Silver crow; Thanks! Yeah, it's around there. She probably was the one who beat him, probably the reason why she was named Mizukage. Mei will. We'll see what happens there. Seems like Ryou did yeah. That's if they followed their trail, they could have destroyed the village regardless, something Shisui didn't want. Shisui and Zabuza have an understanding with one another. They did yeah, Shisui knew it had to be talked about, Ryouta also knew he might have to kill. Yeah, it probably would be counted. Haku's a gentle person so she didn't want to harm someone she thought was a good person. If you look at his crimes from different angles, they could be considered good, at least some of them. I'm sure Ameyuri would. Yeah, seems Zabuza felt something when Ryouta spoke to him. Not yet, but Ryouta will contribute in his way. Yeah. RWBY is pretty good. Yeah, sounds good for My Hero. Probably something like that, it would be fun to play around with an idea like that. Yeah, that looks pretty fun, maybe once we know more about them. Harry Potter, probably not. Yeah, could be friends with them. Tomura's little brother came second in the poll. We'll see what happens with his Sharingan. I've got some names in the works for them, not fully decided yet. Maybe in the future if she did have some kind of bloodline. Shisui and Ryouta are full siblings. The massacre is going to be quite something. He'll use bladed weapons yeah. Brainstorm Sorcerer; Yup, it's going to be quite the battle~ Ryou seemed to get through to them a little bit huh. Lets see how things play out for them. Shisui and Zabuza have some respect for the other. You never know, it might happen like that, his third tomoe could appear in this chapter. That would be pretty cool if he did a fire Rasengan like that. He could learn that technique. Shisui might have to use it briefly. Tobi is watching the events unfurl. They could come and help out yeah. It could resemble one of those yeah. The Sharingan brothers sounds pretty cool~ Even without them, the fact he's fighting in this battle will earn him recognition within a few circles.
HolyKnightX; Thanks! Ooh yeah, Zabuza's mostly participating knowing he doesn't have much of a choice, but he does have some respect for the two Uchiha brothers. Yeah, they had a good interaction between Haku and Ryouta. You never know, maybe Zabuza will end up doing something like that. He could learn that yeah~

Well, with those lovely reviews out of the way, it's time to start the chapter!
Battling the mist!
Finally the time of the attack was starting there and then. Shisui, Zabuza, Ryouta, and Haku stood together while the villagers had been evacuated to a safe area. Shisui looked towards Ryouta, who did the same thing.
"Remember Ryou, you've got intelligence behind you, you use that and make sure you stay alive. I'll fight the heavy hitters, I'll need you to be my support since I can't fully trust Zabuza."
Zabuza huffed.
"I'm standing right here."
Shisui's eyes met with Zabuza's, the pair sharing a small glare between them.
"Lets be real, we don't trust one another."
Shisui dead panned him.
Zabuza shrugged, not really caring either way.
"You've got a point, I don't trust you and you don't trust me either. It's a good thing we aren't trusting, makes it all the more interesting, doesn't it?" Shisui just glanced at him, so Zabuza smirked. "Haku, stay with that boy, make sure he doesn't try and back stab me or something like that."
Shisui found that an odd request.
Even if Ryouta took Zabuza by surprise, he doubted that Ryouta would be able to finish Zabuza off in his current level of power unless Zabuza truly wasn't expecting it, which didn't seem the case, or if Ryouta had somehow managed to use his smarts to draw Zabuza towards a place filled with paper bombs, of if Zabuza was injured to the point that he couldn't fight anymore.
Other than those instances, Shisui couldn't think of another reason why Zabuza would want Haku to watch Ryouta.
"Yes, Zabuza-sama."
Haku accepted it immediately.
Ryouta looked towards Haku, and wondered if Zabuza was worried about her right now. If he wasn't, then he would be worried, and make sure that she was safe and sound.
Shisui directed his hand upwards, and a number of crows came flying down.
Zabuza watched them flapping their wings, and how they were able to communicate information to Shisui, Ryouta thought it was really cool that Shisui could summon crows like that, he wondered if he'd be able to do that.
"Right, from what my crows are telling me, there's a good number of strong chakras coming from the east, and the north. South is pretty clear with only a few incoming, and west has a few more than south but not much."
"I'll take east, you take north, so you're closest to west, and I'll be closest to south."
Zabuza surmised, Shisui didn't have any major problems with that.
"Shi-chan...Haku-san and I will take west."
Shisui lightly smiled.
"Right, you've got the traps set, be ready to use them."
"Understood!"
Ryouta bowed, and walked off together with Haku.
Shisui's eyes went towards Zabuza.
"Tell me, what's the real reason you want Haku-san with Ryou?"
"What I said wasn't a lie, you never know what you Uchiha guys are going to do."
Zabuza laughed it off as if it wasn't really anything to worry about.
"Yeah, right. There's another reason, right?"
"If I want Haku with your brother, then that's my business. Perhaps I don't want to lose a valuable tool until she becomes a true tool for me."
Shisui shook his head, he just couldn't believe what he was going on.
They then split up, with the night sky blackening their view. Ryouta though used his Sharingan and allowed it to shine, while Haku held onto a senbon, Zabuza held his large sword tightly, and Shisui held out the tanto that he received from Ryouta a good while ago.
No one made a noise, and waited for the enemies to make their movements known.
But then as they waited, mist began to form around them.
Haku glanced at Ryouta, who did the same thing.
"Hiding in Mist Jutsu..."
"Yes, they're aware of your Sharingan, they wont allow you to use them to the most effective ways possible. However, this will also work in our advantage..." Haku's eyes glance in the direction of Zabuza, but couldn't see him. "Zabuza-sama..."
"Don't worry about Zabuza-san, he'll be fine. Lets make sure we survive."
"Yes...you're right, lets watch each other's backs."
Haku nodded, and waited as the enemy approached faster and faster.
When they got close, Ryouta took out a kunai, and charged forward.
"Geez, this kids brave."
"Lets just take him out quickly."
"He's nothing compared to us."
The Ninja attacking thought it was rather funny to see that Ryouta was coming at them…
That was until Haku released a number of senbon from behind Ryouta, and pierced through several targeted points which held some wire, which activated, and some came from behind the men, dragging them forward before they could react, pulling them into the hole that was on the ground.
Falling deeper into the ground, they groaned and winced at the feeling.
They glanced around, and saw that there were wire attached to the walls.
Ryouta appeared above them, and pulled on one of the wires, causing them to be bound together, wrapping around them endlessly.
They looked towards Ryouta, unable to move, and saw him giving them curious looks.
"Don't kill us!"
"Yeah, you crazy kid!"
"Don't even try it!"
They complained, while Ryouta just stared on.
Their eyes were filled with dark intentions.
They would kill him if they had the chance.
Seeing them getting out of the wire, and some actually preparing to attack them.
He thought maybe the wire would hold.
But they had used some Water Release to break through the wire.
Ryouta knew he didn't have a choice.
"Sorry..."
Ryouta simply cut a wire which dropped a large bunch of stones down the hole, trapping them and even killing some of them. They didn't have time to weave through hand signs to save themselves, and now their arms were pinned so they didn't have the ability to fight on.
Ryouta breathed in and out slowly, trying to catch his breath.
Haku walked to the side of him, placing a hand on top of his own.
"That...your first time?"
"Yes..."
He spoke, his eyes still on the rock filled hole.
"Are you okay?"
