the village were driven out by Ninjamon; so they're leader a Musyamon could take it over" Armadillomon said
"I wonder why" Isogai said
"Probably for protection, you see Musuyamon is being hunted by the Ronins of Sincerity"
"Ronins of Sincerity?" Kurahashi asked while she petted Coronamon
"Digimon who use the Digiegg of Sincerity to digivolve into Armor level digimon. Together they started to protect the village; making it their home"
"Armor digivolving is rare and known only to a few types of digimon" Veemon said
"Right, such as the Armadillomon and the Veemon" Armadillomon said
"Interesting" Nagisa said
"Can you show us what these Ronin digimon are?" Isogai asked
"Sure we have, Shurimon" Ballistamon started showing a human looking digimon with vines for limbs and shuriken for hands and feet, then it showed a Kabuki dancer
"that's a Kabukimon I'm guessing?" Yada asked
"Indeed" Armadillomon said "And the last one is Yasyamon" he said showing a dragon like digimon in samurai garb with two batons. "these three are the Ronin of Sincerity, but if they are no longer protecting the village"
"Then something happened to them" Nagisa said "Mount up Guardians!" Nagisa shouted "we're heading to Shogunate Village"
"YEAH!" the group cheered
"WHOA!" Rio shouted as she dodged more shuriken from the various Ninjamon attacking them
"What are those things?" Okuda asked
"Dangerous is what!" Suguya shouted
"They must be the villagers" Karma grunted as a Ninjamon was kicked out of the way
"THIS WAY!" a voice shouted as a flower was waved at them
"THERE!" Karma yelled as they ran to the flower. Once they reached eh alley the flower appeared a sheet dropped
"They went this way" one of the Ninjamon said as the passed the sheet
"Boy that was lucky" the voice said showing it was a weird plant lizard hybrid with a red leaf on its head
"WHAT IS THAT!" Suguya said as the glove on his hand showed a screen "Floramon, rookie level vaccine plant digimon"
"Yep that's me" Floramon said
"Okay so I take it those ninja things aren't normal?" Karma asked
"They showed up one day and their leader Musyamon just took over once ShogunGekkomon went to sleep" Floramon said
"So your leader was put to sleep, can't be a coincidence that it happened before this guy took over, where is he?"
"The main tower, but he's not going to be easy to fight" Floramon said "Oh only if the guardians were here" she said before
"We could be that" Karma smirked
"Well you have the guards, but where are you digimon?" Floramon asked
"Huh" they asked looking at the gloves on their
"FOUND YOU!" a voice said as a pair of swords sliced the sheet making it fall away, revealing Musyamon a large samurai digimon who looked angry "Time to die!" he growled before four bright lights shone.
"THERE'S THE VILLAGE!" Maehara shouted
"We need to find out friends" Yada said
"NINJAMON!" Veemon shouted
"Oh great! We haven't been in the village five seconds and they found us" Nagisa griped
"Look! More humans!" one of the Ninjamon said
"Oh great, now what should we do?" Maehara asked
"I'm not sure" Nagisa said
"There's too many of them" Kurahashi said
"VEE-HEADBUTT!" Veemon attacked
"PEPPER BREATH!" Agumon used his attack
"POISON IVY!" Palmon called out getting the girls out of the way, where they saw four light coloured red, yellow, purple and gray.
"There!" Yada pointing out
"NINJA KNIFE THROW!" several Ninjamon shouted throwing shuriken making Yada fall
"TOKA!" they shouted
"Time to die" Musyamon said as he drew his sword before the gloves on the hands started to glow the colours of the rings "WHAT IS THIS!"
"IMPMON!" Karma suddenly shouted as red light appeared
"RENAMON!" Nakamura called as a yellow light shone
"LUNAMON!" Okuda shouted as a burst of purple light appeared
"SYAKOMON!" Suguya called out making a grey light appear
"What is that" Musyamon shouted as he recoiled from the lights
"That felt powerful" Karma coughed
"Even seen a voice that big coming from a human before, you must be a Guardian" a voice said
"Indeed" an elegant voice said
"Who or what are they?" Suguya asked
"I am Impmon, a rookie level virus evil digimon" Impmon said
"I'm karma, great to meet you"
"I am Renamon, a Rookie level data Animal Digimon"
"Hey Rio's the name"
"I Look forward to working with you" Renamon bowed
"I'm Syakomon a rookie level virus crustacean digimon" the clam spoke
"Hey I'm Suguya" he said smiling as the clam popped open and a green slime popped up "you're kind of cute like that"
"And finally I'm Lunamon a Rookie level Data Mammal Digimon" she smiled as she hoped into Okuda's arms
"Nice to meet you I'm Okuda" Okuda laughed
"So you worthless meatbags are the Guardians!" Musuyamon snarled
"Yeah we are" Karma smirked
"OH, WELL I DON'T CARE!" Musyamon said drawing his sword and igniting it in blue flames "NINJA BLADE!" he shouted as he swung it
Yada was falling toward the ground fast and several Ninjamon were leaping at her
"NO!" Palmon tried to grab her, only for more shurikens to slice her vines "TOKA!
"We got to catch her!" Kurahashi said
"BUT HOW!" Maehara shouted
"If only we could take on those Ninjamon" Nagisa said when a pulsing was heard, looking at his D-Guard he saw a light spin around the ring "What is"
"Oh man what a wake up call" Veemon said glowing blue
"DIGIVOLUTION!" the system called out.
