Fon was knocked out of his meditative stance by a loud screech that often-meant Skull had once again managed to annoy the residential Sun, and world renown Hitman. He opened his eyes, knowing, from forty years in the others presence, that he wasn't going to be able to return to his mediative stance until the annoyance was dealt with. A dark amusement lite his eyes as Reborn pulled a gun and aimed it at the purple menace.

"Lacky." The Sun growled, his patience at an all-time low.

"Don't hate the immortal Skull-Sama Sempai!" Skull shrieked, and how he still managed to reach such an octave since returning to their natural bodies still boggled Fon's mind. His eyes narrowed as he peered at the male cowering away from the intense rage. For a moment he was tempted to let it play out. To see just how far Skull would push Reborn before the man snapped, but he really didn't want to deal with the aftermath.

"Skull, I couldn't find the tea this morning." He called out before the situation could escalate. It wasn't a question and Skull knew it.

"Awe Sempai! I think we ran out?" The other squeaked his purple eyes wide with a faux innocent expression painted on his face.

"If you are getting more, I think Viper was complaining about needing more strawberry milk." Fon more stated more than asked. At least with Skull out of the house he could have a bit of peace. It was a shame that Verde said they had to be together for the time being and was unaware of just how long it would take their flames to settle. He wouldn't mind taking Skull with him to China, the menace was sure to brighten up the Triads and bring him all sorts of amusement.

"Alright, Skull-Sama can go to the store for Sempai." Skull declared as he stood, a hint of mischief shined in his eyes that Fon had never seen before, he felt his own eyes narrow in contemplation as Skull scuttled out of the room. It didn't take long before Reborn was grumbling as he left the room, a grumble about the Lacky's annoyance trailing behind him.

A hint of suspicion intruded on Fon's thoughts even as he heard the roar of the purple menaces motorcycle peel out and away from the manor. That look of mischief had revealed no actual fear, and the more he thought about it the more certain he was.

Skull was not, and probably had never, been afraid.

That… well that was mildly concerning. Seeing how Skull's fear and cowardice was well known by all of the Mafia. That it might be manufactured had never entered the Storms mind. Because if Skull truly wasn't afraid, then what else was manufactured? Just what was the truth of their Cloud?

"Everything alright Kora?" Colonnello asked as he came in, his normal attire set aside in the comfort of their home. Instead, he wore a pair of brown cargo shorts and a plain shirt.

"Skull was annoying Reborn." He stated instead of answering the other male. He didn't have an answer to the questions dancing around in his mind and didn't feel like expressing his thoughts until he did.

"Kid has a fucking death wish." Colonnello growled with a glare that indicated his own annoyance. And that just added another question didn't it.

The Arcobaleno's were not without enemy's, were they? So how exactly did Skull, the weakest and a civilian, one that still had trouble killing, manage to survive in their lifestyle for more than forty years? His flames flared as he saw the truth and silently cursed himself for a fool.

And a fool he was. Skull had masterfully played all of them for over forty years. The fool Skull was still playing them as. And they all so willingly fell for his act. Never once questioning it.

"Kora!" Colonnello called, breaking him from his thoughts, his eyes flashed to the rain who was looking at him with wide eyes, or more importantly looking at where his hands had left deep gouges in the floor.

"Want to talk about it?" The Rain asked after a pause, his eyes raised to Fon's own.

"Not particularly." He stated after a moment, folding his arms across his chest to keep from destroying anything else. "Tell me, what do you think of Skull?" He questioned after a moment.

"He's an idiotic fool who lacks both brains and courage. Annoying, don't know how he's managed to stay alive this long." The Rain answered immediately. The annoyance obvious in his face. Fon let out a hum of acknowledgement as the man left him to his thoughts.

The next few days proved to be both enlightening and rather infuriating for the normally composed Martial Artist.

He had spent a lot of time watching the menace, and Skulls eyes told a different story from his actions. When he cringed away and shrieked in fear his eyes, for those who were looking, showed no hint of fear but rather a sort of morbid amusement. Skull enjoyed upsetting the others. He was enjoying making them lose their collective cool.