"...Yes, I am. I...I am...don't worry, Haku-san. It's the life of a Ninja...I'm okay. I prepared myself...they were evil, I saw their eyes. They would have killed us without remorse."
"Even good people have to kill bad people sometimes for the safety of those we love. I still think you're a very kind person Ryouta-san. And yes...they would have ended us if we didn't stop them here."
Ryouta appreciated Haku's kind words.
"Thank you Haku-san. Now we should-"
"Die!"
Suigetsu suddenly came charging for them, kunai in hand.
Because he was so close, Ryouta's Sharingan saw his speeding movements, allowing him to take out his own kunai, and block Suigetsu, as Haku took out some senbons, and launched them towards Suigetsu's neck to try and knock him out.
But the senbons suddenly slid through his body, which looked like water all of a sudden.
"Kehehehe, you can't get through my body with mere weapons~"
That caught both Ryouta and Haku off guard, allowing Suigetsu to pull backwards, before pointing his finger towards Ryouta, and shot his finger like a gun, releasing a fast moving bullet of water.
Ryouta moved his neck out of the way, but the water sliced his cheek due to how fast it was moving, Ryouta didn't wince though.
Placing a hand to his cheek, he merely whipped his hand to the side, showing to Suigetsu that it didn't bother him, recalling how Shisui said to never give even an inch towards an enemy, never allow them to realize what state of mind they were in.
"Can't figure out my Jutsu, can you? Even though you're supposed to be a skilled guy, you wont be able to figure me out!"
Suigetsu boasted, Ryouta though showed that he wasn't bothered, something that irritated Suigetsu to no end.
Haku got beside Ryouta, and took aim towards Suigetsu, the same for Ryouta.
"Ryouta-san, lets work together."
"Right, whatever weird Jutsu he's using, it must have some kind of weakness."
"Yes, my thoughts exactly."
Whatever kind of Jutsu he just used, Ryouta and Haku knew it was something that would be annoying to deal with, and they were going to try their hardest in dealing with it, no matter what since they had jobs to do.
As that happened, Shisui released a small wind Jutsu around him to blow the fog away, so he'd be able to make more uses of his Sharingan, and he got the chance when a number of people attempted to get in close, only for Shisui to flash to each of them, and cut them down.
However, as he did, Kushimaru's long sewing needle like blade shot forward, attempting to pierce through Shisui, only for Shisui to parry the thrown blade with his own, however Kushimaru pulled on the wire, and forced it to try and come around the back of Shisui's body.
Shisui expected it, disappearing with a small flash, Kushimaru winced, trying to pull his blade backwards, only to see that Shisui had already appeared to the right hand side of him, wordlessly taking his blade to cut him down…
Kushimaru smirked.
"Fool, think that I'd leave myself open like that!"
Kushimaru yelled, and a bunch of men and women attempted to try and take Shisui from behind.
However, Shisui merely threw a shuriken towards a tree, cutting through one wire, which gave a chain reaction to the others, which allowed many wires to appear through the trees, which blocked the enemies path, bound them in some cases, or even sliced deep into them at other parts, allowing Shisui to take out different shurikens, and aimed them so precisely that he took them all down with shurikens, making sure they couldn't fight against him anymore.
Shisui counted over twenty taken down by the trap Ryouta had set, something Shisui was proud to see that his brothers traps did work rather well.
Shisui had to guess these Ninja's were most likely Chunin level for the most part. Low Chunin at that. So, he could see that they'd fall for the traps, but he also saw that some did manage to avoid it, so he guessed they were the Jonin level opponents, Shisui presumed they'd be somewhat annoying to deal with.
"Shit...in one trap...I thought we had prepared for traps, but we didn't even see it. It was so well hidden...tch, they wont get away with this, I'll make sure that they disappear for this. Zabuza, working with Konoha Ninja, disgusting."
Kushimaru was beyond surprised.
He didn't expect that a trap could be well hidden and take them down within a few moments.
"We weren't just twiddling our thumbs, waiting for you."
Shisui said with a strong look, Kushimaru got his sword, and tried to parry Shisui's slice, but the blade moved fast, cutting into his right hand side, slicing deeply within him...only to see that it dispersed into water.
Shisui lightly smiled "Water clone." as he turned right, seeing the faintest of movements coming from that direction, and blocked a well time throw by Kushimaru, then he placed his hands together, and weaved through hand signs so fast that Kushimaru didn't even detect the smallest of movements until it was too late.
"Fire Release, Great Fireball Jutsu!"
Shisui's giant fireball released out of his mouth, directing it at Kushimaru, who grimaced, and weaved through some hand signs himself, but by the time he did, the fireball was right on him, and he couldn't avoid it…
However, Mangetsu then announced "Water Release, Water Wall!" a stream of water formed around Kushimaru, trying to block the flames of Shisui's.
But Shisui's flames were strong, powerful, and the water wasn't able to hold the flames back for long, less than five seconds.
Those five seconds allowed Kushimaru to jump away, and gave him time to try a sneak attack from the right hand sign, but thanks to the mist not being a factor, Shisui saw him quite well, and locked eyes with him, activating his Sharingan…
Or he went to do that, when Kushimaru grabbed one Ninja and flung him before him, with wire attached to him, controlling him like a puppet, so Shisui placed the man being controlled under a Genjutsu, knocking him out.
But even passed out, Kushimaru tried to use him as a weapon, only for Shisui to slice through the wires, and dropped the body to the ground, his eyes going for Kushimaru's, but he was wise enough to not make direct contact with Shisui.
"Alright then, so I've got two of you guys. I suppose there's no chance of a truce, is there?"
Shisui said, seeing Mangetsu jumping down towards Kushimaru, followed by a number of people following him.
"Nope, you're a strong Ninja, we'd get a good standing if we take out Konoha's Shisui of the Body Flicker."
Shisui exhaled, and prepared himself for another fight.
"Alright then, I can't hold back anymore."
Kushimaru felt some fear running through him.
He...was holding back?
Or was that a tactic to merely cause worry to spread amongst his enemies?
Whatever it was, Kushimaru wasn't going to give an inch, he was going to show his strength and power.
Meanwhile, Zabuza few a bunch of enemies come for him, so he took his long and strong sword, and swung it with high speed, cleaving through a number of Ninja, and continued going forward, swinging his blade around like a madman, cutting down enemy Ninja like they were nothing.
"Tch, sending out fledging Ninja to try and take me down? These fools must thing that I'm weak. I'll show them."
Zabuza didn't like how he was being underestimated.
He wanted a challenge.
In all honesty, he wanted to face Shisui.
He then saw a few Ninja trying to do some Water Release towards Zabuza, but Zabuza launched himself head first, getting before them, and used the hole at the top of his sword, forced someone's head through it, and then tossed him, catching some others in the blade of his swing, towards a hole that was set up the days before.
Landing deep within it, Zabuza saw the paper bombs, albeit barely due to the heavy fog that was around, and then smirked.
"So, they did line them with paper bombs. Sneaky Uchiha."
Zabuza said with a bloodthirsty smile.
Taking out a single kunai with a paper bomb attached to it, he tossed it towards the hole, and caused it to explode, killing a few people within a moment.
Zabuza returned to the ground, in time to see another Ninja trio coming towards him, all with some tanto's, so Zabuza took his blade, blocked the left one, then embedded his foot into the right one coming, all the while turning his blade to block off the last one that came for him, and with a single flick of his blade, smashed them all together, allowing Zabuza to take a big swing, and cut through all three of them.
