Fon didn't remember a time he had enjoyed more. Skull's reaction to seeing him with his shirt undone made his blood boil pleasantly in his veins. The small dusting of pink on her face, unhidden by makeup and bare for his own eyes to feast on. Perhaps he should feel somewhat bad, considering he saw how uncomfortable she was; but the dark twisted part that thrived in the Triads found the whole thing very amusing and not just a little arousing.
The way her eyes darted to his bare chest and away from him, the way her fist clenched and unclenched, the way her eyes dilated, and her breath became quick and shallow, the unconscious way she licked her lips. Oh, she was aroused by him, and he was loving every moment of it. His skin burned deliciously as he recalled just how it felt to have her pinned, his flames purred at the thought of pushing them into her body, marking her as his Sky. Bonding those flames to himself.
He did have to wonder just what those pieces of Jewelry did. Some of it was obvious. Somehow or another they hid the wearers true form and voice, but he suspected it did more than that. Perhaps some type of misdirection? Something to keep others from coming to a correct conclusion. He didn't remember ever seeing Skull angry, but now she seemed to be a bottle of pent-up rage. Or perhaps now that she was forced to be herself that pent-up rage was coming out.
Either way, he was enjoying seeing her eyes tick. Her hands curl and her flames spark. All that power pent up for years, at the fingertips of a small little woman who had always been thrown off as unimportant. He wanted it. Most people when they thought of greed thought of Viper, but Fon knew better. They were all greedy in their own way. Viper was just more obvious about it.
Verde liked his experiments and would not allow anything stand in his way of doing them. Reborn and his title, he would kill to keep it. Colonnello and his gun, Lal March, and her stoic appearance. As for him, he wanted power. He hungered for it, and Skull had it in spades.
He imagined just what life would be like with a Cloudy-Sky, a perfect Sky. After all a Sky who was also a cloud would no doubt allow their elements the freedom to roam as they willed.
"You're thinking too loudly Fon." Reborn called sounding vastly amused, drawing his gaze to the other male. "Skull is up in her room and Verde has a silent alarm set to go off if she comes out."
Fon let out a noncommittal hum as he followed the Sun from the room into where the others seemed to have already set up. His eyes danced from one to the other before landing on his Mist. "Any luck finding out how the jewelry works?" He asked with a tilt of his head.
"There is nothing there that I can find." Viper reluctantly admitted after a moment's pause. "It isn't Mist flames, and Verde has already ran his own tests. Whatever it is must only activate for Skull."
"Are you still in need of it?" He inquired with a smile on his lips that none present believed.
"I will charge you for them." Viper stated as they misted the missing jewelry to themself.
"You know my banking information." Fon agreed as he reached out to take the precious ornaments in his hand. "The makeup?"
"I have it. I'm still running tests on it, but I doubt you or she will ever see it again." Verde admitted with a shrug. Fon nodded as he pocketed the Jewelry.
"So, the Lacky. We going to talk about her?" Colonnello inquired after a moment.
"Like just how long she's known Mandarin? Or how long she's been holding back in a fight?" Lal groused in annoyance.
"I would like to know just what those earrings of hers does that made her seem so unremarkable." Reborn stated, tilting his fedora down over his eyes.
"Do you think now that we are aware they will work on us?" Fon asked looking at Viper and Verde. Even if they didn't know how they worked they should have some idea on if they would still be affected by them.
"Only time will tell." Verde said, his face void of the irritation Fon knew he felt.
"I am interested in just what Famiglia Skull's father and Godfather were in and whether or not we are going to need to keep an eye on her, least they try to reclaim her for themselves." Reborn muttered, his countenance dark.
"We may need to look into when her father and godfather died and which famiglia lost a Cloud and Sky at that time. We can narrow it down from there." Lal stated after a moment of thought. "I doubt she will be forthcoming with the information we want."
"I'm sure we can get the information out of her. Skull, regardless of everything else, is still our Cloud and will soon be our Sky. We know her just as well as she knows us. It will take very little to get her to tell us what we want." Fon dismissed sounding amused. He had no problem manipulating Skull to get what he wanted.
None of them saw the shadowy form leave the darkened hallway, so intent on their discussion.
A derisive snort left Skulls lips as she made it back to her room, Verde's devices sitting innocuously on the floor by her door. They thought they knew her; thought they could force her. How…funny.
It wasn't that she had a problem being their Sky, and how they had found out about those Flames she would very much like to know considering she had buried them into her core long before she had ever met them. No, better her than some spoiled kid who wouldn't know just what these bastards were capable of. No what bothered her was that they were making plans to force her to bond with them. They had stolen her Jewelry and makeup. They had invaded her space.
They thought they knew her, that made her face split into a grin. Oh, they didn't know a damn thing about her. Maybe she should give them some tidbits. It would kill the time before they could split up. Give them breadcrumbs and let them make their own minds up, and then show them how very little they knew. She was the daughter of the Marauder, the goddaughter and honorary niece of the other two. The student of Mad eye.
This…this was going to be fun