The worse part was, they all did. Viper would growl in annoyance their eyes shadowed as they hissed in displeasure that astounded Fon, considering he actually had thought Skull and the Mist were on friendly terms. Verde would often grumble about uneducated heathens on the rare occasions he had ascended from his lab. Reborn and Colonnello would often grouch and strike out at the stuntman and Lal March would level a gun in warning for the man to leave wherever she was.

Fon found his eye twitching now that he was watching. All of them were blinded by Skull's loudness. By his dress, his makeup, his cowardice, the list was endless; and Fon for the life of him could not see to what purpose he drew this charade.

It was during their 'movie night' when Yuni came to visit, Skull had slunk away to his room with an exaggerated pout about something Reborn had stated when the young Sky had addressed him, drawing the others gazes to him.

"He's broken." She stated simply. His sharp gaze shooting from the hallway Skull had gone down to the small girl sitting curled up on the couch, her own warm gaze locked on him.

"Who's broken Principessa?" Reborn asked, his normal voice held a hint of fondness for the Donna.

"Skull." That single word had the others tensing as they shot up from their relaxed positions. Their gazes locked on Yuni whose own gaze was locked on Fon. "I don't know much about it." She stated, her voice calm and unwavering.

"Then what do you know?" Fon asked after a moment.

"He was broken before he was Skull, he was someone else." She stated getting a snort from La.

"Were aware the Lacky has amnesia." Verde stated with an eyeroll, and he was right. They had known since before the curse that Skull had no recollection of who he was. They knew he had awoken in a hospital in Russia with no knowledge of a name before he had joined the Circus. This wasn't news to any of them.

"But he doesn't." She stated when they had started to relax, assured that they already knew what she was going to say.

"Yes, he does. The Lacky doesn't have any memories from his childhood." Lal stated annoyance clear in her voice. "Are we going to watch the movie or not?" She demanded.

"Skull doesn't have amnesia. He never did." Yuni stated with a certainty in her voice that the others could not help but to believe her. Fon could feel the others sitting back up, their eyes blazing with their flames. "I don't know most of it, but…." She trailed off, for the first time since she had started this conversation, she looked uncertain before she straightened her spine.

There was conviction in her eyes as she looked away from Fon's burning gaze to look at the others. Her eyes flickered from one form to another before landing back on Fon's.

"Nonna knew, she knew what they did to Skull. She knew and she did nothing. She didn't try to fix him. She didn't try to make things easier for him. She wrote she regretted it, but by the time she acknowledged her regret it was too late. Skull wanted nothing to do with her. She didn't blame him, not the way mother did. Mother never forgave Skull for not going to Nonna's funeral. A part of mom hated him because Nonna wanted forgiveness and Skull refused to give it to her."

"What did they do to Skull, and who exactly are 'they'?" Reborn growled, his voice low and dangerous. A reminder that while Skull might be a menace, he was still one of them and nobody got away with hurting one of them.

"Viper, Nonna's diary is under my bed in the Giglio Nero manor. I will pay you to get it. I think…. I think it's well past the time you all understood Skull."

"Should Skull not be here for this?" Fon asked, his voice deceptively calm even as he folded his hands into his sleeves. He could feel his flames churning in agitation. For the past few weeks, he had more questions than he had answers and he wanted answers.

"Not if you want to keep him." Yuni stated her eyes lowered almost sadly as a book appeared in her lap.

"What do you mean by that?" Fon demanded, his eyes sharp looking for any perceived deception from the Sky.

"The curse bonded our flames too tightly. Not even death will be able to take them apart. Like it or not Skull is stuck with us." Verde asserted before Yuni had a chance to speak. "It's why were all still here, I need to see just how deeply the bond goes and what kind of damage splitting up will cause."

"Yes…and no." Yuni stated, contradicting herself as she opened the diary.