As he was, he saw that there was some kind of unrolling sound going on.
Since the mist was somewhat thick around him, Zabuza relied on his ears for assistance.
That's when he knew what it was, so he jumped out of the way, as the parchment looking roll of paper bombs tried to wrap around him.
Jinpachi then came shooting for him, trying to move the paper bomb scroll sword to go around Zabuza, when Zabuza clasped his hands together, and inhaled deeply.
"Water Release, Water Bullet Jutsu!"
From Zabuza's mouth, a powerful stream shot forward, forcing Jinpachi to launch his exploding sword to pierce through the water, and set off the explosions, dispelling the water, but Zabuza didn't even allow him to get much chance to do anything else, leaping forward, and swung his sword for Jinpachi, forcing the man to block with his blade, sparks being created between the two of them.
Zabuza then used his incredible strength to launch the man backwards, the force of his swing was strong enough to smash him into a tree, as Ninja shot for Zabuza, so he took to his blade, and used the swords edge to slice right through them after revealing his own mist around him within a few seconds.
"Never use Hiding in Mist with me, I'm on a new level with that against you guys."
Zabuza's bone chilling words caused Jinpachi to shiver.
Even as heartless as he was, he wasn't sure if he'd be able to hold him off forever, and knew they'd have to try even harder.
Back with Ryouta, and Haku, they came up against Suigetsu who was acting cocky, so Haku stepped up.
"I'll test his reflexes."
Haku said, jumping forward, and took out several kunai, launching them with precision, cutting through the water of Suigetsu's body, Ryouta furrowed his brows at the sight, it was clear that fighting Suigetsu was going to take more than merely throwing some kunai towards him.
"Since he's able to turn into water, then perhaps my fire can evaporate his body..."
Ryouta thought like that, knowing he'd have to increase the power of his flames to the highest they could go if he was going to catch Suigetsu and make sure that he would be stopped by the flames.
"Those eyes, you're an Uchiha, aren't you?"
Suigetsu asked Ryouta, who nodded.
"That's right, you're...actually, I don't know who you are."
Suigetsu's face scrunches up.
"Eeeeeh! B-But...well, that doesn't matter! My name is of no importance! I shall show you how strong my Jutsu are! You wont be able to escape, and you will end up being executed by my Jutsu! Hahaha! I love cutting things up, now I get to cut up an Uchiha! My brother would be so happy for me!"
Ryouta tried to work out Suigetsu, but he simply couldn't.
"You're very...into murder, aren't you?"
"Damn straight! And now I get to murder you! So have this barrage of my Water Gun Jutsu!"
The white haired boy aimed his fingers towards the pair, and then within a moment, unleashed a few bullets of water, so Ryouta placed his hands together, and formed his own Jutsu.
Inhaling deeper, Ryouta took aim, his Sharingan seeing the fast moving projectiles, allowing him the time to take perfect aim, to get both the Jutsu and Suigetsu himself, hoping to finger this in one strong burst of fire.
"Fire Release, Great Fireball Jutsu!"
Unleashing a flaming sphere from his mouth, Suigetsu's face paled.
He could see it coming in fast and hard, evaporating the bullets that Suigetsu had fired.
"Ooh shit...what fire..."
Suigetsu, rather than take it, jumped towards the right, running as fast as he could, barely missing the giant fireball compared to his small body.
But then he felt a chill in the air, which he found strange considering that Ryouta had just used a fireball to attack with.
He then looked forward, seeing a reflection of Haku, in a mirror made of ice.
"What the..."
Suigetsu wasn't the smartest, but even he knew that this was Ice Release.
However, what he didn't know was why Haku's image had appeared there.
Until she slid out of the mirror, and threw senbons at close range for him.
"Leave me alone you ice witch!"
Suigetsu let out a cry, and turned watery, allowing the senbons to go through his body, also realizing that Ryouta had thrown shurikens through his legs as well, as they landed before him.
Suigetsu grimaced, as Ryouta got towards Haku, and took a stance towards Suigetsu.
"I thought maybe it would only be select parts...but, it seems he can make his entire body into water..."
"Yes, it's a strong ability to get around."
Haku replied, trying to think of a way for them to beat him.
"I've never heard of this ability before. I presume it's a Land of Water Kekkei Genkai? I've heard of some that cause the body to go through some weird mutation, or grow extra limbs, things like that."
Ryouta admitted and then asked, Haku though narrowed her eyebrows.
"If I'm right, then the Jutsu is a Secret ability of the Hozuki Clan, allowing them to liquefy their bodies, and allow normal attacks to pass through them as if they weren't being hit. But they do have a weakness, I think that's why he dodged your fire attack Ryouta-san."
Ryouta, upon hearing that, wondered how they'd get around it.
"It would make sense, fire would turn the water into vapour if the flames were hot enough."
Suigetsu, not liking how they were conversing, didn't allow them to do it for long, as he flicked his hand towards them, and shot off a volley of compressed water spheres.
But this time, Ryouta used his Sharingan to lock onto the blasted bullets of water, using a kunai to slice through them, then allowed Haku to toss a number of senbons towards him.
Like before, they went through him as if he wasn't there…
Rather, the watery form did shift slightly, but nothing substantial happened to Suigetsu.
Ryouta knew it would be difficult for them to lock him down for long, so Ryouta came up with an idea and whispered to Haku, who gave a single nod, before Ryouta took the first charge, and shot for Suigetsu at high speeds, shocking even Haku at the level of speed Ryouta had.
"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Wait a second!"
As those words left Suigetsu's lips, Ryouta's blade went right through Suigetsu's body.
Though due to its watery nature, it didn't hurt him.
However, he was forced to drop his weapon due to Ryouta attacking towards his hands as well, allowing Ryouta to pull backwards just enough to form some hand signs, Suigetsu's face dropped when seeing that.
"Wait! You can't fire that at me!"
Suigetsu cried out, Ryouta narrowed his eyebrows.
"Gonna give up then?"
"Yeah right!"
Suigetsu tried to fire off multiple bullets at close range, but Ryouta finished his hand signs, and then breathed out flames as he announced "Fire Release, Phoenix Sage Fire Jutsu!" and multiple fireballs came erupting outwards, clashing with Suigetsu's water, cancelling one another out.
But that allowed Ryouta to fling shuriken towards Suigetsu, coated in paper bombs towards the fire released.
"Ooh come on! Really!?"
"Yes, really! You're made of water, right? Then be exploded!"
Suigetsu's face paled, and he took off running, as explosions erupted behind him.
The explosions kept on going, blasting him away with the shockwave of the attack.
His body hit a tree, and went to disperse due to the impact…
When Suigetsu felt cold all of a sudden.
He looked back, and saw that there was some kind of ice growing across the tree.
"W-What the hell...t-the ice girl! Sh-Shit!"
"With this..." Haku began, appearing from behind the tree, her fingers touching said tree. "...you shall be frozen. Water, freezes quite easily with my Jutsu. Even your watery body, would have a weakness to my ice."
Suigetsu's face fell, the ice wrapped around him a cocoon. Ryouta walked over to Haku, and offered his hand for a high five.
She looked perplexed, so Ryouta took her hand, and placed it against his, high fiving her.
"Good job Haku-san! We did it!"
Haku looked at their connected hands.
Then towards Ryouta's face.
Seeing his happy face, Haku was perplexed even more.
She didn't think she did anything extra ordinary…
But from the looks of it, it seemed as if to Ryouta at least, she had done something interesting.