"What?" Nagsia asked
"VEEMON DIGIVOLVE TO!" Veemon called out as a ring of blue light descended around him, returning him to a ball of blue light before a sphere formed around him; glowing bright blue which exploded out revealing a bigger horned blue and white Dragon with a 'V' like marking on his chest. "VEEDRAMON!" he cried out as the digivolution finished. Looking skyward he saw how fast Yada was going before she would collide with the ground, so he leaped up and grabbed her safely in his arms,
"Uh oh" a hapless Ninjamon said before Veedramon landed on it, making it pop like a balloon.
"TOKA!" the humans shouted hugging their friend
"I'm fine" Yada said "So not Veemon?"
"Nope, I'm Veedramon, a Champion level Vaccine Mythical Dragon" he said before turning to the remaining Ninjamon "Now if you'll excuse me, V-NOVA BLAST!" he shouted unleashing a beam of blue flames at the Ninjamon.
"RUN!" they shouted
"Oh no you don't!" Maehara cried out as Agumon ran after them.
"I Hope the others are okay" Yada sighed
Renamon performed a leaping kick while Syakomon got behind Musyamon and clamped his shell down on the samurai's uncle. Howling in pain Musuyamon tried to stab the small with his sword, giving Impmon a chance to throw multiple pink and red fireballs at Musyamon's face. Growling a blast of water hit him, the attack had come from Lunamon who was standing close to a trembling Okuda, the evil digimon smirked and pointed his word at her. The other three panicked as Musyamon rushed at her
"NO!" they all shouted before Karma and Nakamura's D-Guard started to glow whiel Impmon and Rena started to glow red and yellow respectively
"DIGIVOLUTION!" the system called out
"Huh?" they asked
"What is Digivolution?" Okuda asked
"NO! NOT THAT!" Musyamon shouted as he turned his blades on them.
"IMPMON DIGIVOLVE TO!" Impmon called out as a ring of red light descended around him, returning him to a ball of red light before a sphere formed around him; glowing bright red which exploded out revealing a wizard looking being who grabbed a pointed hat and put it on his head "WIZARDMON!"
"RENAMON DIGIVOLVE TO!" Renamon called out as a ring of yellow light descended around her, returning her to a ball of yellow light before a sphere formed around her; glowing bright yellow which exploded out revealing a fox with nine tails "KYUBIMON!" she called out
"Who are they?" Suguya asked shocked
"Wizardmon, a champion level Data Wizard Digimon and Kyubimon a Champion level Data Mythical Animal Digimon" Okuda said reading out some basic stats
"So they levelled up huh?" Nakamura smirked
"I Don't care if they just digivolved, I'm still stronger" Musyamon snarled "SHOGUN SWORD!" he shouted ignited his blade and ran at the two Champions
"Wizardmon, if you please" Kyubimon said
"Very well, MAGICAL GAME!" he shouted as his staff glowed brightly before a cloud of mist appeared making Musyamon freeze and scan the environment looking for any clue where they were, only to be blasted by nine small fireballs from behind, making him swing at that direction before a ball of energy struck him on the side making him stab the air. More fireballs struck the samurai causing him to shouted before swinging wildly
"THUNDER SQUALL!" Wizardmon called out creating a thundercloud which struck Musyamon; shocking him giving Kyubimon enough time to get into the air and make herself a wheel of flames
"DRAGON WHEEL!" she shouted as the wheel of flames became a Japanese dragon and raced over to Musyamon, scorching his armour. Snarling he looked at the two champions, only to put his sword away and run into the fog.
"STOP HIM!" Karma shouted only to have Musyamon fly at him
"Musyamon: Champion level Virus Wizard Digimon" a voice growled as Veedramon emerged from the mist "HAMMER PUNCH!" he shouted as he reared his fist back and charged it, upper cutting Musyamon into the sky
"FOX TAIL INFERNO!" Kyubimon attacked firing nine smaller fireballs into the sky
"THUNDER BOMB!" Wizardmon shouted before throwing an orb of energy which exploded, deleting Musyamon.
"That was close" Nagisa said as he appeared while the fog faded while the champions reverted to Rookie form
"Nagisa!" Karma shouted
"About time" Suguya sighed fist bumping Maehara while the girls all hugged
"Where the shit are we?" Karma asked
"You wouldn't believe us if we even tried, anyway I'm sure Armadillomon can fill you guys in" Maehara said
"Agreed" Nagsia said as he saw the Gekkomon were coming out of hiding "We did some good work here today"
"I Guess we did" Maehara said before they were all teleported back to the citadel.
Once they were back, the four new guardians looked around, Suguya finding the nearest thing that looks like a bin
"And there's the first" Armadillomon said smiling
"An armadillo?" Okuda said looking at it
"Sure am, rather an Armadillomon" he said smiling holding a paw out to which the young chemist shook smiling
"Hey Armadillomon, something happened in the field" Nagisa said
"Digivolution" Armadillomon, "Now I'm sure you would like an explanation, but it would seem that you all need to relax" he said "So why not head down to the local bath"
"You have a bath here?" Kurahashi asked
"Indeed; we digimon love getting into some hot water to relax" Armadillomon said happily
"Where is it?" Yada asked
"I know the one he's talking about, it just opened recently and has special services for those who are human" Renamon said
"Lead the way my foxy friend" Rio said as the girls and their partners left, unaware that there was a signal being activate near a beach.
G'Day Guys Grizz here and that was the next group taking some inspiration from Digimon Adventure 02's Big trouble in Little Edo when Ninjamon first show up, fun episode and three digivolutions this time around. Yes I know it wasn't much they did but at lest the team now has three champion digimon of Veedramon, Kyubimon and Wizardmon, now I hope you like the change of Champion for Veemon but like I said last time I might be doing shifting digivolutions during the earth chapters.