"Ah...erm...yes, well done also."
Ryouta chortled at her weird ways.
But he wouldn't change her.
"Then, lets go Haku-san, he'll be there for a while. We've got some people to take care of."
"Understood."
Haku and Ryouta took off together, leaving Suigetsu frozen to a tree.
He wiggled around, but he couldn't get out of the tree.
"C-Come on! You can't leave me here! I'm cold!"
Silence…
That's all Suigetsu could get.
He exhaled sadly, and bowed his head in resignation.
Up above, keeping himself hidden from Shisui, and the Mist, Tobi's lone eye looked at how Ryouta handled the situation, and his lips curled upwards.
"It seems that you are pretty smart boy, coming up with an idea to pin down that water boy, and working with comrades...and you also made your first kill. Seeing your ability to remain kind and defend...lets see what else you do."
Tobi's lone eye continued to watch the events unfurl, making sure that no one would find him, he still needed to stay hidden after all.
Meanwhile, Shisui was being confronted by Mangetsu, Kushimaru, and a few other Ninja. Shisui could tell by the way they held themselves, that they were Jonin class, the Ninja that weren't Kushimaru or Mangetsu.
Mangetsu revealed the Kabutowari blade, the hammer and axe duo, and Shisui remembered what the blade actually did, so he would have to be careful or he'd be split down with that type of weapon attacking him.
Kushimaru looked on with a creepy expression, then began laughing.
"Finally, we get to take down Shisui Uchiha."
"No, you get to fight Shisui Uchiha."
Shisui shot back, Mangetsu bit his lip and thought "Damn that was cool..." but then he caught himself praising Shisui in his mind, and berated himself "Don't praise him, he's the damn enemy!" before taking a stance.
"Allow me to go first!"
Mangetsu jumped forward, and wielded the axe and hammer blade together, coming down towards Shisui, but Shisui used his Sharingan to predict his movements, avoiding the attack which slammed into the ground.
But as he did, a few of the Jonin Ninja came for Shisui, one from the right, and one from the left, each wielding swords, Shisui activated his Body Flicker as they swung towards him, disappearing as their blades came down, and they met one another where Shisui's body was, causing their blades to create sparks.
Shisui then appeared above them, slamming his feet deeply into their faces, and sent them flying backwards, hitting trees, and knocked them out, as Kushimaru tried to fling his wire around Shisui to bind him.
But as he returned to the ground, Shisui allowed chakra to flow through his sword, flames erupting off the blade and cut through the wire as if it was butter, burning through the metal wire, as another Ninja came forward.
"Water Release-"
Before he could finish, Shisui threw several shurikens into the body of the man, taking care of him…
But then he felt the ground below him erupting, so he jumped to see two hands coming out, Shisui however wasn't going to allow himself to be grabbed, and swung his flaming sword downwards, cutting deep into the man's hands, causing the flames of the sword to transfer to the man's hands, burning them enough to force a retreat.
As he did that, three Jonin Ninja came towards him, and each announced "Water Release, Water Bullet Jutsu!", firing off streams of water, Shisui raised an eyebrow, as he weaved through his own hand signs so fast that no one could see them.
"Fire Release, Great Fireball Jutsu!"
Seeing from his mouth, a large globe of fire erupted out, and clashed with the water Jutsu. Even three users of water wasn't getting through Shisui's Jutsu, it was something that Kushimaru couldn't even comprehend.
Mangetsu on the other hand wouldn't allow Shisui to get that far, so he jumped towards him, and brought down Kabutowari towards the boy, Shisui glanced up at him, before activating Body Flicker, however Mangetsu thought that Shisui wouldn't be able to do it so fast, and his blade cleaved right through Shisui.
"Sorry Shisui Uchiha, but you've..."
Mangetsu stopped when seeing that there was no blood.
The image even turned to Mangetsu and just stared at him.
"A-A clone? But it didn't disappear...it's not a Water Clone, or even a Shadow Clone..."
"It's that damn speed clone thing he did when we first fought!"
Kushimaru snapped, seeing that the fire Jutsu had cancelled out the three water releases.
Then he saw Shisui's body appear before the three…
No, not just one, but six bodies appeared around the men.
One in front, and one behind each of them.
They took out weapons, and clashed with the ones before them, feeling the mass of the attacks landing. But then felt sharp blows to the back of their heads one after the other within moments of each other, their eyes widening, and they fell unconscious.
Shisui's eyes turned towards Kushimaru and Mangetsu, both wearing nervous looks.
Seeing his incredible speed, it wasn't any wonder why they felt as nervous as they did.
It was a scary concept to think about.
How fast he was.
Kushimaru didn't know what was going on. He couldn't fathom how Shisui was doing this.
Mangetsu on the other hand showed more intelligence, and figured it out when seeing how Shisui took down the clones.
"Using that damn Body Flicker, he can move so fast that afterimages of himself appear. They have no mass, but Shisui can move between them, and deliver an attack through any of them. He moves so fast that he can do it within seconds, maybe even a second apart. That's why they all clashed blades at the same time, and how they were knocked out. This is beyond dangerous, he can slip between them, and we'd be none the wiser to which one we're supposed to be dealing with, and unlike Shadow Clones, these don't disappear when they receive a slashing or a blow of some kind, since they aren't even there...I have to use myself to distract him so Kushimaru can get in a hit. Though I don't care if Kushimaru lives or dies here, I wont be able to make a retreat if Shisui isn't at least injured. I don't think we can win this...but we can wound him."
Mangetsu decided that within his mind, and then jumped to Kushimaru, and whispered to him, as the last remaining Jonin went for Shisui.
"Have this!"
"Die!"
"We'll kill you!"
The men charged, swords in hand.
Water was useless, they had seen it.
They didn't have a choice other than to attack head on.
Shisui used his flaming sword to cut through each of their weapons, causing them to turn into melting messes as each moment passed them by, and continued for their bodies, cutting deeply into them, the flames scorching their bodies to the point they'd not be able to keep moving anymore.
Once they had been dispatched, Shisui turned his attention towards the last remaining pair.
"Then, here I go!"
Using his incredible speed, Shisui shot forward.
He went for Kushimaru, but Mangetsu charged, and swung his sword down towards Shisui, who expertly dodged out of the way, seeing how strong the attack was, then followed up with his flaming tanto towards Mangetsu's face.
Mangetsu held up his finger though, right beside Shisui's temple, a bullet of water escaped his finger to pierce through Shisui's head, but his speed was enough to dodge a point blank range attack, the bullet sailing over his face, as his flaming tanto came up to slice him down.
Despite using his hammer to block the strike, Mangetsu felt the flames coming off of the blade, and felt it on his skin. Even with his watery form, the flames weren't escaping him, and he was almost certainly going to evaporate if this continued on.
Mangetsu didn't give up, and came up with his axe, but an afterimage clone of Shisui came off him, seeing that it blocked the strike, while also keeping the hammer at bay, Mangetsu didn't even want to know how fast Shisui was moving for him to accomplish that.
"Do you think that's enough to beat me? I wont give up!"
"I understand, I like that attitude of yours to never give up. I think it is what makes it all the more worth it."
Shisui admitted.
He found the fact that Mangetsu wasn't complaining about losing.
He was trying to win against all the odds.
So Shisui took his sword, and pierced it through his stomach, dispelling the flames as to not kill him, but when his blade went through...it was like water, he saw some water splashing out of his body, Mangetsu then grabbed Shisui's arm.
"What.…"
"Kushimaru! Now!"
Kushimaru threw his blade right for Shisui, through Mangetsu who didn't even bat an eyelid.
Seeing his watery form, Shisui looked into Mangetsu's eyes, catching his gaze, and then forced a Genjutsu onto him.
Surrounded by crows, they flapped their wings up above, and let out a deathly scary cawing sound.
Mangetsu looked up, seeing them coming down.
His eyes turned to Shisui, but saw that he had also turned into a flock of crows, that began to attack him.
He made it no secret that he was under a Genjutsu.
"N-No! Get away from me! Help me! Someone help me!"
Mangetsu's eyes widened in horror as the flock of crows took him over, pinning him down and swept him up in the wave of deadly looking crows.
In the real world, Mangetsu couldn't fight Shisui's Genjutsu, and ended up being knocked unconscious, his watery body turning to a jelly like substance, his grip dropped from Shisui's form, allowing Shisui to move around.
Grabbing Mangetsu's hand for the briefly of moments, the place his weapon was, Shisui began his move.
Tossing Mangetsu to the side, he parried Kushimaru's own blade, and then stuck his sword towards Kushimaru.
Kushimaru caught his own blade, and aimed it towards Shisui himself, but felt his hand shaking.
Shisui then spoke up.
"Now you're on your own, it's time to finish this."
Kushimaru panicked, and tried to attack Shisui, using his wire from his sewing needle like blade to create a wire that would wrap around and slice Shisui from multiple directions. It was vast, Shisui couldn't deny that.
He could see wires tied around the trees, and the ground, all ready to be taken towards his location and slice him from many different directions.
"Heh! You think you're so damn tough! But you don't know what tough is! Living within the Blood Mist sets you apart from the rest of the world! Because of that, I can take down even you, who's hailed as a very fast Ninja! Can you escape this?!"
Kushimaru pulled on the wire, and caused all of the wires around to go for Shisui, to cut him into very fine pieces of human body parts.
Shisui looked towards them all, before exhaling slowly, and flicked his hand, which caused Kabutowari, the sword Mangetsu had to suddenly come up, and like a boomerang, the axe sliced through the wires, thanks to Shisui's quick timing, allowing Shisui to skillfully avoid being sliced apart.
Kushimaru guessed when Shisui put Mangetsu under a Genjutsu, he also attached a wire of his own to his weapon in case he'd need it.
Kushimaru's eyes fell into despair, knowing he had only one trick left, and called "JINPACHI!" to the confusion of Shisui.
Meanwhile, Zabuza was handling Jinpachi rather well, blocking his incoming strikes, as well as the strikes of the others that kept coming for him, but Zabuza knew that he'd have to take them all down in one fell swoop or he'd eventually be overwhelmed.
"Demon of the Mist, teaming up with Konoha Ninja!"
"You didn't leave me with much choice."
Zabuza replied, and dodged one sword strike, allowing his blade to slice the man right down the middle, taking out a kunai, and embedded it into another one that came up towards him, only to kick him to Jinpachi to distract him.
Jinpachi blasted the man with his sword, only to see that Zabuza came at him with his blade ready to cleave him in half, he didn't have time to move, so he kicked one of the Ninja he brought with him in the way to slow down Zabuza's strike, which worked, the man cried out as Zabuza ended his life, the blade continued for Jinpachi.
Jinpachi managed to block with his blade because of that, and smirked.
"Sorry, it seems you've lost your edge a little bit Zabuza, didn't you expect me to use my comrades like that?"
"I wouldn't expect anything different from the untamed idiot such as yourself."
Jinpachi felt his rage growing.
He swung his blade against Zabuza's, causing an explosion, Zabuza fought off the explosion, and pushed himself forward, seeing his blade damaged slightly, however it was repaired when Zabuza cut down two more attacking Ninja, their blood soaking into the blade, which absorbed the iron in the blood to make it grow and be as if it hadn't been damaged in the first place.
"Well, would you look at that, you're still as inept as before, Jinpachi."
Jinpachi felt his anger growing more and more.
"You piece of shit...you wont get one up over me! You wont be able to even blink by the time I've done with you!"
"Hmph, it does take more than half a brain cell to blink, I guess that's why you only have one eye now, huh?"
Jinpachi gave a crazed cackling sound.
"Trying to wear me down with your quips. It wont save you in the end."
"Who said anything about saving me in the end? You'll need saving from me, or did you forget who you're fighting?"
Zabuza watched a few more came for him, so he took out some kunai, attached with some paper bombs, and threw them straight at the enemies bodies, piercing their flesh, and they exploded to the point that they were killed.
Zabuza used that to try and catch Jinpachi up in the confusion, but Jinpachi didn't allow him closer, slamming his exploding sword downwards, caused it to detonate a good deal, Zabuza flipped in the air, as he saw a few more Ninja coming for him.
So he weaved through some hand signs, and caused the mist to thicken around him.
"You little shit!"
Jinpachi allowed his sword to detonate a few times, creating a shockwave to blow away the mist so he could see what was going on.
When he did, he saw that Zabuza was making a retreat.
"As if I'd let you!"
Jinpachi placed his hands together, and did a few hand signs, before finishing off, with his last one allowing him to inhale a deep breath, before he exhaled it, and announced "Water Release, Wild Water Wave!" and from his mouth, after kneading the chakra, water spewed out of his mouth like a wave.
Jinpachi then allowed his paper bombs to go into the water, carrying off by the water wave.
Zabuza glanced back, then his hands did a few hand signs, before the water wave hit him, as Jinpachi smirked.
"All good things, come to an end. Explode."
Snapping his fingers, the explosive tags within the water, detonated, and took Zabuza's body up with it, in a fantastical explosion of power that made Jinpachi feel good…
But then he saw that there wasn't any blood.
No corpse.
No nothing.
Confusion came over him, then he remembered Zabuza doing some hand signs, his face turning darker.
"Water Clone...damn shit!"
Jinpachi took off running to find Zabuza, together with the others following behind him.
Zabuza made it to the place he wanted to go, a large body of water.
Now, he was in his element.
As he weaved through hand signs, Jinpachi managed to catch up with him, and tried to attack, only for Zabuza to grab his blade, and combat Jinpachi's with a wild swing, their blades clanging together dangerously, the force was enough to make Jinpachi back off.
Zabuza then finished his hand signs.
"Then this is it, Jinpachi." Zabuza's eyes dangerously shot for Jinpachi and the others coming for him. "Water Release, Great Waterfall Jutsu!"
Zabuza allowed his chakra to enter the water, and caused it to rapidly move. The water then rises up into the air, growing higher and higher. Jinpachi knew this was dangerous, he didn't have time to even perform his own Jutsu, and tried to retreat, but that wasn't going to be allowed with Zabuza around.
It then came down in a vortex like movements, but resembled a waterfall by how much water was being used, and shot at the opponent all at once.
The men that were following Jinpachi were swept up within the water, the rapidly spinning water, smashing them into the ground with enough force to kill them, Jinpachi screamed "Screw you!" trying to use his blade to blast the water away.
But he couldn't do that.
The vortex slammed against him, the giant waterfall of water swept a good part of the forest away with its power, then continued on towards the village, Jinpachi's lone eye was displaying terror, feeling his body being smashed and then flung into the village, his face slamming on the ground, hard.
Jinpachi grimaced as he landed on the ground, feeling blood and wounds erupting all over him. He wasn't able to move much, and his eyes were glazed over in worry, knowing that Zabuza wouldn't hold back, and he'd die by his hand now.
Zabuza, with a small pant, took his blade, and walked back over towards him…
But suddenly, Kushimaru's voice calling "JINPACHI!" could be heard, Zabuza saw that Jinpachi suddenly had a change, and his sword stabbed into the ground, causing an explosion, so Zabuza backed off.
He went towards Kushimaru as Shisui tried to intercept them, but Jinpachi swung his sword for him as he, and Kushimaru did some hand signs.
Blood were on their fingers, and then they slammed their hands down and pooled their chakra together as they announced "Summoning Jutsu!" which summoned some kind of large crab like creature to the area.
It blew out of its mouth, bubbles were dispersed the mist surrounding them. It was twice as tall as an average two story building, its claws looked ready to snap people in half, and its eyes were dangerous looking.
"Ryouta-san..."
"Yeah...that's..."
Haku and Ryouta looked towards the giant crab, who's eyes went towards the pair of them, before turning its claws onto them.
Ryouta and Haku grimaced at the sight of it, while Shisui tightened his hand, and prepared to fight.
Meanwhile Mei, her associate Ao, and a few other Kiri Ninja were currently heading towards the location they believed the traitors of the Ninja Swordsmen to be, and tried to make it in time.
Though the darkness had come and surrounded them, due to it being night, Mei wasn't going to give up, and find a way for her to get what she wanted.
Ao looked on, and activated the byakugan within his eye, and saw the battle going on…
Then he saw a very familiar chakra signature.
"...That's...Shisui Uchiha's..."
"Shisui Uchiha...Shisui of the Body Flicker..."
Mei mused.
She didn't like the idea of facing Shisui.
Even as strong as she was, she knew that she'd probably be no match for him in a fight.
Ao nodded slowly.
"He's famed for his speed, and Genjutsu usage. From what I can tell from here, the fights are beginning to..." He paused, when he saw the summon appear. "...A summoning has appeared. A giant crab."
"A giant crab...we have to move even quicker. It means that the battle is nearing its end!"
"Are you sure...?"
Ao began, Mei narrowed her eyebrows.
"Trust me, one way or another, this fight is about to come to its end. Is Zabuza still there?"
"Yes, he's still there."
"Then we'll get the drop on him, capture him and take him back along with the others that betrayed the village."
"You heard her everyone! Move faster!"
[Yes Sir! Ma'am!]
Replying to the pair of them, they moved as fast as they could.
Ryouta and Haku, staring at the eyes of the crab, suddenly saw the bubbles shooting down towards them. Haku and Ryouta then took off running, seeing the bubbles hitting the ground, and caused a hole within the earth.
Ryouta even saw the crabs legs moving and breaking through some of the houses.
"Ryou!"
Shisui called, and went to move, when a few remaining Ninja jumped him.
Shisui growled, and began using his speed to blitz them, and make sure that he'd be able to get to his elder brother.
Zabuza on the other hand went towards the two Ninja Swordsmen, with his eyes narrowed upon them.
As the crab moved, its giant legs tore into the ground, and by a few trees, one were Suigetsu was frozen, his face fell, and he kept rapidly shaking around, trying to break out of the ice, but he wasn't able to do that.
"HELP! COME ON! I DON'T WANT TO BE CRAB FOOD!"
Suigetsu cried, the giant crabs leg stabbed into the ground near him, the shaking of the ground was enough for the ice to weaken to the point Suigetsu could break out of it, and turn into a liquid form, going towards his brother.
The crab continued going for Ryouta and Haku, the former took out some shurikens, coated with some paper bombs, tossing them for the body of the crab, but the bubbles came down, and caused them to explode premature, only dispelling some of the bubbles.
But they kept going for them both.
"I wish I could freeze it...my power couldn't do anything on that scale right now."
Haku said sadly, Ryouta furrowed his brows.
"I don't know what to do either. If I could get off a good Fire Release into its mouth, then maybe I could cook it from the inside...but those bubbles are getting in the way, and it wont let its guard down..."
Ryouta and Haku continued to run, the claws of the crab came down, so they jumped above the claw, but the second one came down rapidly towards them, forcing them to jump forward.
The shockwave of the impact though threw them off their feet, slamming hard into the ground.
Ryouta's eyes turned back to see the crabs claw going for Haku herself, who was recovering from the attack.
She was going to be crushed...
He wouldn'tn make it in time to help her...
Haku herself was also stunned, so she wouldn't be able to react in time to it.
Ryouta didn't want Haku to die.
She had already been through a lot.
He wanted to show her that there were things in the world that were good.
But if she was going to die...
It was in the moments Ryouta was worried about Haku, when something happened.
His vision was changing more.
As if he was seeing in slow motion, he could see the exact area that the crab was going to slam down, how it was going to bring down its claw, down to the last detail.
Within both eyes, another tomoe was added, bringing them to a total of three in each eye.
Tobi's lone eye widened slightly when he saw that.
"So...he's fully matured his Sharingan. The desire to protect that girl...it pushed his Sharingan further, along with the battles he's had. The first run in with that ice girl, then the Mist Ninja, and now the Mist Ninja again along with the summon. With battle, and usage, the Sharingan does indeed evolve, and he's been in more battles with it, along with his training with Shisui who's been teaching him how to use his Sharngan, I'm not that surprised that it evolved here and now, in a time of panic. Yes...this is working out exactly how I wanted it."
Tobi smirked evilly under his mask.
Everything Tobi wished for, was coming true, and was excited to see what was going to happen next.
Back with Ryouta, he was seeing more than before, he was seeing things differently.
"...I can see what it's going to do perfectly...the smallest movements...the opening of its claw...the way its body moves, how it's going to attack...it's amazing...is this how Shi-chan sees it all of the time...? With this...I can save Haku-san...I will save Haku-san."
Because of that predictive capability his Sharingan provided, Ryouta managed to rush forward, using speed that even surprised Haku and got before her.
Grabbing her hand, Ryouta then used his eyes to jump through the slight opening within the crabs claw, along with Haku, and avoid being crushed.
Then he used the crab as a stepping stone, launching himself and Haku to a safe distance.
Landing on the ground, Ryouta continued running with Haku in his arms.
Haku's eyes go towards Ryouta, seeing that he was running with her in his arms.
She wore surprise on her face, as well as a small redness.
"Aah...erm...t-thank you for saving me."
Haku began, jumping out of Ryouta's arms, and continued running together with him.
"No problem! But we need to think of how to defeat this creature!"
Haku agreed.
But they didn't know what to do.
They didn't have the power to fight it head on.
They could clearly see it.
Haku saw Ryouta trying to take some more paper bombs out to attack, only for the crab to slam its leg before them, blocking off their path, so Ryouta and Haku were forced to deal with the bubbles coming for them.
"We don't have a choice, but to fight."
Haku surmised, Ryouta agreeing, but wasn't sure what they could do against it.
Shisui continued to finish off the Ninja coming for him, and saw Ryouta in a desperate situation, so he called "Ryou! Remember your Genjutsu training! Even a simple one can do wonders!" which caused Ryouta to blink.
Seeing the bubbles coming down, Haku trying to shoot them down with some of her senbons, but wasn't having much luck, Ryouta looked at Haku's face, recalling what she did with her ice mirrors beforehand.
How she could move pretty much anywhere.
He then looked down towards his paper bombs, and shurikens.
Looking at the giant crabs head once more, Ryouta nodded slowly.
"Haku-san, your ice mirrors, it allows you to go into the air, right?"
"Correct, but why are you asking?"
"Because, I'm going to distract it, then you can take these paper bombs and launch them at the enemy, it might be able to knock it off balance."
"How are you going to distract it?"
"My Sharingan."
Haku cocked an eyebrow up, wondering if he could do that.
His eyes went towards the giant crabs, and his Sharingan activated.
Trying to use Genjutsu, Ryouta hadn't attempted it in a real life battle yet, but he tried his hardest, and allowed his Sharingan tomoes to twirl within his eyes.
Pouring his chakra into it, Ryouta tried harder and harder to create an illusion.
A simple illusion for him to.
The crabs eyes and Ryouta's kept focused on one another.
The crab suddenly heard a sharp noise coming from the right hand side, almost a defeating noise within his hearing range.
The crabs eyes tilted ever so slightly, turning towards that direction, and swung its claws out, as Haku silently used her ice mirror to appear at the left hand side of the crabs head, and with the shurikens and bombs attacked, she tossed them with such force that the shurikens stabbed into the hard shell, and created a number of powerful explosions.
Haku then zoomed back to the ground, as the explosions were strong enough to blast him backwards.
"That was good Haku-san!"
"Yes..."
But it wasn't enough.
It was strong enough to make it mad, turning towards the pair, and came down with a giant swing of its hammer like claw.
Ryouta and Haku tried to make a retreat, but it blew its bubbles in the way, blocking their path, and knocked them down.
Shisui, having finished off everyone, rushed towards them.
Even with his speed, he knew that he might not get there in time, he tightened his eyes, knowing he didn't have a choice.
His eyes changed form, rather than the normal Sharingan design, they changed into a different type of form, a four pointed pinwheel shape, and when they did, a green aura leaked off of his body, something Ryouta noticed it.
Then, from his body, a giant clad in green chakra skeleton like hand shot forward, shocking Ryouta, as the hand grabbed the claw, Ryouta's eyes widening, looking down to see that Haku had her eyes away from the claw, seemingly trying to brace for the attack.
In fact, everyone was busy so they didn't see it, besides Zabuza who glanced over as he held his sword to the neck of Jinpachi. Suigetsu wasn't even looking, he was too busy waking his brother up from Shisui's Genjutsu.
Ryouta watched as Shisui's new green large hand snapped the claw off of the crab, and tossed it right back at the crab, but Ryouta also saw that pain was etched onto Shisui's face, Ryouta didn't know why that was.
Shisui then got between them, bending down to check on him.
"Are you alright?"
Ryouta could only nod.
But then he saw the crab coming back around.
"Shi-chan! It's coming again!"
Shisui glanced behind him, locking eyes with the creature, and cast a powerful Genjutsu onto it, locking it in place, his eyes returning to normal Sharingan when he did cast the Genjutsu onto the crab, its eyes even gained the Sharingan design.
"Don't worry, I've got it under my control now."
"Under...your control..."
"Right, the Sharingan can put people under our control if you're strong enough to do it Ryou. It can take a little time, depending on how skilled you are, but right now, it's under my control, it wont be able to escape my Genjutsu. Now..." He offered Ryouta's his hand. "...why don't we finish this off together?"
Ryouta nodded, and stood beside his brother.
"Yes Shi-chan."
"Great, then you do fire, I'll bring the wind."
This was like a dream for Ryouta.
To fight side by side with his elder brother, it was one of the things he had always wanted to do.
To support his brother, to be able to see his brothers skills, and also show his brother the skills he had as well.
Shisui also felt like this was a dream.
He had thought about it since Ryouta wanted to be a Ninja.
How they'd fight together, defeat the enemies, and be known as a team together.
Though he didn't think Ryouta would be this young when he'd fight beside him, he was glad that he could fight together with Ryouta even under these circumstances.
Then, Ryouta and Shisui weaved through some hand signs together.
"Fire Release, Great Fireball Jutsu!"
"Wind Release, Great Breakthrough!"
Shooting out a strong ball of fire, and a powerful gust of wind.
Shisui then caused his wind to mix together with Ryouta's fire release, combining them together to form a powerful tornado of hot flames, slamming right into the crabs body.
The flaming tornado swept the crab up in it, and span so rapidly that it pierced through the crab, incinerating it due to the combined chakra natures, the wind empowered the flames even more than ever before.
Jinpachi and Kushimaru fell into despair when he did this.
Seeing the power was spectacularly scary.
Mangetsu, who recovered from Shisui's Genjutsu thanks to Suigetsu helping him out looked on in awe.
Haku was also under bewilderment, seeing how the pair had combined their Jutsu's together to create such an attack in the first place.
Zabuza looked on, and exhaled slowly.
"Seems like that is the true power of the Uchiha. Geez...I really wouldn't mind them joining me. Shisui and I could have killed the Mizukage together...and that boy Ryouta...he definitely is going to be feared in the future."
As he said it, Jinpachi tried to sneak attack him.
But Zabuza saw it coming, dodging the exploding sword.
"Zabuza!"
"Sorry, but you're dead."
Jinpachi tried to raise his blade, but Zabuza stomped on it, keeping it in place.
Fear came to Jinpachi as Zabuza met his gaze.
"W-Wait, Zabuza! You don't have to do this! We could work together!"
"Go and howl in hell, Jinpachi."
Zabuza then swung his sword, cutting off his head.
Mangetsu and Suigetsu witnessed that, and together thought "How cool." wishing to learn more about Zabuza, his skills, his ways, and his Demon presence, it was something that could intrigue them for hours on end, so much so that Mangetsu knew that he'd have to try and get in good with Zabuza.
"Wow...look what we did Shi-chan...we did it...we really did it..."
Ryouta exhaled when done, and dropped to the ground due to using his Sharingan and using Genjutsu along with Fire Release a few times, since he was still a child it could be rather exhausting, even Haku did feel exhausted.
Shisui on the other hand, placed a hand to his face, his fingers running across his eyelids.
"Using Susanoo can be a killer, my bodies feeling pain just from using the hand of it...still, Ryou saw it...how am I supposed to explain that…?"
Shisui wasn't sure on how to explain it.
He didn't think anyone else saw it, he tried to hide it as much as he could, but he knew he had to use it to protect his little brother.
With the battle now over, Shisui took in a breath, and went to move, when he saw several chakra signatures coming towards them, so he grabbed Ryouta, pulled out his tanto to get ready to defend himself.
"Shi-chan are we under attack again!?"
"I don't know, but stay close!"
Ryouta nodded, seeing the incoming new Mist Ninja.
Ao himself used his skills to get up behind Zabuza, who due to the battle, was a little tired, so his reflexes were dulled, and when he turned, he saw Ao with a kunai coming for his chest, Ryouta noticed and suddenly felt cold.
He looked to the side, and saw Haku had formed an ice mirror, and another had formed at the right hand side of Zabuza.
"Haku-saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!"
He screamed, but Haku jumped out of the mirror, and got stabbed in her stomach, Ryouta's face falling, while Zabuza looked at the girl that had become his shield, Shisui's face fell when seeing that also.
"Damn..."
Shisui murmured, while Ryouta began to panic about Haku's condition.
Ao was surprised, enough for Zabuza to bring out his sword, and swing it towards Ao, almost as if he was going to cut through Haku.
"Zabuza-san! Don't cut through her! Don't take away her future!"
Ryouta yelled, as he rushed forward, Shisui did the same thing to make sure that Ryouta didn't get hurt.
Zabuza, at the last moment, turned his blade sideways, catching the girl up on the side, smashing the blade across Ao's body, and flung him backwards, and at the same time, flung Haku towards Ryouta's direction.
Ryouta jumped, and caught Haku, skidding backwards as Shisui stared Zabuza down who looked back without emotion.
"Haku-san..."
Haku's eyes went towards Ryouta's weakly.
"Did I...protect Zabuza-sama…?"
"Yes...but you have to worry about yourself now..."
Ryouta looked at her wound, placing his hand against it to stop the bleeding. He then thought about what Izumi had taught him, while he wasn't an expert of medical practices, he did know just enough for him to be able to at least help Haku out, mentally thanking Izumi for this.
Zabuza's eyes went towards Haku, then towards Ryouta, seeing that he was trying to help her, showing genuine concern for her, something Zabuza didn't think he was capable of doing.
That moment, he saw someone that did care for Haku.
Something more, than he could.
"Hey Shisui Uchiha..."
"What?"
Zabuza glanced, to see Mei coming towards him.
"That girl, would she be accepted by your village?"
"She's an orphaned child, who has no ties anywhere, I'm sure Hokage-sama would accept her...and I'll make sure she's able to live."
Zabuza chortled, swinging his sword for Mei, and forced her backwards. But more Ninja were coming for him, he could see that the difficulty was going to be quite hindering for him.
Mangetsu, along with Suigetsu quietly made their retreat, grabbing Kabutowari the axe and hammer combination, and Jinpachi's Shibuki blast sword, leaving Kushimaru's blade and Kushimaru himself behind.
Zabuza's eyes then went towards Ryouta.
"Hey boy."
Ryouta looked back towards him.
"What?"
"It seems maybe...she, as a tool, is no longer useful to me. Maybe...you'll make some use of her."
If Ryouta was right, then it sounded as if Zabuza was wishing Haku a good life.
Perhaps he knew he couldn't carry Haku and get away.
Maybe his consciousness caught up with him, and he wanted Haku to have a better life.
Perhaps it was a combination of the two.
Whatever it was, Ryouta thought deep down that Zabuza at least cared about Haku, stopping himself from cutting through her, maybe he wasn't as much of a Demon as Zabuza himself thought he was, and had some kindness deep down.
"Zabuza-san...is this your act of kindness to Haku-san?"
"This, is me not wanting dead weight slowing me down. She was always...too nice anyway for my style. At least with you...she'll finally have a dream. Make sure her talent doesn't die, boy. I don't know what it is about you...but you make Haku happy. Happiness, didn't think it existed when it came to Ninja."
Zabuza's eyes locked with Ryouta, and for a moment, he thought he saw a true flash of Zabuza's real emotions which felt like Zabuza saying "Take care of her for me." when he didn't utter a word, his face told Ryouta everything he needed to know.
"Yes...Zabuza-san. I will take care of her."
"Heh, grow up to be strong like your brother...no surpass him, I want to challenge you in the future. I'll be waiting."
Ryouta watched as Zabuza used the Hiding in Mist Jutsu, creating a thick layer of mist around himself.
When Mei used her own Jutsu to dispel the mist, Zabuza was gone.
"Damn...okay, Ao, take a group and go after him! I'll be here to make this area secure!"
"Understood!"
Ao glanced at Shisui, who smiled, recognizing him, and waved.
"Ao, it's been a while, how have you been?"
Ao's eyes widened with worry, Ao's face dropped, draining of colour, and he made a hasty retreat out of the area.
Ryouta glanced at Shisui who chortled "Seems like he does remember me~" happily.
Shisui then bent down towards Ryouta who was tending to Haku's wounds.
"...Zabuza-san, what he did for her...it was his kindness, right?"
At Ryouta's question, Shisui developed a curious face.
"Zabuza...is a very complex man...but yes, deep down, this was his act of kindness to Haku. Now, lets take care of her."
"But what about the Kiri Ninja? Are they enemies? Or allies?"
Shisui glanced at Mei who looked back at him sharply.
"I think that we're about to get our real explanation to what's been going on around here."
Ryouta nodded.
But he kept thinking about what he saw in regards of Shisui, and the green hand.
His eyes changing from regular Sharingan to something he hadn't seen before.
What that was...Ryouta didn't know.
But he wanted to find out.
Zabuza ran for his life, knowing that he was being chased.
If he would get away, he didn't know.
But thinking back to what happened, he thought that Haku would be alright with Ryouta.
He had come to respect the boy for standing up for what he believed in.
Fighting to make things right.
A small smirk came to his face, but then Ao and some of the Kiri Ninja jumped him.
He growled, and went to make a stance, when Mangetsu suddenly came up from behind the group, and sliced a few of them down, Ao managed to avoid it, but then Suigetsu launched the Shibuki sword which allowed a few paper bombs to come off the blade, and headed for Ao, who had to retreat backwards.
Zabuza growled at the sight before him, seeing the pair of brothers.
"What do you kids want?"
Mangetsu turned towards him, and showed a peace sign.
"Zabuza-sama, since you've lost that girl, wouldn't you need some new people to walk with you?"
Zabuza narrowed his eyebrows.
"I'm picky. I only go for the talented."
He said in a cold tone, Mangetsu chortled.
"Right, that's why we want to work together with you, and become Demon's of the Mist, together with you!"
Suigetsu jumped beside him.
"Yeah, yeah! Take us with you! Seeing your talented murder art form was the best thing of my life! Your technique is amazing, your skills are top notch!"
Zabuza looked between the two of them.
He did need new people to join him.
If they would follow his every word…
"Hmph, if you can keep up, I'll consider letting you follow me."
Zabuza turned heels, and shot off, so Mangetsu grabbed Suigetsu, taking off in a speedy manner.
Though in Zabuza's eyes, they weren't replacements for Haku, they had killer instincts, and with training, he could see them becoming good assets for him.
That day, the three Demons of the Mist had come together, the first and second generations, birthing a new dangerous group.

So the fight happened!
Ryouta and Haku worked together to take down some Kiri Ninja with a combo of skills and traps they had set up, along with deducing Suigetsu's ability and managing to take him down. Ryouta even made his first kills, and though it was something hard for the kind Ryouta, he still knew he had to do it, and worked through it quickly with Haku.
Shisui fought off Mangetsu, and Kushimaru, along with more Kiri Ninja, and using his skills, managed to take them down, while Zabuza cut through all of his enemies, even cutting off Jinpachi's head towards the end.
Ryouta and Shisui even worked together to take down a strong summoned crab together, fulfilling a dream the brothers shared about fighting beside one another, with Ryouta's eyes fully maturing thanks to his desire to protect and save Haku.
Then towards the end, Mei came in with Ao, and a group of backup, Zabuza was nearly injured, but Haku took the blow. Remembering the words of Shisui and Ryouta, and what Ryouta yelled at him, Zabuza passed Haku onto Ryouta, knowing that despite the small amount of time they had together, Ryouta would care for Haku now, displaying some of his humanity and true feelings about Haku.
Then Mangetsu, and Suigetsu, seeing the ruthlessness of Zabuza, and his skills, decided to follow him, defecting from Kiri essentially, and became the Trio of Demon's together, of course with the Demon Brothers still out there for Zabuza to get later on.
Kushimaru survived...there is a reason for that, that's all I can say right now.
